1Hello everyone, it has been awhile, yeah? I'm sorry, my other stories have become a bit...dry to me. I've had spurts of motivation to try and write a chapter for a few of them, but I suppose as of now that those other stories besides this one are on hold. Hmm except for The Other Ackerman and How it All Changed. It seems that readers enjoy those the most...so I'll see what I'll do about those, but for now please enjoy the preview for my new Dragon Age fanfiction. AH...never mind. I forgot what I was going to say. Oh, now I remember. I have no beta reader.
Preview
Pushing the up button for the elevator, Strae ran a hand through her hair. You'd think by having an adult badge that they'd let me into the panel. Then again, Damion did say it'd be easier for others to swap badges to fake their age. The up button glowed blue and the doors opened. Fiddling with her badge Strae walked in when she noticed a couple of others out of the corner of her eye flagging her down to hold the doors. She returned their wave with one of her own and waited for them to board, giving a polite smile as they asked for their floor's button to be pushed.
Arriving at the third floor she said her 'have a good night' to the others and dug around in her thigh pouch to find the key card to her room, she paused, the key in her hand nearly close enough to activate the door lock. Didn't Amanda say she was inviting some girl to the room? Oh man, they better not be having sex or something. Strae stared at the door in contemplation. Well, I might as well go in and get this over with.
Bracing her eyes and ears for the worst Strae pressed the card to the lock, a small flash of light and a click signaled that the door was unlocked.
"Hey Amanda and stranger I hope you two are still dressed aren't having sex on the nice hotel beds," Strae half shouted as she walked in. Thankfully for her mind and sanity the room was empty of anyone and the air inside wasn't anything uhh...strange.
"Oh thank goodness," Strae murmured to herself " next time we go to a con there is going to be some rules about inviting strangers." Taking off her armor Strae dropped herself onto one of the beds, taking an edge of the blanket in her hands, she rolled to the other side wrapping herself up in the fluffy white sheets, and fell asleep a few minutes later.
Soo on a side note...how ya guys doin? Did you eat yet? Are you feeling okay? No? Ah, maybe I should let you sleep. Sweet dreams.
