It is my unfortunate duty to research the miserable lives of the Baudelaire orphans, Violet, Sunny and, Klaus, who had to constantly be on the lookout for the villainous Count Olaf, who was after their enormous fortune left by their parents Who perished in a terrible fire that burned down their house. However the banker Mr. Poe Who was in charge of the fortune in till Violet came of age did not do a very good job of keeping his eye out for Olav, who had a great many disguises.

"Well, here goes nothing," Violet Baudelaire sighed as her and her siblings walked into 's office.

"Okay Baudelaires, you will be going to stay with a Lux Bonteri on the planet Fest. I can take you to the spacebus on my landslide, but I can't go any farther than that. The banking clan would not be pleased if I were gone for too long. Well, come along now children."

"Klaus, what is Fest like?" Violet asked her brother Klaus.

"Well, I don't know much, but from what I've read from datapads, is that it is a cold planet like Hoth, but darker," Klaus responded.

"Well Baudelaries, we're here. Now please be cheerful for your new guardian, I know it has been hard, but please try to make it work. Here are your tickets, and that's the one you'll be taking," He said while pointing to the most dingy bus of all.

When they climbed aboard they saw just how dingy it was. There was trash littered all over the floor, and it smelled like garlic, cheese, and split oil. The bus driver, however, had a kind face and looked either young or old, depending on if you looked at his hands or his eyes. There were two other passengers, both of whom were asleep. The children passed the ride in silence, and looking at a stain on the floor.
