Sorry for the wait! Writing this chapter was difficult. Please see the note at the end.

Congrats to Horikoshi for finally finishing MHA! It's hard to believe it's been ten years but time sure does fly.

Also, Vigilantes is finally getting an anime adaptation and the teaser looks amazing.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

"Razor! That's the demon's brother!"

No sooner had the words left his mouth did everyone shoot him incredulous looks. Izuku and Razor were especially flabbergasted since Stain seemed genuinely terrified. However, that paled in comparison to Naomasa.

"Um, excuse me?" he said confused.

He didn't understand why the Hero Killer seemed afraid of him. Why was he a demon? Wait, no, demon's brother? That would mean Stain knew… no… it wasn't possible. His sister would never get involved with a murderer like him, right?

"Um, Stain," Izuku said stepping forward. "We're all kind of confused here. What exactly are you talking about?"

Stain was shaking, much to everyone's discomfort, but managed to find his voice. "That man is Naomasa Tsukauchi, brother to Makoto Tsukauchi, a demon in human form."

Naomasa was about to protest only to be interrupted by the other villains.

Cider House members screamed in terror and flocked behind Razor.

"RAZOR HELP US! PLEASE KEEP US SAFE FROM HER!" the leader pleaded as he got on his knees and performed a Japanese Dogeza.

Of course, this only served to annoy. "What the fuck is wrong with you all?! Stand up and get your shit in gear! Do you want me to kill you or something?!"

"Yes! Please kill us!" the leader begged. "A slow painful death from you is far better than facing her!"

Razor, for her part, was genuinely taken back by his request. "Huh, didn't see that one coming."

She wasn't the only one. Reo (who'd had his quirk active the whole time) was disturbed because he could tell they weren't lying. He'd only met Makoto twice, but she didn't seem all that bad.

The Vigilantes were somewhat different. Having known Makoto personally, they knew she was a good person and a great friend. However, they also knew she could be quite intimidating when she wanted to be and was prone to getting her way using some very convincing arguments… and occasionally some underhanded tactics.

Gyges and Briaeros were half inclined to just drag them off to Tartarus right then and there, particularly Stain. The idea of them working with villains and mercenaries was appalling to them. Vigilantes they tolerated because they at least tried to help society, albeit illegally. The only reason they didn't was they were under strict orders not to. Their boss and the Commission President had been very clear about that. Still, even they were baffled by their behaviour.

"Seriously! What the fuck!" Dabi swore.

"I have to agree," Orca admitted. "Detective, we know your sister personally. Just what could she have done to trigger this sort of reaction?"

"Probably threaten them with blackmail and other stuff," Brava smoothly responded.

"That does sound like her," Gentle agreed.

"Hold on a minute! Gentle, La Brava, you know her?" Izuku asked sounding surprised.

"Sure we do. She approached us for a favour once," Brava revealed. "Information on some unsightly people. As payment, she became a lifelong fan of Gentle. A fair exchange in my opinion."

Izuku rolled his eyes. Of course, that would be the price. Not that Gentle's videos were bad or anything (on the contrary they were quite good), but they didn't get many views or comments. Izuku would know since he was one of his followers online.

"Okay, first of all, my sister isn't here, she's in New York," Naomasa explained steadily. "And second, how do you all know her?"

At the revelation that… the demon… was currently not in the country the villains relaxed and released exhales of relief. Naomasa didn't like that one bit.

After managing to compose himself, Stain spoke.

"I um, well, I met her about a year or two ago," Stain paused. "I mean, no, that's not right. We didn't exactly meet she…" Stain hesitated before breathing in and out. "…captured me."

The uncomfortable silence which felt like hours (but was a couple of minutes) was nothing compared to the looks Stain was receiving. At first, it was confusion followed by disbelief, and then Reo clarified he was telling the truth causing them to turn into shock.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!" Naomasa screamed at the top of his lungs. "HOW IN THE HELL DID MAKOTO MANAGE THAT?!"

"I have to agree," Razor admitted softly looking stunned. "Even I would have difficulty doing that."

The heroes and Tartarus guards were in denial. It shouldn't have been possible. They had searched day and night for Stain only to come up with nothing, yet a civilian, one who wasn't even trained managed to succeed where they couldn't. There was something seriously wrong with that!

"I know. I was taken off guard myself by her tenacity," Stain admitted solemnly with a small tinge of admiration. "She lured me into an alley and sprung a trap she set. Following my detainment, she approached me and well, she started to talk about… things."

"Things?" Naomasa repeated. 'I don't like where this is going.'

"She knew things about me. Things no one should nor could have known. Where I lived, my hobbies, my tactics, my future targets, things I had… people… in the past," he struggled. Izuku could've sworn he saw a haunted glimmer behind those eyes. "The list goes on. Anyway, she threatened to reveal it all unless I helped her. I tried to refuse, threatened her even, but she was very persuasive. Before I knew it, I was under her thumb doing this and that. It's been a while since we were in contact though."

"Same here," Cider House added.

"How long is a while?" Naoamsa asked knowing he wouldn't like the answer.

"Before New Year's I think. I had gathered up enough evidence and confessions for a case of an associate of hers," Stain revealed. "We haven't spoken since then. Also, not that it will make it much better, but at no point did she ever ask me to kill anyone."

"You're right, that doesn't make it better," Gyges noted. "Because aiding and abetting a serial killer with a notable body count is bound to get you landed, maybe not in Tartarus, but definitely in prison for a couple of decades and that's if she's not given the death penalty. Her actions with other criminals are not helping her case either."

"Now hold on a second," the female officer started.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that," Stain interrupted.

"Oh, and why would that be villain?" Briaeros sneered.

Stain gave them a look. "She had the skill and resources to ensnare me, knowing full well who I was and what I could do. Do you really think she wouldn't have the means to shield herself from the consequences?"

That managed to shut the Tartarus guards up along with anyone who wanted to ask further. Naomasa had the distinct feeling that the associate he was talking about was Captain Celebrity. The timing matched up with the removal of his lawsuits being removed. Of course, he didn't voice this out loud.

"Ray-Ray," Magma called out in a smooth deep voice. "We're getting off track here."

'RAY-RAY!' Izuku mentally screamed.

The Razor he knew would never let anyone call her by a cute nickname.

"Call me that again and I'll cut something off," Razor warned.

Magma smirked. She had been threatening to do that to him since they were kids but she never went through with it. One of the many benefits of being friends with Razor which the others save Ivy did not have.

"Okay, Makoto Tsukauchi the Demon is not the reason we gathered here, Hades is," Memory reminded them. "Detective, you were about to make a speech. Please continue."

"Thank you. As you are all aware the Raid on Hades main base failed leaving many heroes and police captured or possibly dead leaving Japan vulnerable. The defeat and capture of All Might itself is a heavy loss and likely to spur villains to action," Naomasa informed.

"Tch, nothing likely about it," Nagant interrupted. "The man's mere existence kept so many villains in line. Now that he's out of the picture, along with the other big guns, there's nothing to stop them from doing whatever the hell they want!"

"Which is why we've all gathered here today," Naomasa pressed on. "The purpose of this… team is to infiltrate Hades and free the hostages and hopefully take them down in the process."

"By using random groups of kids, villains, and law enforcement," Knuckleduster listed off. "Great plan! No way could that backfire!"

"You're right. Uncoordinated you won't make it very far. You will if you can get past that," Naomasa continued undeterred. "You each possess a different skill set, history, and power that when used properly can be quite effective. You also all have your reasons for wanting Hades gone whether you were ordered here or not. So, let's on that and move forward. In light of All Might's defeat, Hades will be occupied with other villain groups and recovering from the raid giving us a limited timeframe to pull this off."

"Um, I don't want to be an asshole or anything… at least more than usual, but how exactly do you plan on doing that? Last time your frontal assault didn't go so well," the Cider House leader pointed out.

"Oh, we won't be doing that," Naomasa countered. "We'll be taking a more subtle approach this time."

"Subtle?" Crawler repeated.

"An army will draw attention. A small strike force not so much," Shadow spoke for the first time. His voice sounded distorted as though more than one person spoke with him.

The idea itself sounded plausible. Only one problem.

"Even if that's the case how do you expect all of us to work together? Our personalities don't necessarily mix well," Dabi said.

"We could try a team bonding exercise?" Brava suggested. "Maybe have tea and exchange gossip or play poker?"

"Or play a board game?" Neijire added.

"You can't be serious!" Gyges deadpanned. "We're here to stop a crime syndicate not make friends."

"Ugh," Amajiki groaned. "I want to go home."

"If it's team-building you need, then I'd like to recommend the streets of Naruhata," the spiral mask offered. Their voice was also distorted making it unclear what gender they were. "It's filled with crime, if only low level, making it the perfect playground."

That caused an exchange of glances.

"Naruhata is perfect Sora," Naomasa declared. "We'll head there immediately! Any objections?"

"Just to be sure… the demon won't be there?" Stain asked.

"Oh for the love!" Razor snapped. "Sebastien give everything you've got on Makoto Tsukauchi!"

"Oh, her? She's not in Japan if that's what you're worried about, thankfully."

Razor blinked. "Why are you saying it like that?"

"Razor there's something… off about that woman. She got on our radar at one point and managed to secure a meeting with the boss and…"

Razor was getting a very bad vibe from this. BUTLER's boss was the last person anyone in the world, including her, wanted to piss off. He was someone who anybody with the remotest tiniest bit of sanity should try to avoid at all costs.

"They talked for a little while… then… somehow… the next thing we all knew was she'd convinced him to go on a date with her."

The world stilled for a very long time for Razor as she tried and failed to process what she just learned. Her boss who was fuckload more miserable, grouchy, and intimidating than her had gone on… a… date!

Razor fainted, much to Izuku's horror.

The crew from BUTLER were just as horrified at the news and reacted similarly, along with Stain.

As they stared at the unconscious bodies, only one thought came to mind, and only one was willing to voice it.

"We're all going to die!" Hitoshi said tiredly.

"It certainly looks that way," Fumikage agreed.

Naruhata Streets

Approximately three hours later, after a very difficult resuscitation, the… team assembled at Naruhata for their 'bonding' exercise.

"For this operation, we will be using code names and solely those. Whether it's your normal alias or an original one I don't care but you can't use your real names. The last thing we need is the enemy figuring out your identity," Naomasa informed them. "Also, for familiarisation purposes please state your quirk and skillsets."

(AN: They will only be referred to these when they address each other)

Izuku knew most of their quirks from observing them both in person and online. BUTLER, the vigilantes, and the police were the ones he didn't know.

Tigre declared his quirk was Tiger Soul with his primary fighting style being pro wrestling. Izuku immediately recognized him as Lobo's brother due to the similarities in their quirks, appearance, and accent.

Sora did not possess a quirk. Their primary skillset revolved around computers and hacking. Because of this, they were automatically paired with Brava and Sebastien as their support.

Magma's quirk was Lava. He could produce and control hot lava and influence magma that flowed beneath the very ground they stood and trigger eruptions. The quirk made him naturally resistant to fire and lava though he did have a limit. Like Razor, he was well versed in various fighting styles, but he preferred Muay Thai as his primary (along with a bit of Judo and Jiu Jitsu).

The rest of BUTLER'S agents were named after their quirks.

Memory could view, block, steal, and rewrite a person's memory in any way she deemed fit. While it seemed harmless on paper the quirk was very dangerous, nonetheless. By altering someone's memories she could change the feelings that were associated with them such as love, hate, and loyalty in a way that turned the target into a slave. However, such control and altercation took time to implement so she would remain in a support role. Her primary fighting style was capoeira while she excelled in business and investigation.

Shadow could expand his own shadow to attack along with others (provided they were in his vicinity) and hide within any shadow including those of living objects while moving to spy on them. When he hid in shadow he could move quickly like a fish in water. He did not give a fighting style. His specialities lay in stealth, espionage, and occasionally assassination.

Buff could increase a target's stats be it strength, defence, or speed for a limited amount of time much like a white mage from a videogame. Debuff could do the opposite. They could do it on multiple targets at once for the same amount of time however when that time expired they could not use their quirks on that person for up to an hour. Currently, their limit was fifteen minutes which might have seemed low but was a lot compared to when they started (two minutes each). They specialised in engineering and robotics which led them to being paired with Hatsumei.

Gyges and Briareos were highly trained in close and long-range combat, courtesy of the HSPC, and experts in tracking. They had a special variety of weapons ranging from knives to guns. Their muscle added to their fighting repertoire.

Monika's quirk was Scissors which allowed her to cut through anything using her fingers.

Cider House contained quirks suited for thievery. Carbon's quirk was Carbonize which allowed him to carbonize and control water. Gun's quirk was Stun Gun which allowed him to coat his body in electricity but not fire it out (basically a human Taser). M's quirk was EMP which allowed him to send out electromagnetic pulses that could short-circuit technology provided it was within his vicinity. Ame's quirk was Rain Cloud which allowed him to formulate clouds that would rain. Lock's quirk was Lockpick which allowed him to pick any lock. Ray's quirk was X-ray vision.

The ensemble was split into two factions:

Support: Sora, La Brava, Mandalay, Hatsumei, Memory, Buff, Debuff, Sebastian

Field: Everyone else.

Out of generosity, BUTLER supplied them with three mobile units: a workshop, a computer lab, and a medical station.

Mei was gushing over the workshop, eager for the chance to test out her 'babies'. She'd already brought Izuku's new staff along so she couldn't wait to try other stuff. The twins promised her the chance and welcomed her. They provided her with a pair of goggles that would test her inventions without exploding in a digital simulator. Izuku got the sense Power Loader would love that.

And so, here they all were on the rooftops of Naruhata watching the crowds down below for signs of crime. It was a surprise to see anyone out and about, but they weren't complaining.

Naruhata Streets

"Voicemail to Nice Guy and Kaos. They are headed your way."

"On it."

Three brothers all dressed in black were rushing through the streets using their shared quirk Slide and Glide.

"I flip!" the first one flipped up the skirts and shirts of passer-by much to their surprise.

"I strip!" the second deprived them of their undergarments much to their horror.

"I suit up!" the third one wore them much to their rage.

They immediately started to pursue the thieves by throwing whatever they could at them. It wasn't just women they did it on, but men as well. The Three Sturm and Drang boasted of their improved techniques for pursuing their passions.

At that moment, Crawler came shooting forwards only for them to leap and dodge… only to meet the ground when they landed on marbles and slipped (a bit of work on Momo's part). When they attempted to get back up Shadow rose and bound them using his quirk while Momo created some rope and handcuffs to restrain them.

"So, there are villains like this?" she asked with a tint of uncertainty. Going by her previous experiences with villains these were… underwhelming, to say the least.

"Pretty much, yeah," Crawler confirmed as he returned the stolen underwear to their angry owners who then proceeded to beat the thieves up. "Also, in case you ask, don't interfere. They won't die. Believe it or not, this is pretty normal around here."

Momo wasn't sure how to feel about letting civilians deliver their own brand of justice. Wasn't it against the law? Then again, if someone (Mineta) did that to her she'd be pretty angry too.

On another street, a similar issue.

"Leo and Turtle. You should be approaching him now."

A large man was using his quirk to psychically touch women while boasting about his ultimate technique. He was touching without actually touching which made it technically not groping as he claimed (still disturbing though).

Stain (who donned his old Stendhal costume) quickly cut the man and paralysed him. Tigre wasted no time in hoisting the man onto his shoulders and powerbombing him onto the pavement.

"This one didn't learn his lesson the first time," Tigre said.

Stain scowled. "Ugh! I forgot what kind of imbeciles you guys usually dealt with."

Tigre shrugged. "Somebody has to do it. May as well be us."

"Sniper, do you have them in sight?"

"Yeah, I got them," Nagant replied as her target raced through the street.

It was a small-time thief by the name of Emperor Yotsuura using his soccer quirk to steal. Nagant fired one bullet at the ball destroying and rendering the target stunned long enough for Knuckleduster to knock him out.

'Work together to take down, hmm, I guess villains… in their own way, but small fry at best. It's not the worst method of practising teamwork… for a team such as ours,' Nagant didn't know what to make of her current situation. It was a step down from what she used to do for sure. 'At least I don't have to kill anyone for the pettiest of reasons.'

"Mikumo, Ao, Lupin, Ocha, and Silver. There's a group of men harassing several high school girls."

"THE MAZINGER KARATE CLUB DEMANDS A PASSIONATE GROUP DATE WITH OUR FEMALE CLASSMATES!" the leader shouted.

The girls ran screaming. Unimpressed, Dabi stepped forward and surrounded them in a ring of blue fire.

"Seriously! Your whole motivation for becoming villains is to get girls to date you! That is just sad, even for me," he said bluntly much to their fury.

"How dare you interfere in our club's tradition of acquiring dates! For that,t you will suffer!" the leader declared.

They fired off their rocket fists (their quirk) only for them to bounce back as Gentle and Monoma materialised.

"Inconceivable! Have you scoundrels no shame?!" Gentle demanded. "You cannot force a maiden to fall in love with you! It must be of her own will!"

"I couldn't agree more," Monoma deadpanned. "What are you guys? Hero School dropout versions of Mineta?"

"That sounds disturbingly accurate," Izuku agreed as he and Razor appeared.

The master and student proceeded to beat up the club of villains in a matter of seconds. Izuku taking joy in his new staff. Mei had done a remarkable job.

"It's nice to see you haven't slouched in my absence," Razor complimented. "You still doing those breathing exercises I taught you?"

"Every day," Izuku replied.

"Roku, Juu, and Kunai. There are two villains high on trigger heading your way!"

"Roger!"

The two villains with train quirks were speeding through the streets uncaring of the damage they were wreaking. Everything and everyone (provided they dodged in time) in their way was either knocked hard to the ground or destroyed. They didn't even phase when the Tartarus brothers intercepted them. They just continued to push forward against the heroes until Edgeshot pierced through and knocked them cold.

"I've read about these two from Eraser's reports," Edgeshot informed. "Next-Level villains: Thomas S. Gordon and Willie Wanda."

"Villains on Trigger. I've heard of them," Gyges said. "And going by their tongues it's still Trigger, not Achilles."

"Could be that the drug hasn't made its way here yet," Briares offered. "Which is odd since this was the original testing ground."

The Commission reports said as such. Although they might have been spreading their activities further out to avoid detection.

"Fist, Muscle, Turbine, Noir, Mizu, Ame, Carbon, Artist, and Murasaki. There's a giant villain just one block away from you all."

"We see it," Knuckleduster answered. "This guy is one of the first Trigger villains. Builds up power then releases it back. He wasn't that big last time."

"Must be prolonged use of trigger then," Gang Orca surmised.

"We'd better make this quick then," Carbon decided. "Murasaki! It's your big debut! Show 'em what you can do!"

Hitoshi blushed a little at the praise. "Hey, old man! Did Trigger make you that ugly and stupid, or were you born that way?"

The remark was enough to warrant a reaction. The villain screamed at Hitoshi putting him under his thrall and allowing the others to do their work. In the following order: Magma unleashed lava at the beast's feet injuring and knocking it off balance; Ame made it rain to soak the villain and provide allies with water; Orca, Manual, and Carbon, aided by Neijire, simultaneously fired off at the villain managing to topple him; Knuckleduster threw a rigged taser on him that spread easily thanks to Ame; Fumikage then finished him off with an empowered Dark Shadow.

As the saying goes: there's no kill like overkill.

"Composer to Ieyesu, Nyx, Baron, Lock, Gun, and Ray. There's a group raiding a… manga store nearby."

"On it!" Naomasa responded as they rounded on the place.

Ray used his quirk to scope the building and its occupants. There were at least eight from what his quirk could tell, all in the hentai section. Given the nature of Naruhata, they weren't even surprised at this point.

Lock used his quirk to quietly open the doors. As the thieves had already disabled the security they didn't need to worry about any alarms. The store was dark which suited them just fine. Sansa's quirk didn't just give him cat characteristics, but also abilities, namely being able to see in the dark. The thieves barely had time to react before he disarmed every one of them with swift movement and sharp claws. Nyx followed up by restraining each of the villains by raising shadows and wrapping them around which provided the opportunity for Gun to knock them out and Naomasa to cuff them.

"Good work everyone!" Naomasa praised.

"Thanks. You know as far as bonding exercises go, this could be a lot worse," Ray mentioned.

"Don't jinx us!" Lock warned.

"Voicemail to Smile, Changeling, M, and Crab. There's a group of villains robbing electronic stores not too far from where you are."

"Roger!" Mirio declared proudly.

Around the said stores there were a group of villains using mechanical suits rather than their quirks to commit robberies. They could pass as mini-mecha suits though nowhere near as strong.

"M, do your thing!" Monika ordered.

"Sure thing… boss," M replied as he activated his quirk.

The suits were disabled to the villains' frustration. Monika dived forward and used her quirk to cut through the machines and allow for Mirio to knock them out. In the aftermath, Tamaki restrained them.

Up above on the buildings Jirou with Pop-Step beside her listened in on everything.

"Well, this is not what I expected," Kyoka admitted.

"Tell me about it," Pop sympathised. "When we first got together things were extremely chaotic. Not just with villains high on trigger, but the daily life as well. A couple of my shows were almost ruined."

"Oh yeah, I've seen the videos," Kyoka remembered. "You weren't that great at first, but your voice has come a long way."

Pop beamed at the praise. "Thank you! Before I was just someone who used her quirk to do a few shows but then I got a teacher and gigs and then I was really shining." She paused and frowned. "Although that wasn't always a good thing with some of my more… enthusiastic fans."

Kyoka groaned. "Aw, man. You to. My dad had to deal with a couple of those. Totally ruined his concerts."

Pop groaned in return. "Seriously, that's the worst. They're the worst. I hope he didn't get any stalk"

"What a cruel tragic scene," Kyoka and Pop were suddenly made aware of a man dressed in a white coat beside them. Panic instantly welled up inside as neither had detected him at all. "Why must we make each other suffer when we are all miserable prisoners of this vile earthly purgatory?"

Then without warning, the man threw off his coat and let his wings spread for flight… all while revealing his completely naked body.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the two women screamed at the top of their lungs.

They jumped back startled, which in turn, caused them to topple over the ledge. Fortunately for them, their screams had been heard by everyone.

Mirio jumped up from the ground to catch Pop while Neijire flew in and caught Kyoka. Unfortunately for them, their trauma was far from finished.

In the man known as Desires eyes, his flight was a forbidden one. Blinded by light he fell from the sky like an angel falling from Heaven. At least… that's how it would have looked if not for…

Icarus Falling Ecstasy!

…the fact that his lower section was very visible. Women screamed at the sight while men's faces fell.

"Guys watch out!" Pop yelled. "We've got another pervert on the loose."

"I think he's just got one of those quirks where you need to get naked first before using it," Mirio reasoned. "Technically, I was the same until I got my suit."

"IT'S STILL NOT APPROPRIATE!" Kyoka yelled.

The others had similar reactions.

"Dude! What the fuck!" Izuku swore.

"I get wanting to use your quirk freely but that's a bit much," Fumikage deadpanned.

"Not to mention psychologically scarring," Hitoshi muttered under his breath.

Razor rolled her eyes. "Eh, I'm not impressed. Seen better."

"As have I," Magma agreed with a tiny smirk. "I bet I could make something out of it though."

"Well, of course you would," Razor deadpanned.

"Oh, for the love of," Stain smacked his hand across his face. "And they wonder why I never show my face around here."

"You know," Gyges started. "We've been at Tartarus for so long with the worst of the worst I forgot how… harmless some villains can be."

"You said it, bro," Briareos added.

"These aren't villains they're perverts!" Reo stated.

"They're both!" Orca supported.

"Traumatising every maiden and man they come across with their lewd acts. Shameful," Gentle concluded.

"I couldn't agree more!" Momo agreed.

The support faction… save for Hatsumei were of a similar opinion.

"Oh, God!" Nagant exclaimed. "He's flying again. Should I shoot one of his wings? I can wait till he's closer to the ground so he won't go splat."

"No need senpai! I've got you all covered!" a familiar (to some) and unfamiliar (also to some) voice chirped on their earpieces.

Nagant blinked. 'Senpai?'

She wasn't his senior. She wasn't anybody's senior. Not as a hero and not with… oh… fuck.

"How did you gain access to this frequency!?" Brava demanded. "We went out of our way to make it extra secure!"

"A great magician never reveals his secret!" the voice responded cheekily. "Anyway, I'll be there in approximately… three seconds."

That was the last thing they heard before they watched something shoot through the sky towards the flying nudist.

Using his feathers, the villain was bound and gently brought down to the ground with the No.3 Hero Hawks to greet him with his trademark smile.

"Hawks?" Manual exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"

"The Commission figured you could use some extra help," the winged hero answered smoothly. "So, here I am."

Cries of horror and anger were suddenly replaced with cheers of adoration and gratitude as many fans gathered around to cheer him on. Hawks smiled in response and turned to the villain known as Desire.

"Look, buddy. I get it. Why not fly if you have wings? I had the same thought when I was younger. And doing it nude! Believe I understand where you're coming from. I once did the same thing. One night I looked out and just had the urge to try and so I did. Stripped naked and flew through the sky without a care in the world. It felt amazing! The wind raging against my entire body! Like I was truly free for the first time in my life!" Hawks soliloquized like he was in a play.

The fans looked on mesmerized (while blushing). Everyone else just looked stunned at his confession.

"Did he just admit that in front of a bunch of people, police and heroes included?" Kaniko asked perplexed.

"Yes, yes he did," Dabi answered. "Honest, isn't he?"

"Very. He's not lying in the slightest," Reo (for reasons he didn't know why) confirmed.

Instead of revulsion, people opted to swoon over the idea of Hawks doing that. And not just the women.

"Uh, seriously!" Izuku moaned.

"You can hardly blame them," Dabi said. "The man's very attractive, has a decent body, and his load is a nice size to."

Izuku turned to look at him as did the others. Sheer confusion was etched across their faces.

"Um, Dabi," Izuku said uncertainly. "How do you?"

"Oh, look," Dabi interrupted. "Here he comes!"

"So, this the little ragtag bunch of misfits set to take on the current biggest pain in Japan's ass! Am I right?" Hawks quipped as he rounded in on Izuku. "And you're the quirkless kid everyone's been talking about! You're much shorter than imagined."

"Um, thanks," Izuku replied uncertainly. There was a time he would have gone into complete hero fanboy mode just being in such close proximity to a hero like Hawks. While not his favourite growing, Hawks still intrigued him with his speed and versatility along with attaining a high ranking at such a young age. Now he was just confused. Why was he here? And how did he find them?

"Hawks, if you're here, would I be correct in assuming you are the extra backup the Commission said they were sending?" Naomasa questioned.

Hawks clapped his hands together and grinned. "You are indeed my dear detective!" Hawks bowed in a manner similar to theatre actors when the play ended. "Wing Hero: Hawks at your service!"

At first, no one said a word unsure of how to react to this new development. At least that's how it seemed.

Dabi clapped his hands together and smiled brightly. "Good to have you on board! I'm sure you've heard of everyone here, but for safety, we're using code names. Any preferences?"

"Hayato!" Hawks beamed. "Please call me Hayato!"

Dabi gave a thumbs-up of approval.

Izuku was flummoxed by what he was seeing. Not that he hadn't seen Dabi happy before but this was unusual. He was too… eager. Were he and Hawks? No. No way in hell! He couldn't see that one happening. Maybe Dabi just found him attractive, if those earlier comments implied anything. He never said which he preferred just… he never said anything. Maybe it was a small crush or something. There was no way they were… right? He barely believed in Edgeshot and Shino. Dabi and Hawks, now way. Just no way alright!

"So, you all seem to be working well together, so far," Hawks reasoned.

"I'm not sure I'd describe dealing with a bunch of perverts working well together," Tamaki deadpanned.

"We didn't backstab each other, at least," Lock added. "That's something, isn't it?"

"Something," Knuckleduster repeated. "Right."

"Perverts?" Hawks asked quizzically. "Is that it?"

"It's meant to be team bonding," Briareos justified. "Nothing too complicated. Small robberies and assaults. No big explosions or heists."

BOOM!

The ground shook hard as fire could be seen two blocks away.

"That huge explosion was where the bank is! Villains are robbing the bank! It's a big heist!" a nameless civilian shouted as they were running by.

Everyone turned to Briareos and gave him the look. Even his brother.

"You had to say it, didn't you?" Gyges chastised.

His brother gave him a look of pure betrayal. "Oh! So this is my fault!"

"You jinxed us," Neito pointed out.

"Voicemail to everyone. There is an armed robbery taking place at Naruhata Bank precisely two blocks away from your location. Suspects are armed and highly dangerous. Exercise caution when approaching."

"Ieyasu to Voicemail. Do you know how many there are?" Naomasa asked.

"Negative. They cut the cameras."

"Crap. That means we're going in blind. Okay we'll head over to assess the situation. Are there still civilians in the vicinity?" Naomasa continued.

"A few. Those uninjured by the explosion are fleeing while those who were closer are injured."

"Any casualties?" he pushed.

"Unclear."

"Shit!" Naomasa swore. "We'll head over anyway. Everyone we're going to divide into different groups. Hayato, Noir, Kaos, Nice Guy, Changeling, Lupin, Murasaki, Turbine will focus on evacuation. Ame and Mizu will focus on putting out the fires. Smile, Nyx, and Kunai will head in and observe for espionage but no engagement. Composer and Ray will spy from the outside with their quirks. The remainder of us will wait outside until the criminals make a move. Do not engage until we fully grasp what we're up against!"

Fifteen minutes later

All civilians had been evacuated along with those who were injured. Thankfully there were no deaths… so far.

From what they could gather there were at least twenty armed individuals inside all wearing domino masks, hoodies, and trousers. One or two had electricity quirks to deal with power-related issues while one possessed magnetism for opening safes. The leader wore a similar getup to his subordinates however he donned a designer suit with a mask comparable to Izuku's helmet that covered his entire head. Additionally, he carried a sceptre instead of a gun.

Mirio eyed them warily. Guns appeared to be their only weapons, but the bags already filled gave him other ideas.

Clang!

"Alright boys!" the leader announced his voice honeyed. "What's say we give our guests a warm welcome?"

Mirio and Edgeshot barely had time to react before they were pulled into Shadows quirk. The next thing they knew they were outside just in time for a bright explosion to go off inside.

"Report! What is going on?" Naomasa yelled through the comms.

"They noticed, somehow, and now I think they're going to introduce themselves properly," Edgeshot explained.

Just as he finished the doors burst open and several rockets followed out. Everyone scrambled to move out of the way.

BOOM!

One of the explosions sent Izuku and Stain toppling to the ground. They were forced to temporarily remove their masks to breathe properly. Kyoka fell from the loud noise and covered her ears as best she could. The others were only slightly luckier.

"Well, well, well. What have we here?" the leader announced. "Some heroes, police, kids, and even villains. Quite the little ensemble we've got here boys."

The leader's eyes loomed over each of them until his eyes finally locked on Izuku's and stayed there for what felt like an eternity. Without warning, the leader brought his sceptre down to the ground and pointed at Izuku.

"YOU!" he bellowed. "YOU QUIRKLESS SON OF A WHORE! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE!? WHY ARE YOU ALIVE!?"

Everyone present was taken aback by the sudden hostility he held towards Izuku. Well, all but two.

Izuku, having recognized his voice, glared with a ferocity he rarely displayed. "DIVIDER! YOU SLEAZY MOTHERFUCKER! WHY AREN'T JAIL!?"

"YOU FUCKING SNITCH! IT WAS YOU WHO TOLD THE COPS ABOUT ME!" Divider yelled. "YOU'RE FUCKIGN DEAD! YOU HEAR ME!? I LOST SO MUCH OF MY BUSINESS BECAUSE OF YOU! I DEMAND RECOMPENSE!"

Izuku flipped him the bird. "GO FUCK YOURSELF YOU RAPING SCUMBAG! THE ONLY THING YOU'LL BE GETTING FROM IS THAT STICK OF YOURS UP YOUR FUCKING ASS! YES, I TOLD THEM EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU! AND I'D DO IT AGAIN IF I COULD!"

"YOU SHITSTAINED QUIRKLESS BLIGHT! I AM GOING TO TAKE THIS STICK, AND BEAT YOU WITH IT BEFORE I STRIP YOU DOWN FULLY AND SLOWLY SHOVE UP THROUGH YOUR ASS UNTIL IT LEAVES YOUR MOUTH! ASS FOR ONE IS DEAD AND YOUR LEAGUE OF DICKS IS NOWHERE TO FOUND SAVE FOR THE CHUCKY RIPOFF YOU'VE GOT HERE!" Divider flipped him back.

Smoke was beginning to use from Dabi's hands as he glared at their foe. He had honestly forgotten this prick existed, if only because he had more important stuff to deal with.

"I DON'T NEED THEIR HELP TO BEAT YOUR PATHETIC ASS!" Izuku countered.

Nearly everyone was taken aback by Izuku's shift in personality. They had witnessed anger from him before, but this… this was sheer, unbridled hate.

Even Razor was stunned. She knew he hated Bakugo, but this person was on a whole other level. It wasn't someone she recognized either. At least, not from Hades.

"The Divider?" Knuckleduster recognized. "What's he doing in Naruhata?"

"You know him?" Razor asked.

"Only by reputation. The scumbag is a slaver like Shiro. Unlike him, he deals in sex slaves," Knuckleduster explained.

"I don't suppose Mikumo mentioned them in your interrogation, did he?" Gyges taunted.

"On the contrary, he told us everything about him," Reo countered. "From quirks to members to bases. Everything."

"We didn't even think of asking him. He just told us to make up for what he wouldn't say about the League," Naomasa remembered. "He was quite happy to tell us. A bit too happy, but the information proved true and helpful which led to a lot of arrests so we overlooked it."

"ENOUGH!" Divider shouted as he slammed his sceptre into the ground again unleashing a brilliant light that consumed everyone and everything.

Izuku could feel his size retracting as Divider's quirk took effect and the next he heard was the sound of gunshots while the next thing he saw were smoke bombs. There were blurs (Hawks feathers) and roaring (Dark Shadow).

Divider emerged from the smoke and glared down at Izuku who glared back.

"I came here for money, but I'll settle for revenge instead," he said softly as he raised his sceptre before bringing it down hard on Izuku's head.

Izuku's world went black.

Hi there! Well, what did you think of that?

I stuck with villains from Vigilantes because they aren't as big of a threat while still entertaining.

The next chapter will feature a bit of Izuku's past with the League while he and another attempt to deal with the present situation.

Now, I've decided that for 2025 I will be focusing solely on this story with a chapter or two dedicated to others (along with the odd one-shot) while also cancelling several other stories (I won't say which ones). The reason is that I want to get this story done, and because I hope to write other stories someday that aren't fanfiction. I recognize now that writing multiple stories at once is a bad idea and should never have done it in the first place. Still, I won't just cancel them like that. I will be leaving summaries of what I originally had planned so people who read them aren't left wondering.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this chapter. Happy New Year!
