Katsuhito led Harry, Ami, and Rei to the Sacred Tree at his shrine. He placed his hand on the trunk of tree and glowing lines appeared. The leaves started glowing shooting out beams of energy. Harry, Ami, and Rei were in awe at the sight.
"I will start with myself" said Katsuhito.
"I am Yosho" he said.
Harry's, Ami's, and Rei's eyes widen at that.
"How" asked Harry?
"I am not from Earth; I am from the planet Jurai, capital of the Juraian Empire" explained Katsuhito.
"We have very long lifespans thanks to our bio enhancements which are extended even longer when bonded to a tree" he continued waving a hand at the tree.
"I will have an extended lifespan" asked Harry?
"Yes" said Katsuhito nodding his head.
"You would have received all the enhancements that I have" he said.
"What about us" asked Ami?
"When Jurai shows up, you can receive the same enhancements that I have" explained Katsuhito.
"My mother is from ancient Japan and still looks youthful" he said.
"Why do you think they will show up now" asked Rei?
"Because Lady Tsunami is watching over Harry" said Katsuhito.
"She is a goddess that blessed Jurai a long time ago" he explained.
"They would investigate why her power is coming from here" asked Ami?
"Yes" said Katsuhito nodding his head.
"How did you get here" asked Harry?
"With Funaho" said Katsuhito waving at the tree.
Harry, Ami, and Rei looked confused at that.
"Lady Tsunami gifted Jurai trees born of her power" explained Katsuhito.
"When a Juraian reaches a certain age, they can try to bond to a tree" he continued.
"Those that do, have an extended life span, the tree becomes the core of their ship, and create a key to help control it" he finished.
Harry took out his wand and looked at it.
"Is that why she was surprised" asked Harry?
"Yes" said Katsuhito nodding his head.
"I was surprised as well" he said.
"I only brought the wood along since I figured your power would overload any regular wood" he added.
"Should we be worried about the wand maker recreating it" asked Harry?
"No" said Katsuhito shaking his head.
"I went back and made sure all the wood was used up and none was left" he said.
"Why are you still here" asked Rei?
"Remember the story that I told you about fighting the demon" asked Katsuhito?
All three of them nodded their heads.
"That was real" asked Harry?
"Yes" said Katsuhito nodding his head.
"My key is currently sealing her away" he said.
"When you are ready, you will claim it Harry" he said.
"Back to what we were talking about, what I told you was the end of the story" he said.
"It began when the demon attacked Jurai" he explained.
"I was able to fight it off and chased after her" he continued.
"The chase ended in orbit of Earth where we shot each other down and crashed landed here" he continued.
"Funaho took root to heal but in doing so cannot become a ship again" he finished.
Harry, Ami, and Rei stood there thinking about everything they were told.
Eventually, Harry said "It's similar to being a member of a magical race but more out there."
Rei nodded her head at that.
"It doesn't change who you are," said Ami.
"You took all that better than I thought" said Katsuhito.
"I take it that was the real reason you never told grandma," said Harry.
"Yes" said Katsuhito nodding his head.
"I did not even know of magic until I came back to Japan with you Harry" he said.
"Is there anything else" he asked?
"Do you think Lady Tsunami protected me back then as well" asked Harry?
Katsuhito thought about it for a few moments before saying "That does make sense."
"I have always wondered why your power protected you and your mothers didn't" he said.
"I thought it was because she didn't know about it, but this makes more sense" he said.
"What about my mother" asked Ami?
"And my grandfather" added Rei.
"I would like to wait before telling them" said Katsuhito.
"I would like to focus on training you for now" he said.
Ami and Rei nodded their heads at that.
The next day they started training. Harry, Ami, and Rei were sitting in front of Katsuhito.
"The focus of your training is controlling and growing proficient in using your power" said Katsuhito.
"It should also help with your magic" he added.
"Let me see your wand Harry" he said.
Harry took out his wand and gave it to Katsuhito. He took it and sent some of his power into it causing an energy blade to appear.
"This and barriers are what we will work on first" said Katsuhito.
"It looks like a lightsaber" exclaimed Ami.
"I guess it does" said Katsuhito looking at it.
"Maybe I could try to recreate the different lightsaber forms," said Harry.
"If you can cast spells with the blade out, you could replicate force powers with certain spells," said Ami.
"We should look into silent casting as well," said Rei.
"What is that" asked Harry?
"You know how the wand movements and incantations help you cast spells," said Rei.
Both Harry and Ami nodded their heads at that.
"If you get really good with a spell, you can cast it without saying anything," said Rei.
"Making it look like I am using the Force," said Harry.
Katsuhito smiled knowing he made the right choice including Ami and Rei in this.
Katsuhito guided Harry in finding and accessing his power. Ami and Rei tried it as well and to his surprise they both had a hidden power. Ami can create and control water, ice, and mist and Rei can create and control fire. When they first accessed their power glowing symbols appeared on their foreheads. A blue symbol appeared on Ami's forehead and a red symbol appeared on Rei's.
Katsuhito looked up those symbols and found out they were the symbols for Mercury and Mars.
"How could those planets be connected to their hidden power" thought Katsuhito.
He informed Harry, Ami, and Rei of this, which left them confused as well.
"What do you think that means" asked Ami?
"I do not know" said Katsuhito.
"Since they only briefly appeared the first time, I wouldn't worry about it for now" he said.
Once Harry was able to create a blade from his wand and keep it stable, they assessed if he could cast spells. He tried the levitation charm and it worked.
"It worked" cheered Ami.
"Now try one that fires something," said Rei.
Harry fired a stunning spell and it fired from the tip of the blade.
"You can cast any spell," said Ami.
"We should focus on spells that don't fire anything to keep the element of surprise," said Rei.
Both Harry and Ami nodded their heads at that.
Near the end of the summer, Katsuhito said "You are now proficient in using your power to defend yourself Harry."
"I want you to have this" he said holding out a wooden ring.
"A ring" said Harry taking it.
"Put it on and send some power into it" said Katsuhito.
Harry put the ring on his finger and sent some power into it. In a flash of light, he was now wearing a battle robe.
"That is a Juraian battle suit made from your power" said Katsuhito.
"You look like a Jedi now," said Ami.
"Let's see how well it works," said Rei taking out her wand.
Ami and Rei sent all kinds of spells at various parts of the battle suit. They found that the only weakness was his head and even that required them to overpower their spells for them to work.
"That was not fun" groaned Harry.
"Now you know you just have to duck," said Rei smiling.
Katsuhito finally decided to tell Saeko and Hiroshi the truth. Saeko fainted while Hiroshi just nodded his head.
"Mom" shouted Ami checking on her.
"That's more of what I expected" said Katsuhito.
"That's why you know so much history, you lived through it," said Hiroshi.
"That is what you took from all that" asked Katsuhito?
"It's the same as being from a magical race but more out there" said Hiroshi waving his hand.
"So that is where Rei got it from" said Katsuhito.
Saeko soon woke up and once past the initial shock, started asking questions the bio enhancements.
With their training over for the summer, they went to Akihabara to see what they had for Harry to carry his invisibility cloak in. They found pouches with expansion charms on them. They were also charmed not to feel the weight of what was inside. They each got one and got broomsticks to put in for emergencies. Harry also got a Commnication mirror to give to Susan.
At the end of the summer, Harry went to see the Dean. He went into their office and saw an auror was there.
"Welcome Mr. Potter," said the Dean.
"Why is an auror here" asked Harry?
"This is Captain Tanaka, head of the Auror department," said the Dean.
"It has to do with who was hired as the new DADA professor," he said.
"Gilderoy Lockhart" he said.
"What is so bad about him" asked Harry?
"He is a fraud and a thief," said Tanaka.
"When his entire book list appeared on the book list, we investigated him," said the Dean.
"We found out he is being investigated for plagiarism," said Tanaka.
"There is evidence that he stole the achievements of others and obviated them of it" he continued.
"He took the job at Hogwarts before they could move in on him" he finished.
"You think he took the job to avoid that" asked Harry?
"Yes" said Tanaka nodding his head.
"Be extremely wary of him" he said.
"I will," said Harry.
"Call for Suzaku if anything happens," said the Dean.
"Yes" said Harry nodding his head.
