This originally came from what I wrote as my English final. So. Yeah. *thumbs up* Enjoy!

Wu sighed. Yesterday, it was revealed that Morro was not the Green Ninja. Yesterday, Morro had set out to find the First Spinjitzu Master's Tomb, to prove he was worthy of being the Green Ninja.

The man was worried. Morro was just 11. True, he had lived on the streets for years before joining him, but still. He was worried.

The next day, when his student still had not returned, Wu decided to look for him. He quickly walked down the many steps that lead down to the village.

"Excuse me, sir," He said, tapping a man's shoulder. "But have you seen a little boy walking around here? With a green belt and a bag?"

The man nodded. "Yeah, he came by here a few days ago."

Hope filled Wu. "Is he still here?"

"No," The man replied, shaking his head. "He went east."

"Thank you, sir." The Sensei said, before turning and heading towards the rising sun.

XXXXXXXXXX

"Morro?"

Wu had been walking around the forest for about an hour now, with no sign of his student.

After a few more minutes, he began to wonder if the man had been mistaken. But then he heard a scream. A scream that sounded very familiar.

"Morro!" He cried, running towards it.

As he got closer, he saw his young student was being chased by a large grundle.

With a sigh, Wu grabbed a length of rope from his belt and hastily tied it to a tree branch. He gripped the rope in his hand tightly, before swinging over the grundle.

The Sensei grabbed Morro just as the grundle's jaws would've snatched him up.

The two skillfully landed on the thick branch their rope was tied around. Wu turned and was about to scold his student for being so reckless, but Morro spoke first.

"You see, Sensei? It was destiny for you to save me! I can still be the Green Ninja!"

Wu turned his head away. It was at that moment he learned something. He could not teach those who would not listen.

"You'll see," Morro spat, his features stormy. "I will find the First Spinjutzu Master's Tomb."

"No, Morro, it's too dangerous." Wu insisted, reaching towards his student.

The boy pulled away. "I know I'm the Green Ninja, Sensei, I can feel it!" As he said this, the wind began to pick up, signaling Morro's frustration. He said something else, but Wu couldn't hear it over the wind.

Then, he jumped off the tree, using his powers to soften his landing.

"Wait!" Wu called as his student started to run. "Morro!"

But Morro didn't stop. He didn't look back. He just kept running into the wind.
