It was the weekend of Nora's sixteenth being held at the local community centre. When Angela said she was going to take care of everything she truly meant it. She was able to hire the community centre without paying a cent due to the fact Leah and Seth's parents were the ones who ran it, she was able to get all the food catered by Emily and Kim, with Jacob being the local dj in his spare time that was also sorted. The theme was fairy garden vibes; she was able to get a lot of decor done handmade with the help of the girls and children.
They had the sign painted with Nora's name and flowers going around her name with fairies around it, Leah was a surprise to the team as she painting talents came out and she was able to do a lot of the painting projects. When you walked into the door you walked into a second door that was painted to be two wooden door that you would find in a fairy garden. Nora was very specific she didn't want a childish fairy party she wanted an aesthetic one, the ones you would see on Pinterest or Instagram the ones with the soft colours and where everything just flowed.
When you entered the doors the room was set up with cocktail furniture and the ceiling was draped with white,green and purple silk like material that made the room dreamy, there was also Russian sage hanging from the ceilings that gave it that extra touch. the cocktail tables had tea light candles in wooden coasters that the boys had made. On one side of the room there was the buffet with a selection of sandwiches, hot food such as hot dogs, sliders, even a pasta station cause Nora loved pasta, there was pizza and a bunch of grazing food. There was also a dessert station that would stocked up once the party began which was happening in about ten minutes.
On the other side there was a 'make your own fairy wing' station and they had hired a face painter for the day who also did glitter paint. The setting was perfect as Angela checked to make sure the room was ready and guests were in before the Lahote family arrived. Everyone was looking amazing in their fairy outfits and dreamy, Angela was nervous and excited to see their reactions especially Nora's, it had been hard for them to process the news but she was hoping this day would make them feel normal for the day.

Nora felt like a princess, one of her birthday gift's from her parents was this beautiful dress from a local designer it was a flowy sage green dress with butterflies engraved at the top, it went to just above her knee and the sleeves were elvin like and flowy. Her hair was mermaid curled and styled with two pigtails on the top with butterfly clips in the back, her makeup was minimal as Bella still thought she was too young for a whole face of makeup which was okay with Nora since she was never really a makeup girl.
They were currently in a limousine that Angela had hired for them which took them for a drive around the reservation, with snacks and mock tails that were shimmery, Nora had her parents and brothers with her as well as three of her best friends April who was Jacob and Jessica's eldest daughter, Lyka who was the eldest and only son of Sam and Emily and Dakota who was Jared and Kim's eldest daughter.
The teens were giggling as they pulled up to the centre. "Ready Nora bear?" April said enthusiastically she had been so excited for Nora to turn sixteen as she was the youngest out of the four.
"So ready" She beamed as they all hopped out one by one, with Bella and Paul behind them along with the twins.
As soon as the doors opened and Nora processed the room she started to cry, it was everything she had imagined and beyond, even Bella and Paul were teary eyed.
"Angela you have outdone yourself"Bella whispered into her best friends ear as she greeted them.
"Anything for my favourite family" Angela replied back with a smile on her face, the only thing she wanted to achieve today was that the Lahote family felt nothing but happiness today, if she couldn't cure the horrible illness at least she could make them happy even if it was for a day.
As the celebrations started the room was filled with all the people Nora loved, honestly it was mainly the old and new wolf pack with all their kids and partners. Even Claire and Quill had made it for the celebrations with cutting their trip short so they could spend time with Bella and her family.
Nora went to her mum and gave her a hug.
"Best birthday ever?" Bella asked Nora while giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Beyond"Nora gushed as she squeezed her mom, then ran off to her friends.

It was time for cake, and it was one of the most magnificent cakes Bella had ever laid her eyes on, it was a 3 tier cake frosted with butter cream which resembled a log on the bottom layer which had a little red door and green icing that resembled moss, on the second layer was butterflies in all colours going around the cake with the second layer just being a creamy colour and then the top layer was green icing, with a fairy figurine that looked like Nora and little mouse around with butterflies sticking out and the numbers 16, it was truly magical.
"It's cake time" Paul boomed as he gathered everyone around for the cake.
The room started to sing 'happy birthday' as Nora stood around her cake in adoration, she blew out her candles and made a small speech. The party went back to the music that Jacob was pumping and everyone started dancing. Lyka was busting his moves making the girls giggle, Sam joining in with his son as they started doing the worm and some weird dance moves, that made Emily roll her eyes however giggling.
Bella stood in the back hugging Paul as they watched their newly sixteen year old party with her friends.
"This is perfect" Paul whispered into his wife's ear
"Absolutely"Bella whispered back with a big smile on her face, if this is how she was going to be spending the last few months of her life then she couldn't have asked for anything better.
