27It has been a long time and I'm sorry for how short this chapter but given what Percy and Estelle have done, I'm pretty sure the Evicted episode has been neutralized, so I can't really have Percy do anything on the side for that episode. So, let's get started
I don't own Percy Jackson or Adventure time.
"You're..." Finn started.
"...moving..." said Estelle
"...in..." said Jake
"...with..." said Marceline.
"ICE KING?!/SIMON?!" all four of them shouted at the same time.
"Yes," said Percy.
"What the dip are you think man?!" shouted Finn.
"Yeah dude, did that time tunnel make you insane?!" shouted Jake.
"I know it's shocking," said Percy, "But I have too."
"We can get you a bed!" said Estelle beggingly.
"It's not that," said Percy.
"Then what is it?!" shouted Marceline, "Estelle just got you back and now you want to leave?!"
Percy looked solemn and said, "Because Athena begged me to."
Everyone paused until Finn said, "What?"
"Yeah, I was surprised as well," said Percy.
(Flashback)
"You want me to what?!" asked Percy in surprise.
"Please, look out for my son!" said Athena pleadingly.
"Mom, I don't need a babysitter!" said Ice King stamping his feet, "I'm not a baby!"
'That's up for debate, thought Percy to himself.
"See what I mean?" asked Athena.
"Mom!" complained Ice King.
"Okay, I guess I can come check on him every now and then and make he is not kidnapping princesses," Percy said before Athena interrupted with a, "SIMON!"
"But mom, they love me!" shouted Ice King.
"No, at the point you need to be supervised 24/7!" said Athena, "You put that boy and his dog through enough!"
"But mom-" begged Ice King before Athena shouted, "End of discussion!"
"I hate you!" shouted Ice king and ran out of the room crying.
Athena sighs in exhaustion and looks at Percy Jackson before saying, "I actually need you to move in with him."
Percy paused for a moment then asked, "What?"
"I'm asking you to move in with my son," said Athena, "Please."
"Why should I?" asked Percy folding his arms and glaring at Athena, "Why should I help the woman who hated my relationship with her-"
What happened next shocked Percy to his core. Athena got down on her hands and knees and even lowered her head, bowing towards him. Percy even knew he heard weeping coming from Athena.
"Please, he is the last of my children," pleaded Athena, "After Simon became Ice King I couldn't stand the thought of this happening to children again, so I swore to keep my oath and not use my loophole again. But that law Zeus has still keeps from doing anything to help him fully other then check on him. Please Percy Jackson. I have no more pride left to give in these millenniums that have passed."
Percy was quiet for a moment then said, "Okay."
(End of Flashback)
Everyone went wide eyed at what Percy had just explained and Jake could say was, "Wow, dude."
"Oh zang," said Finn quietly.
"Whoa," said Marceline not believing it, "It looks like all these millenniums have really culled her hubris."
"Yeah," said Percy, "So now do you see why I have to do it?"
"Yes, I understand," said Estelle sadly.
"At least let us help you get settled in," said Finn.
"Thanks guys," said Percy with a smile.
(Ice Kingdom)
In a new room that the Ice King made, and was now grumbling in the corner, a new bad was made and unlike everything else in the Ice Kingdom it was a real bed. Marceline and Estelle posters also decorated the room and even other furniture that was not made of ice, even the books of his series decorated a shelf
"This looks pretty good," said Percy.
"Glad you like it," said Finn, "But are you sure..."
"Yes," said Percy.
"Okay, if you're sure dude," said Jake.
"I'm not," said Percy, "But Athena practically begged me and given her hubris I have to do this."
"For her or Annabeth?" asked Estelle.
"Yes," said Percy.
"To which part?" asked Marceline confused.
"Yes," said Percy again.
"Okay, now everybody out," said Ice King.
Everyone takes off as Percy hears Estelle whispers, "Goodbye Simon."
"Oh, hey Percy," said Finn, "Would you be able to come and train me tomorrow?"
"Sure," said Percy.
And with that everyone left leaving Percy alone with Ice King who was pouting in the corner. It was quiet for a moment until Percy asked him how long he was going to act like a baby.
"Until mom realizes I can look after myself," said Ice King.
"This coming from the insane blue man who kidnaps princesses?" said Percy with a deadpan.
"Hey!" said Ice King standing up and pointing at Percy, "Just because you can control water doesn't mean you get to call me 'blue man' man!"
"Why?" asked Percy tauntingly, "Upset that the band wouldn't take you in?"
Ice king growled and said, "First of all that joke died several thousand years ago, second just because you are the favorites boyfriend doesn't mean you can talk to me like this!"
"The favorite?" asked Percy.
"What, you forgot your own girlfriend already?" asked Ice King now being the taunting on, "I get that your surrounded by woman now but that was fast."
But Percy softly asked, "She still talks about her?"
"Of course she does," said Ice King deadpanned and little sad, "Annie this and Annie that. Even back before she was always comparing me to Big sis Annie, no matter what I did I could never live up to her."
Percy walked up and said, "Sorry about that, it's always been Athena's expectation that her kids make something great."
"Yeah, no matter what I do I can never measure up to her," said Ice King sadly, "And you want to know the worst part is?"
"What?" asked Percy.
"I wish I got to know her, she would have been a great big sister," said Ice King as Percy looked in shock, "From what the books showed she had an ego the size of mother and yet she was still a good person deep down."
Percy continued to listen and for awhile he could have sworn Ice King's eyes lost their crazy as he continued to talk, "And when you with her you both brought the best in each other to the point where she felt if you two broke up she wouldn't even be able to look at the ocean without crying."
Percy felt himself start to tear up as 'Simon' asked, "Say Percy...do you think it's possible to miss someone you didn't actually know?"
Percy hugged Simon right then and there and tears started to form in his eyes as well as Simon's they both teared up and soon a bunch of penguins started to come around them and give them a hug...only for the moment to be ruined when Ice king said, "Wait a minute!"
"What?" asked Percy composing himself.
"Where did you get the furniture?" asked Ice King pointing to Percy's room, "I had nothing like this, how could you have gotten it?"
"Ummm..." Percy stated.
(Flashback)
"How are these things alive!" shouted Percy as he was fighting a dresser alongside Estelle.
"Someone magically cursed them!" said Finn fighting against a bed alongside Jake and Marceline.
"And this is the only way to get free furniture!" said Percy using water to launch the dresser back and it stopped moving and stood still...though soaked now.
"There is not," said Marceline kicking the bed against a tree damaging it but it stopped moving, "At least none that are close."
"How about not damaging them too much!" said Jake trying to restrain a dresser.
(Flashback end)
"I went furniture hunting?" Percy said uncertainly.
Ice king was quiet for a moment then said, "Oh that makes sense, well I'm going to go continue grumbling and let you get settled in."
Ice King marches off grumbling leaving Percy alone in his new room, he sighs to himself and grabs the lightning thief and does something his friends from the past never thought he would do...read.
"'Look I don't want to be a Demigod'" said Percy as he began to read before deadpanning, "Ain't that the truth."
There we go all done, so yeah while short this is the episode that will replace Evicted, I hope this was an okay read for everyone even though this is probably the shortest story chapter I have ever written, not counting the snippet chapters of Prank Wars. Still I hope this is well for you all.
