1,131Author's Update.
So... yeah...
I have no excuse for not writing this story or posting new chapters and stuff. I let my imagination for other stories take over and I just pushed this story to the back and more or less forgot about it. That being said, I want to make it up to all the readers of both Godly Demon and Slayer's Return. I'm gonna go back to these stories but I have a slight change. I'm gonna rewrite some details, change some plot points and stuff. For example, I'm gonna remove the part where Kyrie died, so she will still be around. So Saeko is out, or I may have her appear but as more of Trish role. Nero will also be more like his DMC 5 part, a little more friendly, but I will have him not put up with the Gods BS and stuff. I'm also gonna include other pantheons in the story, things like the Norse Gods, Egyptian, etc. I'll also make some other changes you all think are needed.
I do want to apologize for more or less abandoning this story. That wasn't fair to the readers who really liked it. Hopefully, this rewrite will be better and it will also serve as a way for me to get back into writing for this series. In any case, I hope you all forgive me for hanging you guys out to dry for so long.
If there is anything specific you all want to see, just let me know.

I'm really glad so many people are supporting a rewrite, lord knows that some parts of the story need it. However, I do want to ask about certain things, like how to handle specific events. I still want Nero to go to Camp Half-Blood, but I can't really think of way to justify how he would get there. I also know that the "poisoned arrow tips and taking down Nero" weren't super well received. That being said, I would love to hear some alternatives to something like that. I could really use the help with that.
Also, I do plan on including elements from God of War series, Bayonetta, and other stuff like that. So, we might see a certain Celtic Fae, a Vanir Goddess, some Aesir Gods, a pair of Dwarves, some Umbran Witches, a one eyed squirrel, a Giant Snake, and some other unique characters.
Im gonna take the moment to respond to some early reviews.
I do intend on making Nero a bit softer and less harsh when it comes to Hestia. However, I do plan to have him take issue with how the Olympians treat their kids, especially given his own history of being orphaned.
I'm also gonna amend my decision regarding Saeko. I do think I'll pair Nero with her, and just have Kyrie serve as Nero's step sister. I do plan on making it clear that he will do anything for his family, so he'll still love Kyrie to the ends of the earth, but I think I'll keep the original pairing.
I don't think I can properly do the Hestia pregnancy and breaking her vow. Might be too complicated to do and I don't trust my skills as a writer to do it properly. I may end up trying, or at the very least have Hestia struggle with her decision to give up Nero, how she regretted doing so.
I also plan on keeping Excelsus as the main villain, along with the other demons that help him. That will remain in the story. I'll also change how Chronos is handled, I won't bring him out of Tartarus, but rather have Hestia go to Tartarus, or the very edge of it to speak to her father about his deal with Mundus.
