Chapter 54 – Destruction and Resolution

Multiple of the floating magical screens atop the King's Hall began to turn orange or red and flash one after another. Lucy, Hibiki, Eve, and Ren all looked around at the various screens that were scattered about, wondering what was going on.

"They're reporting damage." Eve managed to look at one of the red screens. "A lot of damage…"

Ren looked at an orange screen for a second. "This is only surface-level damage…so orange is mild and red is heavy?"

Boom

A distant explosion was heard and two of the orange screens, including the one that Ren was looking at, turned red and started to flash.

"Then let's hope all of these screens turn red before we get to Cait Shelter." Hibiki said as he kept track of the six Mages heading for the massive Lacrimas around Nirvana. He had to guide them and make sure that they destroyed each Lacrima simultaneously. 'If we fail to stop Nirvana…' Hibiki shook his head once, not wanting to even imagine how bad things would get with the ancient Hyper-Reversal Magic roaming freely.

"I wish I could do more." Lucy said under her breath as she watched a few more of the screens turn red and start flashing. Unfortunately, summoning so many Golden Key Spirits, on top of using up most of her Magic Power, had left Lucy drained, even after eating some light to help replenish her reserves. She'd stretched herself to the point of almost collapsing fighting Angel and Naked Mummy alone and it would take her some time to recover. "I'm going to get stronger." Lucy swore to herself as she inhaled, drawing in motes of light from the fading daylight as the sun was heading for the horizon.

-Nirvana ~ City Ruins-

"FRACTURE!" Cana's hands shone with nearly blinding white light as she hit the ground with one of the most powerful spells of Crash Magic.

The ground, buildings, and everything around was superimposed with white lines similar to glass breaking for a fraction of a second. With a resounding crack, the superimposed fracture became reality.

BOOM

Everything shattered instantly into fragments and debris, dust flew through the air in large clouds as the buildings fell to nothing, the stone ground was reduced to pebbles, and floor after subterranean floor suffered the same fate as the powerful spell spread its effects with all of the force of Cana's power backing it.

On the opposite side of Nirvana from Cana's location, Mira flapped her demonic wings as she stayed even with the moving city below. Focusing on her Magic she held her hands together, palms facing each other, and poured in a ton of her remaining Magic power. A massive orb of pure Darkness Magic formed between Mira's hands and rapidly expanded until it was larger than Mira was tall and still growing. More and more power made the sphere of darkness grow before it shrank down as Mira compressed it into a smaller and smaller point. "Soul Extinction!"

With a roar, a blast of Darkness Magic was unleashed upon Nirvana. The wind howled and shook with gale force currents, the stone buildings vanished into the blackness, and even the ground was swallowed up. The all-consuming spell passed through floor after floor of the ancient city's subterranean levels until the bottom of Nirvana exploded outwards in one small area, sending dust and debris falling towards the forest below.

Erza saw the two spells unleashed by her Dragon Sisters and felt Nirvana shake from the force it was hit with. The Ancient Magic slowed its movement, clearly keeping its six legs in contact with the ground for longer with each step as it drew in magical energy from the earth to begin repairing itself. The decrease in speed was exactly what Erza was waiting for as the stone of Nirvana began to tremble and be drawn towards her as her Magic Power swelled. Every pebble, stone, and bit of grit anywhere close to Erza in the ruined city began to float into the air and gather above her. A titanic sword of stone with a jagged edge formed quickly, an aura of grey, brown, and green Magic Power emanating from within the construct and surrounding it.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Tectonic Movement!" Erza roared out as she leapt off the side of Nirvana with her massive weapon held over her head. "Continent Cleaver!" She swung the immense weapon, looking like something befitting a giant (or a dragon), and brought the stone blade down on the huge stone leg of Nirvana.

There was no sound.

BOOM

And then there was.

The force of Erza's swing had cleanly severed Nirvana's leg. The two pieces of stone shattered as they came apart, more and more of the millions upon millions of bricks that made up the Ancient Magic coming apart or crumbling to dust as the force of the spell meant to slay a dragon reverberated through the compatible medium. Earth Magic tore apart earth…which all of the ancient bricks were made of…sending shockwaves throughout the severed leg, destroying it even further as it fell to the forest floor far below.

Through the massive cloud of dust and debris that was falling to the earth, Erza watched on, a sword stabbed into the edge of Nirvana keeping her from falling down into the forest along with Nirvana's leg. "That…will hopefully stop Nirvana…for a time." She breathed out, having put as much of her Magic Power as possible behind her Secret Art. With a bit of focus, Erza slowed some of the falling rubble that Nirvana was losing with her Magic, giving her a second or two to use the falling stones as footholds and make her way back up to the top of the ancient city and flat ground.

-King's Hall-

"What the hell?!" Ren couldn't help but let the outburst slip through his normal 'tsundere' persona. The entire city was shaking! Two massive blasts had gone off on either side of Nirvana, one right after the other. Now the city came to a shuddering stop entirely while shaking as if an earthquake was happening.

Eve managed to keep his feet under him by spreading his arms wide to help with his balance. "I see why Fairy Tail has the reputation that they do now!"

"That's mostly Natsu…" Lucy said as she steadied herself from where she'd nearly fallen over. "But yeah." She grinned at the Tri-Men, showing off one of her fangs.

Hibiki didn't comment on the destruction, he was very pleased with it, in fact, but he did see almost a third of the yellow screens floating in the air suddenly turn red and start flashing all at once. "That's exactly what we need right now."

-Subterranean Corridors-

"What the hell?! Are they trying to kill us?!" Gray held onto the wall as Nirvana shook and rumbled. "At least let us all get to the Lacrima before you bring the entire city down on us!" He quickly picked up his pace when the shaking died down.

In another part of the corridors below the ancient city, Wendy was much the same as Carla flew her along at a careful speed.

"Did…did it stop?" Wendy asked Carla, looking around at the dust and small rubble that had fallen to the floor after all the shaking.

"Are they insane?!" Carla demanded, aggravated by the danger that she and Wendy could've been in. "They're liable to bury us all at this rate!"

Wendy freed herself from Carla's grip and landed on the stone floor. When she didn't feel the sudden powerful urge to vomit like she normally would, the Sky Dragon Slayer smiled brightly. "It stopped! They stopped Nirvana from moving!" Wendy was thrilled that the others had managed to buy her Guild more time. "Let's go, Carla!" She didn't wait for a response, rushing down the corridor as fast as she could.

Carla blinked, not even having time to appreciate the fact that Cait Shelter had a bit more time now, before she quickly flew after Wendy. "Wait for me, Wendy!" In the back of her mind, Carla had to wonder where the reserved and timid child that Wendy used to be had gone over the last few years.

On the far side of Nirvana's subterranean levels, Ichiya uncovered his head and glanced around. "What manner of turmoil are they causing up there?" He stood up, brushing off his white suit as best as he could, the garment now smudged with dirt and dust. "Meeeen~" His sparkles were noticeably dimmer as he jogged onward as best as he could. "They're counting on me! I mustn't betray their trust!" Ichiya panted out, sweat falling down his forehead and face from all of the physical exertions of the day.

In the corridor to the right of the one Ichiya was traveling through, Lisanna steadied herself as the shaking died down. "That seems about right for Mira, Erza, and Cana…" She nodded at the amount of shaking that Nirvana had experienced. With a kick off the ground, Lisanna rushed forward even faster. "It's not too much further according to the map." Once everyone reached the Lacrima, they could destroy them and put an end to Nirvana for good.

Gajeel looked up as the dust and grit fell from the ceiling as he continued to head for the Lacrima he'd been assigned. "Do we even need to destroy these Lacrima if they bring down the whole thing first?" The Iron Dragon Slayer wondered to himself as he sniffed the air, smelling a scent vaguely reminiscent of the huge Lacrima that had powered Jose's Jupiter Cannon back in the old Phantom Lord Guild Hall. "I'm close." Gajeel smirked as his slitted red eyes narrowed and he picked up his pace.

"Juvia is amazed by her family…" Juvia said as she blinked and saw the small cracks that had appeared on the wall of the corridor that she was moving through. She knew of their power, of course, but seeing it applied on such a large scale was always eye opening. "Juvia should hurry!" She sped up, wanting to do her part for the mission.

-Natsu and Zero-

"What're they doing to Nirvana?!" Zero growled as he saw the massive clouds of dust in the air from multiple points around the Ancient Magic that both he and Brain had desired for so long. "How did they stop it?!" He no longer felt the mild rocking and shaking of the city as it moved beneath his feet.

"Heh!" Natsu smirked at Zero, steam coming off the stone ground from every one of his steps, a black footprint left behind letting off wispy smoke as he walked.

Zero glared at Natsu with his red eyes and tiny black pupils. "What're you smirking about? Dumb brat."

Natsu only grinned, showing off his fangs. "You or this ruin, let's see which breaks first!" He blasted forward, his fist erupting into a blast of lava as he swung it at Zero's face.

Zero ducked below the punch, letting the molten earth fly through the air above his head. His eyes followed Natsu's movement as the Magma Dragon Slayer pivoted on one foot, letting his force carry him into a full rotation, before his foot exploded into more lava as a kick came straight at Zero's crouched form. The Guild Master of Oración Seis blurred backwards as he backstepped, the kick going wide. "Dark Capriccio!" He pointed his index and middle finger at Natsu and the spiraling beam of Penetration Magic was in the Dragon Slayer's guard in a blink.

Natsu dodged to the side, the spell missing him by a handful of centimeters and punching a hole straight through the stone wall of one of the buildings behind him. He launched himself forward, looking to hit Zero with a blast of lava, but stopped when the ground directly in front of him cracked and the same Dark Capriccio nearly hit him in the face.

"Don't think that I'm at the same low level as Brain." Zero said as he held his right hand out, clearly controlling his spell remotely as the spiraling beam of Penetration Magic curved through the air and came back at Natsu again.

"Ngh!" Natsu dodged again, only to pivot to avoid the spell as it turned at an almost forty-five degree angle to come at him again. The Dark Capriccio swerved around again and again, keeping Natsu on the move as Zero freely controlled it.

"Hahahahahaha! Which one of us will break?!" Zero laughed maniacally as he kept striking at Natsu over and over again with his advanced control over his spell. "You're the one to break, of course!"

Natsu exhaled thick black smoke from his mouth as the Dark Capriccio came at him again. "Magma Dragon's Erupting Fist!" His fist exploded like a volcano as he threw it forward at the incoming spell.

The veritable wall of lava consumed the Dark Capriccio, even as the Penetration Magic tried to drill through it. In only a few seconds the spiraling spell was crushed and burned to nothing, consumed by the torrent of lava that continued onwards and left a glowing hot trail of melted stone in its path.

"You managed to stop Penetration Magic…interesting." Zero said, having watched the entire interaction between the two spells.

"The power of a Magma Dragon destroys everything in its path, including other forms of Magic." Natsu stated as he inhaled deeply. "Magma Dragon's Roar!" He threw his head forward and blasted a river of destruction straight at Zero.

Zero moved, nearly a blur with his strength and the many Magics at his disposal. "Too slow!" His eyes widened a little as a memory from Brain came to the forefront of his mind. Sure enough, Natsu turned his head while still expelling the molten death laying waste to everything around them as he attempted to hit the fast-moving Zero. "Dark Gravity!" Zero roared and slammed his hand down in Natsu's direction. The air around Natsu darkened and he locked his body to prevent being flattened, the ground cracking under his feet from the pressure. Briefly looking around, Zero nearly cursed upon seeing how much of Nirvana was now just molten rock pooling everywhere. "Fall!" He dumped more Magic Power into his spell and the ground gave way, sending Natsu plummeting below into the subterranean levels.

RMMMMBBBBLLLEEEE

The area shook before Zero realized what was about to happen and his form blurred as he got as far away as he could with his greatest speed.

BOOM

The ground erupted, multiple geysers of lava punching straight through stone and destroying more of Nirvana's surface. Natsu leapt from one of the geysers, landing in the flowing lava as if it was water, splashing the molten rock over himself and not even noticing. Locking onto Zero, Natsu opened his mouth, lava gathering into a sphere and growing rapidly, only to shrink and compress as a wave of fire passed over it, the process repeated three more times in rapid succession before the spell was launched. "Magma Dragon's Cataclysmic Eruption Fang!"

Zero's eyes widened, everything within his mind all the way down to his most primal of instincts screaming at him to move. The leader of Oración Seis blurred to the side, and kept moving, clearing the large pool of slowly spreading lava with a bit of help from minor Enhancement Magic.

The condensed beam of lava cut through the street, continued down the length of open space, cleanly cut straight through every building in its path, and then burned a thin, brightly glowing line all the way up the side of one of the mountain ridges that had been made into a high road. For just an instant, nothing happened. Then the brightly glowing line exploded.

BOOOOOMMM

The entire street, every building, and even the mountain ridge vanished in the explosion; rock and lava rained down over a wide area and Zero glowed slightly as he pushed his Enhancement Magic to the limit to dodge the falling debris. "What kind of Magic is this?!"

"Magma Dragon's Claw!" Natsu tore through the thick smoke filling the air, his hands both glowing with bubbling hot lava. Zero dropped into a crouch to dodge and the two claws cut through the wall of the building that Zero had been standing next to like paper.

"Dark Delete!" Zero slammed both of his palms into Natsu's stomach and unleashed a barrage of the dark green bolts of Magic, launching the Magma Dragon Slayer away. The psychotic Dark Mage didn't let up, continuing to blast the area that Natsu had landed with more and more bolts of Magic. He was forced to stop his assault when the ever-spreading lava pool got too close to him. Zero leapt upwards, landing on the roof of the building, and grimaced at the destruction that had been done to Nirvana. Everything before his eyes was molten lava, most of the buildings were gone, and those that weren't were slowly sinking into the boiling lava as they melted from the insane heat. Zero flinched just slightly as he looked at his palms, the flesh red and blistered from just the brief contact he'd had with Natsu's body.

The smoke from Zero's barrage of Dark Delete spells was blasted away as Natsu flexed his Magic Power. Aside from his clothing being damaged and a few bruises here and there on his skin, the Magma Dragon Slayer didn't appear injured. "You're stronger than you look." Natsu walked through the lava towards Zero, flames leaping from his body occasionally. "But I can still keep going."

"You irritate me!" Zero growled at Natsu, not liking the role reversal of being the one in danger of being destroyed. "I can't let you continue to destroy Nirvana, so I'll finish you off now and then go destroy the others before they can make it to the Lacrima." He revealed that he knew the Allied Mages' plan and had been listening in on Hibiki's Telepathy Magic.

Natsu stopped as Zero's Magic Power grew more twisted and wrong to his senses. The amount of power spiked as well, seemingly drawing from a different source to continue to fuel Zero's spells. "You dare to threaten my Mates right in front of me?" Natsu's amber eyes glowed as the slitted pupils nearly burned into Zero's red eyes.

"I'll remember you as one of the greatest things that I've ever destroyed." Zero promised Natsu with a mocking smirk as he moved his hands into a set position, his right hand at his waist and his left arm raised into the air, the arm bent so that his hand rested above his head. "I'll give you the best of nothingness. This is my greatest Magic!" Both of his hands exploded into thick darkness that seemed to scream with the wailing agony of hundreds, if not thousands of people. The darkness left trails behind it, swirling through the air as Zero moved his hands. "Vanish into the depths of nothingness! GENESIS ZERO!"

From the swirling darkness dozens of black humanoid spirits emerged, then hundreds, and then thousands, a wave of darkness and shrieking spirits engulfed everything in front of Zero in seconds. The range of the spell was enormous, covering half the pool of lava that covered the area of Nirvana that Natsu and Zero had been fighting in. Natsu flared his own Magic Power and burst into flames and lava as the spirits of darkness engulfed him.

"Open… Portal of the Demon's Wail! Oh, travelers of nothingness! Eat that man's soul! Eat his memory! Eat his very existence!" Zero chanted, pouring more and more Magic into his spell, increasing the number of wailing spirits by the hundreds. "In the name of Zero! BE GONE!"

Natsu growled as he was swept off his feet by the thousands and thousands of spirits. He felt their clawed hands grab and scratch at him, felt their teeth trying to sink into him as more and more bit him. His Magic was consumed, even as it destroyed dozens of the darkness spirits. Seeing the situation, Natsu's amber eyes burned with inner fire and looked like molten pools of magma as they glowed.

Zero had a demented smile on his face as he watched the area in front of him be consumed by his greatest spell. It had been so long since he'd gotten to use it on something! His sadistic and hateful mind relished the agony it caused his victims as they were destroyed absolutely.

"Magma Drive."

Natsu's voice seemed to resound through the air, even over the shrieking and wailing of the thousands of spirits of Zero's spell.

Zero felt his heart drop into his stomach like a cold lead weight.

Flames burst from the screaming mass of spirits. The darkness was banished instantly by a molten yellow and orange glow. The spirits burnt away to nothing or were frozen in place as they were encased in pyroclastic ashes. Natsu took a step forward as more and more of Zero's spell burned away. His eyes focused on Zero as an immense aura of Magic Power surrounded him, any of the wailing spirits that touched it instantly vanishing.

"What?" Zero could only look on in shock and disbelief as Natsu walked towards him through the burning remains of his greatest Magic. Sweat rolled down Zero's face and the psychopath didn't even realize that his entire body was shaking. In his eyes he saw the silhouette of a dragon behind Natsu, the great creature's talons impacting the molten ground at the same time as Natsu's foot. Unbidden a memory from Brain's years of extensive research brought a line from a near ancient text to Zero's mind.

"To slay a dragon, a Dragon Slayer takes on the properties and power of a dragon. Thus they become Dragons in Human skin."

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Hidden Volcano Form – Devitrification Blade!" Natsu's hands moved and the air around them shone with refracted light as molten volcanic glass formed. In the time it took to blink, Natsu blasted across the space separating him from Zero and was past the Master of Oración Seis with both arms thrust forward and encased in what looked to be quartz crystal, forming a large lance-like blade.

Zero felt nothing, he couldn't move, his mind was only just now processing that Natsu had moved at all. His world faded to blackness without him understanding why.

Anyone that was watching from a distance would see the results of Natsu's spell though. Watching as Zero's clothing turned into super-fine powdery ash instantly. His white hair burned away in less than the time it took to blink. His flesh charred and carbonized down to the bone in the next blink of the eye. Only for the body, except for the gaping hole missing from the left side along with Zero's left arm, to then turn from blackish carbon into a dark glassy material and then sprout crystalline fragments all over, leaving a vaguely humanoid cluster of crystals behind.

Natsu's Magma Drive continued to output immense amounts of heat as he slowly moved his arms apart and the quartz crystal shattered and fell into tiny fragments on the molten ground. With the boost from his Drive, Natsu was slowly sinking into the ground as it liquified beneath his feet. Stepping away from the area, every step made the lava bubble and boil and Natsu didn't even look back when he heard the remains of Zero shatter from the temperature difference.

"Woooo…" Natsu exhaled slowly as he ended his Magma Drive. Smoke and a bit of steam poured off his body before the temperature evened out again and Natsu was mostly back to normal.

Looking around at the devastation he'd caused, Natsu was reassured that he'd made the right choice using the Hidden Volcano Form over his Pyroclastic Obsidian Blade. The area was already almost nothing more than a lava bed now, causing more widespread destruction with the pyroclastic flow might've put the others at risk. The Devitrification Blade spell was a pinpoint attack meant to pierce a Dragon's scales and destroy them from the inside out, turning their very flesh into carbonized husks of volcanic glass and crystal with levels of heat far exceeding what Natsu's normal spells generated.

"I lost my shoes again." Natsu looked at his bare feet for a second before shrugging. It wasn't like his vest had survived either, but at least he still had his pants. He walked back towards the King's Hall, leaving the cooling lava pool behind.

-King's Hall-

"What the hell is he?" Ren, Eve, and Hibiki all asked at the same time as they'd all watched as another one-third of the floating screens changed to red over the course of Natsu's fight with Zero.

"He's Natsu." Lucy said with a smile as she looked fondly towards the glowing lava field a distance away from the King's Hall. The twisted and almost sickening Magic Power had vanished from everyone's senses just a second ago and they knew that the Master of Oración Seis had been defeated.

Lyon's giant ice eagle approached the top of the King's Hall and flapped its wings a few times to slow down before landing. Lyon and Sherry helped a barely conscious Jura down from the back of the construct and eased him into a sitting position on the floor.

"We were lucky to find Jura and get him out of there before your guildmates nearly brought down Nirvana on top of our heads." Lyon looked at Lucy with an annoyed expression on his normally cool and composed face.

Sherry nodded in agreement. "Couldn't they have waited for us to get Jura to safety before they started attacking?!"

"It's alright." Jura said, managing to speak just loud enough for everyone to hear him. "They were doing their best to complete the mission, and they've done so." He let out a slow breath after speaking, his drained Magic and injury clearly taking a toll on him.

Hibiki suddenly perked up as he received a message through his Telepathy Magic. "You're at the Lacrima? Good. Just wait there for a little longer, the others should be close to theirs as well." He typed onto the keys of his Archive Magic a few times. "Checking in. Zero has been defeated. I repeat, Zero has been defeated! Is everyone at their locations?" He waited for a moment before a wide smile crossed his face at the positive responses. "On my mark then! Three, two, one…now!"

-Juvia-

"Water Nebula!" Juvia unleashed a spiraling torrent of water that could reduce steel to dust, shattering the giant Lacrima into tiny fragments. The deluge quickly turned the fragments into powder that flowed away with the current produced by Juvia's spell.

-Gajeel-

"Iron Dragon's Roar!" Gajeel exhaled the tornado of blades straight into the Lacrima. The crystal didn't hold up for even a second as it shattered and the pieces were reduced to a fine dust as countless blades shredded them further and further.

-Ichiya-

"Power Perfume: MAX MAN!" Ichiya's body bulked up, shredding his white suit once more, before he launched himself at the Lacrima before him. His golden glowing fist shattered the crystal into chunks that slammed into the far wall and the Ace of Blue Pegasus landed and then posed with sparkles around him, flexing his muscles for good measure.

-Lisanna-

"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Lisanna slammed into the Lacrima like a blazing meteor, the massive crystal turning into tiny fragments and partially melting as she landed with a bright smile on her face.

-Gray-

"Ice Make: Subzero Excalibur!" Gray formed the ultra-cold ice sword and sliced through the Lacrima like it was paper. Ice crystals rapidly formed inside the Lacrima and fractured it from the inside out, leaving chunks of it falling and shattering on the floor as it was made incredibly brittle by the extreme cold.

-Wendy-

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" Wendy blasted a literal tornado straight at the huge Lacrima. The crystal cracked and then shattered under the pressure and force of the air currents, scattering glittering fragments all over the room as Wendy's Roar slammed into the opposite wall and cracked the stone. To save her Guild, she'd put as much Magic Power as she possibly could behind her spell.

-King's Hall-

The rest of Nirvana's screens all turned red simultaneously, a loud alarm blared for a moment before everything shut off. Cracking and rumbling was heard as the Ancient Magic was destroyed, its physical form slowly sinking to the ground as it lost all power. It hit the ground and shook the Worth Woodsea nearby, sending trees swaying wildly for a short time.

"We did it!" Lucy cheered, throwing her hands into the air.

"Ha…hah…" Hibiki could barely laugh as the stress of the situation was finally relieved.

Ren let out a long sigh. "About time." He sank to the floor and rested one hand on his forehead.

Eve collapsed right next to him with a smile. "It's been a hell of a day…"

"Well done." Jura smiled at the mission being completed successfully.

"Lyon!" Sherry threw her arms around Lyon and hugged him.

Lyon was about to shove her off of him, but with a second of thought he just sighed a little and gently patted Sherry on the back.

-Later-

Everyone was gathering at the base of the King's Hall. The group of Allied Mages needed to confirm the full situation, post-mission, and get in contact with the Rune Knights and the Council as soon as possible.

"Nice job guys!" Natsu smiled and waved at everyone gathered, being one of the last to arrive, aside from Ichiya and Gray who had been the furthest away to destroy their Lacrima.

"Natsu!" Lisanna exclaimed happily as soon as she saw her Mate.

Happy barely opened his eyes, still exhausted from using up the last of his Magic Power earlier. "You won…good job, Natsu." He lifted his right paw into the air just a little before dropping it.

Natsu stomped his right foot and flexed both of his arms with a wide grin on his face. "Of course I did!" The jarring movement of his stomach, combined with the long walk back to the King's Hall in his ragged and damaged pants, finally caused the garment to give up.

Everyone saw Natsu's pants fall to the ground, revealing everything below the belt.

"I didn't need to see that." Hibiki covered his eyes.

"Ditto." Eve looked away.

Ren didn't say a word, the man just turned his head to look in the opposite direction.

"Eh?!" Wendy's cute little yelp as she saw Natsu's…maleness…made a few of the other women turn to her. Wendy's cheeks were bright red and her eyes were wide, seeing everyone looking at her staring at Natsu, she covered her eyes quickly and turned away.

"You uncivilized cretin! Cover your shame!" Carla snapped at Natsu, looking away from the man and trying to comfort Wendy.

"Nothing to be ashamed about there." Mira smirked as she licked her lips.

"Damn right." Cana grinned while eyeing Natsu up.

Lucy's face was slightly red as she looked around for something for Natsu to cover up with, only for her eyes to land on Juvia.

Juvia's eyes were locked onto Natsu's exposed length and her face was bright red, steam was literally rising off her head, though she still didn't blink at all, just continuing to stare.

"You gonna cover yourself sometime soon?" Gajeel asked, facing away from Natsu the second that he'd seen the other Dragon Slayer's pants start falling.

Erza, after having gotten her time to look and appreciate her Mate's form, Requipped a new set of his normal travel clothing (a black vest and white pants along with black sandals) before handing them to Natsu. This certainly wasn't the first time that Natsu's clothing hadn't survived a Quest.

As Natsu got dressed again everyone else was able to stop looking away.

"What'd we miss?" Gray asked as he and Ichiya approached the group.

"Maestro!" The Tri-Men exclaimed brightly as they stood up to bow formally to Ichiya.

Ichiya pointed his 'finger guns' at his subordinates with a smile and sparkles around him. "At ease, gentlemen!"

Gajeel scoffed at Gray's question. "Nothing much, just Salamander's pants falling off."

"Glad I was one of the furthest away now." Gray said with a disgusted look on his face. "Can't you even keep your clothes on, flame brain?"

All of the Fairy Tail Mages deadpanned at Gray, even Gajeel.

"What?" Gray asked, looking between everyone.

Wendy took this time to smile brightly at everyone, small tears in the corners of her eyes before she bowed at the waist, her long blue hair cascading over her shoulders. "Thank you, everyone! Because of you, our Guild is safe!"

"No problem, Wendy!" Natsu grinned at the Sky Dragon Slayer.

Lisanna smiled warmly at Wendy. "We were happy to help."

"She's right." Erza said with a smile as she gently pulled Wendy into a one-armed hug.

"We couldn't just let your Guild be destroyed." Lucy assured Wendy with a bright smile.

"But of course, my Lady!" Ichiya bowed to Wendy.

"Happy to be of service!" The Tri-Men said in unison, all bowing in perfect synchronicity as well.

"Even if it had not been part of the mission, we would still have assisted, Miss Wendy." Jura said with a small smile and a nod.

Lyon only nodded to Wendy in agreement.

"If it's for love, then I can do anything." Sherry said, her hand on her cheek as she leaned into Lyon a little.

Mira gently placed her hand on Wendy's head with a smile. "If you ever need any help, we're here for you."

"But next time we get together, let's do it to celebrate instead, yeah?" Cana grinned at Wendy.

"Of course!" Wendy beamed at them all, thankful for each and every one of them for helping to save Cait Shelter.

Crash

The distant sound of one of the ancient towers collapsing made everyone turn to look, only to see other buildings starting to fall apart as well.

"We should probably get out of here." Lyon said after seeing the crumbling of Nirvana. "Without its Magic, this is just an old ruin that's falling apart."

The Allied Mages quickly agreed and made their way off of Nirvana as fast as they could as the ruins started crumbling faster around them.

"Cait Shelter isn't too far away. Please, come stay with us for a while!" Wendy offered everyone once they were far enough away from Nirvana to not have to worry about being crushed by the collapsing stones of the crumbling ruin. "We have food, drink, beds, and we can tend to your injuries as well." Not that she hadn't already helped heal Jura's injury a bit with her Sky Magic.

"We should probably round up the Dark Mages throughout the forest back where we started soon though, right?" Lucy asked, knowing that there had to be close to a hundred people trapped, tied up, or restrained in some other way, still back in the forest.

The group of Allied Mages were now left in a quandary of just how to secure so many Dark Mages in their current condition. Most of them were tired, some were injured, and no one was at one-hundred percent after the battle with Oración Seis.

Little did they know that the solution to their problem would make itself known shortly.

Zero is gone!

Nirvana is destroyed!

Cait Shelter is saved! WOOHOO!

The Allied Guilds have successfully brought down one-third of the Balam Alliance!

Everyone got their time to shine, everyone helped take down the Oración Seis, it was a damn good team up!

Now they just need to figure out how to transport about one-hundred Dark Mages safely. Surely that can't be too hard for a bunch of worn out and injured Legal Mages, right? *Fake laugh*

I hope everyone liked the fight between Natsu and Zero! I showed another Secret Art too! Hope you enjoyed it!

Now that the mission to take down the Oración Seis is complete, what's next for the Allied Mages? Can they all go home? Or is something else going to get in the way?

Keep reading to find out!

Until I get your reviews, later!
