9Hello everyone and welcome back! I apologized for the long wait but I'm back! Apparently this chapter is almost at 10k so that's why it took forever to write. Yeah. Anywho… This is the Vaizel Annual Fighting Festival! The Fight Matches!
Word of caution: My fight scenes are rough so please just bare with me… All the fight scenes are the same in the show (so please watch the show, it helps) but one, read and find out which one that will be. You have been warned. Also there will be some cursing because… why not. All of them are old enough to say those words. Ok, enjoy!

Matrona Vs. Griamore
The tiny referee brought them outside again and explained the new rules, "The Vaizel Fighting Festival finals will begin! The rules are still simple! You win if your opponent taps out or passes out! Fall out of the ring, you lose then and there! Let's get right to the first pairing! Griamore vs. Matrona!"
Griamore and Matrona made their way up to the ring, staring at one other. The Sins, Artemis and Howzer knew this was going to be one hell of a fight. Awesome startup of the matches!
"Standing 7 feet tall and weighing in at 400 pounds, Griamore!" Love Helm introduces the big man, who's flexing his muscles just a bit. "Standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing in at none of your business, Matrona!" Love Helm moves on to the girl in the purple hat and cloak as she stands in front of the huge man. "Oopsies! Miss, the hat is fine, but please remove your cloak. Just to be safe, I have to make sure you aren't hiding any weapons!" Love Helm said.
Matrona nodded and unclipped the cloak making it fly into the crowd and she revealed the outfit underneath. It makes the crowd go wild as she wears a revealing outfit to the event.
"My eyes are glued to this first bout! And without further ado, start fighting!"
Matrona sprinted to the heavy muscular giant and gave him fast pace punches to his abdomen. He's a little startled but got his composter under control once more.
"She's just too fast! She rushed in close and let fly with a flurry of punches!" Love Helm narrated the fight.
Matrona gasped as she saw a strange purple aura form around his abs and slowly forming a sphere shape around him.
"I mustn't be defeated here. It's nothing personal, girl. This is my magical ability… WALL!" Griamore shouted.
Artemis snorted, "Wow, what a clever name…"
Ban shrugs at the archer, "Hey, you say that but judging from the strength of that ability…~"
"This guy's another Holy Knight?" Meliodas comments as he watches the girl punch at the wall multiple times trying to make a dent, which doesn't happen.
"…Shit. Where's the pig? I need a drink…" Artemis mumbled as she went looking for the pig selling alcohol.
"Get me one?"
"No!"
As she got her drink and told the pig to put it on her tab, and turned away once Hawk realized she didn't have one. She saw the other Holy Knight, Howzer, watching the fight intensely and whispered to himself.
"Too late, Sweetheart. Half-assed magical abilities and physical attacks won't work against this guy at all."
"Hmmm. You must know him pretty well to make that assessment." Artemis sneaked up next to him and was very amused when he jumped two feet into the air. Ha-ha, he's light on his feet.
"Oi! You- you're that girl from before! And yeah I've worked with him from time to time. When he's like that, your only options are to wait for him to turn it off or for him to run out of mana."
"I see… But let's make this interesting. I bet 'Sweetheart' there is going to win." She pointed to the female still punching the wall non-stop.
"Doubt it, she should have finished him off before it completely covered him. It's a fool's bet."
"We'll see bout that."
They turned back to the fight and saw Matrona struggling as the wall got bigger and wider as it started to push her to the edge of the fighting ring.
"My wall is the manifestation of my resolve to protect Princess Veronica. I insist that you leave the ring." Griamore said.
"Well isn't he polite... Wait, how can I hear that?" Artemis was taken back by how well she can hear a lot of things now. Now that she thinks about it, her senses are stronger, she's physically stronger and her body is light, almost like she's gliding the earth instead of walking.
Huh… I'll have to experiment later. Artemis thought and focused on the fight.
"Thanks to this mysterious power of Griamore, Matrona is in big trouble!" Love Helm commented as Matrona struggled and pushed back the Wall so she doesn't fall off but it doesn't look good.
"I will advance to the final round. If Princess Veronica were to give the word, I'd make anyone grovel before me! Be it the Seven Deadly Sins or even Meliodas himself!"
Once Grimore shouted this Artemis watched the girl closely and realized who she really was because Matrona was pissed.
"Oh honey, that was the wrong thing to say."
"Huh? What?" Howzer tried to ask but she just waved him off.
"Just watch."
"That's… not going to happen!" Matrona raised her right fist and slammed it into the magical wall. With a single, strong, barehanded punch she shatters his Wall, sprints towards him and jumps as she undercuts him in the jaw, destroying the rest of his ability as he flies out of the ring to the bottom layer of the mountain.
"That's my girl! Whoa!" Artemis cheered as she won the outcome of the fight. "Eat it and weep, player! Looks like I won the bet!" Howzer's jaw dropped.
"Griamore has left the ring therefore the winner is Matrona!" Love Helm said as Matrona stood in the middle of the ring in a serious victory pose. Somewhere along the way she lost her hat and showed off her long chocolate brown hair and violet eyes.
"She broke his wall barehanded. What kind of monster is she?" Howzer sweat drops as the girl just beaten one of the Sapphire members of the Holy Knights.
Artemis just laughs, "The kind I call a best friend, I'll collect my winnings another time. Good luck with John Cena. Later!" And punches him in the arm.
"Huh?! Also that hurts!" He rubs the spot she hit and continues to stare at the pretty girl with the violet eyes, who beat the giant.
Love Helm cheered, "A single blow from this slip of a girl brought down that hulk of a man! This year's fighting festival is shaping up to be a wild ride!"
King rubbed his eyes in shock from the girl in front of him, "I don't believe it's… Captain, I .. am I dreaming?"
"Guys just don't with him, it's only to go over his head. After all, he's a scatterbrain." Artemis said as she walked up to them and waved her friend over to get down from the ring.
"Rude." The smaller blond deadpanned.
She just chuckled and gave the winner a high five, "Nicely done Mama!"
"Hey, I thought I was a Big Mama!"
"Not in those clothes." Artemis pointed to the outfit that belongs to the tavern.
"Damn, I was hoping to stay hidden for a while longer! The jig is up!" Diana cutely said, leaning towards her precious captain.
"Do I know you?" Meliodas asked.
Artemis face-palms knowing full well her brother is an idiot with a death wish, "Unbelievable."
In a split second Diane's smiling face turned into pure rage as Diane punched Meliodas in the stomach making him gasp for air. "I'm done with you, you're such a jerk Captain!" She stormed away from the group.
"What did I do?" he groaned as he held his stomach because the girl had one hell of a punch that would rearrange anyone's organs.
"You really are an idiot, Captain." King said to the Dragon Sin as he chased after the Giantess, who is now small.
"OK! Moving On!" Love Helm announced the next fight.
Howzer vs. Taizoo
"OK! Moving On! The next fight-" As Love Helm announced the next fight which is Pretty Boy vs. John Cena.
While that is happening, Artemis is choking the life out of Meliodas for being himself. Again… "You dumbass! That's Di! How do you not know your own worker at the tavern!? Đồ ngốc, không phải là đứa con ngoan của một tên khốn quỷ! Ai làm vậy?!" Everyone raised an eyebrow at the switch of a new language their archer did. And somehow they all knew what she said wasn't pleasant. "Stupid! You bring a new meaning to dumb blond! Go apologize to her now!"
"Ok, ok." Meliodas agreed but he still couldn't breathe because Artemis still had a tight grip on him and continued to squeeze his neck even tighter. "Airy, I need to breathe… Airy!"
"Captain, you need to hear this." King said as he ran back to his Captain to tell him the news he just learned.
"Okay." Meliodas coughs out as the purple turns back to his normal skin tone. Airy got some serious grip strength.
"Go! Both of you… Now!" Artemis demanded.
"Ok, we're going."
"Jeez, you're bossy."
"Do not start with me." If looks can kill both King and Meliodas would be dead where they stand because Artemis has got the death glare down.
"Ok bye." They ran away to where Diane is currently at, but what Artemis didn't see was Meliodas and King giving Ban a look that said 'Calm her down' which he nodded to.
Artemis is still simmering with anger but it's mostly annoyance at the two boys and one of them doesn't have any common sense whatsoever. As she was planning their murder Ban came up from behind and rested his head on her's once more.
"Hey!" Artemis yelped from the unexpected arms warping around her waist once more and the weight on her head again.
"You're a scary one.~"
"Do you want to be treated like that?"
"Only in the bedroom.~"
She had to fight a blush and tried to calm down her heart from beating out of her chest from embarrassment and frustration, "You- no comedic timing at all."
"What? I like a woman who can take charge and dominate all men, of all species.~"
"Breathe Airy breathe. The idiot can't be killed but can be hurt. Breathe." Artemis grumbled but she'll never admit that Ban's presence is calming her down. Artemis knows she's developing a tiny crush on the man because never has someone look at her the way he does and Wally doesn't count, he flirts with anything with two legs.
"Oh, is that a promise?~"
She rolled her eyes and got out of his hold and started walking towards the shack where the rest of the team is located. "I'm going to check on the others, enjoy the fight and the rest of you… Mind your own damn business!" Artemis noticed the people near them were more focused on them then the fight, but then again it's not much of a fight.
"I'll come with. It's not much of a fight anyways.~"
"Great, keep up."
"Yes ma'am.~"
They reached the door and Ban tries to lets her go first, "Ladies first.~"
She just rolls her eyes and stubbornly stays where she stands, "Just open the damn door."
"Hey Cap'n- What the hell? He's dead?~" King is at their feet with a pool of blood forming from under him and somehow misses his clothes completely.
"No, I think it's a massive nosebleed…"
"What's the fight like?" Meliodas asked.
"Please, it's not much of a fight and get off!" Artemis grumbled as Ban uses her as a head rest. She elbows him in the stomach.
Ban flinches back and with a laugh, "Ok, ok. Ah! That middle-aged dude is way too weak.~"
"The Holy Knight dude is playing him like a fiddle, also trying to get John Cena to throw in the towel, those are his words. So Di what'd I miss?" Artemis commented and made her way to the Serpent Sin with Elizabeth in her breast as a hiding spot.
"It's a long story…" As they walked back to the fight, Diane gave a replay on what happened to her and Elizabeth. Once the group left to go fight the girls went into the forest to gather ingredients for the week. They came across a giant mushroom that blew gas at them and once they opened their eyes they were small and naked. King explains what type of monsters did this to them and says the effects should wear off between a few hours to twenty-four hours. Diane had to borrow Elizabeth's clothes because hers are too big now and she really wanted to join in the festival. Now, they are enjoying the last minutes of the second fight.
So far Howzer looks right as rain and not a scratch on him. The other guys is beaten black and blue but wants to hold onto his title, although everyone knows the newcomers will take it from him.
"But it'd be cruel to you if I didn't end this quickly."
"Damn it!"
"Thanks for a good fight."
"Victor Howzer!"
"Oh yeah!"
"He's pretty good." Meliodas commented.
"He sure is." Ban agreed.
"Wow, those are some high comments." Artemis said as she blew some of her bangs off her eyes.
Twinkletoes vs. Cain
"And now our third pairing, Cain vs. Twinkletoes!" Once again the referee introduced the next match with glee.
"Oh, that's me!" Meliodas perked up.
"Who gave you such an odd name?" Diane raised an eyebrow at the name.
"She did.~" Ban pointed to the pretty blonde between him and his Cap'n.
"Huh…" Diane nodded slowly.
"I'll explain it later." Artemis said with a wave to her hand.
"I bet it's better than anything Ban tried to put." Diane giggled a little as she watched Ban move to get behind Artemis for she is distracted by the small man holding a bottle of alcohol… he's the one Meliodas is going to fight.
Artemis sighed, "You don't know the half of it." She tries to hit Ban for he is hugging her behind again but has her arms trapped to her sides. "Boy!"
"You gave yourself a pretty weird name, too. What's up with 'Matrona'?~" Ban asked the serpent as he cuddles closer to the blonde in his arms as she struggles like a wolf in a cage.
"It's the name of someone I used to know." Diane rolled her eyes and punched the fox to release the archer, whose face was turning an interesting shade of pink.
"…Thanks." Artemis mumbled to Diane, shook off whatever she was feeling from the hug and pushed the other blond in the group to go on the ring, "Let's get this show on the road. Good luck Pip!"
"Captain, you can do it!"
"Be careful."
"Don't lose to that old timer.~"
"You can count on me." Meliodas winked at his team and walked to the middle where the old man and the referee was located.
"Now, now, weapons are prohibited." Love Helm said as he notices the sword handle on Meliodas' back and the bottle in Cain's hand.
"Oh, this is just for show." Meliodas pull out the broken sword to show.
"Hm… It's empty…" The older man throws his bottle into the crowd.
"Oh. In that case, I'll allow it. Standing 5 feet tall and weighing in at 110 pounds, Twinkletoes! Standing 5 feet and 1 inch and weighing in at 108 pounds, Cain!"
Cain cracked his neck a bit and in a second, the drunken haze disappeared and in place was a retired season warrior. "Hm? I must say, you are the spitting image of someone I used to know. When I saw your face, I suspected. But, if you please tell me your actual name?"
"Ah. I'm Meliodas." He kind of whispers to the old man.
Artemis face-palmed at her brother's stupidity, "Wow, no class." She was able to figure out how to listen in on their conversion while blocking out everyone else. Got to love trial and error plus Connor's input on how he dealt with his heightened senses. At least she had the time to get used to the heightened senses because it came in slowly, like a broken body part, you didn't know you had, is finally healing. Plus, her 'healing' started the second she woke up in this world and meeting Elaine helped out a lot as well. So now, all she has to do is focus on a certain person and hear their conversion, like Meliodas and Cain's.
The old man literally did a spit-take when he heard Meliodas reveal his name, "Stuff and nonsense! Meliodas couldn't be a whippersnapper like you!"
The Captain got close to the man so they could whisper. Only the Sins and Artemis could hear them, "Shh! It's a long story, but I'm using my sister's other nickname for me as an alias."
"If he were alive he'd be a young adult in his 30s… And he doesn't have a sister."
"She's recently adopted." He sighed, "Why doesn't anyone ever believe me?"
"The fact you don't remember me makes that hard to believe."
"Sorry, I don't."
"If you truly are the Meliodas that I know…" The old man jumps up to knee Meliodas in the face but he blocks every kick Cain sends his way and jumps off Meliodas arms to rip off his cloak to show his tunic, which has a symbol that both blondes are familiar with. "I will never forgive you!"
"That crest… It's Danafall's. Old timer, are you…?"
Cain's hands lit up as a fireball formed, "Why did you destroy our kingdom?!" Turns out the fireball was more powerful, shocking everyone as they watched the fight.
"A direct hit!"
"Captain!"
"Why did you kill our people?!" Cain sends another fire blast almost knocking him back.
"Oh my! Twinkletoes is unable to counter Cain's strange techniques!" Love Helm said as he watched the fight.
"What are you doing Captain? Fight back properly!" Diane yelled.
"It's not like he's suffering from any injuries." King noticed there was something off with their Captain like he's lost in through.
"That's not it. He's letting himself get hit. He's always pulling this stupid crap….~" Ban sighed, realizing his best friend is trying to repent for his Sin and past.
Diane grabbed his cheeks and demanded, "What? What do you mean?"
"How should I know?~"
"Think of it like his past caught up to him." Artemis was able to figure out who the man was. From the conversation they're having to Meliodas' memory and what Ban said. Meliodas is really letting himself get hit by Cain because while it won't solve anything, Meliodas believes he can help Cain get some closer.
"Why did you kill Liz, the woman you loved?!" He cried out with tears building up in his eyes, "Why did you betray us all?!" Cain raised his arms and formed a huge fireball and went for the kill.
"That's a big one…"
"Captain, dodge it!"
"Pip!"
"I tried to protect them. I wanted to protect everything. But… I failed. That failure is my sin." Meliodas held up his hand. "So this time… I have to protect everything!" And in a second the fire disappeared.
"Huh? Where'd the big fireball go?"
"I-It vanished."
"Counter Vanish. The technique that disperses any offensive magic directed against you. You 're the Meliodas I knew, all right." He said softly to the Blond Sin in front of him.
"And I just remembered who you are, Cain Barzard."
"I call bullshit!" They heard Artemis call out but ignored her.
"You finally remembered, eh."
"When you were in the Holy Knights, you went by the name Barzard the Flame. Plus, you were always wearing a full suit of armor."
"Oh, I was?" Cain walked up to him to get a confession. "Meliodas, can I take you at your word? That you didn't betray Danafall? You didn't betray us all?"
"Yes."
Cain let out one tear before jumping on Meliodas to hug him and sobbed. "I'm so glad! How I've longed to hear those words from you!"
"Barzard…"
"When I returned from my duties, everything was gone. All too plausible rumors were going around that you had destroyed Danafall! But I always wanted to believe that they were lies!"
"What the heck is going on?" Diane asked King and Artemis.
"Beats me…" King was just as clueless as the Serpent.
"He's referring to his sin." Artemis sighed.
"I'm so glad!" Cain finally released the captain from his hug of death and got a better look at him. "It's wonderful to see a comrade in arms from the old days still alive!"
Helm slowly walked closer to the pair and asked, "Excuse me, what about the fight?"
"I yield the fight."
"What is this?! Cain has admitted his own defeat! The victor is none other than Twinkletoes!"
"Are you sure?" Meliodas asked.
"Yes, of course. You're still the same old softie, I see. You could've reflected my techniques back at me whenever you wanted."
"If I'd done that and you'd died. I would have lost everything."
"Hey, I'm not that decrepit just yet." Cain walked away from his friend and waved as he looked for a place to rest. "I suppose I'll kick back and watch the semi finals and the finals then."
Meliodas let out an amused huffing sound, realizing the old man hasn't changed a bit in the last ten years.
Sugar Queen vs. Snoozles
"Well that was interesting to watch." Artemis said to Meliodas as he jumped off the ring.
"Mm-hm! You're up next Airy. Have fun fighting Ban."
"Oh goodie…" She looked up as if some deity would give her strength for her upcoming fight with the bloodthirsty fox.
"You'll be fine. I promise.~" Ban got up in her face with a smirk on his Ban.
She glared at him and kicked his face away, "I'm not trusting you. Also, don't make promises you can't keep, Thief."
"Hm, we'll see about that.~" He rubs his cheek as if she gave him a kiss or something.
"Ok, enough with the foreplay-" Meliodas said.
"Excuse you!"
"Well now that you mention it…~"
"Shut. Up."
"Go fight!" King yelled while hiding in his Chastiefol pillow form like a little kid. He feels secondhand embarrassment; it's like watching your sibling fight/flirt with their friend they have sexual tension with but they're denial about it. It's so embarrassing!
Art and Ban walk up to the ring, with the archer glaring at everything and everyone and the fox smirking like there is no tomorrow.
"Now our final pairing of the first round! Snoozles vs. Sugar Queen!"
"Give him hell Queen!"
"Another cute female! Give us her measure as well!"
"Fuckin Pig…"
Meliodas, Diane, and King all release killing intent, making everyone step five feet or more away from them. No one talks about their archer like that or any of the ladies in their group like that.
Love Helm introduced them, "Standing 6 feet tall and 11 inch and weighing in at 170 pounds, Snoozles!" Ban cracked his neck with the shit eating smirk still plaster to his face. "Standing 5 feet and 4 inch and weighing in at go to hell, Sugar Queen!" Artemis stretches her arms over her head giving everyone a peak at her abs. Once her little show was done she pushed her bangs behind her ear giving a small smile, almost all the males blush at the motion, to everyone who doesn't know her well thinks it's innocent and meant good luck but those who do know her it actually means get ready for hell to come. Ban and Artemis are going to have one hell of a fight.
"Well, ladies first.~" Ban bowed to Artemis and let her take the first hit.
Artemis continues to smile but now has a tilt to her head making everyone's blush go a shade darker, "Aw, what a gentleman."
Artemis blurs; she sprints towards him to deliver a kick and Ban believes he can easily block it but to his surprise her kick sends him flying to the other end of the ring.
"Oh… Finished already?" she asked.
"Oh! With a hefty kick Snoolez flew but saved himself! What a turn out!"
Ban chuckles a little feeling deja vu from being pushed back like that, "Hmm… It seems you've gotten faster and stronger since we first met.~"
"So, it seems."
Ban rushed in as soon as he saw an opening.
"No good, Airy's smart."
With a side step she turns with a sharp kick followed by a roundhouse.
"Whoa, that was smooth. Where did you learn that?~" Ban's impressed by the quick move.
She rolled her eyes, remembering how exactly she perfected that move, "From the man I used to call my father."
"He's a real piece of work, isn't he?~"
"You have no idea but blood is blood." The second the blonde girl said the phrase, a certain fairy and blond male snapped their heads like a forgotten memory went front and center and for a split second became crystal clear before it was gone again.
"Looks like I should get serious then.~"
"Really, for me?"
"Ya.~"
And in a second the whole air changed around them, tensions build as they get serious and finally it is the battle of strength vs speed but not in a violent way. No… this is a dance between two souls reconnecting and becoming one, once more.
"Blood is blood… Where have I heard that before?" King watches Artemis move her body around to dance with the wind, almost like a certain saint.
Meliodas can see the beauty in her movements as well but he can see a deeper, more darker shadow in her. A fighting style he has not seen in 3,000 years. That worries him slightly…
"Hm, did you say something?" Diane asked the fairy king as he tried to remember where he heard it but before he knew, it was gone. Buried deep in his memory like a puzzle still missing pieces before it makes sense.
"Ah… No, no. Just mumbling to myself. Ha-ha..." King nervously chuckled to the girl next to him and turned back to pay attention to the intense fight.
They ran at one another fast pace punches and bone breaking kicks at every turn with sharp blocks and quick dodging. Ban finally got one one good hit on Artemis but didn't count on his strength to push her back back so far to the edge. Luckily Artemis had a good hold on the ground with her hands and did an improved backflip. No signs of blood but the wrappings on her hands and forearms are destroyed. She didn't have time to think but reacted because Ban came at her again landing another punch but this time on her head.
The air still as everyone watched in silence.
"Ow, that hurt."
Ban spit out some blood for Artemis managed to get in a kick to his jaw in the last second.
As for Artemis, blood trails down the side of her face.
Meliodas blinked as a frown form on his usual smiling face, "Oh… That's not good…"
"What is it, Meliodas-sama?" The tiny princess asked.
"Airy has a mental block and the place Ban hit her might have consequences."
"How bad are we talkin'?" Diane's eyes narrowed as if trying to find answers for the problem.
"Can't say for sure… All I know is that Airy's power comes from this world and from the nightmares, dreams and memories she has shown me… She might be a reincarnated fairy, King."
King was slightly shocked and his jaw dropped just a bit, "...That's rare, like zero to none rare…"
"Have you ever heard such a thing?" Diane hugged herself as she asked.
King scratched his head trying to find the answers but there was too much going on around him to focus, "Only once… but it's a legend, even for my people."
Meliodas sighed, "Let's hope this doesn't get out of hand."
Artemis knows her outfit is damaged beyond repair; her corset is only covering her breast but the main fabric is gone, her skirt's slit is larger and showing off more of her thigh. This might be the last time she wears this dress. With a deep breath, she jumps up high in the air and lands a perfect, earth shattering kick on Ban. Making the arena shake and create a huge crack and crater. The air clears once more, Artemis is on top of Ban but she holds a single hand and…
"Ok, I'm done."
"...WHAT!"
Artemis flipped off Ban and went to their group where Meliodas was smirking at her. He knew she would do something like this and make a commotion just for the hell of it.
"You know you just piss off a lot of people right?"
"Oh… So sorry. I didn't know I had to be a people-pleaser. Whatever shall I do…"
"I wanted to fight you." Meliodas pouted and crossed his arms like a child.
"Too bad, you get the Thief." Artemis rolled her eyes at her brother and pointed to the fuming fox behind her.
"…ok, that's fine."
Before Artemis could give a sarcastic remark, a certain silver blue fox grabbed her hair to make her tilt her head all the way back to face a very irritated Ban.
"What the hell was that?!~"
Artemis glared at him and didn't make a move to remove his hand from her braid but her hand was inching closer to her hidden knife attached to her thigh that was still covered by her dress. Luckily no one saw it during their fight. "I couldn't continue. And I wanted to watch the other fights. Plus, I knew you were half-assing it. Hell! Not even! So, I wasn't going to waste my time or yours!" With a twist of her wrist the knife stabbed Ban's hand and he released her. She turned to face him correctly, she had on a feral scowl with teeth and all, looking like a huntress or a wolf.
"Oh screw these people! I want a fair fight with you!~"
"Well you are going to have to wait!"
Artemis and Ban, if given the time, could argue for hours if they wanted, but there are fights they wanted to watch.
"Um, guys! They're starting the next fight." King pointed to Love Helm, who wanted to end the day already but a certain group is making it difficult.
"We are not done.~"
"Fine!"
Meliodas slid up to his sister and whispered, "You wanna tell me what's really up?"
"...Later."
"Ok."
Matrona vs. Howzer
"Hey Mama, looks like you're up next. Pretty boy there does look pretty tough." Artemis said to Diane, after calming down from her argument with Ban, pointing to the heated up Holy Knight.
Howzer looks like he's ready for the woman who made fighting with a Holy Knight look like child's play, "Okay, after being shown something like that, it gets you pumped up!"
"Oh, no! I have to go! Here, Captain!" Diane quickly and carefully grabbed Elizabeth from her breast and put her in Meliodas' hands. She runs off to jump on the ring for her fight.
"Huh, oh." Meliodas stares at the silverette with a creepy grin, luckily Artemis hits him on the head.
"Oh, hell no. Pipsqueak, hand her over the Princess. Raise arms up, there you go." Artemis uses the neck tie and made a dress off of it so Elizabeth wouldn't be naked the whole time.
"Thank you so much Goddess!" Elizabeth twirls in her new outfit.
Once Elizabeth was situated the Sins, Princess, and Archer focus on Diane and her fight. They are cheering her on to win.
"You can do it, Matrona!" King shouted.
"Diane, don't do anything crazy okay!" Elizabeth called out with all her might.
"Beat his ass Mama!" Artemis cheered as she grabbed another drink from the pig.
Meliodas has Elizabeth in his hands once again and decides to take his shot and lift up her dress which makes her gasp in shock.
Diane heard their encouragement and saw what her captain did, "Twinkle Toes!"
"Pipsqueak, what is wrong with you?!" Artemis smacked him around again and Ban stole her drink at the same time.
"Let the first pairing of the semifinals begin! That Howzer, such a gentleman! He just pointed out to Matrona that one of her buttons came loose! But this has earned fierce boos from the crowd!" Love Helm commented on the sidelines.
"I can't fight if I have to keep averting my eyes!" Howzer yelled with a small blush.
"Is Howzer pure of heart in spite of his looks?!" The little referee is having fun teasing Howzer about this situation.
"Wow, if he didn't say anything this would have been one sexy fight for sure." Artemis smirked as she is now very invested in this fight.
"Hm… Something you want to share?" Meliodas wiggled his eyebrows at his sister teasingly while petting Elizabeth's head.
"Nope."
Diane sighed and buttoned up her top, "Whatever, I usually have this much showing anyway…"
She got into a fighting stance, which gave Howzer the cue to start the fight and ran towards her with his fist covered in his mana.
Rising Tornado!
Diane quickly jumps away from the fast-forming tornado, where she was standing not even two seconds ago, gasping in awe, "Whoa, if that hits me full-on, we're talking torn to shreds!"
Artemis snorted, "Forget what I said, this is going to be interesting."
"Wanna bet?~"
"No! But damn! What I would give for some popcorn right now!"
Howzer smirked as he kept sending his tornadoes at Diane, making her jump each time, "I'm glad you know what you're up against! But! Just lie back and leave everything to my magic hands! I promise it won't hurt! I'm gonna make you feel like you're flying!"
"I can't! I just can't!" Artemis and Ban are currently leaning on one another dying of laughter.
"He's incredible! Everything he said is sexual!" Meliodas commented very loudly.
"We're dying here!" They're still crackling like maniacs.
Howzer heard the blond and fell on his face as he tripped, "N-no no it's not! That's not what I-"
"Really?" Diane covered herself as she asked.
"Oh my god! Even she thought that!" Blondie laughed even harder.
"You got it all wrong! I just wanna finish this quickly because I don't like hurting women, that's all! No matter how tough they are!"
"Aw! He's got a crush…~" Ban teased.
Artemis played as well with a hand to her cheek with a cute blush, "Oh, I can see it now: forbidden lovers, enemies fighting one another! A classic but violent version of Romeo and Juliet."
Meliodas chuckled at his sister and best friend's scheme, "Ok, you two that's enough… but you're right, it does have that vibe."
"Captain!" King whined not wanting to hear about Diane being in a relationship with another man.
"Oh, my! Matrona is being kept on the defensive!" Love Helm said as he watched the fight instead of the loud group making fun of their friend's opponent.
"If that's how you want it! I really wish I didn't have to back a woman into a corner like this!"
"His choices of words are really not helping him." Artemis let out a small giggle.
"Mm-hm." Meliodas nodded in agreement.
"You're having too much fun with this match, you know that." King rolled his eyes at the Troublesome Blondes.
"Tornadoes have formed on both sides of Matrona! And she can't back up! She's totally cornered!" Love Helm shouted as Diane yelped like a dame.
"Not good!" King said worriedly.
"If you jump high or burrow in the ground, my tornadoes will gouge out of the ground and climb into the sky!"
"Once again, he misread the situation." Artemis sighed, realizing Big Mama is totally going to put the Pretty Boy in his place.
"Whacha mean?~" Ban asked as he once again used Artemis as a headrest, she tried to get him off her head but he's just sticking to her like glue since their fight and gave up.
"Just watch."
"Checkmate!" Howzer shouted in victory but got the shock of his life.
"Bingo bitch!"
Diane stopped his punch with her hand. Howzer was not expecting that, "Impossible! You said a direct hit would tear you to shreds!"
She glared and slapped him across the face so hard that he fell in front of her, "I meant I didn't want to ruin these clothes I borrowed! Jerk!"
He chuckled as he ran a finger where she hit him and got up with a sly smile, "Interesting… Been a long time since I've been able to really bring it, Sweetheart. If you don't want to die, start running."
Whirl Shock!
"Diane!" King shouted as the powerful move slammed into her.
Artemis was impressed because only her clothes got torn up and made her hair a mess. "Damn! That girl is made out of some sturdy stuff. Hm, I wonder what a fight between her and Conner would look like…" Artemis started to think if she evers goes back with the Sins, she wants to do a fighting festival of who can beat who. A grand fight of SDS vs. JL.
"That caught me off guard…" Diane was dazed as a small rock hit her head as well.
"There's more where that came from!" Howzer got really excited to meet someone who can stand his power and use one of his most powerful moves. He slams his hands to the ground making a huge…
"What the hell is going on?! The referee is out of here!"
Super Cyclone!
"What do you think of the most powerful storm I can whip up?!"
The cyclone is huge and covers the entire ring and the storm rises 100 meters in the air.
"This is amazing! I can barely see what's going on inside." Meliodas quickly covers Elizabeth's tiny form from the wind and tries to see the inside of the cyclone.
"That means Diane's in trouble!" King tried to say to his Captain over the loud wind.
"This is so cool!" Artemis tries to get a closer look but Ban holds her back before she hurts herself or ends up flying.
"You say that but the instant one of her feet leaves the ground, it's all over.~"
"I-I bet I could withstand it." Hawk stutters as he watches the storm grow even more.
"If you say so Porky."
"It's time to fly! Victory is mine!" Howzer screamed in victory but it was a little too early to celebrate.
Heavy Metal!
Artemis saw something silver almost like metal and squinted to see clearly but something stopped her, "The fu-" The arena shakes and another huge crack is formed and it goes all the way to the base of the mountain scaring the man below.
"Wh-what happened?" The little referee came back climbing the ring and saw who was standing and who's on the ground in pain. What a turn out! "Howzer is down for the count! So the victor of the first semifinal is… Matrona!"
"Hey! Are you okay?!" Diane ran to Howzer to help him get comfortable on her lap as she checked over him.
"My ass got kicked is all…" Howzer groaned.
"Guess I kinda lost control and went all-out for real. Sorry…"
"I got one of the Seven Deadly Sins to go all-out against me." He smirked, "It was my honor."
Diane tried her best to deny who she is but she's not good at lying, "W-What are you talking about? I'm just a normal girl who's just passing through town."
He chuckled, "You're not fooling anyone."
The rest of the Sins are watching them making sure nothing happens.
Meliodas, once again, starts petting Elizabeth's head as he comments the fighters in front of them, "Think there's romance in the air."
"A lovely romantic vibe from those two." Artemis nodded in agreement. "That was one hell of a fight."
"Please, our fight was better.~" Ban rolled his eyes at the pair and tried to start another fight with the archer about who had a better fight and what ifs.
King really didn't appreciate the Blondes' comments and shouted to the girl, "Diane! Get away from that man this instant!"
Artemis put a pause to her and Ban's debate about the fights to ask King a question that will annoy him even more, "What are you? Her father?"
"NO!" King is red from either anger or embarrassment.
"Sheesh!"
"Diane… I knew it!" Howzer was relieved that he was right about the beautiful girl. Diane sighed because one of her friends can be so protective and drop the man off her lap as she walks back to them.
Howzer felt the pain in his head, back and abs but for some reason he wanted to continue to talk, to fight, to get to know the Serpent Sin even more, "Please, wait!" But there was no time for such a luxury.
"I mean it, I'm really sorry." Diane apologized cutely and stuck out her tongue in a joking manner, making him blush.
Diane ran back to her group and Artemis got in her face teasing the ever loving hell out of her, "Can you feel the love tonight… had fun with your boyfriend Mama?"
"Shut up." Diane had a small blush as she pushed the blonde girl away.
As the Sins congratulated Diane on her win, the past fighters made a few comments themselves.
"I don't believe it… To think that someone could defect a Holy Knight."
"It seems like a big world, but it's a small place."
Twinkletoes vs. Snoozles
"And now, the second semi final pairing!" Meliodas and Ban looked at one another with a smirk, "Twinkletoes vs. Snoozles!"
"Good luck to you two!"
"Be careful!" Elizabeth said as Meliodas put her in Artemis's hand
Artemis quickly grabbed his shoulder, "Don't fuck it up. Also, I'll hold on to this." Artemis held his broken sword for safe keeping.
"Thanks!" Meliodas smiled at them as he and Ban made their way to the center of the ring.
"It's about time, huh. Shall we get down to business?" Ban cracked his neck as he was getting ready.
Meliodas cracked his knuckles with a smile, "You got it!"
"Capt- I mean Twinkle Toes! Go get him!" Diane shouted to her precious Captain.
"Hey Snoozles! If you lose in disgrace, I'll tell you-know-who!" King yelled to the fox.
"Give us one hell of a fight boys! Oh right!" Artemis cheered to the guys and looked at Elizabeth who was still in her hand and had an idea, "Here you go Princess, don't worry no one will spot you." Artemis places her on her shoulder, where her long bangs cover the Princess's tiny body.
Diane nodded, "Good idea Artemis! That way you can cheer them on too, Elizabeth."
"O-okay…"
"Without further ado, let the fight begin!"
"Sure would be nice if we had more room to move around." Ban complained but Meliodas started to giggle at his words, "What's with the laughing? You really lookin' forward to fighting me that much Cap'n?"
Neliodas tilted his head as he remembered how they first met, "I just remembered the old days. We had about this much space then, didn't we?"
"It's been awhile. Which time are ya talkin about?"
"Oh, you'll remember soon enough!" Meliodas said before he disappeared in a flash for a second and reappeared to punch the hell out of Ban.
"Eh? Oh yeah! I remember now!" Ban laughed with his usual bloodthirsty grin as he remembered as well.
"I need that story." Artemis pointed like a kid wanting to know more about her brother and his best friend.
"Mm-hm." Elizabeth agrees but is mostly worried for the crazy Captain.
"The fight's been decided with one blow!" Love Helm shouted as he observed the fight, Ban was getting closer to the edge but stopped himself by his foot.
"Ha, think again."
Ban grabs Meliodas by the waist to throw him to the ground but Meliodas puts his hands out to grip the ground and crosses his legs on Ban's neck and uses the momentum to slap Ban's head on the ground. But as Meliodas watches him Ban was unaffected, grab him by the ankles and kick Meliodas into the air. It takes Ban a second to catch up with him and they start their fight again but in the air. This fight is turning into the most interesting and intense fight of the festival.
"Let's do this!" Ban yelled as he threw an alarming rate of punches at Meliodas but he blocked all of them like a pro.
Meliodas was getting tired of being on the defense and threw a strong punch at Ban and knoughing him back to the ground in the center of the ring, "That's nothing!"
The punch was so strong it made the crack both Artemis and Diane made look like nothing. Meliodas finally came back down and listened to the commotion but kept an eye out for Ban because he knew Ban couldn't die.
"Is that guy dead?"
"Does this even qualify as a fight?"
Ban gets up like nothing even happened which surprises everyone because this didn't happen in his last fight with Artemis.
"He's perfectly fine!"
Ban and Meliodas stare at one another for a second picking the right time to attack, Ban makes the first move and flashes towards Meliodas, he does the same thing. Then it was a fury punch after punch and kick after kick it just shows how insanely powerful they are and only a member of the Sins can keep up or go at full power, if they really wanted to.
"Huh, they are really holding back." Turns out they're not using even half of their power, which is something Artemis noticed. Which makes sense since there is a few Holy Knights around
Howzer's sweat drops when he hears that from the blonde girl, "Wow, these guys are monsters."
She nods in agreement, "You can say that again." They watch as Meliodas sends a jab to Ban's abdomen, making him throw up some blood and Meliodas quickly sends him a hook punch sending him flighting in the air. He crashes hard to the ground but for some reason Meliodas also falls to his knees and hands.
"Oh no! Both fighters are down!" Love Helm said.
"You jerk, you've gone and done it now..." Meliodas mumbles to Ban as he realizes what happened to him.
"And up we go." Ban gets up in a sly way like the fox he is.
"Wh-what's going on?" Love Helm said in confusion, "Snoozles' injuries have vanished completely!"
Ban just stared at Meliodas for a second and ran to him, Meliodas figured once he got close to punch Ban but hit fist met with air and Ban was behind him twisting his wrist and punched the hell out of Meliodas's head.
Artemis shouted with rage, "I fuckin called it! He was holding back! You bitch!" Diane and Howzer were practically holding her back to fight the fox again.
"These guys are nuts!"
Meliodas laid on the floor as Ban bounced around like a little kid but he should have paid attention to his opponent, "I'm floating like a butterfly!" Meliodas elbowed him in the jaw with a speed like no other with blood coming out from the hit, "Ow! You knocked out a tooth!" Ban opened his mouth wide, showing off his pearly white fang. "Just kidding." Meliodas ran up to him to kick him but Ban just sidesteps and headbutts him in the back, making Meliodas lose balance but he catches himself in time.
"You see that King…" Diane said to King quietly.
King nodded, "The Captain steadily losing his ability to follow Ban's movement."
"His staminas running out, you mean?" Diane raised an eyebrow.
King stares intensely at the fight as he comments on what he'd observed, "Right after the Captain's movements slow down."
Artemis caught up to what King was saying, "Ban's agility shot up."
"What does that mean?" Elizabeth asked.
Snatch!
"Bans magical ability, Snatch, is able to sap an opponent's physical abilities like speed and power." King explains Ban's power to the girls.
"Huh, so that's why I felt slower at the time." Artemis nodded slowly as she remembered feeling weak after she kicked Ban in the head.
Ban throws an uppercut to Meliodas chin but he recovers fast and throws Ban over his shoulder, "Is that all you got?!"
"Twinktoes, he's turned the tables!" Love Helm is very excited for this fight as he watches Meliodas repeatedly whip Ban back and forth like it's nothing, "The beating Snoozles like a rug! Can you believe this power!"
Ban uses his power again to make Meliodas weak and stop his assault. Ban uses the power he stole making his muscle bulge which is something all the females notice, especially one acher, who's raised an eyebrow as she checks out Ban, "Come again?" Ban punches Meliodas in the face, pushing him back to the other side of the ring.
Physical Hunt!
"This feeling of your strength flows into me… Whoa, man… This is such a rush!" Ban is in a daze from all the power rushing in his system and grinning at Meliodas like a bloodthirsty maniac.
Artemis had to blink and rub her eyes to make sure what she was seeing was really, Ban's muscle mass grew and he might be taller too but what really got her is the slur in Ban's words, "Uh, is he high?"
"I don't know…" Elizabeth scratched her head at the fight as well.
"I wonder how much power I ended up taking! Time to find out!" Ban jumps high to punch Meliodas but he blocks it with his own fist and breaks Ban's hand, arm and ribs at the same time pushing him back to the edge once more. "Come on, seriously? How bottomless are your reserves, Cap'n?"
"Oof, that is the question…" Artemis played with her braid because this is one of the most interesting and violent fights she has ever seen, and she was around the Justice League and the Shadows before coming here. This takes the cake.
"Okay, I've made up my mind." Ban wipes the blood off his face and puts his hands in his pocket, casually walking closer to Meliodas.
Meliodas walks towards him as well as he yells out, "Giving up?"
"I've just been chipping away at your speed and power up till now, but I'll need to do a little more than that to wrap this up. So I'll just take it all." Ban places his hands in front of him like he's going to give Meliodas a hug but instead he takes Meliodas's power.
"Um… no, don't do that." Artemis shakes her head carefully, Elizabeth is still on her shoulder, and resists the urge to face palm because she doesn't want to miss anything. But she does know the fight is coming close to the end.
"Come again…" Elizabeth asked.
Artemis smirks a little and lets out a sigh, "Pip has an ace up his sleeve."
"Hurry up and finish him off already!" Diane yells at her Captain.
"If Ban steals his strength, he'll win. If the Captain can put him down before then he wins." King said as he examined the fight.
Artemis had to bite her lip from giggling, "He-he, you make it sound like he's a dog-" Artemis groned, "Ugh, oh boy."
"That was delicious, Cap'n!" Ban laughed, he stole a lot of power from Meliodas when he was punching Ban's face repeatedly but Meliodas fell to the ground because he has no strength to even stand.
"And what do we have here? Twinkletoes who had been pummeling Snoolzes mercilessly has run out of strength!"
"Um… Goddess, King-sama what happened to Meliodas-sama?" Elizabeth asked, while she understands a little about fighting, mana and different abilities still confuse her.
"Ban has sapped away the Captain's physical abilities; he doesn't have anything left." King said.
Artemis blew a piece of her air out of her eyes, "His ass is going to get beaten. Make sure you cool it!"
"It's time to put an end to our pleasant little tussle. Cap'n, what should I do now?" Ban asked his Captain, who was laying on the floor in pain.
Diane screamed and didn't realize she used his name but no one was really paying attention to her except a certain Holy Knight, who was helping King hold her back. "Ban! If you do anything more to the Captain, I'm never going to forgive you! Friendship over! Understand!"
"Girl, calm down." Artemis waved her hand like nothing bad was going to happen.
Ban clicked his tongue in annoyance, "No comments from the peanut gallery. I won this fight, so don't go telling me what to do."
Meliodas let out a pitiful chuckle, "Sounds to me like you're a little punch drunk, because I'm the one who is winning."
Ban gave Meliodas one of his grins like an excited child, "You and I are the perfect match, Cap'n. Well, I'm gonna get in one last hit if you don't mind."
"Stop! Ban-sama or Meliodas-sama will-"
"The Captain won the fight." Diane confidently said.
"How so?" Elizabeth asked.
"Captain's gonna play dead he's-"
Artemis had to stop that train of thought, "If you think he's gonna use Full Counter stop right there it doesn't work like that."
King sadly nodded in agreement, "She's right, I'm sorry Diane. The Captain's magical ability is only able to reflect direct magical attacks, as it will be powerless against an ordinary punch."
"No way! Then what's he doing out there?!"
"Honestly, I have no idea!"
Artemis sighed and noticed one of Meliodas' fingers twitching, "I do and it's not pretty. Once again, cool it!"
Ban raised his fist and everyone can see a dark purple aura around Ban's figure showing how powerful he is right now, "If you survive this, make sure to tell me how it felt afterwards. The taste of a punch that was fueled by your power plus mine behind it!"
"Melioda-sama!"
"Princess, calm down. It will be fine." Artemis tried to calm down the Princess but she had to get ready to jump because someone didn't listen. "Fuckin cool it! Here Di, hold her." At the same time as Ban punched Meliodas in the stomach, Artemis used her wind powers to jump into the air to catch something.
"Huh?!"
Howzer blocked the debris from hitting him and the girl next to him, "He really finished him off! Aren't they on the same team?!"
"Oh no, Meliodas-sama!"
Artemis said somewhere behind Diane where a painful groan can be heard as well, "I give up, you tell her Pip."
The smoke cleared and revealed Meliodas as the only one standing in the ring with his figure by his mouth as if whispering a secret, "Shh! Elizabeth, don't ruin it."
"Huh?"
"What the-?"
"Oh? Twinkletoes is standing alone in the ring! Where has Snoolzes gone?!" Love Helm's voice expresses everyone's thoughts because they were not expecting that.
"Damn, you're heavy."
Meliodas pointed to the blonde girl holding Ban by his arm and waist and was about to drop him. "See? Right there with my sister." Which she did.
"How can this be?! But this means…" Love Helm was at a loss for words.
Meliodas pointed to himself very satisfied with the outcome, "I win." He laughed as it was silent for a few seconds before the whole arena shouted in celebration for the victor.
"Victor Twinkletos!"
"D-Diane…" King couldn't believe what he saw but had to make sure.
"Mm-hm…" She nodded and had the same thoughts as him.
"The fight was over really fast but I think I saw something strange…" King really couldn't explain or how to put it into words that make sense lucky Diane had that covered.
"I saw it, plain as day. Ban landed a blow with all his strength, all right. But at that same instant, the Captain crushed Ban's wrist. And then, in the next instant, Ban's body was sent flying. I've seen the Captain look like that before. What do you suppose it is? It makes me really nervous…"
"Hey, guys!" Meliodas called out to them as he walked to them as the civilians around them just clapped for Meliodas. "What's with all the gloomy faces?"
"Are you feeling okay?" King asked his Captain.
"Take a look!" Meliodas smiled and twisted his arm around to show he's good. "Once I belted Ban, I felt good as new."
"Then how did he move like that before he beat Ban?" Diane mumbled.
"What's wrong, Diane?" He got right in front of her face to ask, "Are you stressing out? Well, your next opponent does look pretty tough." Meliodas smirked at that last statement.
Artemis just slapped his head, "Really, is that so…"
Matrona vs. Twinkletoes
"The final round of the Vaizel Fighting Festival is finally upon us! It's been a parade of outrageous characters this year! And this fight will feature the cream of the crop!"
"Wait here a sec, okay?" Diane gave Elizabeth back to Artemis.
"We need to do something about Elizabeth-chan's dress, it's slipping off." Hawk said he showed up once he was done selling the ale.
"Yeah, not my best work." Artemis shrugged
"Oh, all right… Elizabeth-chan, hold your arms up for a second."
Hawk grabbed the fabric and made it into a better looking tiny dress for the Princess, "Thank you, Hawk-chan! And better luck next time Goddess!"
"Mm-Hm! Girl please, you better hope not. Also Hawk, didn't you have a bag of money?" Artemis said and the pig started looking nervously around for his bag. Turns out Ban stole it and Artemis took it from him before he could cause damage.
"What's with this useless, yet amazing special ability?" King was amazed at what the pig could do.
"Both fighters, please step into the ring!" Love Helm announced, Diane and Meliodas waved at the crowd, very happy they're the finalists.
"Well, we get your sacred treasure no matter who wins. Want to half-ass it and wrap this up?" Meliodas asked the Serpent.
"My heart's already been KO'd by you, Captain!" Diane sticks her tongue out jokingly, "Kidding!"
"Oi! Get the show on the road! I want to eat!" Artemis yelled to them.
"No comments from the peanut gallery." Meliodas teased his sister.
She rolled her eyes and demanded Diane to win, "Oh, screw you Pip! Mama kicked his ass!"
"Arty, please calm down."
Diane and Meliodas did half-ass the fight; it was filled with kicks, punches, blocks, and other fighting moves. It was a show, nothing serious, after all they just wanted the prize, Diane's Gideon a very short fight indeed and very anticlimactic, which everyone was upset about hoping for an exciting fight. But all well the Sins got what they came for.
"And the winner of the Annual Fighting Festival is… Matrona!"
"Yeah! That's my girl!"
"Best Day Ever!"
"Congratulations Matrona!"
The Tavern
The Sins decide to celebrate Diane's win at the Boar Hat and change clothes that weren't damaged and finally open the bar to the public for a party to meet all the fighters that had a match. Taizoo shook hands with Diane as Former and Current Champion of the Annual Fighting Festival. Meliodas and Cain were in a private corner catching up on lost time and learning what has happened in the past 16 years. Artemis got Howzer and King to do an arm wrestling competition, Howzer won while King was beat-red and demanded a rematch. Ban was at the bar enjoying a drink while keeping an eye on Artemis, who now has a fan club. Hawk was doing his rounds and eating any scrapes that fell on the floor. Elizabeth was on Artemis' shoulder hiding behind her bangs watching everyone with a smile.
But all good things must come to an end… Elizabeth spotted a certain violet hair girl with a sword strapped to her back and a huge man following closely behind her. Hello again! So once again I'm so sorry for the long awaited updated chapter and if some of the fights didn't have a lot of details, I'm going off by the anime and other videos I found that fit the fight scenes like Artemis vs. Ban. Also to explain the ending I just wanted a fluffy 'moment' the Sins and Artemis having fun while making unlikely friends, Cain and Howzer, and using their powers in a fun and exciting way. After all, it has been 10 years! I'm sure they all learn a new trick or two, I think, that they can surprise their team with! Ok I'm done rambling and I hope the next one doesn't take a year to make.
