Chapter 75 – Goblin Rebellion
The first thing that Harry noticed when he stepped out of the Floo (nearly stumbling) and into the Leaky Cauldron was how empty the pub was. He didn't even see Tom, the barman, anywhere around.
"Where is everyone?" Penny asked as she looked around.
Fleur was equally confused. "This is a normally busy time for people passing through to get to Diagon Alley, non?"
"They probably fled when the Goblin Horde started attacking London." Tonks said with a slight grimace. She couldn't fault the average Witch and Wizard for looking out for themselves or their families, but it still seemed wrong to just leave the Non-Magical people of London to die at the hands of Goblins.
The four quickly headed for the front door and stepped out into London. They were nearly bombarded with a cacophony of noise from police sirens and the sounds of gunfire. The occasional sound of spellfire could be heard if one listened closely.
"Keep in touch when you can." Tonks smiled at her family. "If we focus on the areas of heaviest fighting, then we should be able to at least stem the horde."
"We will have aerial superiority." Fleur gave the others a beautiful, reassuring smile. She started floating slightly into the air with the power of her Wind Walker attached to her feet and legs. "Be safe, my loves."
Penny began to float into the air as well, but she pulled all three of them into a hug. "We all come back safe, okay? Don't do anything crazy."
The group hug was held for a long moment.
"Hopefully this won't take too long once King Drasurd arrives with his army." Harry gave them all the best smile that he could, mostly to hide the ball of worry that had settled in his gut.
BAM
The four looked down the street to see a force of Goblins had smashed the front of a shop near the end of the street at the intersection.
"You four go ahead." Harry gently pushed them into the air. "We need to spread out to curb this attack and save those that can be saved."
"Be safe, Harry." Penny said before she took off into the air.
"Don't do anything crazy." Tonks gave him a look as she floated slowly into the air before turning and flying off.
Fleur leaned down to kiss his lips briefly. "We'll see you as soon as we can, mon amor." She promised before flying away.
Harry watched them fly away until they each disappeared behind one building or another. "Right then…" He reached into his Storage Cloak and pulled out Aethereum, the Artifact Sword nearly humming as its innate Magic resonated with its creator's. "Let's begin." He headed for the Goblins with Aethereum held out to the side.
"Graakuh agurr, Potter!" The largest Goblin bellowed out after seeing Harry approaching. The rest of the Goblins stopped their looting to form up into a strong formation, their oddly lustrous, yet dull, shields in the front.
Harry didn't say anything, he merely swiped Aethereum upwards at a forty-five degree angle. A wave of pure force went blitzing down the street and blasted apart the formation instantly. The shields buckled under the oppressive force, Goblins were thrown backwards like they'd been hit by a speeding truck, all from a single swing of the sword.
"Rakaarh…murhk…" The large Goblin that appeared to be the leader of this Goblin force staggered to his feet. Seeing so many of his group dead from a single attack put a cold fear into his heart. Their shields and armor were made to repel even powerful spells and kinetic force…yet Harry Potter had invalidated all of it with a mere swing from one of his Artifacts.
The Goblin leader didn't get to be confused or fearful for long. A second swing of Harry's sword and his head went flying off to crash to the street a few meters away. Harry glanced at the dead Goblins dispassionately, using his Occlumency to separate himself from the act of taking life for now. He'd have time to process everything after the Goblin Horde of Gringotts had been stopped.
"Where's the next group?" Harry asked himself as he started to float off the ground. A blast from further away got his attention and he flew towards it, Aethereum held at the ready.
-Fleur-
"Burn." Fleur looked down on the large group of Goblins practically marching down one of the many streets of London. She let her Magic flow and settle over the armored Goblins before sparking it.
Fwoooooossshhh
Flames erupted around each individual Goblin like a localized inferno.
"AAAUUUGGGHHH!"
"GRRAAAKK!"
"RAUAUUUHH!"
The Goblins screamed and bellowed in agony as they burned. Their armor, meant to resist spells and force, began to glow from the intensity of the flames, turning red hot. The air around them thinned and burned, making taking a breath near impossible. Shields clattered to the ground as the Goblins thrashed and screamed, trying to escape the swirling flames that clung to their bodies. Their agony was over a short time later as they died, their charred corpses lying across the street in a horrifying scene that would make other Goblins that saw it retreat.
Fleur's power alone was impressive. But it was her absolute control of her flames that was even more spectacular. Not a single thing on the street had burned, except for the Goblins. There weren't even any scorch marks on the pavement despite the conflagration that had taken place not even a minute ago.
As Fleur flew away towards the sounds of more fighting, she left behind charred Goblin bodies nearly encased in half-melted armor. A testament to the power that the Goblins' greed had brought upon themselves.
-Penny-
"Sand Veils All!" Penny threw her right hand into the air as she cast her original spell. Every tiny piece of grit and dust in the area rose up and began to swirl around in a powerful gale, forming a miniature sandstorm in seconds.
Needless to say, but the Goblins caught in her spell weren't having a good time.
"This way!" Penny called out to the fleeing civilians and the two police officers that had been trying to evacuate them.
"Thank you!" One of the police officers called out as the group of people made it around the corner and started heading for the nearest fortified area that had been set up for evacuees.
Penny held out her hands, her normally kind face twisting into a scowl of focus and anger. She clenched her hands into fists and the swirling sandstorm began to spin faster and faster. In seconds the wind was screaming and it was almost loud enough to drown out the Goblin's screeching in agony within the sandstorm. Every tiny bit of grit and sand was now moving at such intense speeds that they flayed skin and flesh when they struck. The Goblins were quite literally being sanded down as if they were surrounded on all sides by belt sanders.
"Monsters." Penny said quietly as the sand took on a darker coloration the longer she kept the sandstorm spinning at such intense speeds. The blood of the dying Goblins was staining and mixing with the sand and wind as they were slowly torn apart, unable to escape the powerful gales that brought about their demise.
-Tonks-
Auror Robards and his team were gritting their teeth as they held up their strongest Protego Maxima spells to protect the people that they'd found running from part of the Goblin horde. They'd initially struck out against the Goblins, but their spells proved much less effective than they expected because of the armor and shields that the Goblins had. The tide had quickly turned when a second force of Goblins had come from behind and they'd had to focus on two fronts to keep the people safe.
"Damn it! We need backup!" One of the Aurors called out.
Bam
Bam
Bam
Bam
Four more of the metal bolts from the Goblins slammed into the shields they were maintaining.
The Non-Magical were crying out in fear and panic, many were in tears, and some looked like they wanted to bolt, but there was nowhere to run. The Goblins continued to get closer and closer, their shield wall making the spells of the Aurors less effective or nullifying them outright, while the bolts they fired forced the Wizards and Witches to focus almost solely on defense as they tried to protect the people.
RMMMWWWWSSSSHHHH
The sound of raring water filled the air, startling both the Goblins and the humans. Water rushed out of every alleyway like a river on all sides and engulfed the Goblins, submerging them before forming into spinning rapids all contained in two large spheres of water.
The Goblins flailed and struggled against the powerful currents, panic filling them as they couldn't breathe and their armor made it impossible for them to even attempt to swim. Their shields that were supposed to protect them from spells were dragged around by the powerful water and slammed into multiple Goblins, bloodying them or outright killing a few.
A moment later and the raging rapids froze over entirely, turning to ice faster than should be possible…if one went by the laws of thermodynamics. Magic had a tendency to toss the laws of reality on their heads whenever it suited the one casting the spell. All that remained of the once strong Goblin forces that had been trying to kill the people were two massive spheres of ice sitting on the road. If one looked closely, they could even see Goblins frozen within through the semi-opaqueness of the ice. Several of the Goblins had looks of terror on their faces as if they'd been trying to scream while they drowned.
"Auror Tonks, reporting in." Tonks flew down to the ground as Robards and the other Aurors dropped their Shield Charms.
Robards had never been happier to see the younger Auror since she'd joined the force. "Well met, Auror Tonks. You really saved all of us there!"
Tonks shook the older Aurors hand with a brief smile. "The shields and armor are enchanted to help block spells and kinetic force. But they don't do anything against conjuring water." She tapped one of the giant ice spheres to exemplify what she meant. "Can you spread the word?"
"Of course!" Robards pulled out a Peony Communications mirror and hit a few numbers before holding it up to his face. "Scrimgeour, sir! We've found a weakness in the Goblins' armor and shields! Conjure water and control it! Auror Tonks just took out a force numbering several dozen by trapping them in large amounts of water and then freezing it!"
"Bloody good job, Tonks!" Scrimgeour's voice came through the mirror loud enough for the Metamorphmagus to hear. "Continue to spread this information to all Aurors!" There was a second of silence before Scrimgeour's voice bellowed out loudly from the mirror again. "Aguamenti Tria Maxima!" The call cut off a half-second later.
-Fortified Evacuation Point-
Nigel Baker, police captain, had never expected the reveal of Magic to lead to a Goblin attack on London. The people of London had never known what lay beneath their feet, just biding its time to attack! Thankfully, as a captain, he'd been given one of the new communication mirrors to contact the Aurors…magic police, when any crime committed by Magic had been suspected or confirmed. With it he'd been able to contact the Madam Bones woman and get the much needed help of the Witches and Wizards.
"Right fast way to set up an evac area." Nigel muttered to himself as he was at one of the entryways to the almost bunker-like fortification that the Aurors had made with a few flicks and swishes of their wands. The stone and concrete of the roads and nearby buildings had warped and moved under their magic to form the large bunker that was currently housing almost a thousand people already. The stone had been further fortified by various colorful spells and they had four Aurors and three Hit Wizards with them to protect them from any Goblins that showed up.
The communication mirror in his hand buzzed and Nigel swiftly took the call. "Captain Baker."
"Captain, sir! We have another group heading your way! Is the path clear?!" Another police officer asked through the mirror, his face sweaty and the view moving about a lot as the man ran with what sounded like a couple dozen people with him.
Nigel blinked, not recognizing the man on the other side of the mirror. "We can take them in, of course, but who are you? Identify yourself, officer."
"Constable Turner, sir." The now-named Turner answered. "I picked up this mirror from Sergeant Parker after…well, the Goblins…" He didn't finish and Captain Baker didn't need him to.
"That's fine, you're doing well, the path is clear at the moment, so hurry to our location." Nigel gave the other man what assurances and encouragement he could through the mirror.
-Order of the Phoenix-
Dumbledore and the Order arrived in London amid a series of cracks from Apparation. What they saw was horrible in ways that Voldemort never was during his first rise to power. Bodies were littering the street, innocent Muggles that had just been going about their lives, only to be brutally cut down for no reason other than Goblins not caring about anyone but themselves.
"Move in groups of three and save as many as you can." Dumbledore instructed the Order members with a steel-like voice. "Alastor, Minerva, please come with me."
The rest of the Order quickly moved out, splitting off from each other in clouds of white smoke that allowed them to travel much faster than they could run.
The group of Dumbledore, Moody, and Minerva only made it to the next intersection before they were set upon by a small horde of Goblins.

A barrage of bolts headed for the three without so much as a word.
Minerva narrowed her eyes and with a swish of her wand all of the bolts turned into feathers that lost their momentum and fluttered to the ground.
Alastor fired back first with both his wand and his walking cane. "You Goblin bastards!" A purple spell and an oddly grey spell both rocketed down the street at the horde. The shield wall braced to block the two spells easily, but what they weren't expecting was for the two spells to collide with each other.
WHUMP
The air almost seemed to roil from the point of impact. The two spells vanished as the area around them warped and bent unnaturally, looking much like a funhouse mirror. The Goblins' bodies stretched and contorted, even though their armor and shields didn't. This caused them a great deal of pain as their flesh bulged and shrank within the confines of their armor while they dropped their shields as their hands and fingers repeatedly changed sizes.
Dumbledore made two loops and a swish with his oddly knotted wand before pointing it at the street.
Rmmmbbbllleee
The ground shook briefly before the concrete and pavement suddenly rose up like a wave of mud and engulfed the flailing and panicked Goblins. The Goblins were covered and then went silent as the muck crushed them before hardening back into large chunks of pavement and concrete.
"We should make our way through the city and erect wards to prevent Goblins from passing." Dumbledore said, clearly a bit detached from what he'd just done, a sure sign of Occlumency being used.
"Aye." Alastor nodded to his old friend.
"Yes, that would be for the best." Minerva agreed as she brought her wand to bare and began an intricate series of movements.
The Goblins would slowly, but surely, find more and more parts of the city inaccessible to them as temporary Wards forced them away.
-Harry-
The honking of the red double-decker bus caught Harry's attention. He watched as the iconic vehicle of London smashed through a group of Goblins without slowing down. Whoever was driving it was trying to navigate a street filled with crashed and abandoned cars. From what Harry could tell, at least a dozen, if not more, people were on the bus and holding on for dear life as the driver tried to get them away from the Goblins that were seemingly everywhere.
Crash
Krak
Clang
Three metal bolts tore through the bus, damaging it significantly and making the engine die. The red double decker continued to roll forward, but was clearly losing speed.
The Goblin horde that had been scattered by the speeding vehicle (those that were still alive at any rate) had quickly regrouped and started chasing after the bus.
"None of that now." Harry flew forward, easily passing the Goblins, and got to the damaged bus first. "Where are you headed?" He asked the driver, an older man that had clearly seen hell today judging by the bloodstains on his blue button-up shirt and the almost wild look in his eyes.
"There's a fortified area at the end of the road and to the left. Witches and Wizards are there to protect people along with the police." The man answered the obvious Wizard in front of him. "I used to drive buses like this when I was younger…I wanted to get everyone there…" He sounded defeated as the screeching and bellowing of the approaching Goblin horde mixed with the screams and panic of the passengers on the bus.
Harry slapped the red metal of the bus and cast an Animation Charm on it. The wheels began to move again and the driver blinked in shock. The engine clearly wasn't running, but the bus began to move and pick up speed. "I just cast a Charm on the bus, the wheels will continue to roll forward until you hit the brake. You might have to take the turn a bit wide, but that shouldn't be too hard, right?" He smiled at the older man with a roguish grin.
"Bloody right." The old man had the life return to his eyes as the bus kept going and he turned the wheel to avoid another abandoned car. "What're you going to do?"
"I'll stop them." Harry said as he flew away from the bus and back towards the chasing Goblins. Seeing the bus escaping at a decent speed given the road littered with other vehicles, Harry smiled, knowing the people should make it safely to the fortified area.

More bolts were fired at the retreating double-decker bus, but they stopped dead as they slammed into a massive Protego that crossed the entire street.
"Who wants daddy's belt?" Harry turned to look at the Goblin horde with a cold anger in his eyes. He swung Aethereum and unleashed another massive wave of force that blasted the entire horde backwards and through the air. Several came down hard and didn't move again, other Goblins quickly scrambled back to their feet as fast as they could.
"Krugh mokr varl, Potter!" One of the Goblins snarled at Harry.
Harry didn't know Gobbledegook, nor did he care to learn, so he didn't worry about what the Goblin had just said. Electricity arced along the length of Aethereum's blade before Harry stabbed the sword forward in a textbook thrust.
KRAKBOOM
A bolt of lightning blasted across the length of the street, frying every Goblin it passed with the intensity of its power. Their armor simply couldn't hold back such a powerful spell. The Goblins fell dead, their corpses smoking as their insides were cooked by the residual heat from the massively overpowered Fulmen Curse.
Harry wasn't even breathing hard. That was almost entirely Aethereum's innate power. He had only had to use a small fraction of his total reserves so far. "Now, how do we stem the horde coming up from the Underground?" He flew towards one of the nearest Underground entrances and swiped Aethereum again as he saw more Goblins emerging from below.
BAM
The entrance to the Underground was torn asunder, and the Goblins along with it. Harry swiped his hand to the side, throwing the rubble away and flew down into the Underground a second later. It didn't take him more than a handful of seconds to spot the massive hole in the wall that the Goblins had tunneled through to make this attack.
"Revelio." Harry pointed Aethereum at the hole and a pulse raced down it lighting up whenever it encountered anything. "One, two, three, five…ten…twenty…thirty…" Harry counted off as more and more 'pings' were sent by the spell as it passed through the length of the tunnel. "How large was Gringotts horde?"
Given that over fifty more Goblins were apparently coming through the tunnel, Harry decided to close this avenue of attack…with his own attack.
Flames snapped to life and roared around Aethereum's blade. Harry began to sweat from his proximity to the fire as it went from red-orange to yellow-orange to yellow-white into dazzling white and then into blue like the center of a flame…the hottest part in excess of three-thousand-degrees. With another textbook perfect thrust of the Artifact Sword, a screaming hellfire of blue flames rocketed down the Goblin-made tunnel.
If the Goblins had any time to scream before they died, Harry wouldn't have been able to hear it anyway over the roar of the flames he was unleashing. He kept the massively overpowered spell going for a solid minute before the flames guttered out and Aethereum's blade let off smoke.
The tunnel was completely glowing, molten rock now. The entire passage for as far as the eye could see was running lava, impassable by the Goblins unless they spent much time and effort to cool it and stabilize the tunnel. With the way the molten ceiling was dripping slowly onto the equally molten floor, it was unlikely the Goblins would try to continue using this particular tunnel.
"How many Underground entrances are there in London?" Harry wondered as he flew out from below ground. Depending on the number it may or may not be feasible for him to try and close off every one of them the same way.
-Fortified Area-
A red double-decker bus rolled into the area under the astonished gazes of four police officers. The reason for their astonishment was obvious as the bus was a wreck and there was a large hole straight through where the engine resided. The brake was applied and the bus stopped. The doors opened and people began to exit quickly.
"Homenum Revelio!" One of the Hit Wizards cast and the pulse spread throughout the area. "They're all human." He confirmed for the police officers as they allowed the people into the transfigured bunker-like fortification.
The last person off was the driver, an older man in a bloodstained blue button-up shirt. He approached the officers and was asked about the bus. "How did I drive it here? The young man Wizard with the sword said he cast a Charm on it."
"Wizard with a sword?" The Hit Wizard looked confused before he thought about it for a moment. "Harry Potter is here?!"
"Who?" The four police officers asked at the same time.
The Hit Wizard reminded himself that they were Non-Magical and wouldn't have known about Harry Potter since Halloween of Eighty-One like Magical Britain had. "Youngest Artificer in history, first Master Artificer in centuries, and easily one of the most powerful Wizards in Britain despite his young age." The Wizard explained to the police officers. "If that sword is the one I heard about, a single swing of it could decimate a group of these Goblins easily."
"That sounds reassuring, at least." One of the police officers said with a small grin.
"I hope he hurries up with it then." Another officer said, grimacing at the damage already done to London and the ongoing attack.
BRRROOOOUUUUAAAAHHHWWW
A loud horn sounded throughout all of London.
Nothing like an air raid siren or the like. No, this one sounded like a horn of old, one used to signal armies in the distant past. Shortly after the horn sounded, there came a sound, steady, strong, and getting louder. Only after the sound had gone on for a bit did people start to realize that it was the sound of numerous footsteps, all marching in step with each other.
-Tonks-
"Well…that didn't take as long as we thought." Tonks grinned at hearing the horn and the slow but rhythmic marching of heavy feet.
"What the hell was that?!" Robards called up to her.
Tonks looked down with a laugh. "Reinforcements!"
-Penny-
"This way! Please follow me!" Penny had an ever shifting wall of sand surrounding the group of roughly thirty people she was guiding to the nearest fortified area. Outside of the slow moving wall of sand were the broken and dead forms of dozens of Goblins. Any that tried to attack were grabbed by the sand and crushed, or blasted by sandstone chunks the size of cinderblocks, or even just buried alive until they suffocated under a massive pile of sand.
BRRROOOOUUUUAAAAHHHWWW
The loud horn resounding throughout the air startled the people with Penny.
"What was that?!"
"Fuckin' hell!"
"Are we gonna die?!"
Penny flew upwards until she made it above the rooftops of the nearby buildings. What she saw in the distance made her smile brightly before she floated back down into the center of her sand spell. "That was the horn of Dwarven reinforcements coming to London's aid."
"Huh?" A chunk of the people said at the same time.
-Fleur-
"It seems you all know what that sound means as well." Fleur grinned at the still living Goblins before her.
The entire area was littered with dead Goblins. Some were burned black, armor and all. Others looked to have been crushed by incredibly heavy objects, though said objects were nowhere in sight. Others still had no marks on them, but their faces showed strain and had a blue or purple tint to them with prominent tear stains tracking down their faces from their nearly bulging eyes. It was obvious they'd all somehow suffocated to death.
"Garlk utte kremnah!" One of the Goblins hollered loudly as the remaining Goblins started backing away from Fleur before turning and running.
"Hmm… If I remember correctly…" Fleur recalled her time learning some of the Goblin Language back when she considered being a Curse Breaker for a career. "Oh! They want to fall back and regroup." She reached out with her Magic and raised both of her hands.
FWOOOOOSSSHHH
A massive wall of flames rose up from seemingly nothing and cut off the Goblins retreat.
"There will be none of that." Fleur stated with finality as she pulled her arms inward and the roaring wall of flames engulfed the Goblins before they could even scream.
-Dumbledore, Minerva, Alastor-
"Am I seeing things correctly?" Minerva asked as a large force of fully armored and armed Dwarves marched down the streets of London, stomping over Goblin corpses in the process.
Alastor's magical false eye spun around in his socket a few times. "Aye, unless both my eyes are seeing things that aren't here."
The large Goblin horde that the three of them had been about to engage with all started snarling and screeching at the Dwarves that were marching forward. The horde quickly grouped up and made their own formation to stand against the Dwarves.
"Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!" The Dwarves roared out their battle cry, their footsteps like thunder as they marched, only to come to a stop a distance away from the Goblin formation.
King Drasurd stepped out front, in his hands the gleaming Sword of Erdunn. With two hands he held the sword, raising it above his head. A powerful swing, like lightning striking from the heavens onto a mountain, was unleashed. A wave of force shook the air and the ground alike from the swing. The Goblins' lost their footing as the ground shook beneath them, their weakened shield wall unable to stop the force that crashed into it a second later.
Goblins went flying, the formation scattered and failing. Several Goblins lay on the ground, unmoving, while others scrambled to their feet and picked up their weapons again. They were clearly trying to recover their formation, but were having a difficult time because of the sudden loss of many of their kin.
"Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!" Drasurd roared loudly, raising the Sword of Erdunn high.
"Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!" His army roared back, the air and the ground seeming to rumble at their great war cry.
The Dwarves marched forward, meeting the still unprepared Goblins (those that weren't already trying to flee) and speared them down from behind their moving shield wall. Goblins that tried to attack by slipping between the spears were met with an axe to the skull for their trouble by the shield bearers. The corpses of the Goblins that were on the ground were stomped beneath heavy iron and leather boots as the Dwarves advanced forward, killing every Goblin that was in their sight.
Buwwoooo Buwwoooo
A different horn rang out and was repeated further away and then further still as the signal traveled across the battlefield that London had become.
-King Ragnok-
"He's here?!" Ragnok shot to his feet with a snarl, his fangs gnashing together in rage. "With MY sword?!" The fact that he'd been tricked by a human child years ago still burned to this day and now, with physical proof that the sword had made it back into the hands of the Dwarves, that burning humiliation was once more pressed into his mind and heart. "I'll KILL the Dwarf King myself!" He hefted his wicked and jagged black sword and marched out of his mobile throne with purpose, his putrid, dark green Magic seeping off his form and surrounding the wicked sword. "NUUHAH RAH ORCUL KURR!"
"RAAAAHHHH!" The armored and armored Goblins around him screeched back, a force numbering almost two-thousand strong.
Ragnok stalked forward, past the mounds of valuables that had already been raided from London and piled up in this place that they'd taken as their forward base. He'd soon have all of it moved to his coffers below ground in Gringotts, his hoard would only grow! And soon he'd be adding the Sword of Erdunn to his collection, along with the head of Drasurd, the Dwarf King!
-Dwarf Army-
"Place the Wards!" Drad ordered with a bellowing yell.
Dwarves quickly moved from the main force to embed metal devices within the building walls that they were passing. The items didn't look like much, but that was by Dwarven design. Now that they were set and active, a powerful Anti-Goblin Ward would spread across the area for a day, and could be recharged when its Magic ran low to continue maintaining the ward.
A large swath of London was about to be completely inaccessible to the Goblin horde of Gringotts. The longer the Dwarves marched, the more Goblins were killed and the more territory the Erdunn Dwarves took back for their ancient allies, the humans.
"Should we try talking to them?" Minerva asked Dumbledore.
"I don't believe they would listen to any of us, Minerva." Dumbledore shook his head. "These are the Erdunn Dwarves, the only Wizard they have a known relationship with is Mr. Potter."
"That means the lad is somewhere in all this mess." Alastor mentioned as his magical eyes spun in its socket as if trying to find Harry's location.
Dumbledore nodded in agreement. "I believe that is the case as well, Alastor." He moved forward, following a parallel path to the Dwarf Army's. "If we want to find Mr. Potter, I believe all we need to do is follow his Dwarven allies."
-Harry-
"They got here faster than I thought." Harry smiled after hearing the loud horn. "I should keep doing my part." He transfigured dozens of slides out of destroyed cars and placed the various lengths of metal at multiple windows along a damaged and partially ransacked building. "Please slide down so that you can get to safety! The Goblins in this area have been dealt with!"
People that had been watching the flying Wizard with the sword from the windows began to open them and get onto the slides. After having watched the young man slay the horde of Goblins besieging their building, none of them were planning on questioning him for saving their lives. As the people slid down to ground level, Harry surrounded them with a massive Protego Maxima with a wave of Aethereum.
"We'll be heading west from here to a large fortified area! It's a bit of a walk, but nothing will harm you while I'm here!" Harry promised the terrified people with all of the confidence that he could project.
Once the Dwarven Army helped them push back the Goblins, then the next phase of this Goblin Rebellion could begin. Pushing into Gringotts and finally exterminating the lot of the greedy monsters!
' I'm sure the Dwarves are eager to get back the tunnels that used to be theirs before they were taken and given to the Goblins.' Harry thought to himself, still wondering why the Witches and Wizards of the bygone age had trusted Goblins over Dwarves. Goblins had always been a nuisance at best and a hostile enemy at worst. Dwarves had been allies with humans for ages and had never once waged war against the armies of man. "Well, it's about time to correct that age-old mistake." Harry said to himself quietly as he waited for the rest of the people in the building to reach the street so that he could guide them to safety.
It had only been a few hours since the beginning of the Goblin attack on London, but already the news had spread across the world. Several other countries, and their Magical governments, all began making preparations for a potential attack from the Goblins on their own soil.
In his endless, reckless greed…Ragnok had no idea of the position he'd placed Goblins all around the world in. Those that were quietly biding their time for their own next rebellion would soon be cursing his name as their plans were ruined or set back for who knew how long. The Goblins would curse Ragnok's name for his impetuousness until their last breaths!
