Author's Note: So, this idea suddenly popped into my head and I just had to write it.

Disclaimer: No, I do not own Harry Potter, and I most certainly am not J. K. Rowling.

"Well, Astoria, what do you think of Draco Malfoy?" asked my friend all of a sudden.

We were sitting in the Slytherin Common Room near the fireplace, trying to build a castle using our pack of Exploding Snap. Hearing that question almost made me knock over the half-completed building. After ensuring its safety, I turned to look at my friend.

"W-what did you say?"

"You heard me very clearly, Astoria. I asked, what do you think of Draco Malfoy? And be honest." said my friend, repeating the question.

"Uh, well, that's a bit personal, don't you think?"

"Nuh-uh. Friends are supposed to tell each other everything, aren't they, Astoria?"

"Er, yeah. Okay, I'll tell ya, but only because you're my best friend. So, Draco Malfoy. Well, he is a bit of a spoiled brat, but he can be totally sweet at times. He can be really selfish at times, but I think that's just because of the way he was brought up. I personally think that he's misunderstood, truthfully. He is also loyal to his friends. Friends, not minions like Crabbe and Goyle. Moreover, he can be extremely protective of his family. He isn't completely stupid, he's one of the top five students of his year, I've heard. He's also quite talented at Potions too. I've also seen him in the Library quite a few times, as well as in the common room reading a book, too. And . . . he's somewhat good-looking, I suppose."

I was pretty sure that my cheeks were burning by the time I finished. And the response my friend gave didn't help my case at all.

"You're totally in love, Astoria," she said, laughing, no doubt at my expression.

I glared at her. "I am so not." Truthfully, I wasn't sure if I was convincing her or myself.

"Yeah, sure." She's mocking me by now.

"I'm telling the truth!"

"Well, then how do you know so much about him, huh?"

"I'm an observant person!"

"Yeah, and I'm the Minister of Magic!"

We continued like that for a while.

Years later, whenever I thought of this conversation I would always laugh, only to be sent weird looks from my husband Draco. How do I know that? Well, I am observant, you know. What, you don't believe me?

Author's Note: Yeah, I know this is short, but whatever. I haven't written a Drastoria fic yet, and it's one of my favorite ships. All reviews are welcome!
