Sorry if the dialogue is super boring, I am not really good at writing conversations. Tell me what you think in the reviews!
May waited for the night to be over. And waited. And waited some more. She dug up the dirt to see if it was day yet, but it wasn't, so she waited even more.
Finally she went out of her hole, and the sun started to come up. It seemed like she couldn't sleep at night. That would be annoying if every time it was night she had to dig a hole and wait for night to be over.
May looked at the land around her. On one side of the river there was the jungle with the house that shot arrows. On the other (the side that she was on) it was flat and she could see for miles. She decided to walk along the river on the flat side. That way she could see any enemies or food coming towards her.
She walked, and walked. If there was food she killed it. Her cat Brownie followed behind her. It was dusk when she saw something in the distance. It looked like a house!
May started running to the house. Hopefully there weren't any green people at the house, and she could spend the night there. As she got closer, she saw someone moving around. He looked alot like her, except that he was a boy.
"Hey, you!" she shouted at him.
"What?" he said irritably. That he turned to her and his expression changed.
"I was wondering if I could spend the night here. I don't want to run into any green people." May said.
"Green people? You mean zombies?" he said, grinning.
"Those were zombies?" she asked, surprised.
"Yes. How are you here if you don't even know what a zombie is?" he asked.
"Um… well…wait, are you stuck here too?" May asked. He could just be a person in the game.
"Yeh. I've been trying to get out for a few… I don't know how long. Months? Years? Time is different in Minecraft. "
"Oh. I was kind of hoping that you would know the way out."
"Nope. What's your name?"
"It's May. What's yours?"
"It's Wyatt." He said. "Do you want to come in?"
"Sure. Can Brownie come in too?" May asked.
The inside of his house was really plain. There was a bed, a strange cube, a trunk and an oven looking thingy.
"You can use the bed, I'll keep watch for monsters." said Wyatt.
"Wait, there's more monsters other than zombies?' asked May.
"Umm… yeah. Have you never played Minecraft before or something?" asked Wyatt.
"Actually, I haven't." May confessed.
"Wait, than how did you get sucked into the game?" Wyatt said, looking shocked.
May told him everything. The virus, the birthday present, the accident, everything. After she was done, it was already deep into the night.
Wyatt was silent for a moment, then started to talk. "The reason that I was so surprised that you didn't know about Minecraft was that when I was sucked in, I was super good at it. My parents were really supportive of me playing it, and I played it all the time. Then one day, when I was creating a new world, I was sucked in. It took a while to get used to being in the game, but eventually I got the hang of it. I built a house, started a garden, and have been living here ever since."
"I wonder why we were sucked in." said May.
"No clue." said Wyatt. "Well, get some sleep. I'll get back to watching for monsters."
He left the room. May lay on the bed. Would she finally be able to sleep? She went over to it, and as soon as she lay down, she was asleep.
Alright, that's all for now. Sorry about the long wait!
