A/N: I should honestly be focusing on my other fanfics, but this idea wouldn't leave my head. This is my first attempt at a Harry Potter-Katekyo Hitman Reborn crossover fic so I hope y'all come to like it c: This is set after the KHR manga.

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter nor do I own Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I wish I did, though. (Also, if anyone's had a similar idea before, I was not aware :c)

Pairing/s: Undecided (leaning towards Reborn/fem!Harry cos it's Reborn… and his adult self… is hot…). And while this is undecided, the cover will be Xanxus first, and then I'll change it to whoever she'll be paired with.

Also please don't expect frequent updates for this, since my focus will still be my other two fanfics (Scarlet, for Kuroko no Basuke, and A Different Ball Game, a KnB-KHR crossover, if y'all wanna check them out).

Will also be using 'they' pronouns for Mammon and Luss!

When Xanxus went to England for a well-deserved break from his Varia duties, he had planned to get drunk on whiskey and tequila, or maybe pick up ideas for weapons, or just finding a place where he and Bester could just relax and be away from all the trash in Italy. He didn't expect his Intuition to screech at him when he passed by a neighborhood called Privet Drive, but he was never one to ignore it.

He walked through the quiet neighborhood, expected considering it was only one in the morning. His Intuition's screeching got louder, so whatever was causing it to act that way must be close. He heard two loud cracks a few blocks away, and his Intuition told him to go there, so he quickened his pace and made it towards the house with the #4.

Nothing was odd about the house. It looked just as plain as the other houses in the neighborhood. His red eyes swept the area before it landed on a bundle of cloth on the doorstep. He silently made his way there, gaze sharpening when he noticed that it was a baby, left unprotected and with only an envelope, perhaps a letter addressed to the residents of the house.

It was disgusting to see. Whoever left the baby could have given it more protection, maybe a basket, or the like. Xanxus wasn't one for kids, however, so while he didn't like what he was seeing, it wasn't as if he could really do anything about a kid he didn't know about. Yet, his Intuition told him to save the child, save the child, savethechild— so he gave in to his Intuition and awkwardly took the child in his arms. He also pocketed the letter that was with the child and turned around, intent on heading back to Italy.

"VOIIIIIIIIIII! What the fuck are you doing with a kid, shitty boss?" Mammon could hear Squalo say. Mammon was surprised to hear that Xanxus had returned, since Mammon was sure that Xanxus wanted to spend his break unbothered. Something must have happened for him to return so early.

Mammon floated all the way to the dining hall, where they could see Levi and Squalo looking rather worried, and only when they saw what Xanxus was holding that they stopped. "Boss. Why do you have Harriet Potter with you?"

Xanxus turned to look at him. "The runt's name is Harriet Potter?"

Mammon nodded, drifting closer and spotting the lightning-shaped scar on the baby's forehead. "Savior of the Wizarding World as of a while ago. My informant told me that this child is the reason why all the wizards and witches are celebrating right now."

Xanxus huffed before sitting down on his chair and ordering one of the maids to bring him a bottle of whiskey. Once the bottle arrived, he dismissed her and took a drink from it before gesturing for Mammon to elaborate.

It didn't escape Mammon's notice that Xanxus was still holding on to the kid.

"As I've mentioned before, I come from a magical society," Mammon said, taking their seat on the dining hall. "It also had racism, of sorts, when it came to blood. If you were a pureblood, you were placed on a pedestal, and if you were a Muggleborn, you were looked down upon. A Dark Lord named Voldemort wanted to rule the society, to drive out the Muggleborns and to make sure magic was kept within the Purebloods and the occasional Halfblood. It appears, however, that Harriet Potter was able to kill Voldemort. How, my informant is unsure, but with how the people are celebrating, I can assume that whatever Harriet Potter did was enough to remove Voldemort's threat."

This explanation caused Xanxus to glance at the child curiously. "This little brat killed a fully-trained wizard? That's what they're saying?"

Squalo frowned. "VOI, sounds fishy to me. Kid doesn't even look two years old."

"I could do some investigating," Mammon said, "for a price to be collected at a later date."

"Then do it, trash," Xanxus said.

Little Harriet was a rather well-behaved baby, quiet but always happy and giggling when given attention. It came as a surprise to everyone when Harriet became very attached to Belphegor, of all people. Of course, the prince had been warned about the child, and that he should be keeping his knives away from her. Bel had insisted that Harriet was going to be his new toy once she grew up, since Fran was getting boring, ushishishi but when he finally saw the girl, he was surprised when she grasped his finger and smiled.

Now, when anyone even looked at Harriet in the wrong way, they would find themselves wetting their pants by the creepy smile Prince the Ripper would give them.

.

.

Fran was pretty much indifferent to most things that happened around him. When Xanxus had brought home a baby of all things, though, Fran became curious and spent a few minutes having a staring contest with the baby before she blinked and reached out towards him. Hesitantly, and with Xanxus' permission (since the boss seemed pretty attached to the baby, he was the one who brought her to headquarters, anyways), he held the baby and created an illusion of a lollipop.

He held out the lollipop to her and her hand, in an attempt to take it from him, swatted through air. He fully expected her to cry, but instead she had giggled and Fran spent the rest of the time creating random illusions for her to enjoy.

.

.

Lussuria had squealed when they had seen Harriet, cuddling the baby and cooing at her every now and then. Lussuria had found it adorable when they heard that Xanxus had brought the girl home because his Intuition had told him to. Lussuria loved having a girl in headquarters. Sure, there were the occasional female recruits, but it wasn't as if Lussuria interacted with them a lot. Here, however, was an opportunity for Lussuria to doll the girl up and Lussuria was excited for when the girl was old enough to have girl talks.

As the main Healer in the Varia, Lussuria had taken it upon themselves to give Harriet regular check-ups and to create a meal plan for the little girl to grow up healthy. Lussuria knew that, being raised by the Varia, the girl would eventually have to learn to fight, maybe not to be a part of the Varia squads, but to at least be able to defend herself. As such, having a healthy body was simply a must.

.

.

Surprisingly, it was Levi who knew how to take care of a baby, as he was the one teaching the others how to hold Harriet properly, how often she should probably be fed, and what kind of foods she would need. He revealed to the others that he had helped take care of his little sister when she was born, so he knew how things had to be done.

Levi was also gentle with the girl, which was odd considering he snarked at anyone, aside from the other Varia Guardians, who came close to Xanxus, but he seemed to have taken a liking to the little girl.

.

.

Squalo didn't know how to interact with a baby. As a child prodigy in the sword arts, his time was filled with training and education, and he quickly became mature. It didn't help that because of that, he didn't have a lot of friends, only really sticking to Dino, who treated him normally.

Raising Bel didn't count. Bel was psychotic and wasn't a baby when he came to the Varia, so having to take care of a little girl who was innocent and hadn't really gone through any violence (well, aside from her parents dying and that odd little scar on her forehead) made Squalo wary of doing anything near her.

Levi had taken one look at Squalo and rolled his eyes at him before placing little Harriet in Squalo's arms. Squalo had promptly frozen, not knowing what to do and holding Harriet a few inches away from him. But when she took one look at him and smiled a gummy smile, well, no one could really blame Squalo for moving her a little closer to him.

.

.

Xanxus honestly didn't know why his Intuition told him to take care of the girl, but his Guardians took that as a sign that he was to be the one who mainly responsible for the girl and how she grew up. As someone who had grown up with a mother (mentally ill, yes, but she had her moments) for a few years, and despite growing up impoverished, he had a few ideas on how to at least communicate with little Harriet. With Levi's help, Xanxus quickly learned how diapers had to be changed and how to make her burp.

Since Harriet's existence was only known by Xanxus and the other Varia Officers, there was no chance of anyone giggling at the sight of Xanxus trying to change her diaper after dinner. Of course, Squalo took pictures for blackmail material (earning him a wine glass thrown at his head), but it was worth the hassle. After all, who could say that they had seen the Varia Boss taking care of a kid?

Xanxus had just rolled his eyes at his Guardians' antics.

A few weeks later, Harriet had said her first word: "Papa".

Xanxus couldn't even throw a tequila bottle at Belphegor when the blonde took a video of it happening, of Harriet's adorable little smile beaming at Xanxus, who had frozen at that one word.

.

.

After a year of taking care of little Harriet Potter, Mammon had been able to confirm that Harriet was supposed to go to her godfather, Sirius Black. However, he was accused of being the one that had sold out the Potters, causing Harriet's parents to die, and for Sirius himself to be locked up in Azkaban. It was also revealed that Albus Dumbledore named himself as Harriet's magical guardian, which, Mammon knew, shouldn't have been allowed unless Albus Dumbledore was on the list of people that would have gained custody of Harriet Potter.

That meant a trip to Gringotts to verify who Harriet's guardian should be, along with Harriet's financial statements and accounts, which Mammon really wanted to see.

So Mammon had taken Xanxus and Harriet with them to Gringotts, covering all three of them with Mist Flames to prevent possible detection from Albus Dumbledore and his minions. And there, they found out that Albus Dumbledore should not have been Harriet's magical guardian, but it wasn't as if the goblins at Gringotts could do anything about it. What they could do was inform Mammon that blood adopting Harriet was a possible option, along with removing what they could sense was an evil presence lurking in Harriet's scar.

After thirty minutes of waiting for the blood adoption to work (Xanxus and Harriet had both given a few drops of blood for that, and Xanxus had pride in his eyes when Harriet hadn't even flinched when blood was taken from her), and after a grueling eighteen minutes of hearing Harriet's pained screams from the purification ritual to get rid of whatever was in her scar, Mammon, Xanxus, and Harriet left Gringotts with Xanxus having full custody of the newly-named Adrianna di Vongola and her assets (a consequence of Xanxus' Intuition telling him to just claim the girl as yours, your little brat).

All without letting Albus Dumbledore know.

For now.

(To be safe, Mammon made sure to work with Verde to ward the Varia Headquarters well. Verde had not been informed of the reason behind the wards, but since he had been promised three new high-quality Moscas, he didn't have a reason to pry.)

.

.

Adrianna di Vongola was a happy kid. Her silky black hair flowed all the way to three inches below her shoulders and her bright emerald eyes weren't covered by glasses (the way they would have been in another world, had Xanxus not gone to England). She had grown up to an above average height for someone her age and she was on the way to becoming fluent in Italian, French, and English. She was also learning algebra and science on the side, though she had taken more of an interest in Chemistry. Her tutors had nothing but praises for her, always complimenting her eagerness to learn and to correct her mistakes, if any.

She was seven years old when her Papa had finally deemed it safe enough to introduce her to her Nonno and to her Zio Tsuna and Zio Tsuna's Guardians, people she had never met before but had heard stories about. So there she was, sitting on Bel-fratello's shoulders and playing with his hair as he and the other Varia officers walked down the halls of the Vongola Mansion. The Vongola Mansion was well-lit and decorated with antique paintings and flowers, and though it was visually appealing to Adrianna, she still preferred the Varia Headquarters.

After going through several corridors, they finally stopped at a room. Her Papa opened the doors and Adrianna could see a circular conference table. It was clear, however, that the leader was the brown haired man who had gravity-defying hair. Adrianna was just sure he was the leader because he had the same aura as her Papa. Next to the brown haired man was a silver haired man with a scowl, a black haired man with a scar on his chin, a guy in a cow-print tuxedo, a white-haired man with a bandaid on his nose, and a girl whose hair styled to look pineapple-like. There was also a really old man with a cane. The old man also projected the same aura as Papa.

"Ah, Xanxus, welcome!" the brown haired man stood up along with the other people. The brown haired man approached her Papa and shook his hand. Was this her Zio Tsuna? "Little early for your monthly visit. Did anything happen?"

Oh, so he was the reason why Papa left the Varia Headquarters once a month, Adrianna thought.

"…" her Papa didn't seem to know what to say. He turned to her and gestured for Bel-fratello to step forward. He then plucked her off of Bel and turned to the brown haired man and the old man. "My daughter, Adrianna."

The world seem to freeze until the brown haired man shrieked. "HIEEEEEEE?! Xanxus has a daughter?!"

The brown haired man's companions seemed to be surprised as well.

"The Varia Boss has a spawn?! She must ba a UMA!"

"Hahaha, that's cool!"

"Lambo has someone new to bother then~."

"How EXTREME!"

"Congratulations, Xanxus-san."

The old man seemed to be choking on air, though. "I—what—how—"

"That's your Nonno," her Papa pointed at the old man before gesturing to the brown haired man, "and that's Sawada Tsunayoshi and his Guardians."

Since the old man was still in disbelief, Adrianna decide to gesture to Zio Tsuna first. Her Papa nodded before letting her down as she walked over to Zio Tsuna. "It's nice to meet you, Zio Tsuna."

Zio Tsuna seemed to recover from his shock, though, as he patted her head. "It's nice to meet you. I'm just surprised your Papa hadn't mentioned you before."

"Papa said it was for my safety since I can't really protect myself yet, but he thought it was safe now," Adrianna said, causing Zio Tsuna to nod.

Adrianna then approached the old man next. "Hello, Nonno. It's nice to meet you."

"I—yes," the old man blinked before placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's very nice to meet you. I didn't think Xanxus would ever have a child."

Adrianna shrugged. "It's okay, but Papa's amazing. He's the best Papa ever!"

Her Nonno didn't seem to know how to reply so Adrianna walked back to the Varia, this time, sitting on top of Fran-fratello's overly large hat.

She had known from the start that people wouldn't automatically accept her, not because she was unnatural or anything, but because it had taken her Papa seven years to introduce her to them. She hoped they'd warm up to her eventually, though. She quite liked the fire she felt when she was in front of Zio Tsuna, and she really, really wanted to know how fluffy his hair really was.

A/N: I hope that was ayt hehe. I'm not too big on elaborating on Adrianna's childhood, like learning how to walk or whatever, so yeah.

And yes, Hibari and Mukuro weren't there when Adrianna met Tsuna and his Guardians. Timoteo's Guardians weren't there either. Just so we're clear.

What do you guys think about Adrianna bonding with people? Should she bond with the Arcobalenos (my guilty pleasure when I read KHR-HP fanfics) save for Mammon, or should she bond with people from Hogwarts, or a mix of both?

That's all for today. See you in the next chapter c:
