Notes: Did a rewatch and figured it was time to finish these prompts. Getting back into writing recently, and it's not really my best work, but here she is lol.

#19 - Candle

No woman could hold a candle to Julia, or at least that's what he tells himself; he's long since forgotten the timbre of her voice, the exact shade of her eyes; all he has is a handful of stolen memories that threaten to burn out like a match.

#20 – Talent

Gambling was just one of what Faye considered her many talents; the list also included lying, swindling, and pretending that her past didn't haunt her every waking moment.

#22 – Journey

Edward wasn't sure where she was going from here; it was a big, scary world out there outside of the humble confines of the Bebop, but with Ein at her side, she thinks they could handle it.

#23 – Fire

Fire was his opposite; he was the calm, cool-headed Black Dog, and yet nothing could set him off like the two idiots he called partners that somehow let yet another bounty slip away.

#24 – Strength

Jet had a quiet sort of strength about him (rippling muscles aside); it lay in his strict code of ethics and dogged loyalty to those he considered family.

#26 – Ice

Ice cream was a rare treat on the ship, and the limited supply resulted in alliances forged, booby traps sprung, and general debauchery; Jet swore he was on board with a bunch of children.

#27 – Fall

Time passes in slow motion as he plummets through that stained glass window, thoughts of their former friendship flitting through his head, thoughts of his betrayal, and, inevitably, thoughts of her cloud his vision once more.

#29 – Dance

It's a practiced dance they engage in, flitting along the edges of flirtation and something much more dangerous.

#31 – Sacred

A church is hardly the place for a duel; a syndicate is hardly the place to find love.

#33 – World

There was a whole, wide world out there, outside of his home planet of Mars; the child inside him sometimes still marvels that's it's all out there and his for the taking; the man inside him can't believe he's spent so long away from home.

#35 – Fever

When his fever finally breaks on that third day after his battle with Vicious, he wakes once more to the gentle humming of yet another woman he does not deserve.

#38 – Forever

He's not sure what he'll do if he ever finds her again; there's no promise of forever in his line of work, but all he knows is this desperate need to have her at his side once more.

#39 – Overwhelmed

His overprotection had been too much for Alisa; he hopes someday that another woman will understand his deep-seated need to safeguard, even more so now that he let the only family he ever had slip away.

#42 – Talk

They discussed an array of topics – the next bounty, where the next meal would come from, where to get the next tank of gas; but feelings were out of the loop, taboo even.

#44 – Hope

She looks into the hopeful, unclouded eyes of her past self on the VHS and wishes she'd spent more time basking in the moments as that young girl.

#45 – Eclipse

A solar eclipse, the sun blocked off by the moon, was akin to the way he lived his life - the goodness and lightness blocked off by shades of the past.

#46 – Gravity

Faye's not sure what it is about him that draws her in - it couldn't be the unkempt hair and dress, the fierce temper that often caused them to butt heads, the lazy drawl that seeped into every aspect of his life aside from bounty hunting; and yet, something about that man kept her in his orbit, long after he departed her galaxy.

#47 – Highway

The Bebop, an eclectic crew, and miles of open road before them - that's how their story should have ended; instead, the end comes in shaking breaths, unannounced departures, and riddled with bullet holes.
