Nicole and Richard's marriage was in the dumps. Nicole has tried her hardest to keep things afoot with her childish husband. However, As time went on in the Watterson house hold, She realized the ship she was trying to save was already well on its way towards the ocean floor. The children found them selfs stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, they loved there dad and mom deeply and unconditionally. But as time went on, they realized there fathers antics were becoming to much for Nicole to bare, And with Richard responding to a scam call from India, his fate was sealed. This story is about Nicole losing hope and thinking she will never love again. But someone very close to her is going to reignite that "spark" and change hers and his world forever.

"Honey please dont get mad at me i promise I had good intentions!"

"RICHARD! HOW COULD YOU BE SO STUPID TO RESPOND TO SCAMMER CALLS! YOU KNOW THERE FAKE ADVERTISEMENTS JUST TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!"

"well! to be fair, they weren't asking for money at all! i swear!

"oh really? then what information did you give them Richard?"

"all they wanted to know was your Social Security card number! thats it!"

"...my...what..."

"Your Social! they said that if i give it to them they would mail us a 100$ Joyful Burger gift card! What a bargain right?! 100 free dollars for just a silly not important at all number!"

After hearing what Richard said about the so called "bargain" deal, she began to break down into tears due to her anger becoming to much to bear. Nicole was a strong woman, she was more then capable enough to handle most stressful tasks. However her being only one cat, even she had her limits and Richards unadulterated stupidity all but sealed his fate.

"honey? whats wrong? are you thinking im just gonna spend all the Joyful Burger money by myself? Dont worry we can split it down the middle if you want!"

"You...f-fucking...idiot."

"huh? w-what do you mean?"

"YOU FUCKING IDIOT! I CANT TAKE ANYMORE OF YOUR STUPID IDIOTIC BULLSHIT ANYMORE! DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO COME HOME FROM WORKING F TAIL OFF 11 HOURS A DAY 5 DAYS A WEEK?"

"well not really because we all know what will happen if i get a job. plus im normally fast asleep on the couch when you get he-"

MY EXACT POINT! (Nicole begins to break into tears venting her built up anger over her husband.) I-I cant do this anymore Richard i just cant... worrying about raising our kids, dealing with you, and tring my hardest at work... is just to much for one girl. im not getting any support, love or affection from you! hell i cant even remember the last time you even tried to be intimate with me!

"Im sorry! im very sorry! I will never ever do it again...so now that i apologized will you tell me what your making for dinner?"

"Leave. Now."

"leave? like to go pick up dinner or-"

"Leave the house and dont come back. For all i care you can stay at Granny JoJos until i figure out if i want to continue this hell we call our marriage.

"What? are you saying you want a divo-"

" im saying you better get the hell out of here before I become unglued!"

As there parents were having there argument, Gumball, Darwin, and Anais were at the staircase listening closely on what there mom had to say. Gumball, and Anais agreed with there mom however Darwin was a little on the fence. One things for sure though. They knew not to get involved when there mother was this angry and cussing up a storm.

"Richard leave. Please. As far as I'm concerned you can stay gone until I say you can come back.

"So I'm gonna be all alone by myself?"

"Take the kids with you. I could use some alone time plus, Anais needs to watch you so you dont doing do anything stupid."

Hearing this the kids broke there cover and confronted there parents about being practically sent away with him to God knows where.

"Mom! I Understand your mad at dad but sending him away in my opinion is taking it a bit to far!"

Said Anais trying to persuade her mother th reconsider her decision. Nicole did understand her children's frustration but she made up her mind. She needed time alone to rejuvenate and figure out if her marriage was still worth fighting for.

"I'm sorry sweetie but I've made up my mind, I'm not kicking your father out permanently we just need a little bit of a break is all. And I think that's it's only fair if you go and make sure your father doesn't get into any..."trouble".

Gumball didn't think it would be a good idea for his mother to stay alone to her own thoughts, he wanted to help her after all! Being almost 14 he thought that he'd matured a lot and now was the time to prove that he was more then the Silly Billy he was known for being.

"Mom if you think you and dad need a break then that's fine. But it's not gonna do you or our family any good sending all of us away. You need some help with the stress your going through so I'm staying with you to make sure your ok."

Everyone was kind of surprised by Gumballs statement. The more she thought about it the more she realized her son was right.

"Hmmmmmm fine. Your right, you and Darwin can stay with me and Anais will go with your father."

Anais was more then ok with this compromise. After all, she would have to be with her annoying brothers! But after thinking she would get to spend some quality time with her papa, Darwin came and spoke out.

Actually Mrs. Mom, I want to stay with Mr. Dad because I think it would be good for you and Gumball spend some Quality time together!Immediately Gumball protested in his mind

"what the what?! He wants to leave me alone with mom?! I was thinking it would be tallerable with Darwin here with me but he's ditching me for dad and Anais? Now who am I gonna play with or talk to!"

"Ok then! Its settled, Gumball will stay with me and you guys will go until we get this all sorted out." She didint know why but nicole was quite happy to stay with her son Gumball. He was her number one after all.

"Wait! Let's not get ahead of oursel-"

"Ok then we should probably get some clothes for at least a week or two" said Anais to Darwin as they both bolted upstairs. " I guess I should pack two!" As Richard also wobbled up the stairs. Gumball was quite honestly annoyed with having to be alone with his mom for a while but after thinking a little bit Nicole bent down and placed both paws on his shoulders and kissed him on the forehead.

" thank you for caring and wanting to help me Gummypuss. It means a lot to me. More then you know." He realized that she was genuinely happy he wanted to stay with her so After that he thought to himself once more thinking it wouldn't be so bad with his mom he just hoped Nicole would warm up and eventually forgive Richard for his silliness.

So this is the introduction to my story hopefully I dont get Crucified for it as this is my first story, but if I do that's fine because what doesn't kill you makes you stronger so hate and love is welcome! I intend to update this at LEAST (keyword) once a week. But with COVID 19 I probably with have time for much more then that. Anyway Godbless yall and stay safe out there!
