59Hello all! Here's Chapter 2. I like it rough so hate and love is most welcome! (Giggity)
The Split chapter two
The sun was beginning to set when Anais, Darwin, and Richard were done gathering there things and about ready to leave, while Gumball and Nicole were siting on the couch and watching the evening news...or more like Nicole was watching the evening news and gumball was bored out of his freaking mind.
" mom can we PLEASE watch something that's not the news!" Gumball said as he was sinking into the sofa filled with pure unadulterated boredom.
"Oh lighten up Gumball this is interesting stuff! Sojourner is the first ever rover to be on mars! Soon, people might even be able to go there and planet our flag." suddenly Anais dropped her bag at the front door and was interested in what they were watching so she spoke up.
"ACTUALLY mom, the Soviets were the first to get rovers on Mars during the 1970's." Anais said with full confidence however it made Nicole a little irritated.
"ACTUALLY sweetie you're wrong, the Soviet mars rover program failed because they didn't have enough FREEDOM and LIBERTY on there side like we got. that's why they don't exist anymore." 10 minutes had passed while Gumball was listening to Anais and Nicole bicker and yap about boring old facts until the hot weather lady came on, which like any 13 year old boy, caught his attention.
"ugh finally some quality entertainment!" which confused his mom and sister.
"Wait so you don't like watching news about Mars but you like watching the weather report?" Anais said dumbfounded.
"uhhhhhh yea... the weather! Gotta love that HOT weather!" he responded nervously, not paying attention to Richard going behind the T.V and unplugging it.
"why did you do that Richard! we were enjoying that!" Nicole said saddened and upset.
" yea! i was watching her-I MEAN that!" Richard began slowly but surely pushing the T.V towards the front door.
" welp. sease you kicked me out for a while im gonna take the T.V so ill at least have something to do!" he stopped to say after only pushing it only a few feet before getting tired and needing to catch his breath.
" Richard your not taking the the damn T.V with you." her gears beginning to grind, she stood up and pushed the T.V back into its original position.
"as a matter of fact, while your in exile, instead of you lazing about i want you to be a little bit more productive and do something with your mom and kids." she said assertively with her paws on her hips.
"p-pro-product-t-t-t-tive?" Richard thought about what Nicole was saying and began to get PTSD about productivity. Making his 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd, stomach turn over.
"yea dad! we don't get to spend much time with Granny Jo-Jo! we could go to the park, run some errands, or go to the movies. Being productive doesn't always mean doing boring old work so we should really make the most of it! besides you don't know how long Granny Jo-Jo will be around anyway, she's getting pretty old you know.
" hmmm fine. but on one condition. You let me eat where i want while we're gone, AND no more treating me like a little child rabbit." hearing his list of demands only began to ruffle Nicole's fur even more.
"HA excuse me?! Im sorry Honey but i don't think you got any sort of room here to make demands. First of all, your not a "little" rabbit. Second, i'm not treating you like a child, im treating you like a hopeless baby, and third, I kicked you out which mean YOU need to leave!" after she was done putting her foot down she pushed Richard towards the front door and handed him his bag.
Meanwhile after taking WAY too long to pack his fishbowl, Darwin finally arrived downstairs and began to say goodbye to his mother and brother.
"i'm sorry i kind of did a 180 and abandoned you Gumball, i just think that it would be really good for you and Mrs. Mom to spend a little more time together ya know?
"mmm its not a big deal. of course hanging out with mom is kind of Anais thing but whatever i'm just glad shes happy for once. im gonna miss you though buddy hopefully this gets sorted out soon and everything will go back to normal."
"this is Elmore Gumball. being normal is to Unorthodox for our people!" Gumball and Darwin laughed and exchanged a sincere loving hug to say "farewell for now" and after everything was said and done, Nicole gave Anais and Darwin hugs and kisses and said her goodbyes.
" i love you kids very much, and please for all that is holy make sure your father doesn't wreak havoc over thee entire West Coast!
" dont worry mom we'll be just fine. i just hope Gumball doesn't get on your bad side to much."
"you know as well as i do, that's impossible sis." he said, as they laughed and hugged each other before parting ways for the time being.
Before they knew it the three of them were in the car and slowly drove off and gave a final wave to Nicole and Gumball who then waved back and proceeded to walk back in the house.
"man, i miss them already..." Gumball said as he sat on the couch kind of sluggishly. Nicole sat next to him to provide some comfort.
"me to sweety but you know, i feel like me and your father splitting up for a bit will help. I just need a break from his antics, there's only so much i can handle. I understand if your angry with me for kicking your father out and perhaps you have the right to be...im.. im sorry.
"no! mom its not like that! dad was in the wrong and you have every right to be upset. Especially with all the nonsense you have to deal with. I promise you that i'll be a better son and do whatever i can that's in my power to do to help you, because I love you and I want you to be happy!" saying Nicole was shocked would be an understatement, she knew Gumball was a caring soul but she didn't know he was this determined to help her.
she pulled him into a tight embrace as a tear fell down her cheek. "i love you too sweetie...and thank you." now she was happy and it was all thanks to her "literal number one". She wouldn't trade this little moment for the world now that she was with her little Gummypuss.
