The next day was quite gray and rainy. A funeral had been given for poor Amidala, and there was a dull, melancholic mood just about everywhere for the queen/senator of Naboo.

Obi-Wan entered the meeting room, still feeling quite morose after the rendezvous on Mustafar. He said it himself, the Padawan was his brother, and now...it felt like he hadn't a family to support him, the only remnant being his new son and daughter.

"...test-tube babies.." he mumbled, staring at the sleeping infants in their baskets.

"You with the

sad eyes

Don't be

discouraged

Oh I realize

Its hard to take

courage

In a world full of

people

You can lose sight

of it all

And the darkness

inside you

Can make you feel

so small..."

The Jedi council spoke with Obi about the future of the children. It was agreed that the boy would go with Ne'zzakin's brother-in-law on Tatooine, but where to send the girl?

Just then, there was a knock at the door. A tall carrot and female blueberry dressed in Alderaanian royalty garb entered; everyone

bowed. This was Bail and Breha

Organic.

"Senator Organic!" Said Yoga. "Doing here, what are you?"

"We heard that there was a child up for adoption." Bail spoke. "Since the boy already has foster parents, we were looking to adopt the little girl."

"Yes." Said Breha in her native accent. "We are quite lonely in our married life, and we wish to ave' a little, ow you say, excitement in our lives, non?"

"Well," Obi smiled. "I bet she'd love to have you two as her parents!"

Upon finishing the child custody and adoption papers, Obi handed little Leia to Bail and Breha. They completely melted at the sight of the blueberry girl and hugged and kissed her.

"She's perfect, Obi!" Said Bail.

"Mais oui!" Said Breha.

Obi smiled as the couple loved their new daughter.

"You will make a great Peré, Bail." Breha kissed him.

"And you will make a great mother, my darling. She'll be our little Princess Leia.." sighed Bail.

"But I see your

true colors

Shining through

I see your true

colors

And that's why I

love you

So don't be afraid

to let them show

Your true colors

True colors are

beautiful

Like a

rainbow.."

Then, on Tatooine, Obi-Wan had arrived at the Lars' homestead. He dismounted his dewback, carrying little Cuke with both non-existent hands.

As he walked closer, Beru and Owen Lars walked outside to see him arrive. Obi looked straight ahead, eager to drop off the child and get as far away as possible, when a small "...aaa!" was heard.

The small cucumber gurgled and touched Obi with a small, non-

existent hand. Obi blushed and smiled immensely-why had he thought so negatively of the children again?!

They were absolutely precious!

Obi-Wan

Kenobi handed little Cuke to Owen, then walked away, smiling.

As he got on his dewback, he gazed at the Jedi's child who now had a

family.

"...see you in 20 years, kiddo!"

"Show me a

smile then

Don't be unhappy,

can't remember

When I last saw

you laughing

If this world

makes you crazy

And you've taken

all you can bear

You call me up

Because you know I'll be

there..."

Owen looked at Beru, Beru at Owen. The new parents walked up the hill, and raised their son into the sky so he could see the beautiful setting sun. Cuke got some sand on his face; he did not make any distress

noise like other babies, but simply

gave an adorable little sneeze.

"And I'll see

your true colors

Shining through

I see your true

colors

And that's why I

love you

So don't be afraid

to let them show

Your true colors

True colors are

beautiful

Like a

rainbow.."

Obi rode away, knowing that both

the children were in safe hands. But one day very soon, there would come a time where he had to re-visit them.

"If this world

makes you crazy

And you've taken

all you can bear

You call me up

Because you

know I'll be there

And I'll see your

true colors

Shining through

I see your true

colors

And that's why I

love you

So don't be afraid

to let them show

Your true colors

True colors

True colors

Shining through

I see your true

colors

And that's why I

love you

So don't be afraid

to let them show

Your true colors

True colors are

beautiful

Like a

rainbow.."

The room was incredibly warm. Red-tinted fog rolled back.

Ne'zzakin Skywalker's transformation to the Dark Side was

completed. Through pyrotechnics,

varied bits of machinery, and extensive surgery, he was now the most feared Sith Lord of all time. He was now,

...

...

...

...DARTH VERDURA!

(Cue 'Tocata en Fugue')

"Padmé..." said Verdura, stepping out from his place, in a deep, auto-generated voice. "Is she alright?"

"I'm afraid not..." said Pulpatine.

Verdura gasped

and moved back, knocking over a few pieces of machinery. His life flashed before his eyes; Meeting Arvi-Gon, Obi-Wan, winning the Podrace, not to mention becoming a Jedi and meeting the love of his life.

When his beautiful children came into the world, he hadn't the slightest idea that his wife would leave his.

"NnnnnnNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Verdura yelled.

The End...is just the beginning.
