This story takes place in the Winx and WITCH cartoon universes, after season 2 of WITCH and in Season 1 of Winx. I'm sure other people have wondered where magical outfits came from and if they got mixed up, so this story is that type of situation. It may or may not have a sequel, and it takes place in my Cartoon Characters Unite! universe, where the Guardians have met other heroes but not the Winx.
It was a regular day at Alfea, and the Winx had a break in between classes so they decided to practice their magic in their transformed states. After they finished transforming and posing, they were about to start when they realized something was wrong.
"AAAAAAA!" Stella shrieked when she looked at herself. Her orange top and shorts had been replaced by a blue shirt with sleeves that ended in a point at the back of her hands and a long purple skirt with a slit on the side that showed green and blue striped tights. Her boots were purple, and when she conjured a mirror to look at her back, she saw her hair was long and loose and her wings were smaller. The outfit wasn't too bad but it WASN'T HERS!
Tecna was dressed similarly, though her purple top was sleeveless, she had matching wristbands, over her tights were a pair of short shorts and her hair was in a bunch of small dreads around her head. Strange, but she liked the new shoes.
Flora… was wearing Stormy's witch outfit and was having a nervous breakdown over it.
"What is going on?" Bloom wondered. Thankfully, she and Musa had no problems with their outfits but everyone else had, and she needed to investigate. Tecna was already on it, and was seeing if her technology powers could sense any abnormalities.
At Cloud Tower, the Trix also had a break and decided to wreak some havoc. They were about to do so when Icy started laughing and pointing at the others. Stormy and Darcy looked at themselves and exclaimed in shock.
Stormy was wearing Flora's outfit and wings and was extremely unhappy about it. Darcy was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt with swirls on the bottom and a purple mini-skirt with a slit on the side over blue and green striped rights. Her hair was was much shorter and was wavy at the ends and she had wings, though not the typical fairy wings. The purple ankle boots were cute, though THIS WAS NOT HER OUTFIT!
The three witches were furious; no one messed with the Trix, and they were going to make the culprit pay.
In Heatherfield, a city on a different Earth, five teens were by an abandoned bridge and looking at each other in shock. As Guardians, they were used to strange things, but having different outfits than their Guardian ones took the cake.
Cornelia had a sparkly orange top and shorts with matching boots, her hair was in pigtails, she had blue wristbands and her wings were different and larger. It wasn't bad, but IT WASN'T HERS!
Taranee was covered head to toe in a bodysuit and had wings that were different than Cornelia's. It was strange, but she liked the boots.
Irma had a strapless purple top with matching pants, gloves, armband, choker, and boots. She didn't have wings but her hair was straight and really long. "Who's D?" she wondered as she looked at the D on her front.
Thankfully, Will and Hay Lin had their outfits but something strange was going on, and they wondered what.
-The Council of Kandrakar was in an uproar; something strange was going on and the Guardians' magic outfits had been tampered with. To their surprise, the Oracle was serene. He calmly said he'll take care of it then went to his private chamber.
In his chamber, he met three women who were looking with magic at the fairies, witches, and Guardians and laughing.
"It's funny, isn't it?" Headmistress Griffin said smugly as he entered, "and the perfect way to break the ice."
"I doubt they'd see it that way, but look at their faces!" Headmistress Faragonda snickered.
"It was amusing," Griselda admitted as she chuckled, "and the witches were unnecessary but a bonus."
"Do you think your students should meet them now?" the Oracle asked Faragonda as he waved his hand and fixed everything, to the relief of the magical teens below. Faragonda nodded, and the fairies and Guardians found themselves in Kandrakar. After introductions, the Oracle said he thought the two groups should practice with each other and help each other with future villains.
Headmistress Griffin said she thought the fairies and Guardians could be a good influence on her students, and the Guardians could help her when the Trix got too rowdy.
After the logistics were decided and the girls were sent back, the Oracle thanked the three women then sent them back as well. Now that he was alone, he started laughing. It was pretty funny.
