Is it wrong kill monsters and pick up a harem in a dungeon?

Prologue

Story Summary: Monster Hunter World & Danmachi crossover with Gamer elements. Isekei/Self Insert. A woman/self insert is reincarnated as a modified main character, Ais Wallenstein from Danmachi into a fusion world of Danmachi & Monster Hunter World. Will become majorly AU for both works with time due to being set before the original canon of the works take place. Warning: Gore will be frequent, potential sexual descriptions and references to them in later chapters.

Edits: spelling errors and awkward sentence structure or word choice that I can find are fixed. Part of my A.N. altered to give more of a reason for the descriptions of other worlds/franchises. Scene breaks added so people can more easily navigate and skip portions if they are re-reading prologue. A few more details added to descriptions of choices and back-ground.

A/N: I had only vague information on these worlds based on fan-fiction stories and reading wiki articles. I will likely gain more information as time goes on, but this prologue is written before I have done my research. I will rely on wiki articles, fan-fiction, and any kind reviewer who might correct any mistakes. I definitely do not own the original works, I'll also try to list the main fan-fiction's I gained my ideas from, either at the start or end of the chapters, so skim through my A.N.'s for that at least, especially since I hope to add modified versions of the characters from those stories to my own.

I wanted to add some numbers based on previous gamer stories, but generally dislike when math bogs down a story so they don't have much impact, the math is very fuzzy and generic, and can be skipped over without causing much confusion.

The reference to other options at the start of the story are there mostly as a handy list of where I will be getting some of my Ocs from when I reach those parts of the story, since with this being set more than a decade before the start of the original Danmachi, and a few weeks before even the 5th fleet of Monster Hunter World and the start of the game I will be needing a lot of Ocs. I might also write a spin-off or sequel where my character goes to one of those worlds as a reward at the end of the story if I still want to keep writing and I complete this story.

Options: New Life/Game +

You died, but a Random Omnipotent Being is giving you the option to be reincarnated with most of your memories retrievable after 5 years old in a new world for their amusement.

Possible Worlds you can be reborn in:

Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne Mcaffrey:

be reborn in Pern, a world where hi-tech colonists gene-engineered a native species to become telepath/ empath dragons that bond with humans to fight/burn Thread-a parasitical threat that falls from a nearby planet every 50 or so years. Thread will devour most life on the planet if not stopped/burned away. The descendents of the colonists have lost most of their knowledge and technology and now live in primitive conditions but at least some lucky members can become Dragonriders! You do not have enough points to guarantee when you will be born or being chosen by a dragon.

The Belgareth series by David Eddings:

choose one of the worlds created by David Eddiings such as the Belgareth series which had your childhood favorite book "Polgara the Sorceress" as part of the history and back-story of the main series detailing the adventures of Garion and the group of colorful characters, including a mature and experienced Polgara acting as a substitute mother when his own was killed. The people aiding Garion, or Belgarion as he became known once he learned Sorcery are chosen by prophecy to aid him as he travels to find the Orb and defeat followers of the god Torak. Not enough points to choose becoming your favorite main character Polgara. Not enough points to choose where or when you will be born. Not enough points to become a new prophesied companion and aid to Garion or an existing one.

The Heralds of Valdimir Chronicles series by Mercedes Lackey

This prolific writer wrote many series of fantasy books that detailed lovely worlds that you enjoyed reading about and great characters that you looked up to. The heralds of Valdimir chronicles were about paragons of virtue chosen by divine spirit horses to help keep the small county of Valdimir stable and prosperous. Trilogies of books detailed the history of that country and introduced many great characters and amazing adventures that you loved. There are also many more series detailing some of the other countries set in that same world.

Note: be aware you do not have enough points to choose where or when in that world you will be born, so you might be born in one of the countries that are enemies of Valdimir or in the times before Valdimir was established. If you are lucky enough to be born in Valdimir your own personality and choices will influence whether a divine spirit horse will ever choose you as a herald and let you meet any of the characters you loved.

Dragon Ball/Z/GT:

Be reborn in the Dragonball universe as either a created female sayan, half-sayan, female human or other race of Ki warrior. Train and join the Z warriors defending planet earth from all the crazy people and aliens that threaten it. Note: due to lacking points currently if you chose to be reborn a full sayan there is no guarantee you will make it to planet earth, you might end up killed or enslaved by one of the various alien races if you are not lucky or strong enough to join Prince Vegeta's squad and even if you join the squad unless you earn their respect you might just become a kept woman and future brood-mare to restore the sayan race at some point in the future. Other choices may also have hidden drawbacks to make things more interesting since even having access to ki gives the possibility of becoming over-powered.

Naruto-

you can become a flashy element-wielding ninja/kunoichi in a war-torn world. Become a child soldier wielding chakra to walk on water, and shape one or two of five elemental forces: Water, Wind, Earth, Fire, Lightning. Serve your chosen village to protect your precious people, even if it means killing anyone deemed an enemy, lying, stealing, spying, sabotaging(cough blowing stuff up cough), or seducing people of interest. You can choose your village and elemental affinity, but not when you will be born or which character you will take the place of. You do not have enough points to guarantee being born with a bloodline or special ability if you become an OC.

Harry Potter-

you can be a witch! Take the place of one of the female characters in this famous fictionalized world. Help the main character, have a chance to become the best friend or even girlfriend he deserves. Note: a random group of fan-fictions will be added to the world in order to make things more interesting so Harry Potter might not have that name, characters might not be all human, and cannon pairings will not be likely.

Or Not! Chose the opposite side, try to guide the Dark lord away from making the many many mistakes that lead to a baby, and that same boy at 11 years, 14 years, and 17 years thwarting his plans and defeating him. A fan-fiction where there are actual reasons behind the bigotry for the pure-blood movement will be added to make this more appealing.

There will be elements from some of the fan-fictions you have read about this series added to this regardless of your choice, so do not depend on your 'knowledge' about the cannon series being at all accurate.

Lack of points might also mean you might be reincarnated in a different time or as an unappealing female character like Griselda Marchbanks(teacher of Dumbledore) or Pansy Parkinson.

RUBY-

become a huntress in Remaint, a world over-run by Grim, with discriminated against faunus animal people, magical Dust taking the place of fossil fuels and people capable of using Aura to achieve superhuman feats. You will become an OC and possibly join/become team leader of a fourth team in Beacon if you do well enough at your studies. Not enough points to take the place of an established character or guarantee you will enter Beacon at the same time as the main characters. Lack of points to allow you to choose your own semblance.

Hunter x Hunter-

Magical beasts, treasure, adventure, and mystery. Train for the Hunter exam, awaken your Nen, and make a living 'hunting' for anything that takes your fancy. Watch out for super powered psychopaths, incredibly power-full crime organizations, and a multitude of deadly beasts like Chimera ants. Since powerful female characters are so rare you will be an OC in this world, or a female character from the Phantom Troupe, no guarantees you will be able to meet the main characters in their Hunter exam. Lack of points might see you reincarnated in time for any of the 280+ hunter exams before the one the main characters take.

One Piece-

Become a pirate! Join a crew and sail the seas searching for Gol D Roger's 'One Piece' treasure. Find and eat a Devil fruit to gain a superhuman power at the cost of becoming weak to sea water and sinking like a stone in a world composed of scattered islands in five oceans. Or try to awaken and train Haki to become tougher and stronger, nearly omniscient within a certain range. Or both! Not enough points to guarantee you can join the Straw Hat crew, or be born in the same time period. That is up to luck, the mood of Oda and the ROB who is giving you this chance.

Pokemon-

You can become a Pokemon trainer! Gather a team of cute, powerful semi-sentient beasts that are brainwashed to serve/obey humans and fight each other to evolve and gain praise from their human trainers/masters. Challenge gyms, participate in contests, become a pokemon master by catching and training hundreds of Pokemon! Take note: in the interest of entertainment the ROB giving you this chance may change you into a Pokemon rather than a human if they become bored with your life. Lack of points also means you have no choice in back-story or region you will be born in.

Yu Yu Hakushu-

This world is split into three: The mortal/human world, the Spirit world, and Makai, the demon world by energy barriers that a god in Spirit world maintains. This god also chooses a spirit detective to maintain balance and handle any demons that slip through gaps in the barrier.

Become a demon or human descendant of a demon with spirit powers! Try to join and aid the Spirit Detective in his job of defending humanity from demons under the supervision of the Spirit World! Or be a 'good' demon or part-demon defending other demons from criminal humans that abuse them, as well as keeping your fellow demons from bringing the wrath of the Spirit World on them. Note: lack of points means that other than some minor details the OC you are reborn as will be chosen for maximum entertainment value rather than your own preferences and happiness.

Inuyasha:

Be reborn as a demon , hanyo, or human in a feudal Japan where demons roam! Take the place of Sango the demon-hunter, a gender-bent other character or become an OC. Survive and try to meet and help any members of the Inuyasha team as they travel collecting and purifying shards from the Shikon no Tama.

Or Not! As long as it is entertaining the ROB does not care what you choose to do with your life or what side you choose. Note: due to lack of points any Oc or gender-bent character will be chosen for maximum entertainment value, and even Sango will have her/your new back-story altered.

Random/Obscure-

enter a random world that you have watched a bit of or read about but know very few details of.

You get extra points and some gamer skills that loosely fit the rules of the world you are going too, but will give you a big advantage.

Crossover/Fusion-

get extra choices regarding your background and the time-line of when you will be born when you mix two worlds together to make a new and exciting world where the plot and main characters of both worlds may be vastly changed due to the presence of the 2nd world.

_-scene break-_-scene break-_-scene break-_-scene break-_

The woman, Feline stared, realizing she might have a chance to become an Isekei in one of her favorite fictionalized worlds! It sucked that she had apparently died, she was not sure whether it was a heart attack, very sudden onset of illness; perhaps from the recent pandemic that was causing all sorts of issues, a random accident or world disaster, or even being killed by someone or something in her sleep, but although she was not suicidal by any means she had been bored by her average, safe life, and had occasionally hoped that one of the various "end of the world" scares that happened every few years would actually affect her as long as her 'afterlife' was less boring. She would miss her family, but hoped they would not mourn her for too long if they were still alive.

She had oddly not been willing enough to stop reading or playing games and mentally escaping her average boring life to actually make a difference and improve her life, but apparently a ROB had made that choice for her after she 'Died' if she had even died and this was not all a detailed semi-lucid dream or perhaps a fan-fiction her original had started writing.

Feline had read enough fan-fiction to love the idea of Isekei, and thought being given a chance to be reincarnated in a previously thought fictional world would be great. She knew two theories for how this was possible. One was the multi-universe theory, that all the worlds and galaxy's existed somewhere, and authors somehow unconsciously tapped into an existing world. Another theory was that the power of belief somehow creates new worlds when enough people read or watch them.

However as she read through the options she noticed semi-sarcastic descriptions of danger and notes near the end of every option that she did not have enough points to guarantee safety. Feline realized that there were definite costs to choosing the options from one of the worlds she knew most details about and loved the most, where she could find ways to avoid or overcome the worst dangers if things remained as she had read in the original works. These notes seemed to imply that things would not be the same, because the ROB wanted entertainment, so some of her knowledge would be worthless.

This ROB wanted to be entertained, and those semi-sarcastic descriptions of the actual dangers in those worlds and those notes near the end of most options mentioning lack of points to choose the best options and guarantee safety, heavily hinted he would not be entertained and might even get irritated or bored and choose to do something to make things interesting for him. The ROB would probably screw things up for her if she chose one of those options and they became bored, which might lead to a miserable short life where she could not even meet her favorite characters.

So even though Feline would want to be born in most of those worlds, while hoping that indoctrination or 5 years of life without her previous memories would help her adjust to any differences in morality or quality of life in the case of the more extremely different worlds, she knew that despite the risk of the unknown she should not choose the semi-safe options she would be happiest with from her favorite stories.

The options Random/Obscure and Crossover gave extra points and advantages and were clearly something the ROB would be 'more entertained by' so she decided to choose those options while hoping that the worlds chosen were not too dangerous, and hoping even more that one of her less favorite worlds but still liked was chosen as part of the crossover. After all, although that list were ones she had the fondest memories of and she still read many many fan-fiction stories based on them, she had read fan-fiction and watched the occasional episode of many many more stories and liked most of them well enough that she would not mind being reborn in most of those worlds. There were some grim-dark worlds that that were just terrible though, and if those were chosen she would go back to one of her favorites despite the risks.

Feline said "Choose Random/Obscure and Crossover/Fusion" since there did not seem to be an interface just yet.

You have chosen both Random/Obscure and Crossover/Fusion! The ROB will choose two worlds they want to see, with you getting more options upon character creation before being inserted into your new life!

Monster Hunter World-

enter a world full of monsters, where survival of the fittest is literal and Monster Hunters from the Guild take quests to slaughter dangerous monsters and to harvest useful body parts for weapons, armor, and magical items so they can kill tougher more dangerous monsters in the future. Various specialists such as Botanists can choose to study monster plants, monster beasts, and the ecosystem to create potions and tools as well as guidebooks for Monster hunters. Palicos are cute anthropomorphic felynes that support Monster Hunters by carrying extra equipment, distracting or stunning monsters long enough for a Hunter to recover with a potion, and helping harvest ingredients and body parts from monsters.

Dungeon ni Deai O Monteru no wa Machgatte Iru Darou ka /Sword Oratia/Famillia Chronicle-nickname Danmachi-

This world was once chaotic, with humans and other sentient races barely clinging to life much
less civilization in the face of the endless hordes of monsters escaping from holes in the ground who all hated other life. Heroes rose that tried to fight the monsters, often dying in the process. Some Gods/Goddesses were impressed by the heroes and bored of being divine beings so descended to the earth, sealing most of their divine powers, and granted those heroes their blessing or falna so they would be better able to defeat the hordes of monsters. The Gods/Godesses also helped seal most of the monsters underground by helping build the Tower of Babel over the largest hole spewing monsters.

Become an adventurer, enter Orario, the city with a dungeon full of monsters that drop magic stones and occasional loot. Join the familla of a God/Goddess! Gain a falna, with levels, stats, skills, and developmental abilities. Although humans are a majority there are also Elves, people with animal traits called Beast People such as Renarts: fox people, Chienthrope: dog people, Cat people, and a few more random races such as Palum and Dwarves.

Crossover/fusion:

With both Monster Hunter World and Danmachi crossed over/ fused there will be differences in the new world due to the merge. Most details and characters in Orario city will come from Danmachi, with the occasional character from Monster Hunter, and even a few cameo characters/references to other worlds. In this world instead of all monsters except from those in the dungeon beneath the Tower of Babel being mostly wiped out, or generally weaker than their dungeon counterpart, there is a major difference. With Monster Hunter World added in this world the monsters left on the surface bred, mutated, and bred some more while the Gods/Godesses were busy with building the Tower of Babel and creating famillias by granting their blessing to the various heroes. There are also other smaller dungeon entrances in other continents that are the source of monsters there.

The locations listed in Monster Hunter World will be added onto the continent Orario is on or be close enough for Monster Hunters to travel to.

As Orario developed a guild of adventurers, the rest of the world tried to cope with all the mutated monsters left outside the dungeon and developed a guild of Monster Hunters and a community that did their best to survive the drastically different ecosystem that developed due to the mutated monsters. A few smaller dungeon entrances on the continent where Orario city formed were missed by the gods/goddesses which allows small amounts of monsters to continually escape and replenish the surface mutated monsters, but no one has yet found those entrances to try sealing them.

Fortunately for humanity and the other races they discovered that instead of everything but the magic stone and occasional dropped loot dissolving the mutated monsters had become true beasts, thus their entire bodies could be harvested for food, armor, tools, weapons, and ingredients for potions and enchantments. Strangely even many plants and native animals have mutated that act as food for the surface monsters and many are even edible by humankind and can have special effects that can aid them.

Monsters in the dungeon of Orario hate all sentient beings and try to kill them, like the dungeon itself. But are generally predictable and rarely stray far from the floor level they are spawned on. Most Gods/Goddesses and familias stick to Orario, but some have been banished to the rest of the world due to crimes, losing power plays, and a few willingly leave to gather more resources from the rest of the world in hopes of gaining an advantage dealing with the dungeon. Despite the dangers of the dungeon, Orario is considered one of the safest, most advanced cities in the world due to the abundance of fortifications and famillias of adventurers blessed by the gods/goddesses, and the ease of collecting magic stones to make magical powered devices.

Monsters from the surface are more dangerous, generally larger, and roam at nearly random within habitats capable of supporting them, but do not always hate sentient beings and generally only attack when they are hungry, defending their young, defending their territory, or trying to show off for potential mates. Some monsters have even been domesticated by humankind and aid them with hunting other monsters or the daily lives of the people.

Back-story Options:

Take the place of one of the main female characters in the city of Orario, but with some time spent outside Orario before getting the chance to move there.

What did she know about those worlds? Feline asked herself.

Feline had read fan-fiction and wiki articles about Danmachi and so knew the general storyline, with the main character being Bell Cranel and his main love interest being Ais Wallenstein, but multiple other women falling for Bell and Ais staying as an unobtainable goal for most of the story. She had read fan-fiction spoilers and knew that genre well enough that she a general idea of most of the events, albeit they might be different from the original version since it was fan-fiction after all.

According to what she recalled there were lots of adventures all centered around Bell Cranel; a special weapon called a Hestia knife, something about Minotaurs, a war-game with the Apollo familia, fan-service of various women, and plot twists of course- some secret organization trying to accomplish some nebulous heinous goal. Something about plant monsters taken outside the dungeon, there was an End-boss called the One-eyed Black Dragon that was referred to that obviously all the characters would unite and take down at some future point, and something about Xenos, monsters that gained sentience.

Although dangerous, the dangers could be managed since she would have a chance to train and would actually be able to use weapons and magic in that world.

The romantic angle and the title of the story heavily implied a future harem, with Ais joining near the end but somehow becoming the lead due to Bell's emotions being stronger for her as well as the fact that Ais is one of the strongest female adventurers.

Most of the female characters just seemed to be there to provide fan-service, or support the main character in some way while falling in love with him, but a few were developed enough and became strong enough that Feline felt she would not mind becoming one of them.

Feline was already heavily leaning toward choosing Ais Wallenstein though.

Although Feline herself had only had a single relationship and a few one sided crushes either on her or for someone she had never approached or acted on, she had always longed for some sort of romance in her life. She had been bisexual with a partially denied preference for women given how uncertain she was that any attractive women would also be bisexual or Lesbian and accept any advances. Her single relationship had been with a trap/transexual who looked like a woman but was a man in the process of taking treatments to become a woman that she dated in college but who left after having sex with her once. She had later decided based on some of his/her comments that the relationship was mostly the guy wanting to test how the treatments changed their sexual experience. That had soured most of her desire to continue dating.

Before that she had a few crushes on boys with long hair, but had believed herself 'strait'. After that relationship the woman changed her idea on her sexual preference, but still did not actually act on it despite privately longing for something and reading lots of fan-fiction and romance stories that had sex in order to 'educate herself' and as a substitute for an actual relationship.

The idea of being the main romantic interest of a slightly trap-like boy and potentially becoming part of a harem where she could hopefully also be accepted by the women in the harem as well was actually appealing to Feline, so she decided to chose Ais Wallenstein with a few modifications.

It had never made much sense to Feline for Ais to be human, but capable of wind magic and with a version of the story's imposed aversion to touch that most elves were said to have, in the form of disliking 'perverted' actions. So making her version of Ais half elf/ half wind spirit in reality made more sense to the woman. She also wanted more time to hopefully become level 7 or higher rather than level 6 so chose to change when in the time-line she would be transported to the future. She knew or had read vaguely that 15 years prior to the story start the Zeus/Hera familias had attempted to complete a great quest regarding a boss monster/great beast called a One-eyed Black Dragon. They had apparently failed and had mostly died, leaving a vacuum of power the Freya and Loki familias had attempted to fill, though it had taken them 15 years to gain enough power to reach where the Zeus/Hera famillias were stopped. She also knew that the character Ais Wallenstein had an obsession with killing that same Black dragon due to it killing her father and kidnapping her mother.

Though Feline was not sure exactly how the original Ais Wallenstein's family were killed and kidnapped by a boss monster in the distant past, with Ais being present to see it, since there was no way two parents would be reckless enough to bring their child into a dungeon. Unless it was supposed to be before the god's descended or the early years when Orario and the tower of Babel were not established when monsters roamed freely? But she had also read a fanfiction story where Ais was rescued by an artifact belonging to the Zeus/Hera pantheon that had been lost to time after their failure, so she was not sure how that all worked. Regardless with the crossover/fusion element the plot holes if there were any would likely be fixed by the fact that monsters were not limited solely to the dungeon with occasional weak ones roaming outside.

Though she did not want to change that failure on the part of the Zeus/Hera famillia since she knew it was likely a major plot point, and she would want to have a major part of killing the Black Dragon herself if she had Ais Wallenstein's memories. Feline also knew that she would not be able to enter Orario right away anyway so chose to be transported to 3 years before that failure, or 18 years before the start of the canon story. As a half-elf/wind spirit she should look young anyway for decades so even if she would be 23 at least by the time Bell Cranel came that would not change much hopefully.

Since she did not intend to be too much of a cougar, cradle robber or whatever the appropriate term was, she would wait for Bell Cranel to grow up for a few years before actually agreeing to entering a relationship with him, but would hopefully be able to get to know him and casually show that his crush was not completely hopeless to keep his interest. The Ais Wallenstein in the story helped him train, didn't she? That wait would also hopefully give time for the harem to start, with her maybe being able to flirt with some of the future harem members to show she was not opposed to the idea of a harem.

While growing stronger than the original Ais was certainly possible and a good goal, the woman also wanted to have fun. In many stories people with Wind powers gained the ability to fly, and that was an ultimate dream and expression of freedom in many stories the woman read, so Feline was sure she could leverage one of the magic skills to give her that ability too, maybe with a staff glider like in Avatar: the last Airbender, or some sort of custom outfit with wings on it. Even if it would not be incredibly useful in most of the dungeon with the likely low ceilings, some of the lower floors would be more open, and flying could be useful and fun if she wanted to go outside Orario. Since this was a crossover/fusion there would be interesting things to do outside Orario as well, such as hunting those monsters instead of just the ones in the dungeon.

As for the Monster Hunter World, Feline was at a loss. It was based on a game rather than a story, and not one she had ever played. It was relatively new, only being released 2 years before her last memory of life. So although there were some fan-fiction stories that used it, mostly crossovers, Feline did not know much. She knew most of the monsters were like dinosaurs, dragons, wyverns, animals with special features, or mythological beasts. Most of the monsters had a special ability that made them even more dangerous related to an element, but not all of the classical elements were used, with a few extra elements instead.

The Monster Hunters could harvest the hides, claws, teeth and other body parts of the monsters to make special weapons, armor, and potions that they used to take down the tougher monsters. There was one very short crossover she had read between Danmachi and Monster Hunter that implied that nearly all monsters in Monster Hunter were much more dangerous than most of those in the upper parts of the dungeon, so Monster Hunters were considered as tough as lvl 2 or 3 adventurers at the least, but that crossover, like most, was unfinished.

"Choose Ais Wallenstein with modifications" Feline said.

A keyboard appeared with the words new back-story modifications for Ais Wallenstein. With a blinking cursor.

Feline began typing, anytime she tried to add something that she apparently did not have enough points for a red line would show up underneath, as if the words were all misspelled. The original back-story details and even notes from the ROB appeared and were inserted into Feline's own writing.

So her new background for her character was:

Ais Wallenstein-

the daughter of a Wind Spirit Aria and a warrior High Elf. At five years old the One-eyed Black dragon killed your father as he valiantly told your mother and yourself to run, he would hold it off long enough for help to arrive. Only for the dragon to kill him quickly and swoop after them both mere minutes later, pick up your mother and you and start to fly away, presumably to eat her later after having killed and maybe eaten your father (this might become a plot point in the future so take note of the specific wording). As the black dragon is flying your mother lets you drop, hoping to use her magic to slow the fall enough for you to survive. As you are falling to a potentially crippling injury, a mysterious magic will transport you to the relative safety of the future. You will start gaining your past-life memories after this point, starting the first time you fall into a natural sleep.

This One-eyed Black Dragon was originally on one of the lower floors of the dungeon but chased an adventurer outside the dungeon and mutated after eating both humans and surface monsters. You will be born in the early years of the gods/godesses descending, although after the Zeus/Hera famillias came to power, only for a mysterious power to transport you to 3 years before the Hera/Zeus famillia undertake the 3 great quests, with the 3rd Quest being to kill the One-eyed Black Dragon. (if you enter Orario before the expedition and make big enough changes the failure of their famillias might change and the possible future with it.)

You will not be transported directly to Orario. You will have to survive the surface monsters, hope to find someplace safe to grow up a bit and one of the random gods/goddesses outside of Orario, gain their falna, then after learning and serving them for a little, convince them to let you go and make your way to Orario if you chose to try to join the main story. You can also choose to remain outside Orario to explore the rest of the world.

Due to choosing Random/Obscure and crossover you will gain the Inventory skill as well as the race-born fast-chant Ariel Tempest magic upon 1st gaining a falna. Both skills can be leveled up to become more useful even before you reach level 2 if you work hard enough, but will automatically level up slightly when you reach a new level. Though not a direct skill listed on the falna you will be vaguely more aware of your Stats, health, and magic levels than most even without your god/goddess updating the falna, and if you put in enough work they will grow a bit faster than average due to that awareness helping you. You will also have a weak version of gamer's body, mostly the ability to be refreshed and heal very quickly after sleeping for only a few hours rather than the 8 most people need. This will be listed as a developmental ability, Resilient body on your falna when you get one, but will exist even before gaining a falna.

As a half elf/wind spirit you will have keen eyesight in most light conditions, be able to see details and movement of even relatively far away objects, have fast reflexes, an innate sense of wind currents and weather patterns related to wind, and a near instinctive connection and understanding of nature. You will not escape the elvish aversion to touch of the unworthy, but if you have strong positive emotions for someone that will not be an issue. You will also potentially have a very long lifespan with the majority looking and feeling at your prime(around 23) if you do not die due to violence or sickness.

For all these benefits, you will gain a minor curse/affliction Air-headed/Oblivious that will be listed on your falna, but affect you even if you do not gain one. You will have to overcome the affliction through focused meditation, concentration exercises, and time experiencing and memorizing your surroundings as well as help from other people.

Your memories of your previous life, the choices you made that lead to this life, and what little knowledge of the franchises/worlds that make up this new world you have will come to you in dreams and flashbacks after you are transported to your chosen time and will make your Air-headed/Oblivious curse much worse until all important memories are sorted with focused meditation.

After hesitating a bit, trying to see if there was anything else she could add, Feline said "I choose this, Confirm"

Good Luck with your new life! May you live in interesting times!

Some characters loosely based on characters in those stories may be added if I get permission from the authors. I have no idea of the personalities or looks from characters in the original Monster Hunter World so will be using those in fan-fictions I read. I already have permission to borrow characters from a third fan-fiction which I will list at the top of the next chapter.
