Choosing Class Leader of Fire and Emerald

"Did you see this joke? It says he's a teacher now." A young man tossed down a newspaper of All Might being announced as a new teacher at UA High. He sits at a bar within a small bar.

"Hey. What do you think will happen when the mighty Symbol of Peace… is finally killed by the villains?" The young man asked, revealing himself to be literally a hand on his face.

The scene also shows the bartender is literally a black mist man and one large muscular man with a bird face and sharp teeth. The air within that bar room is very much darkness as these people are villains, and they're the very dangerous kind too.

(Next Day, UA High School)

"Hey, you! Can you tell us what it's like to work closely with All Might?!" A news reporter woman asked the nervous Izuku a question about All Might teaching here in UA High.

"U-Um, sorry, I have to go to the, uh, the nurse's office! Yeah, right away!" Izuku hurried away from the cameras and the people asking the questions.

"Excuse me, can you tell us how All Might is fairing in class?" The news reporter woman asked Mileena and her sisters and Sheeva.

"He wanted us to experience that would normally be later in our hero training, but he has shown us that battling against other people is a lot different than fighting robots." Kitana answered.

"But he can be a bit annoying when flexing his muscles too much." Mileena shrugged before they walk away.

"Are you one of All Might's students? Tell us—what's the Symbol of Peace like in person?" The news reporter woman asked the next students who are Ochaco and Cassie.

"What's he like? Uh, he… He's super muscle-y. Yeah!" Ochaco answered the best she could.

"My mom said that All Might reminds her of my dad, both like to smile a lot when showing off after saving the day." Cassie said.

"How is he fairing as a teacher; what are you learning?" The news reporter woman asked another student such as Kuai Liang.

"While All Might may still be new to teaching, he is doing the best he can to help us be prepared for when the time comes for us do what must be done." Kuai Liang shared his opinion.

"Excuse me, two you kids! Are you in All Might's class?" The news reporter woman asked Katsuki and Baraka, but then she started to feel the pale blonde hair kid looks familiar.

"Oh, hold on. Aren't you that Sludge Villain kid?" She asked, having remember that incident with the sludge villain from around one year ago.

But Katsuki really didn't like being reminded of that time as he grunts.

"Walk away." Katsuki said, warning her that he might do something very bad to her.

"Now I can see why being a famous hero isn't always a good thing." Baraka commented.

"Please, sir. Ma'am. Can you get us All Might for us? Also, you look like a mess, what's your deal?" The news reporter woman asked and wondered if this tired-looking man is really a pro hero teaching in this school.

"Believe it or not, this is his normal look because he doesn't get enough sleep in the night." Sonya said.

"Also, I'm sorry to say but you all came out at a bad timing because All Might is not here today. You could try again in a few days or later than before, but right now we're trying to have classes today." Sonya said before she and Aizawa walk away.

"But my viewers wanna know how he's adjusting to life as a teacher!" The news reporter woman said.

"Hey, wait! There are rumors going around about a new Hero course class, and this course seems like a darker version of that. Can you give us a comment on that?" One man asked.

Sonya stops for a little moment, thinking word about the Mortal Kombat class would get out eventually that everyone will know about the heroic killing program sooner or later, so she decided to give them a few words.

She turned around and grab a mic from the male reporter.

"All I can say is that we're the kind of heroes who are prepared to do what must be done to the villains unlike the other ones you know. Better be ready because there are new breed of heroes coming, and they'll bring in the fatality." Sonya said before crushing the mic and walking away.

This left the reporters and news people both shocked and confused at the same time, wondering what exactly was that woman going on about?

"Was really necessary?" Aizawa asked.

"Just thought giving them a little heads up." Sonya shrugged.

"Well, I'll never understand how All Might can get anything done with this media circus stepping on his cape." Aizawa said.

"He just has better tolerance and more patient than you." Sonya stated.

The news reporter woman was curious about what that woman said about this new hero course class, but right now all she wants is to have a word with All Might to know why he even decided to become a teacher in the first place.

"All right… If you won't bring All Might out, I'll—"

"Hey, wait!" The camera man shouted for her to stop.

Suddenly the gate has been shut by layers of iron barriers as she activated the UA security barrier system to keep the press out.

"Hey! What's going on?!" The news reporter woman gasped that she almost gotten hurt from this and fell on her knees.

"Don't you know about the school's defenses? This gate is the UA Barrier." The cameraman mentioned.

"Defenses? It practically killed me!" The news reporter woman proclaimed, even though that was almost her own fault.

"Yeah, well, it's designed to stop anyone who doesn't have a student ID or special pass from entering the campus. Guess it works. Apparently, there are security sensors like this all over the place." The cameraman explained.

"Keeping the public out. This school thinks it's untouchable!" The news reporter woman angered.

"The least they could do is grant me one interview." The news reporter woman complained.

"I know, right? We've been here for two days, and I don't have a single comment on the record yet." The cameraman agreed with his partner.

Izuku: The news that All Might had been hired as a faculty member at UA took the entire nation by surprise. Naturally, the media swarmed the school in search of a story. Everyone wanted to get their hands on All Might. Yeah. Everyone.

Just across the street of the UA school and the crowd of reporters, a single lone man is looking onward at the commotion with a dark intention of being here.

(Mortal Kombat Class)

"Alright everyone, I've gone over the fights from yesterday combat class and I have to see that you all did… fine." Sonya shared on what she thinks.

"Fine? Just like that?" Kung Lao felt like he's been downgraded.

"Well, there were some of you that had problems with your combat skills and working with others such as Samui not working well with the team she was put in and rushes in too much." Sonya mentioned.

"Still can't believe I was stopped by some stupid tape and glue." Samui was angered by that loss.

"Which is why you need to be more careful and try to work with the people around you." Kuai Liang scolded.

"Himiko, you seem to be good with stealth, but that's bullshit if the opponent can find you and prevent you from using your Quirk. Try to react quicker." Sonya said.

"Okay, but I got was worth it." Himiko giggled creepy.

"Baraka and Kabal, the two of you cost your team big time had you not been arguing most of the time." Sonya glared at the two, her stare sends shivers down their spines.

"He made fun of my claws." Baraka stated.

"And he was growling too much." Kabal proclaimed.

"And Mileena, I was told about your problem with having your mask being remove. Pathetic, losing one piece of cloth isn't the end of the world. Try to overcome that weakness." Sonya ordered.

"Yes, ma'am." Mileena sighed.

"Now, with that out of the way, it's time we get on with the normal class stuff such as choosing one of you to be the Class Representative." Sonya announced.

And that's when everyone starts raising their hands trying to get their teacher to pick one of them like Kabal claiming that he could get things done faster or Jacqui wanting to keep things done in order or Grey hoping to help find peace with everyone.

Izuku:In a normal classroom, a representative's duties would just be a bunch of extra work. But here in the Hero Course, there's more to it. It's a way to get noticed by agencies and prove you can lead a team like a real pro.

Izuku is surprised to see that most of his classmates want to become Class Representative since he thought some of them aren't interested in that sort of thing.

This could also be his chance to show that he is good at leading others, so he also raises his hand.

"Okay, okay, settle down everyone." Sonya ordered, and soon everyone calm down.

"Now, I see some of you have some potential to being a leader and I have been thinking about this a lot since the first day." Sonya crossed her arms.

"And so, I have come to the decision of who will be the Class Representative." Sonya had already made her decision.

"No doubt it's going to be me." Kung Lao proclaimed with a smirk.

"Hanzo Hasashi, you'll be Class Mortal Kombat's Representative." Sonya announced.

"What?" Kung Lao was shocked that he wasn't picked to lead the class while Erron and Cassie chuckled of the poor guy's reaction.

"I can tell you have some problem trusting others than Kuai Liang, but you also have good instincts on those around you. Maybe light the way with your fire and lead. There is also the fact that you're going to be head of your clan, this could help gain some experience." Sonya explained why she picked Hanzo.

"I shall not fail you, Blade-Sensei." Hanzo promised.

"And for the one who will be the Vice-Representative of the class will be Izuku Midoriya." Sonya announced.

"Oh, come on…!" Kung Lao exclaimed.

"M-Me?" Izuku gasped in shock.

"B-But Blade-Sensei, why am I being put into the position?" Izuki asked.

"Because you demonstrated some good leadership when you told your team about the plan and put faith in them when you had to be separated under circumstances, that shows you got a good heart." Sonya explained.

"(Wow, she really got that from the combat training?)" Izuku thought was surprised.

"I'm okay with Izuku being out front, he makes me feel safer since he saved me when we first met." Mileena approved of this.

"Now I really want to know." Cassie smiled, feeling interested in that story.

"The guy does shoot straight like bullet." Erron commented.

"I can smell him being trustworthy." Baraka nodded.

"He's super cute, so I'm okay with it." Himiko smiled with her fingers on her cheeks.

Izuku was more surprised to hear that some of his classmates have shared their words that he would be great to be second-in-command for the class, this was something new to him as he hasn't really thought about himself to being a leader or even a vice-representative.

But now Izuku has been place in the position that could help him gain some more confidence in himself while earning the trust of everyone in this classroom.

"Very well, I'll gladly accept. If that's alright with you, Hisashi." Izuku accepted the task.

"I will be looking forward to working with you from now." Hanzo said.

Well, today in school certainly went into something Izuku hadn't thought of before until now, and he'll have to do his very best to help Hanzo lead the Mortal Kombat class to the best of his abilities.

(Lunchtime)

"Oh man… I can't believe I'm Vice-Class Representative." Izuku exclaimed as he sat at the table along with Kirāfamirī sisters, Sheeva, and surprisingly Baraka and Erron.

"I don't know what you're so nervous about, Hanzo will be doing most of the heavy lifting." Mileena pointed out.

"No Mileena, the point about both of them being leaders of our class is to help share the burden and to show some trust to each other while showing that same trust to the class." Jade explained.

"I got a lot of things to do in order to earn the trust of our class." Izuku said.

"You will do fine; you have the heart of a dragon." Sheeva believed.

"Thank you, I guess." Izuku said, not really sure what she meant by that.

"Well, it's too late to back down now. You might as well get use to the job or else you'll end up holding us back." Erron pointed out.

"Leadership is a difficult task, but you'll do good." Baraka commented.

"I'm just not sure if I have what it takes to be a vice-leader, it's gonna be a lot of loads on my shoulder." Izuku said.

"Oh, so you're the Vice-Class Representative? That's really cool, Deku." Ochaco smiled as she and others walk up to them.

"Hello, hope you don't mind if we sit with you." Tsuyu greeted.

"Not at all, it's welcoming to have more friends." Kitana allowed.

"We thank you for allowing us to be here." Tenya said.

"So, you were talking about Class-Representative. Sounds like you guys just went through it like Class 1-A." Setsuna said as they sat down.

"Really?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah, we got Momo as the Class Representative and Iida here is the Vice." Ochaco revealed.

"I heard that you don't think you can help lead your call, I say you'll be fine. Your courage and quick thinking under stress will help you make a worthy leader, not to mention the strength you've demonstrated back in the exam." Tenya said.

"That's a nice thing you said to me." Izuku was surprised.

"Ribbit. Even though he wanted to have the position of leader for himself." Tsuyu said.

"Well, I voted for you because you look the part. 'Cause of the glasses." Ochaco commented.

"(That's not how we pick our leaders.)" Izuku thought sweat dropped.

"Iida had us do a voting system to see which one of us are trusted the most to lead our class, even though he wanted the job for himself." Tsuyu explained.

"Oh my, that must've been frustrated for you." Mileena commented.

"Wanting a job and being suited to it are quite different things. Observing the Iida family's hero agency has taught me that much." Tenya said.

"Agency?"Everyone at the table said in surprise. This is the first time they hear about Tenya's family having an agency.

"Iida, does your family do any big business?" Sheeva asked which causes Tenya to flinch upon realizing what she just said.

"Oh, it's… nothing." Tenya tried to brush off the subject.

"Too late for that, you might as well tell them." Erron shrugged.

"Wha…? You already knew?" Tenya asked the cowboy from the exam.

"I had a feeling when we met back in the exam, the big ringer was that hero costume of yours." Erron explained.

"Oh, I see…" Tenya sighed, seeing there is no point in hiding this any longer.

"Uh—I was afraid people would treat me differently if they knew about my family." Tenya looked away, feeling the stares from his classmates and others.

"You see, the Iidas have been Pro Heroes for generations. It runs in our blood." Tenya revealed.

"What? That's awesome!" Izuku and Ochaco were amazed.

"Are any of you familiar with the Turbo Hero: Ingenium?" Tenya asked.

"I know all about him! He's a super-popular pro with 65 sidekicks working alongside him at his Tokyo agency!" Izuku smiled excitedly. Knowing about Ingenium with everything he studied from the internet and such.

"Oh, he's so cute when he's being a fanboy." Mileena giggled.

"If Ingenium is part of your family then that would make him a relative." Kitana deduced that fact.

"Exactly. "He's my elder brother!" Tenya revealed as he stood up proudly.

"Your family's famous!" Ochaco squealed.

"I can't believe it!" Izuku shouted with excitement. He couldn't believe that he is meeting someone who happened to be the younger brother of the famous and heroic man known as Ingenium, making him feel nervous on the inside about wanting to be friends with him.
