Chimps are typically way stronger than measly humans. Their youngsters and elderly are rather childish and clownish, but the adults themselves are pretty damn cruel when they go out to fight against wary neighbours. Ironically, they mostly cooperate and can share food with each other in the best of times.
The much bigger gorillas are far gentler than chimps, but they can be pretty shy and prefer to be out of the spotlight. Unless provoked, they mainly munch around the jungle fruits and leaves while teaching each other many things.
Here come the classical Manning's savannah Manganis. THOSE primates have the size and strength of Gorillas and the rowdiness of chimpanzees, but they mostly use cruelty in moderation. Anyway, they are the grumpy ones of the great ape cryptid family.
