Chapter 82: Festival Planning

OF course with the plan set everyone was excited for was a big deal after all plus it would be helping other classes relax.

However that was when the only thing…

Eri had gotten word on what the festival is and was confused and talked to Inko about it.

"It's a big event where everyone does all sorts of things, there's exbibits performances and food." Said Inko, "I think there might be a stand that will sell candy apples."

"Candy apples?" asked Eri.

They had learned that apples were Eri's favorite food.

"They're apples that dipped in syrup to make them even sweeter." Said Inko.

"Even sweeter?" asked Eri drooling at the thought.

"Yes even sweeter." Said Inko.

Needless to say Eri was super excited for the festival.

As most of the members of the class walked to the dorms one day after school (due to work studies catch up), they were talking about their plans.

However Katsuki noticed two general studies students nearby.

"Did you hear that Class A is putting on a concert for our sake?" asked one of them.

"Please it's just so they can show off… as usual." Said the other.

Katsuki noticed the two looking at the class and glaring at them.

"Katsuki?" asked Toru

"It's nothing." Muttered Katsuki.

She counited her way to the dorm grumpy.

And so with a month away they knew they had to choose who did what.

As they were talking about the music that would be best for dancing, Jiro brought up that since they needed a band.

"Does anyone know how to play the drums or base?" asked Jiro, "First we need a drummer to give our band some bones. I'm more of a guitarist and I'm still only learning. If I have to teach a complete beginner pulling this off will be tough."

"Don't worry… I do know a member of the class who knows how the play." Said Tenya.

"Wait really?" asked Jiro.

"Seriously Leg Day! Don't volunteer me without asking first!" yelled Katsuki.

"Oh I apologize." Said Tenya.

"Is because of those general studies jerks?" asked Toru.

Everyone looked at Toru.

"WE overheard some jerk general studies students talking about the plans." Said Toru.

"Wait are you serious?" asked Jiro.

"You were further away so I guess you didn't hear." Said Toru.

"Those fuckers hate us!" yelled Katsuki, "How the fuck is us helping them going to get rid of their stress."

"Katsuki…" said Shoto.

"Fuckers like that don't change…" said Katsuki, "They make up their minds about you and no matter what you do! They never say anything otherwise."

Something the class always seemed to forget was that the fact Katsuki was bullied.

It was something they knew but it was so rarely brought up that it didn't work.

"We shouldn't be trying to cozy up to those assholes! Why should we!" yelled Katsuki.

Before anyone else could say anything else.

"We shouldn't be trying to cozy up to them!" yelled Katsuki, "We shouldn't just be boot lickers trying to get them like us! We have to do something else!"

And that's when they realized she wasn't saying no.

"We're going to kick they're ass using music, got it!" yelled Katsuki.

Jiro nodded.

"And besides if I said no, you guys would just get Deku and Aunty to convince me." Said Katsuki blushing a little, "And no one can say no to them."

No one argued with her because of that…

"Wait… are you really any good…" said Jiro realizing she hadn't shown off yet .

"Just give me the sticks..." She muttered and showed off her skill at playing the drums. That were brought out of Jiro's room.

Everyone was impressed by the skills.

"You're perfect." Said Jiro.

"All right! The talented Bombshell strikes again!" cheered Mina.

Katsuki just blush and looked away .

However there were still more instruments needed.

Thankfully there was someone else in class that knew how to play an instruments.

"When I was young as part of my upbringing I was taught to play piano… will that help?" asked Yaoyorozu.

"Cool! That's perfect Yaomomo, you should play the keyboard." Said Jiro, "Synth sounds are a part of club music we can't do without."

"I'll do my best!" said Yaoyorozu.

However there still other roles. However Mina realized something

"We need props.!" Said Mina.

Mina pulled up a video of something she knew would be a good idea to emulate showing a party that included special effects and even a disco ball.

She came up with three ideas for the pro department.

One was for Kirishima and Todoroki to team up and create a sparkling ice shower. Combined with Aoyama who was the disco ball.

Yes really…

Thankfully the members of the class returned from the extra classes… in fact that was the final extra class so they didn't need worry about it anymore.

"SO what did we miss?" asked Ochaco.

The five students got caught up to what they missed.

"All right Kacchan!" said Izuku cheering on his best friend as his tail wagged.

"Whatever." Said Katsuki.

"Aren't you going to be singing?" asked Ochaco.

"What no… I'm not…" said Jiro blushing.

"Singers get all of the chicks." Said Mineta.

"I can be a singer and a disco ball." Said Aoyama.

"I can't play an instrument for my life but I got a great voice!" said Kirishima.

They all tried out as they weren't that good.

"You should sing Jiro! Your signing is super cool when you were teaching!" said Toru.

"Stop making it harder than it has to be." Sighed Jiro .

She sighed and sang anyways… and her voice was extremely beautiful.

"It's unanimous!" cheered the class.

Of course Jiro was a blushing mess.

"Great no that's out of the way…" said a blushing Jiro, "We need guitarists. Preferably two of them."

Both Mineta and Kaminari volunteered.

Though Mineta was too small to play.

"I can't reach the strings because of my design!" he cried.

Yes really… he said that…

Tokoyami picked up the guitars and played a riff.

Turned out he was tripped up by the F-Cord.

Though Mineta ended up depressed he couldn't be a guitarist.

Thankfully Mina figured out a way for him to get happy for the festival by giving him a harem potion during the dance.

And so everyone had their role, with Koda and Sero joining Shoto and Kirishima in the crew and props.

With everyone part of the dance crew… though Aoyama was also part of the dance team to be honest.

Though later that evening, Kirishima approached Katsuki.

"Hey I heard about what you overheard." Said Kirishima.

Katsuki just looked at him silently.

"Hey I've been thinking about something." Said Kirishima, "Since the raid…"

"What about it?" asked Katsuki.

"Just some stuff about you." Said Kirishima.

"What do you mean?" asked Katsuki.

"I was thinking… after the performance we should spend the rest of the festival together." Said Kirishima, "Like you know…"

"Like a date?" asked Katsuki blushing.

"Um… maybe…" said Kirishima

"There's no maybe! Is it a date or not!" yelled Katsuki, "Because if it's a fucking date! Yeah! I want to go!"

"Well it should be that kind of date." Said Kirishima laughing.

Katsuki face palmed at her wording.

"You I mean!" she said blushing.

"So it's a date then!" laughed Kirishima.

"Yeah! It's a date!" said Katsuki.

Of course word spread throughout the class that they had agreed to make the festival into a date between.

"It's about time!" said Mina.

"We don't have to deal with their pinning anymore." Sighed Jiro.

"I know!" cheered Mina.

"We're both in here!" yelled Katsuki as this conversation was happening in the common room.

Of course that night was the mental conversation with everyone there.

"You are going to date Kiri?" asked Eri, "Oh wow."

"I can't believe everyone saying we've been pinning for each other." Though Katsuki with her eye twitching.

"You've been pinning for him since the USJ." thought Tsuyu.

"That's a fucking lie!" thought Katsuki.

"Really?" asked Ochaco.

"You've been into each for a while I always thought it was when you worked together during the USJ." Brought up Toru.

"That's not it." thought Katsuki blushing.

She thought about the moment she fell for him, the moment right before their match in the Sports Festival, the fact Kirishima didn't care she was born a boy or not.

However due to the joy and love tied to the memory she accidently shared with everyone… which meant everyone saw the memory.

"I didn't mean to share that!" thought Katsuki realizing they all saw it.

"Oh that's sweet!" gushed Toru.

"I can see why you fell for him hard!" agreed Ochaco.

"He was unintentionally smooth." Agreed Tsuyu.

"He even trying to flirt either." laughed Melissa.

"He was just being nice." Pointed out Shoto.

"It's fine Katsuki." thought Inko, "He's a very nice boy. And you don't have to hide form us why you like him."

"Thanks Aunty." thought Katsuki, "Don't…"

"Tell your mother." thought Inko, "Don't worry I won't tell her… you have to when you're ready."

"Besides I don't even know if it will go farther than the date." thought Katsuki.

"Don't worry it will be fine!" thought Ochaco.

"You got this!" thought Toru.

"Plus it's still a month away… so you hammer out what to do before then." thought Tsuyu.

"You're right." thought Katsuki.

"I wonder if I should give Kirishima the talk." Thought Izuku referring to a shovel talk.

"No…" thought Katsuki, "I'm pretty sure he knows you won't hurt him if he hurts me."

"You'd be the one to beat him up if he broke your heart." thought Shoto.

"Shut the fuck up!" thought Katsuki.

"Okay you have a good point…" thought Izuku.

"You shut up too." Mentally muttered Katsuki.

In a sort of mental corner of the conversation were Tenya, Tensei and Toshinori sort stood there metaphorically.

"So we have to deal with conversations about their romance sometimes." Thought Tensei.

"Yes…" thought Tenya.

"Unfortunately it comes with being bonded with teenage girls." thought Toshinori.

"You know we can all hear you… right?" asked Katsuki.

Everyone could feel the three's embarrassment from it.

Still with Katsuki as drummer for the band, Shoto helping with the special effects and everyone dancing along with a date the festival was looking good in the future.

But it was still a month away and quite a bit of prep… but for sure it was going to be fun!

Next Time: Eri wants a tour of the festival prep... and of course she drags along most of her fellow magical girls. While they do they learn about a rule put in place for safety... one that will shut down the festival if it happens. What will happen? Find out next time!

A/N: Yep! The ship is finally set sail. Though it's going to be a few chapters until the date for obvious reasons.
