I understand that a lot of people were waiting for an update, which is why I apologize in advance for being the messenger of bad news.

This is Kamikaze132's cousin, and it is with sorrow I've never felt before that I announce that my cousin has passed away. I don't wish to go into details, but what I can say is that he passed away in his sleep. He went to sleep at night and...never woke up.

There was no indication that he was going through any illness, which is why it came as a shock to our family. I'm very sorry to say, that my cousin will no longer be continuing his story writing endeavors. I can understand and to some degree, relate that many of you were waiting for his story to continue. I was waiting as well. I did not necessarily agree with the directions he took with his story, but it cannot be denied that my brother was very much talented when it came to spinning stories. He had wished to write an original story sometime ago but alas, that wish passed away with him.

As for the continuation of his stories, I'm afraid that I cannot do so. The story that my cousin favored to write...it's not something that I can write. My taste in stories is slightly different, but I haven't yet penned my ideas.

I haven't yet decided what I will do with this account. I may or may not close it. My cousin used to joke that one day he would allow me to publish my fiction from his account. I never really knew whether he was serious or not. All I know is that my cousin loved to read and write fanfiction, and would occasionally encourage me to write my own. I've yet to find that courage. If I do...I might write my stories from here, or I might not. I don't know.

That being said, I once again apologize. Leaving his readers hanging was the last thing he ever wanted to do, given how much hurt he himself was when reading unfinished stories. I knew that he was dealing with a block for some time, but he truly wanted to keep writing.

I hereby announce that "Ascendance of the Flash" is officially closed. I will deal with the messages he directly received in due time.

Farewell, my cousin's readers.
