Solar and Kelly ventured deep into the tomb of Tulak Hord. They then entered a room where an ancient machine hung above. Solar then had a strong feeling about the room. "This room..." Solar said.
"What is it?" Kelly asked as Solar examined the room.
"It's strong with the dark side." Solar then stood in front of the object in the middle of the room and placed his hand on it. "There is something in here." He then sat down in meditation as he started to glow red.
"Um...this is no time for meditating." The ground then began to shake as a wall on the left broke open. Solar quickly got up and activated his lightsabers. Some slug like monsters then came out of the destroyed wall. Kelly and Solar then charged at the monsters and attacked them. Solar cuts off the heads of some of them while Kelly just slashed at their bellies. Another wall across from them broke open as souls gathered on the ancient machine. The two leap across with a strike and chopped up the monsters as some of the slugs began to do a spit attack at them. They avoided the strikes and chopped them up. Souls of the dead monsters gathered at the machine again as the third and final wall revealed an even larger monster heading towards them. Solar jumped on its back and began to stab at it with his two lightsabers. The final soul gathered at the ancient machine once more and the object in the center broke open to reveal a tablet with ancient writings on it. When Solar was about to reach for it, Tulak Hord's voice could then be heard.
"Snooping around in my machine vault I see?" Tulak Hord said as he appeared. "You have mastered both light and dark now."
"I am no Sith," Solar said.
"This ancient machine you see here is my Red Engine. It was powered by hate and blood where it contained my hidden teachings. And now you have found it."
"You didn't come here to just congratulate me. What is it you want now?"
"I have come with a vision for you." Tulak Hord then used his power to reveal something in Solar's mind. The scenery changed into a hangar of the First Order's Star Destroyer. There he saw a group of Stormtroopers along with Kylo Ren backing Rey towards the edge of the hangar.
"Why did the Emperor come for me?" Rey asked Kylo Ren. "Why did he want to kill a child? Tell me."
"Because he saw what you would become," Kylo Ren explained. "You don't just have power. You have his power. You're his granddaughter. You are a Palpatine." Solar gasped as Rey looked shocked at the news. "My mother was the daughter of Vader. Your father was the son of the Emperor. What Palpatine doesn't know is we're a dyad in the Force, Rey. Two that are one. We'll kill him together and take the throne." Kylo Ren then takes off his helmet. "You know what you need to do. You know." He then offers his hand to Rey.
The vision came to an end as Rey said, "I do." The scenery reverted back to the Red Engine room as Solar shook his head.
"Rey is a...Palpatine?" Solar asked himself.
"Shocking news, isn't it?" Tulak Hord asked. "She didn't know it at first." Solar turned to Kelly and then back at Tulak Hord.
"What must I do?"
"Destroy this Emperor Palpatine with Rey and the galaxy will be saved from the might of his Final Order fleet."
"But I don't know where Exegol is located in the galaxy."
"You will know soon." Tulak Hord vanishes as Solar turns towards Kelly again.
"We must head back to the general. She might explain things to me."
"Right," Kelly said with a nod as she followed Solar out of the tomb and back to their ship.
Coming out of hyperspace, Solar and Kelly arrive back at the Resistance secret base. Their vessel touched down on the jungle surface and the boarding ramp lowered as Solar and Kelly stepped out of the ship. Finn saw them approaching and Solar looked at him as he stopped in front of him. "Where is the general?" Solar asked. "I need to see her."
"I'm afraid you can't see her," Finn said.
"Why not?" Kelly asked. Finn sighed and then revealed something bad.
"She's gone." Solar's eyes widened at the news and took a few steps back.
"Where is Rey then?" Solar asked.
"Missing after confronting Kylo Ren." Finn explained everything from the beginning as Solar listened to him.
After hearing the news of the death of Leia, Solar sat in his tent by himself alone believing that all is lost without her. He got up and walked towards his table to look at his lightsabers. "Hey, kid," a voice said behind him. The voice sounded familiar to him. It reminded him of his mother. He slowly turned to see the spirit of his mother; Moon Butterfly. He was surprised to see her mother here from across the galaxy. "I miss you, son."
"I've grown up now," Solar said. Moon slowly walked up to her son. "Are you dead?"
"No. I'm alive in you. Kylo Ren is dead, but Ben Solo has returned."
"I don't understand. The general of the Resistance is gone."
"She may be gone, but what she stood for and fought for is not gone." Solar turned away to look at his lightsabers on the table again. "Solar."
"I know what I must do, but I don't know if I have the strength to face the Emperor." Moon places her hand on Solar's shoulder.
"You do, Solar Butterfly." Solar reaches for his lightsabers and grabs them and puts them on his belt. Tears began to fall out of his eyes as he began to quietly cry.
"Mom..." Solar stopped speaking when Moon hugged him tight with a smile on her face.
"I know." Moon's spirit vanished as Solar turned around to see nothing in his tent. Kelly enters the tent bearing news. Solar wiped off his tears and faced his friend.
"News from the acting general," Kelly announced.
"Acting general?" Solar asked; confused as she followed Kelly out of the tent.
