Chapter 1: The Wishes

Note: Not all of the names are the real names of the people in this story)

I didn't want any of this. None of this was my fault. I just live in an average world. Nothing could happen to me, right? Wrong. I live in Cape Coral, Florida (I used to live there a WHILE ago, so if things are still there, they are, dont judge if you live there and I'm wrong. Also, some made up places will be there, in sake of the plot), a nice, sunny town full of life and energy. But, there is a place in Fort Almond, an abandoned, old fort from way back when, on the beach. Unfortunately, there was a shooting there. And I could save the family. At the cost of my death. My name is Jakk Yorkford. I am 12 years old. And I am at the gates of heaven.

"Hello young man." God said to me. "I see you have died, with a pure soul, and for that, I give you three wishes. "Okay, I'd like to be alive agian." I started. I remebered my life when I was alive. I was rideculed every day. "I'd like to find love." I said. I thought about what I liked, then smiled. "And I would like for Pokemon to be real, with six strong Pokemon for me." I finished. God smiled and laughed at my wishes. "Alright, young one. Three wishes, coming right up. But, I should warn you. For the first wish, the shooting never happened, and it was a normal beach day. For the second one, it will not come straight away. And for the third one, not only Pokemon, but everything about Pokemon will be real, including characters." "I accept those three rules." I said. Then everything went black.

I woke up on my bed the next day, in a black tanktop with a slanted blue stripe in the middle of it, with sweatpants with a white line on the sides. I looked at the edge of my room, and I saw Trainer shoes and a hat. The hat was a cap, but unlike Ash's it had a blue indigo league symbol, instead of green. I put on my shoes and shirt, and saw a belt hanging in my closet, with five Pokeballs hanging on it. I look around my room, until my mom walks in, a Riolu running behind her, before jumping on me. I look at my Pokeballs. Wailord. Luxray. Arcanine. Umbreon. How did I know this? I looked at the final one. Medicham. "Come on, Jakk!" You're going to be late for school!" My mom exclaimed. My eyes widened, I looked at the time, and bolted, grabbing a pop-tart to go. I run out, and I see the bus pass me. I look at my belt on me. "Arcanine, come on out!" I exclaimed, feeling like a true trainer. "Come on, let's go to school!"

Twenty minutes later…

That was so dizzying! Luckily, I made it to school. Lian, my best friend, was trying to protect John King from the bullies of the school, Bryce and Alexander. I step in front of the madness, ready to be beat up, once again, but wait. I have Pokemon. "Oh, are you gonna throw a Pokeball at me?" Bryce mocked. "Oh no!" Alexander joked. I threw Umbreon's Pokeball behind me, and Bryce's look went from laughing to petrified. "You leave me no choice. I heard everyone received 1 Pokemon, and you got Umbreon?" Bryce proceded to laugh, as he pulled out a Pokeball, and released a Haunter. Most of the crowd was shocked, but I just laughed. "What're you laughing at, idiot?" Bryce said. "He has a ghost!" I look behind me, at the person who said it, and it was John King. "Dark is super effective against the Ghost type." I said. "Well, Pokemon is made up, so we get to choose types!" Bryce. "Ghost Attack!" Bryce shouted. Haunter looked confused but assumed he meatn a ghost move, so he charged up a Shadow Ball, and threw it Umbreon. "Dark-Types are immune to Ghost, as well as super effective against. "Dark Pulse!" I shouted, Umbreon releasing a black ball of darkness, OH-KOing the Haunter. "Alexander, get him!" Bryce shouted to him. "Go, Venus Flytrap!" He shouted, as a Carnivine was released. "Return." I said. "You accepting defeat?" Bryce said. "You know for a fact I never give up until the very end. Wanna know where I learned that from? Ash Ketchum. Arcanine!" I released my large fiery beast. "When'd he get two?" Bryce cowered in fear. I smirked. "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!?" I shouted. "My name's Jakk Yorkford! My goal is to become a Pokemon Master!" Bryce cowered. "Fire Fang on Carnvine!" I shout, Arcanine almost dissapearing, reappearing right next to Carnivine, singing it's fiery teeth into the vine Pokemon. "Venus!"

"Venus?" Bryce asked Alexander. "It's easier to say than Carnivine. And you have a Haunter, it's way easier to pronounce." Lian sighs, as a pokeball appears on Lians belt. He throws it, and an Audino was released. "Aud!"

Timeskip to the end of school…

"Alright Lian, see ya later! I gotta go to my babysitt-cousin's house!" "Ight!" Lian replied. I walk a few blocks, and reach the house, with my babysitter's two oldest daughters, Tasha and Yolanda. They also had a younger sister, about 6 years old, Elaine. Tasha showed me the Pokemon that appeared for her, Prinplup, and Yolanda had a Slyveon. When Elaine came home from her first grade class, she showed me her pokemon, "Puppy", which was just a Growlithe, who she named Growly. So, we decided to go to Jaycee Park.

So, when we got there, a bunch of kids were playing with their Pokemon partners, there was one kid, who was sitting on the stairs. I walked up to him. "Hey, are you alright?" "Everyone got Pokemon partners but me." The boy pouted. "I'm Jakk. What's your name?" "Kall." "Alright, how about we try to catch one of these Pokemon?" I ask him. "Alright!" He said, and grabbed a Pokeball, and a Pokeball from my belt. Wait. That was Wailord's Pokeball. "Everybody look out!" I shout, as everybody starts running. Then, there was one girl that didn't do anything. My eyes widened as I started running at her…
