Probably follows "Finally" but really could be at any point after the one year gap.

It all started when Levy burst through the Guild doors one fine Tuesday afternoon.

Well, theoretically, it all started a month ago when they finally actually got their shit together and confessed to each other, but he hadn't known about it yet so technically it hadn't started at that point...

Anyway. Back on topic.

Levy barged through the entrance of the Guild, slamming the doors open in a way that was pretty out of character and scanned the crowd until she finally spotted him in the middle of a brawl, as was completely expected. With a crazed look on her face and seemingly no regard for her own safety, the short woman barged through the various fighters. Her brazen attitude seemed to be the only thing that warded off any attacks on her person from point A to point B. She only stopped once she was close enough to yank rather violently on Natsu's scarf.

He spun around with a fist raised to hurt the person who dared to touch his precious scarf, only to calm immediately once he saw who it was that got his attention.

Alas, the pink haired man didn't seem to notice the fire in her eyes - but then again he was pretty distracted by the random objects still flying around and making sure neither of them got hit, so maybe he can be forgiven for that fact.

"Hey, Levy!" Natsu chirped with his typical, if slightly confused, grin on his face. "What's up? What're you doing here? I thought you and Lucy were having a girls day?"

Yet, he missed the way her eye twitched at the mention of her blonde friend.

"Natsu," Levy said in what was obviously a forced calm voice, "Lu-chan needs your help with something. Can you go help her, please?"

He tilted his head to the side in confusion at what could garner such a response but shrugged and did as he was told. "Uhh, sure, o'course. See ya later, Levy!"

Natsu didn't seem to notice when Happy didn't follow him, nor Happy's cries for help when he got stuck in one of Levy's web spells.

"Yo, Luce!" Natsu called out as he jumped through the window of his girlfriend's apartment. "Hey, Levy said - woah."

He stopped dead when he found said girlfriend balled up on the floor, hurriedly wiping tears and snot off of her face. He immediately rushed forward and scooped her up.

"Lucy, what happened?" Natsu fretted, settling down in her place on the floor and placing her on his lap. "What's wrong?"

Lucy forced out a smile and looked away so her hair curtained off her face. "Ah, hi, Natsu. I didn't think Levy would actually... Um, nothing's wrong! Everything... everything's all good."

That made him frown. "Everything is obviously not all good, Luce," he said, attempting to guide her face back to look at him. He frowned even more when she resisted the movement. Instead, he did his best to sweep her hair out of the way. "Please tell me. I wanna help! What made you cry? Or who?!"

The blonde glanced back and bit her lip. "It's not... it's dumb. Don't worry about it."

"Lucy... please? Even if it's dumb, I still wanna know."

She sniffled and looked down, curling into herself even more. "It's really, really dumb, like not-even-really-a-problem dumb. Like, why-am-I-even-crying-I-know-it's-not-true dumb."

He smiled softly and murmured, "Anything that's got you this upset is obviously not dumb. Tell me what's wrong. Please?"

"It's not even that bad, I'm probably just hungry-"

"Lucy."

"Or maybe I need a nap or-"

"C'mon."

"Maybe my period is coming soon-"

"Seriously? Now you're really starting to worry me."

Lucy groaned and covered her face with her hands. "Stop! You being nice makes it so much worse!"

"Luce," Natsu said firmly as he pulled her hands off her face - and was relieved when she let him. "Lucy, I mean it. The build up is making this seem worse than it probably is."

She glanced up at him and sighed before nodding. "Okay. Just... don't laugh, okay?"

"I promise I won't."

She took a big breath in and her eyes focused on a point over his shoulder instead of meeting his eyes directly. "Do you think I'm pretty?"

Natsu stared at her incredulously before, despite his promise, letting out a bark of laughter. "Wow! You really had me going there for a second. I was worried there was something actually wrong!"
But his eyes widened when Lucy started tearing up and looking away again.

"Are you... are you serious?" Natsu said, completely dumbfounded. "You think I don't think you're pretty?"

"No! I mean, yes - maybe?" Lucy covered her face again and rested her forehead on her knees. "See, it's stupid! I know logically that you do - I can see it in the way you hold me and the way you treat me and how you look at me and... I know you think I'm pretty. I just..."

He hooked a finger beneath her chin and pulled it up so she had to meet his eyes. "You just what?"

She focused on that point over his shoulder again. "... It would just be nice to hear you say it."

"Lucy." He took her face in his hands and forced her to meet his eyes. "Lucy Heartfilia, you are pretty. Not only are you pretty, you are gorgeous. You are, without a doubt, the most beautiful person I have ever met - and will ever meet! On Earthland, on Edolas, on the Astral Plane, anywhere in the whole universe. You could be a goddess, you're so perfect." She blushed and tucked her head under his chin as he started to run his fingers through her golden hair. "Lucy, you're my whole world; you're my Earthland, my moon, my sun, my sky... You light up my life. Your smile is the definition of beauty. Your eyes are the epitome - see, look, I do listen to you - of divine." She was giggling by this point, lightly pushing on his shoulder to get him to stop, which, of course, only made him grin wider. "Your kindness sweeps me off my feet, I'm head over heels for your generosity, I count my blessings every time I get to witness your forgiveness-"

"Okay, okay, I get it!" Lucy finally interrupted, smiling. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed his cheek. "I love you and you can stop."

Natsu turned his head and nuzzled her nose with his. "No way! Now that you've got me started, I'm never gonna stop. This is gonna be a Thing now. I love you with all my heart, and I won't ever let you forget it!"

Much to Lucy's (feigned) chagrin, Natsu took this promise very seriously. He would bring it up in almost any - and every - situation.

From embarrassing

Lucy was by the bar, surrounded by the various gossipers of the guild who had all inevitably heard about her little freak out (she didn't blame Levy at all; she had actually shown up today to gush about how sweet Natsu's reaction had been).

Behind them, the usual brawl was going at its usual pace. Only, this time, something seemed a little... off.

Apparently, her boyfriend was feeling particularly affectionate today.

Every ten minutes or so, he would find his way over to the side she was on and brush past her, even if it was just to squeeze her hand or kiss her cheek or stroke her cheek. And every time, the crowd around her would coo and aww and increase their teasing a hundred fold.

It was especially bad when he actually ran up to her and pulled her into a kiss.

"Wow," Natsu breathed after, "you're really distracting."

He was almost immediately picked up by the collar of his shirt by Elfman, who proclaimed that "It's most unmanly to leave a fight unfinished!"

Lucy covered her bright red face as squeals erupted from everyone around her.

To quirky

"Achoo!"

Lucy had been sick for the past day with possibly the worst head cold she had ever had. Thankfully, she had her portable heater - also known as Natsu - to heat up her soup and keep her company.

Then again...

"How do you make that so adorable?" he asked after she blew her nose for the gazillionth time.

She just stared at him like he had grown a second head. The floor was literally covered with wads of snot-filled tissues. How could this ever be considered anything close to adorable?!

To sexy

The bathroom was filled with steam, though Lucy wasn't sure if it was from their recent shower or the fact that they were going at it again for what must have been the third time that day.

She was being held up by Natsu, her legs spread wide in his arms. She stared into the big mirror above her sink, panting and gasping for what little air she could drag into her lungs. One arm hooked back around his neck to give her the semblance of stability and the other reached down, her fingers spreading her folds so they could both clearly see his thick cock thrusting up into her wet pussy.

"Watch yourself, Luce," Natsu panted into her ear, knees bent to keep his balance while he plunged into her. "Keep your eyes open. Do you see how beautiful you are?"

She only keened in response, the air on her sensitive, exposed clit overwhelming her ability to speak. Her eyes were mesmerized by the sight of him fucking her but she did her best to follow his command and watch her face instead. What she saw was the flushed face of a woman completely at the mercy of the pink haired man behind her; the man who was obviously giving no quarter. A cocky grin spread across his lips as he met her eyes.

She could feel her orgasm coming up fast. She only needed a little more to send herself over, so she shifted her fingers and rubbed her clit while still holding her lower lips open.

Natsu groaned, watching how her breasts bounced and slapped against her chest, still damp from the shower, "That's it. Take it, Luce. Fuck, Lucy, yes-!"

Lucy couldn't help but interrupt him with a loud wail as she came without warning, squirting hard enough that her juices sprayed onto the mirror in front of her. With a moan, Natsu couldn't help but follow her over the edge, filling her completely.

"Good girl," he rasped afterwards, nuzzling her ear with his nose as their combined fluids dripped down his balls onto the floor. "But don't get too comfortable. I'm not done with you yet."

To totally disgusting

This mission sucked - pun completely intended.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!"

It's been two weeks that they had chased after this stupid monster and, honestly, it couldn't die fast enough.

"Ice Make: Cannon!"

Especially because it turned out to be the Queen of a nest of giant, blood-sucking mosquitoes.

"Requip: Heaven's Wheel Armor! Fly, my blades!"

It seemed like it would die easily - or, they supposed it would, because it had been relatively simple to take out it's children, even if there had been way too many of them - the biggest issue was that they needed to hit the damn thing.

"Star Dress: Taurus!"

Finally, finally, finally, Lucy managed to wrap her whip around one of its (her?) legs. She quickly used the extra strength Taurus lent her in this Star Dress and spun it around over her head before slamming it into the side of a nearby stone building. It was an effective way to splat it like the bug it was, but it also managed to knock down the entire structure. Not to mention, it also covered her and the rest of the team in monster goo. Thankfully, the rock dust and dirt it kicked up helped the goo become more of a paste, so that was great.

As the team took a moment to wipe off their faces and spit out the nastiness that inevitably found its way into their mouths, Natsu clambered over the wreckage and stood behind her, close enough that she could feel his warmth on her back. He grabbed her hips before she could turn to look at him and leaned down so she could feel his hot breath against her skin.

"That was the hottest thing I've ever seen," he whispered into her ear, pulling her hips back so he could grind his half hard erection against her ass. "I want you so badly right now."

Lucy turned in his arms and grinned impishly up at him. "I think I can help with that." She traced her fingers over the exposed muscles of his abdomen, grateful that he had decided to wear his vest today. "You know, the hotel we're staying at had a nice big mirror in the bathroom... maybe you could let me watch as you bent me over the counter this time?"

Natsu's eyes widened before he scooped her up in his arms and ran off, yelling back to their team that they were going ahead.

To just... perfect

"Congratulations!" Natsu shouted, racing up to Lucy after the Harvest Festival's annual beauty pageant. He picked her up and swung her around in the air in a big circle, forcing those around them to grumble and move out of the way.

Lucy couldn't help but squeal and laugh. "What for? It's not like I won!"
He set her down on her feet, keeping his arms firmly around her, and tilted his head to the side in confusion. "But... I thought the contest was to see who the most beautiful girl in Fairy Tail was?"

She squinted at him, still not entirely sure where this was going, "Yeah... And Erza won, like she does every year."

At this, he chuckled, and reached up to tuck a strand of hair that had come loose from her fancy up-do back behind her ear. "Luce," Natsu murmured, lifting her chin so he could rest his forehead against hers, "it doesn't matter what any hack of a judge has to say. I told you before: no one compares to you."

And Lucy decided that, for once, she didn't mind at all.

BONUS:

The Guild was stunned into silence as they watched Lucy pull Natsu into what was most definitely an R-rated kiss before pulling him out of the Guildhall entirely.

"Holy shit," Gray whispered, seemingly oblivious to the way Juvia was glaring up at him.

"Who knew flame-brain had it in him," agreed Gajeel, inching away from the murderous aura Levy was giving off.

Each woman still dressed up in their pageant gown had turned to their significant other (if they had one) and stared at them accusingly.

It was Cana's loud cackle that finally broke the tense silence, raising her mug to the already long gone couple: "Seems like only one guy is getting laid tonight!"

The next day, Natsu was very confused when he was mobbed by a bunch of unsatisfied guild mates.

This was mainly to make up for the lack of Natsu actually verbally expressing his feelings in other fics. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like what little filter he has wouldn't let him shut up about how much he loves Lucy, not this whole "she can tell by his actions" bs. Anyway. Hope you liked it!
