Chapter 2: Tutorial Part 2


I'm glad you guys are enjoying my Fanfic so far. Listen if anyone of you is going to suggest a character for me to use, I need more than a character suggestion. I need not one, but 2 characters so please don't send me just one character. I also need a Team name with the letters I already have with the 2 characters you send, and I need a list of their Skills that they have in canon. I ask that you PM me with your suggestions and ideas (you'll get credit for your ideas). Now that I have been thinking about it, I might not do a team but instead I'll do something else. You know how if a member of a team is injured, sick, in the middle of something important like another mission, or even if you just need another person or 2 for a mission Tommy and Illya can be that. Don't know if I'll do it this way yet or what I'll call it. I do remember some fanfics did this so yeah, I might do this. I was taking another look at Shirou and I discover I missed a Skill which was Structural Grasp so while I could just be back to the Tutorial part 1 and add it (which means renumbering the skills) I decided just have Trace count as it since they both show you an object's blueprint right? The reason why my tutorial part 1 was so long I had a hard time finding a stopping point and I was kind of on a roll. This is a Remnant that Salem conquered before my OC was sent to that's Remnant past so the Grimm will be tougher. Illya will have a 17-year-old body and will be brought in a few days after the "Black" Trailer. I have gained permission from Phoenix Champion to borrow some of his Gamer stuff for my Gamer Fanfic. When you see +/- it's for the Stats attack, dodge, hit, etc. I'm using it to make things a little easier with the Grimm. My OC has Kanshou in his right hand and Bakuya in his left hand when he is using them. I had to get rid of the % for the weapon Skills. I couldn't get a hit that felt right, and I fixed what problems I had in the second chapter. Now on to the story.

"Can you put some targets up please?" I asked as I traced my bow and waited a couple minutes for my PP to recover a bit.

(Certainly. How many do you need)

"First I need 3 arrow shooting targets but put them 20 ft away from each other. Then I need 7 human-like targets at least 10 ft away from each other." I said.

(Very well.) The System said as it produces what I asked.

"Thanks." I said as I waited until I nearly recovered all my PP which I went ahead and observe and traced the targets which LV up my Skill. I decided to sing some songs I memorized for the younger kids at the orphanage while I was waiting and doing my experiments. I then took the arrow I traced and use my Fire Skill and combine it with my arrow to create the Fire Arrow from Legend of Zelda which I then shoot it at one of the targets. Over the next few minutes, I traced 2 more arrow and combined one with my Lightning Skill to create a Lightning Arrow and the other with my Ice Skill to create an Ice Arrow and I did shoot them at the other 2 targets. Of course, I did remember to observe, traced, and reinforced the Arrows before I shot them. I then traced my sword and knife 3 times each and did what I did with my Arrows on them and use them on the other targets. I then decided to try something I thought could work which was create swords in the form of claws (which amazingly worked) and create a new Skill. During this I not only upgrade my Skill, unlocked a skill for singing 10 songs, but I also increased my INT, AGI, and WIS a bit. I then check my Status, Skills, and Unlimited Blade Works. I also decided to create some more Self-Quest for me to do. I noticed that I have a new tab for recipes on my Menu which I decided to check it out later.

13 INT (Intelligence): How smart you are. Helps you with ideas. 20 PP per stat and recover 5 pp per stat per minute. Also, your defense against magic attacks and mental attacks same as STR (use the example given for the STR Stat). "Magic Resistance" helps reduce damage by magic by 5%.

6 LUCK: How lucky are you. Increase chances of rare loot, winning games based on luck (like Poker, Lotteries, etc), and chances of critical hits. Bane: 1 point when Leveling up. -10% growth rate.

I finished looking at my Status and creating Self-Quests for now, so I decided to go ahead and tell the system I was ready to finish the Tutorial.

(Very well. Let the final part of the Tutorial begin. You will be facing 2 Beowolves and an Alpha Beowolf. I will now explain the Grimm. All Grimm has been put in a rating of A-E with A being the strongest and E being the weakest. You gain EXP, Lien, and Black Orbs depending on a Grimm's rank, LV, and Rarity. First, we'll start with Ranks E Rank rewards you 200 EXP, 100 Lien, and 25 Black Orbs. D Rank rewards you 400 EXP, 200 Lien, and 50 Black Orbs. C Rank rewards you 600 EXP, 300 Lien, 100 Black Orbs. B Rank rewards you 800 EXP, 400 Lien, 200 Black Orbs. A Rank rewards you 1,000 EXP, 500 Lien, 400 Black Orbs. Second is LV. You gain EXP by 10x LV, 5x Lien by LV, and 1x Black by LV. For example, defeating a LV5 would reward you 50 EXP, 25 Lien, and 5 Black Orbs. Third is Rarity. Common rewards you 25 EXP, 10 Lien, and 5 Black Orbs. Uncommon rewards you 50 EXP, 25 Lien, and 10 Black Orbs. Rare rewards you 100 EXP, 50 Lien, and 25 Black Orbs. Super Rare rewards you 500 EXP, 100 Lien, and 50 Black Orbs. I will also tell if they have a + or ++ they will award you extra EXP, Lien, and Black Orbs. + rewards 50 while ++ rewards 100 EXP, Lien, and Black Orbs. Also, Grimm Stat growth upon Leveling up depends on their Rank. E Rank is 2x their LV. D Rank is 3x their LV. C is 4x. B is 5x. A is 6x. Example an E Rank LV5 Grimm would have 10, LV5 D Rank Grimm would have 15. C Rank LV5 Grimm would have 20. B Rank LV5 Grimm is 25. A rank LV5 Grimm would have 30. Also, Grimm receive a stat bonus depending on what species of Grimm they are. The EXP needed for a Grimm to LV up is the same as your EXP. Meaning that a LV5 Grimm would need 5,000 EXP to get to LV6. Since you are facing Beowolfs I should tell you that they have 3 AGI and 3 STR instead of 2 AGI and 2 STR at LV1. Grimm that have a + gains +(1) and ++ gains +(2). Regular Beowolves are E Rank common while an Alpha Beowolf is E++ Rank to D Rank depending on LV. I will explain how Grimm gain EXP later.)

'Wow. The Grimm here are really powerful.' I thought surprised at the Grimm's' strength. 'Then again Ayala, Light, and Dark did tell me that this is a Remnant where Salem won so it really shouldn't be surprising.' I thought. Suddenly a barrier in the shape of a cube appear and in it are the Beowolves.

"Okay the Alpha is my biggest threat due to its Stats. If I take out the two regular Beowolves first, then I can put all my attention on the Alpha. If I use my "Ice" skill on the floor they will should slip and then I can use the "Married Blades" on the weaker Grimm and use my "Ice" Skill and create ice chains on the Alpha and then I can grab my blades and use them to kill the Alpha. and Defeating them altogether should give me 850 EXP, 480 Lien, and 200 Black Orbs." I said. I went ahead and traced the "Married Blades" and use "Reinforcement" on them and my body. I decided to observe the "Married Blades' and check my Stats really quick while my PP recovers.

Kanshou and Bakuya: Gān Jiàng and Mò Yé (, Kanshō - Bakuya) are "married" twin swords representing Yin and Yang crafted by the blacksmith Gān Jiàng (干将, Kanshō) of Wu during the Spring and Autumn Period of China. They were crafted more for the sake of crafting, as if questioning the meaning of the swordsmith, than for any real idea behind their creation. They were created without vanity and lack a sense of purpose found in other swords. They contain no fighting spirit to defeat others nor a competitive spirit to beat other weapons, and they contain neither the desire to be famous nor the faith to accomplish great deeds.

Upon receiving orders from the King of Wu to forge an imperial sword, Gān Jiàng could not think of ways to forge swords that fit such orders. While he was extremely frustrated and desperate, his wife, Mò Yé (莫邪, Bakuya), upon seeing this situation, decided to gamble her own life. The sacrificing of human lives is absolutely necessary in order to forge items reaching the realm of Gods, so Bakuya hurled herself into the furnace in front of the husband she loved and used her own life to help the Essence of Five Mountains and the Metal of Six Heroes meld. Kanshou forged the two swords in grief. He kept the Yang sword, named "Gān Jiàng", and he only handed over the Yin Sword, "Mò Yé", to the king when it came time to present them. The king was furious upon discovering the deception, and he had Gān Jiàng killed.

After I was done, and I waited a minute till I had full PP. Then I went through the barrier and I said, "Mission start." Which I felt was perfect for this moment. Then I heard a song playing.

The Grimm and I start running towards each other. I immediately use my "Ice" Skill on the floor a few feet in front of the Grimm. They slipped on the ice and fell down. I then throw Kanshou at one of the weaker Grimm which pierces and kills it. Not slowing down, I threw Bakuya at the second regular Beowolf which kills it as well. Knowing the Alpha will be on its feet soon I use my "Ice" Skill again to create chains of ice and use it on the Alpha wrapping it up. I then grab my blades from where they are when I use them, and I stab the Alpha with both Blades which kills it.
