[Authors note: I suck at describing off the cuff battles like the main one in this story so for now I'mma just skip it.]

Branson and his siblings Allie and Zander, all hopped off of Branson's Salamence. "Thanks for the ride Jet," Branson said to the dragon, "Come back here around sunset to pick us up, would you buddy." Jet nudged it's trainer's head in affirmation, and took off roaring triumphantly as it flew off into the distance. Branson looked to Allie and Zander, "So, who wants to go swimming?" Allie and Zander cheered and ran towards the ocean. Yep they were at the beach. Branson had decided that he'd relax a little and had the idea to bring his little brother and sister, who were going to get their first Pokemon next spring, to the beach. He was about to sit to relax on the beach when Allie started to pull him towards the water, "C'mon Big Brother, you gotta come swim too." Branson looked at his sister, trying to say no, but Allie was too excited for him, so he said, "Sure, but only for a little while."

Allie's smile widened, "Thankyousomuch, Let's go bro." Branson let himself be dragged into the ocean, and after a small splash fight the three siblings went for a swim race out near to the breakers. As they were reaching their objective, the three of them got caught in a riptide and they just barely managed to swim free and grab a rock ledge. as they sat on the rock ledge, Allie started saying that she didn't feel so good. Branson look over at his brother and sister, and saw that they had a tentacool tentacle mark on their legs. "Oh, Shit," said Branson, looking frantically to see if he had an antidote, but unfortunately he didn't. Okay, he thought, I need to find something to heal this. looking around he saw a nearby platform of rock with a large silhouette on it. He quickly swam over hoping it was some sort of temporary pokemon watcher camp, but was instead greeted by a sleeping black Lugia with red and purple accents. Maybe this Lugia will help, he thought, nudging the Lugia, hoping to gently wake it up. It's eyes snapped open and it immediately reared up to full height, screeching at Branson. Fuck, Branson thought, I'm gonna have to catch this thing. he brought out the pokeball of the two Pokemon that wanted to come, and tossed them shouting, "Gardevoir, Tyranitar, It's time to go." The Gardevoir and Tyranitar appeared in a flash of light ready to fight. Next Branson touched a stone on a pendant, and yelled, "Gardevoir, Tyranitar, Mega Evolve" causing the two Pokemon to be enveloped by light, which after fading left the Fairy-Psychic Pokemon and the Rock-Steel Pokemon in their stronger advanced forms, and the battle began.

The Lugia was getting weaker, and Branson decided that it was time to try catching it. The thing was that he had used most of the pokeballs he had had on him he just had two left: A Premiere Ball, and his once in a blue moon Master ball. Alright, he thought to himself, I'm gonna try the premiere ball first, and hope I get super lucky, but I'll probably have to use the only Master ball I'm allowed to have for a while. He chucked the white pokeball at the black Lugia and it hit it's mark, the Lugia turning to red energy and being zapped into the ball, the ball hit the ground and rattled, once, twice... Branson pulled out the master ball and readied it as the ball rattled a third time, and by some divine miracle (or plot armor if you prefer to call it that) the ball made an electronic pinging noise and became still. Feeling the urgency, Branson quickly shook off his disbelief and let the Lugia out. As it looked at him he looked into it's eyes and asked, "Please Lugia, my brother and sister have been stung by a Tentacool. Can you please heal them?" the now normal colored and docile Lugia nodded and looked over at Allie and Zander. Suddenly, they shot to their feet, looking completely healthy. Oh thank Arceus, Branson thought, as he leapt into the water to check on them. Later, as they were getting back to the beach with the help of Lugia, Branson noticed the time. "Okay, Lugia, thanks for your help. I can release you if you want. The Lugia tilted it's head for a moment, as if thinking before leaning down and nosing the button on the pokeball that managed to catch it against all odds, disappearing inside. "Holy Shit, I managed to catch a Lugia," Branson murmured, turning to see that Jet the Salamence was ready to pick them up, "Alright, Allie, Zander, Gardevoir, and Tyranitar, let's get home.
