Haffley continues to watch president Donovan's speech, he is visibly dissapointed. Haffley instructs his chief of staff, Sheila Brooks, to call the attorney general.

.

Willow scans the internet, there seem to be quite a few people who jump to the conclusion that Gary is a terrorist. They say he is being interrogated at CTU. Willow is a lawyer, she decides to go to CTU herself and make sure he's okay.

.

Marcus waits until the agreement arrives. When it does, it confirms that he has full immunity, and they will leave his assets alone. All of this is dependent upon his full cooperation, so he begins talking.

.

Marcus: Shortly after the bomings hit the news I was contacted by a young woman who said she needed to leave the country. She said her name was Adaeze.

Curtis: Did she mention anyone else who needed your help?

Marcus: No, it's possible Dubaku will call later.

Curtis: Why would Dubaku come all the way to America, plot a terrorist act, and not have an exit strategy?

Marcus: I make it clear, to all of my clients, that I will not help them commit terrorism, maybe he feared I'd turn him in. If he has an exit strategy it's not me.

Curtis: Tell us about Adaeze.

Marcus: Seventeen years old, from Sangala. Served a brief time in juvenile hall for drug possession, and now fears people will blame her for the bombings and wants to flee. Adaeze said she was completely innocent, I didn't press for answers. She's expecting me to call within an hour. Perhaps when you interrogate her, she can lead you to Dubaku.

.

Adaeze sits in her "safehouse." It's really just a motel room, but the owner owes her a favor. Adaeze was born in Sangala, her mother was an askari woman who was raped by a bawa man. She brought herself and her child to America for a better life. But then, at 16, Adaeze was arrested for possesion of a small amount of marijuanna. The prosecutor was willing to give her probation, but the judge was a hardliner, and being bribed by a for-profit juvenile prison. Adaeze was sent here, where she met Kristen's daughter Lily. Lily was nine years old, autistic, sent to this prison for acting out in class. Adaeze protected Lily, saved her life. Now Kristen let Lily stay here for free. This whole experience had soured Adaeze on the whole american experience. After what happenned she knew she had to flee the country, before some lynch mob turned on her.

.

Kimberly Bauer waits at the hospital for news of her husband. She also uses her smartphone to see who might be responsible. She sees one story of Behrooz Araz. The story on the internet claims he planted one of the bombs, but that CTU is willing to go easy on him because he's a minor. Kim is not so willing to go easy on Behrooz.
