King365 (Ko-Fi supporter): I'm still unsure if I want to involve E.N.D in the story considering the fact that demonic beings are still not canon in the DanMachi story arc. However, once they do come up with something, I'll be sure to add it in.

Keybladelight: That's not how a blessing works. When a God blesses someone, the symbol of their Familia appears, now how they wish it to be. As for his bloodline, I have yet to address it yet but will do so soon, especially involving a lustful Goddess.

Aadam Karim-Lodhi: I thought of involving more people knowing about his past as well, but not any time soon. Since I'm following the timeline of the actual story, it's only been a few weeks since Natsu first arrived at Orario and he's still hesitant of doing so, but worry not, that time will come.

Chapter 7: The Outing with the Advisor!

It was another bustling day in Orario, the citizens had gathered. The whimsical laughter of the townsfolk ringed in the melodic air, as the sounds and beats of instruments reverberated everywhere. The sun appeared high above in its glory; showering the town and its people with an abundance of light and joy.

Standing by the water fountain, located at the heart of the town, was a lone figure with shoulder length brown hair. It was none other than Eina Tulle herself. Instead of wearing her usual guild uniform, she was currently donned in a frilly white shirt with a black ribbon, alongside a red skirt. In addition, she was also not wearing her glasses.

'Did I get here too early?' The brunette wondered to herself as she looked around her surroundings to find the pinkette, but he was nowhere to be seen.

This gave her a bit of time to look over herself to make sure she was fully prepared for her date-

'No! This is just him repaying me back for all the lessons, that's all! This is definitely not a date! Absolutely not a date!' the girl thought to herself, shaking her head frantically. All with a red blush plastered on her face.

The onlookers who had recognised her couldn't help but wonder to themselves about the identity of the person whom managed to bring about such a love struck look from the half-elf. Of course there was a group of the male population who, after witnessing this, were seething and stayed around the area, looking for the culprit who somehow managed to get a date with their beloved "Eina-chan".

Though they definitely didn't have to wait long for his appearance.

"Yo, Eina!" The pinkette greeted with a smile on her face, snapping her out of her thoughts as she responded with a smile of her own. Though her smile quickly died down when she noticed something about the pinkette.

His clothes.

For as long as she remembered, the pinkette had been wearing the same tattered clothes every single day since he first arrived at Orario. While she had never seen such a design before and believed they even suited him, though she was always confused why he always wore those tattered clothes when going to the Dungeon, though she didn't mind it since he was bound to get them dirty in the Dungeon. However, as she was seeing him now, it suddenly brought a question to her head.

"Natsu, don't you have any other clothes to wear?" she voiced out her question to him.

He immediately shook his head, "Nope. I only own these pair of clothes. Though I always make sure to wash them at a place I'm staying since the smell is a problem." The Dragon Slayer revealed and his mind wandered back to the times when he would always wash his clothes in the morning using some water from a nearby well.

He was fortunate that Lisanna had taught him the proper way of washing his clothes back when they were younger, otherwise he never would have gotten the horrendous scent of blood and sweat off of his clothes.

"So you only have that one pair of clothes with you…?" she asked slowly.

"That's right…why do you ask?" The Dragon Slayer could tell that there was a slight change in his advisor's personality.

"Alright then, we're going to get you some new clothes!" She said with a determined look on her face, but it was safe to say that she was the only one excited about that idea.

"Clothes shopping? That sounds really boring though." Natsu complained before stiffening up when his advisor shot him a glare.

"We're going to get you some new clothes, and that's final!" The half-elf said with an edge on her tone, one which caused the pinkette to frantically nod his head in agreement.

"Good, now follow me. I know some shops we can head to." She smiled as she began walking off, humming to herself. Natsu made sure to keep up with her as to not anger her any further.

'Why must the women in my life so scary?' The pinkette couldn't help but shudder when the mental images of Erza and a younger Mirajane, both of which with an evil look on their faces and devil horns on their heads, appeared.

"Natsu? Are you coming?" Eina called out when she realised the pinkette hadn't moved an inch.

"Oh sorry about that, I'm coming." He sighed as he walked towards his advisor with his hands in his pocket. Seeing as he won't be able to get out of the situation, he might as well make the most out of it.

The two walked over to the northern part of Orario, as his advisor pointed out was known to be the shopping district. He could only sigh as he allowed himself to be dragged from shop to shop by the half-elf.

Eventually Eina found a shop she was satisfied with and was busy looking through the clothes in the shop.

"Can't I just pick anything, from the store? It's not like it matters what I wear to the Dungeon, right?" The Dragon Slayer tried to reason but half-elf instantly gave him a look.

"Absolutely not." She said sharply.

"Fine, fine." The pinkette sighed as he raised his hands up in surrender, knowing full well that he won't be able to change his advisor's mind any longer.

He watched as the brunette browsed through the clothes with a rather watchful eye before she finally grabbed a pair that were hanging on the shelves and handed it to him.

"Here, try this on." Eina said as she handed over some clothes to the pinkette who only nodded his head and began walking over to the changing room.

'Might as well get this over with already.' He thought as he took off his clothes and began putting on the ones he had gotten from his advisor.

After a while, the Dragon Slayer stared at his reflection in the mirror and couldn't help but admire the clothes his advisor had picked out for him, 'You know this actually doesn't look all that bad.'

The Dragon Slayer was now wearing a dark blue-grey trousers and to compliment that was a black, short-sleeved tee-shirt. The trousers were neither too tight nor too loose and he was able to move easily in them and the same could be said for the shirt as well, as he was able to move his hands about in a fight without any worry.

"Wow, you look really good!" she complimented as he exited the changing rooms, walking up to her.

"Yeah these are really comfortable and it's easy to fight in them too! Where'd you find this shop?" He asked.

"Well, this shop is actually one of the few which produces clothes for adventurers so I'm glad that you like them."

"I guess I'll get these then." He said and was about to walk over to the counter and pay for the clothes when the girl stopped him.

"Wait, what about that scarf? Are you sure you don't want to replace it?" She asked but the Dragon Slayer quickly shook his head.

"No! This scarf…is the only thing I have left of my father…" The pinkette revealed, holding onto the garb with a forlorn look on his face and the girl's eyes widened in shock.

"Oh, I apologise! I didn't mean to open up old scars!" Eina responded frantically, berating herself in her head for saying something as insensitive as she did.

"Oh don't worry, he's not dead, but he did leave me alone one day, without telling me why or where he was going too." The pinkette explained as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I've always wondered if I had done anything wrong to upset or hurt him, or if that I was too weak and embarrassed him."

"That's why it's my goal to find my father and to demand these answers out of him even if I have to beat him up for it." The Dragon Slayer said with determination and the half-elf was enamoured by the boy's resolution as a slow smile formed on her face.

"Well, I hope that you'll find your father again."

"Thanks." He smiled before he suddenly clapped his hand.

"Anyways, but we haven't got any clothes for you yet." Natsu pointed out.

"Y-you don't need to get me any clothes!" She waved her hands, but the Dragon Slayer wasn't having any of it.

"Well it's not fair if I'm the only one who got clothes today, that's why we're getting some for you too. Come on, let's go!" He grinned as he began pulling the girl over to the female section of the store.

"N-Natsu, you don't have pull me!"

Though, because of his lack of knowledge when it came to fashion one of the store clerks actually stepped in and helped choose some clothes for the half-elf. Currently the Dragon Slayer was leaning by a wall, waiting for Eina to come out.

'This is going much better than it ever has been with Lucy or Erza.' He sighed to himself.

The last time he had gone out shopping just to pass the time was with Lucy and Erza back in Earthland. They had just finished a mission exterminating some monsters nearby and the two decided to go shopping in the city, forcing both he and Gray to join them. It was safe to say that the two went back home with sore bodies considering they were forced to carry everything they bought and to say the bought a lot was an understatement.

It almost seemed like they bought the entire shop out.

Just recalling that event caused a shiver to run down his spine. Though he was fortunate that his current trip with Eina was anywhere close to that moment.

The sound of the curtains being pulled brought the pinkette back to reality as he turned back to his face his advisor.

"H-how do I look?" Eina asked shyly, a tint of red dusted across her cheeks as she avoided the pinkette's gaze on her.

The half-elf was currently wearing a black dress which reached her knees and over it was a pink shoulder-less blouse with white frills at the end if it with a red ribbon in the centre of it.

After a while, the pinkette nodded his head and gave his advisor a smile, "You look really good." Natsu said honestly and a massive smile slowly grew on the brunette's face when she heard his words.

"T-thank you."

After that, Natsu paid for both sets of clothes, despite Eina repeatedly saying she'd pay for it, the two exited the shop.

"So, where are we going next?" Natsu asked curiously as the half-elf pointed at the tower.

"We're going there."

"Wait, we're going to the Dungeon?" The rosette tilted his head in confusion. He had thought that today would be a break from his excursion down there.

"No! Geez, do you only think about going to the Dungeon?" The Dragon Slayer rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. He only knew of a select few places in Orario since arriving

"Instead of going down to the Dungeon, we're going up."

"Up?" Natsu tilted his head in confusion as the brunette nodded her head.

"That's right, it's where the Hephaestus Familia shop is located at." The half-elf then grabbed the pinkette's arm before she began pulling him.

"Come on, let's go!"

Location: Babel Tower (4th Floor)

"So what do they sell in the shop?" Natsu asked curiously as she smiled.

"You'll just have to wait and see."

After taking the elevator up through the tower, Natsu and Eina were greeted by an ostentatious looking display of weaponry being displayed.

Natsu stared at the weapons in awe as he walked up to them. While he had zero knowledge when it came to weapons, he still could admire them. The pinkette also made a note about how Erza would have a field day if she ever arrived in such a shop.

"Ah that's right, since you're new to Orario you must not know, but the few floors here belong to the Hephaestus Familia where they display their weapons and armours up for sale." Eina explained.

"We're heading for the upper floors, but since we're already here, I think we might as well stop by and look around, shall we?" Eina asked with a smile, getting an ecstatic nod in response.

"Woah, so all these armours are on sale for the public?" Natsu said in awe, looking at all the high class armour which were being presented.

"That's right, and the ones you see here are made with the highest quality of materials that can be found in the Dungeon."

"Wow, that's incredible." Natsu said as he walked towards an armour that was being displayed before looking down to view the price.

"T-twenty million valis?!" the pinkette exclaimed in shock, rubbing his eyes to make sure they were not fooling him.

'If I had that much money I wouldn't need to worry about food for an entire year!'

"It's incredible that some people could afford such equipment…"

"Wait did you bring me here just to buy some equipment?"

"That's right, I figured since we were going to get you some clothes, we might as well get some armour for you too." She explained.

"That's great and all…but I don't really wear armour though." Natsu said as he rubbed the back of his head. If anything, he had only been to shops like these to assist Erza when SHE was buying them, and nothing more.

"Hmm, well considering that you were planning on heading on to the Lower Levels, don't you think it's time you start wearing them?"

"I guess so…" Since he was brand new in the world, there was bound to be things that would be different. Perhaps he might as well learn to wear armour.

"Great! Anyways, I think we've seen enough around here. Come on, let's head upstairs!"

"And here we are!" Eina said, as the doors to the elevator opened.

After emerging at the 8th floor, Natsu wasn't at all surprised to see plenty of adventurers surrounding the armours and weapons that were displayed. However, at first glance, it was clear to see that the equipment he had seen at the lower floors and the ones he was looking at now were completely different.

"Are all of these equipment from the Hephaestus Familia as well?" the pinkette questioned, getting a nod from the brunette.

"That's right. After all, not every adventurer would be able to afford a high-end brand like that." She said as she walked over to a small sword.

"Look, the price isn't that expensive isn't it?"

"Yeah, it really isn't…"

"That's because all the stuff here are made from new blacksmiths. However, even if it is cheap, it's to their advantage to have their products be sold so that they'd be able to get evaluated and possibly earn a loyal customer in the future. Also, some of them are actually really good, let's go and check some out."

With that, the two began exploring the shop, there were plenty of decent quality equipment around the shop, but none that the pinkette saw fit to use.

"I'll go and check some of the armour in the back."

"Please go ahead, we're here to find some armour for you after all." Eina smiled as she watched the pinkette disappear behind the row of shelves.

If anything this was probably the first time since knowing him, that she's seen him take a break.

While it's normal for most starting adventurers to constantly go to the Dungeon in order to earn some valis, but it can also be very damaging if they don't pace themselves, which was another reason she decided to invite the pinkette for the outing.

She had seen too many deaths as a guild advisor, and she didn't ever want to see that happening to someone close to her.

Meanwhile, the pinkette was currently browsing through the armours, but like the others, none of them really stood out to him.

Just as he was about to give up though,

'Hmm?' Natsu then spotted a crate of armour on the side. Bending down, the pinkette picked up the breastplate, admiring its shine.

'Is there a signature from the smith somewhere?' rotating the chest piece around, Natsu noticed words carved inside.

'Welf Crozzo.'

He was rather impressed with it, considering he had spent plenty of time with Erza in these sort of shops, he was able to tell that it was well-made.

"Natsu, ah there you are!" Eina then noticed the breastplate that he was holding."I didn't know you were interested in light armour."

"Well, I usually utilise my speed when battling so I wouldn't want any armour that slows me down." Natsu responded, before also pulling out some arm guards from the box.

Deciding to try it on, he was surprised that it was a perfect fit for him.

After a short while of consideration, the pinkette decided to purchase the arm guards as well as the breastplate, leaving the other pieces aside.

In the end, it costed around 4800 valis, which he considered to be reasonable and he didn't need to worry about money since he had plenty after the haul in the Dungeon yesterday.

"Are you happy with what you got, Natsu?"

"Sure am, I can't wait to try them out tomorrow!" he responded as the two made their way out of the store.

An orange hue now filled the skies of Orario after the two exited the tower.

"Thanks for today Eina, I had a blast!" The Dragon Slayer said with a large grin sported on his face.

"I should thank you as well Natsu. I had a fun day as well." She responded with a smile of her own.

Suddenly a loud growl was emitted from the Dragon Slayer's stomach, signalling his hunger.

"Well, I guess I should head out then." Natsu said with a sheepish grin causing the brunette to chuckle in amusement.

"Oh but before you leave, there's something I want to give you Natsu."

"What is it?!" The pinkette asked excitedly as his eyes lit up brightly like stars Eina smiled at such a sight and handed him something wrapped in cloth.

The rosette excitedly unwrapped the cloth and stared at the object inside in confusion. It was a pair of red and black gloves.

"What is this? Gloves?" Natsu asked in confusion as he picked it up and he was surprised with how sturdy it felt in his hands.

"They're gauntlets to be exact." The half-elf corrected.

"From your stories in the Dungeon, I know that you always use your fists in battle and I thought that these might help you when you're down there." She explained and this proved to be a shock for the pinkette.

'I never realised how much she paid attention to them.' The Dragon Slayer always assumed that his advisor only asked him for the details because of her job. Yet, here she was purchasing something for him to help him out with his excursions in the Dungeon when she didn't need to. The pinkette also recalled all the times the brunette would tell him to be careful and how she would make sure that he was alright after each trip down.

A warm feeling welled up in his chest at the kindness his advisor was giving him. In fact, it reminded him to how Mirajane was back in Earthland after she had mellowed down. Not only would she always concern herself whenever anyone at the guild got injured after a mission, she would also make sure to wish them off and welcome them back home, all with a warm smile on her face.

"Thanks for this Eina, but you didn't have to get me this." Natsu said as he faced the brunette.

"You're right, I didn't need to. But I wanted to." She said with a soft smile on her face as she stared at the weapon in her advisee's hands.

"In the past I used to be an advisor to plenty of adventurers just like you, and there would be times when they would enter the Dungeon…and never come back." She said with a solemn look on her face as a female with blue locks appeared in her mind before she shook her head.

"But I don't want the same thing to happen to you. That's why, won't you please accept this gift? For both my sake and yours?" she asked with a smile.

Natsu Dragneel was many things and if anyone was asked about the pinkette, perceptive might not be one of those words. However, to say he wasn't aware of the people he cared about was incorrect as well. The look on his advisor already told him that the deaths of those before him still hung heavy in her mind.

After all, he was familiar with losing somebody close to him.

The pinkette smiled and nodded his head, "I will and thanks everything you've done for me. I hope that you'll still help me from here on out." He said genuinely with a bow and while the advisor was shocked by this, she smiled back.

"Of course I will, no matter what happens I'll make sure to help you out every step out of the way."

The two stared at each other for a moment until the half-elf realised what she was doing and coughed into her hands, her face completely red in embarrassment.

"Anyways, since it's already late, you should head on back. I'm sure your dying to eat right about now." To prove her point, the pinkette's stomach growled once again.

"I'll see you tomorrow then, Eina!" The pinkette waved goodbye at his advisor with a massive smile on his face as he ran off while the half-elf watched his retreating figure with a tender smile on her face.

Currently, Natsu was walking amongst the crowd through the streets, the smell of Jagamarukun's and other foods wafting through the air, all of which made his mouth water and stomach to growl even louder. Though, he decided to put his hunger aside for the time being as he immediately turned straight into an alleyway before leaning across the wall with a sigh before turning his attention over to the clothes he had worn in Edolas, which was now kept in a plastic bag.

'Now…what do I do with these?'

The pinkette had half a mind to throw it away since it was nothing more than baggage, especially since he had nowhere to keep them. Though another part of him wanted to keep it, seeing as they were all he had left, sans his scarf and magic, of the time he spent with his friends back in Earthland.

'I'll definitely find a way back home…no matter what!' the pinkette thought in determination as he held onto the plastic bag tightly before ultimately tossing it aside as he proceeded to walk out of the alleyway with a clearer resolution in his heart.
