She barely kept herself from running from the place she had parked her car across the street to Clark's building. She had finally come to her senses. She had finally admitted to herself that she knew all along; that she wanted him. Clark. Not Dan. Not Superman. But him. The Farmboy. The hack of Nowheresville. Her partner. Her best friend. The man had awakened feelings within her she had never before experienced; sensations both pleasant and frightening. A huge smile crept across Lois' face as she turned the corner and strode towards Clark's apartment building. She couldn't wait to see the look on Clark's face when she would tell him she had chosen him that she wanted to be with him. Lois turned the corner and almost ran toward Clark's apartment when she stopped dead in her tracks and, surprisingly, found that his door was open. Fearing that something may have happened to Clark, Lois walked toward the entrance of the apartment as barely kept herself from running through it. However, she came to halt in the doorway, her heart hammering as it seemed to rise and catch in her throat when she pushed the door wide open. The apartment was completely empty and Clark was nowhere to be found. He had walked out of her life without saying to her goodbye; he had had walked out of her life without ever knowing how she felt about him.

Lois bolted up in bed. The nightmare, that had started the week she and Clark had been apart, had plagued her for one more night. Her heart was beating like a drum, and she could feel the sweat running down her hot brow. She breathed in and out very shakily as she tried to regain her composure. Putting a shaking hand on her heart, Lois felt it beating loudly. She looked shakily around the room, almost as if to check whether she was where she hoped she still was, and let out a sigh of relief when she realized she was indeed at her and Clark's brownstone. Lois looked over at Clark, who was sleeping peacefully, completely oblivious to her restlessness, her eyes wandering over his face. It had been nearly four months since that they had confessed their love to each other and Clark told her about his alter-ego. Yet her thoughts about their brief separation few weeks ago and the knowledge that they were chunks of Kryptonite out there terrified her. She couldn't help but worry every time Clark was making a rescue or preventing a crime that someone might hurt him with green or red Kryptonite. She couldn't help but worry that would they would break up because of something or someone could come between them; his secrecy about his alter-ego for two years and Dan's return were recent examples.

Lois looked at the clock on the bedside table with a sigh, which showed four-thirty in the morning. She rolled out of bed, kissed Clark gently on the forehead, and headed to the bathroom. She turned the water on, quickly shed her clothes, and stepped under the warm water. For a moment, she just stood there leaning her head against the cold tiles, and let the warm water roll off of her skin, relaxing her and melting her tension away, when she felt two familiar arms wrapped around her from behind; those big strong arms holding her delicate frame, shielding her from the universe and all its dangers.

"Taking a shower without me?" she heard Clark whispering in her ear in mock offence as he bit her earlobe.

Lois turned around and came face to face with Clark, staring into each other's eyes. "You were sleeping so peacefully." she replied with a smile. "I didn't want to ruin it."

"It just…" Clark trailed off. "Why are you up taking the shower so early?" he asked, giving her an inquisitive look as brought up both hands to her face. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yea." Lois replied trying not to show any sign that could not give away her lie.

"Are you sure? Because I could have sworn I heard you tossing and turning," Clark casually observed.

"Okay I was a little tensed and I' am taking a shower to relax a bit." Lois admitted. "You know because of the daily routine."

Clark eyed Lois for a moment. "Well let's see what I can do to help you relax a little bit more." he whispered, then dived down, holding her by weaving his fingers into her wet hair. His mouth captured hers, and his tongue requested entrance at her lips.

Lois' body backed into the cold tiles on the wall asClark came closer to her, their bodies now in full contact, chest to chest, thigh to thigh. She threw her arms around Clark, and returned his hungry kiss roaming his back with her hands.

Clark clasped Lois as closer as he could and changed the deep kiss into tiny, erotic nibbles.

Lois took in as much breath as she could between each one. She wrapped her legs around his waist and moaned as she felt his erection rub against her inner thigh. She felt of his kisses on her head, her cheek, her jaw, and her neck and despite the warmth of the bath, Lois could practically feel the chills that came along with them. And the way his hands gently massaged her breasts. Being so close to Clark, so intimate the particular moment, she needed to calm herself down. She needed to prove to herself that everything was going to be just fine between her and Clark. Lois pulled away just long enough to whisper in his ear. "I need you Clark."

That was all he needed to hear. Clark gripped his beloved's hips firmly and guided her on to his length. He let out a growl and thrust into Lois while he held her in place.

Lois gasped and moaned and hid her face in Clark's neck, giving him light kisses. She had made love with Clark countless times but still had not gotten used to how she felt when they were connected. Lois let out little moans and breaths which came out quicker and shorter as Clark moved in and out of her.

They both felt the heat now, but took things slowly, loving this moment. Clark wanted to savour each push, withdrawing almost completely and touching her G-spot before sliding himself back in. Despite his invulnerability he could feel Lois dragging her fingernails down his back and up his ribcage, making his skin feel like it was on fire. He could feel her legs wrapping tighter around his waist, squeezing him. For the strange reason every time he was close to Lois he could adjust his senses and enjoy her presence and touches.

Lois could feel Clark getting close. His breathing became ragged, his fingers pinched her flesh as he began to push himself into her more quickly. He grabbed a handful of her hair, as he slammed himself into her. "I'm sorry," Clark panted. "I should be going slow, but you're turning me on so much!"

"Don't!" Lois warned as she moved her hands into Clark's hands. "Keep going. You feel so good." she felt her body close to reaching its peak.

Both Lois and Clark finally let go and allowed the waves of orgasms claim them. The waves of pleasure rolled through them, making their bodies limp.

They stayed like that for a while until the pounding of their hearts slowed. They closed their eyes, as they caught their breath. Lois snuggled into Clark's neck while stroked her hair and kissed her head. They were both very tired.

Clark pulled himself out of Lois and looked at her. Her cheeks were red, and she tucked her face into his chest. "You okay?" he asked as he kissed the top of her head.

Lois just nodded. Without bothering to dry them off, Clark lifted Lois in his arms, and carried her into the bedroom. He set her down on their bed and stared down into her eyes with passion as he lay next to her, before he pulled her close to him. After Lois fell asleep, he stayed awake a little longer, letting his eyes drink her in. Aside his parents, she was the most precious to him. She was light in the darkness. Words simply did not describe what he felt for her. Kissing Lois' head one last time, Clark drifted off to sleep.

"You are obsessing." Lois said the moment she entered the conference room.

Clark who sat lost in thought at the conference table jumped at the unexpected voice of his girlfriend.

"And when you are obsessed over something, you let your guard down." Lois told further as she shut the door behind her. "Your super-hearing and any other super-power that help you to perceive your surroundings cease to exist." she went on and took a seat at the conference table across Clark. "Are you upset with Luthor and what he did last night?" she asked concerned. It had been only ten minutes after they had arrived at the newsroom that day when Perry broke the news of the assault on prison guards by Luthor the previous night. Lois wasn't surprised at all, considering what she had found out after her almost-marriage almost-wedding to Lex and what Martha had told her about him recently.

"According to the medical report the guard was beaten nearly to death." Clark mentioned and picked up his coffee cup to take a sip. "The poor man is in a coma. Henderson told me it doesn't look good. There is little brain activity and if the guy doesn't pull through, Luthor is looking at a murder charge."

"One more murder charge." Lois corrected and picked up Clark's coffee mug to take a sip of his coffee. She wasn't in mood to make and drink her own coffee that day. Breakfast still hadn't sat well on her stomach but at least she hadn't thrown up like the previous days which meant she was better and her visit to a doctor's office was unnecessary. However, she didn't want to suffer further from an upset stomach and preferred to drink few sips of coffee from Clark's mug than making one and drinking it on her own.

"Yea." Clark said simply. "So how's Patrick?" he asked as casually as he could. One of the reasons he retired to the conference room was Lois' personal call with Patrick Sullivan. Although their brief romantic involvement belonged to the past, he couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy in his gut that they still kept contact with each other. On one hand, now he understood Lois' discomfort about Lana the night of his High School Reunion. On the other hand he only had a teenage crush on Lana while Patrick and Lois…Clark mentally shook his head, trying to push that inner thought.

"He's fine." Lois shrugged with a chuckle and took another sip of coffee from Clark's cup. He was so jealous; Hisexpression had betrayed his jealousy despite his effort to hide it. He had the same expression on his face when she dated Lex and when Dan made a pass on her. Lois couldn't help but feel somehow satisfied that she had that effect on him. "Somebody else isn't jealous, are they?" she asked with a grin.

"Not in the least!" Clark protested intensely.

Lois set the coffee mug on the table and folded her arms. "You're so jealous!" she snarled excitedly pointing her index finger at him.

"No, I'm not!" Clark persevered, certain he was right.

"Yes. You are!" Lois laughed. "Oh Clark." she leaned against her chair as her laughter died down but her giggles hadn't. "He's in relationship." she bit her lip as she debated how to finish the sentence. "With a man." she told with amusement, trying to subdue her laugh. She had been more surprised than she had been willing to admit when Patrick told her two years ago that he was sexually attracted to people of the same sex and had relationship with them. His revelation had caught her completely off guard – she didn't know what to say but she was enough open-minded to understand him and supported him as his friend. "And you are jealous of him."

"Lo-is." Clark warned.

"Jealousy makes you greener than a green Kryptonite." Lois commented through her teeth with grin but loud enough for Clark to hear.

"Lo-is." Clark warned for one more time.

"If you think about it, it makes sense why he was not so responsive when we-"

"Okay, stop it!" Clark grimaced in annoyance.

"Oh come on, Clark." Lois challenged. "You are still in contact with Lana."

"Me and Lana never…while you and Patrick..." Clark tried to make his case. "And that moment you are describing…" he trailed off as she shook his head. "The past between you two makes me feel uncomfortable but I'm not jealous."

"That's irrelevant." Lois argued, rolling her eyes.

"No, it's a fact." Clark countered.

"And so your relationship with Lana." Lois shot back.

"I'm not jealous!" Clark repeated.

"Okay." Lois replied simply with a smile.

"I'm glad you finally understood."

"I mean, if I were the type, I might think you'd been avoiding the whole thing, because you are jealous." Lois continued to push Clark's buttons.

"Of course not!" Clark complained loudly. '"Avoid it?' No, I'm not trying to avoid it, because I'm not jealous!" he went on in the same tone. "And stop talking about it! You are breaking Rule #2."

"I am so glad you're not avoiding this whole thing, as you are not jealous. I'm very very happy about that." Lois said, trying to hide her smirk that dared to show. "Anyway, what are you working on?" she asked as she stood from the conference table.

"Oh that." Clark told simply as he gestured into the folder. "Eric's Press disappearance." he continued as he opened the folder and began to thumb through the papers.

"The computer hacker?" Lois raised an eyebrow as she rounded the conference table and put her arms around Clark's neck as she stood behind him.

"I still don't have evidence to build a story though." Clark said disappointed.

"I'm sure you will find something." Lois assured as she nuzzled his ear. "You always do." she added and slid down onto his lap.

Clark titled his head and kissed Lois on the lips.

"Clark." Lois said huskily between kisses. "As much as I wanted to do this for a couple hours, I'm having lunch with Molly in 30 minutes." she informed.

"I can fly you there if you want." Clark offered. "If you are willing to stay here a little longer."

"No you won't." Lois stood shaking her head. "You are going to stay here." she tapped the tip of Clark's nose with her index finger. "And work." she tapped the folder afterwards.

"Ok-ay." Clark responded with a smile.

"Ok-ay." Lois told back and gave a quick kiss on Clark's lips. "Love ya."

"Love ya." Clark said back and titled his head as he watched Lois walk outside the conference room, before he turned his attention back to the folder after Lois closed the door behind her.

"Let's toast to the new computer engineer of Star Labs." Lois raised her glass of wine with a smile.

"Thank you so much, Lois." Molly said grateful and clinked her glass against Lois', taking a sip of her drink afterwards.

"Don't thank me at all." Lois replied. "You know, you're going to come in pretty handy to my stories."

"No problem at all." Molly responded with a smirk and clinked her glass against Lois' once more before she drank again.

Delighted, Lois dug her fork into the Linguine Pesto in front of her when she felt a sudden wave of nausea surge up from the bottom of her stomach. It was her favorite dish when she was visiting the particular restaurant. However, the idea of eating it that moment disgusted her so much making her want to vomit. Lois immediately set her fork down and pushed the plate away as she swallowed hard.

"Lois, are you alright?" Molly asked concerned. "You look pale."

In order to suppress the feel of nausea, Lois took a sip of her wine before she spoke. "I'm fine." she lied. "Just tired. I didn't sleep well last night." she went on, and took a drink from her glass when the smell of the food hit her and a wave of nausea washed over her once more, overwhelming her. She knew that if she didn't get to the Ladies' Room soon, it wasn't going to be pretty. "Molly, give me, a minute." she said as she dabbed her mouth with her napkin and stood from her seat but quickly re-gripped it as a dizzy spell came over her.

"Lois!" Molly shouted and jumped from her chair nearly knocking her glass of wine. "Are you alright? Are you sick?" asked with concern as she knelt in front of Lois.

"Give me a sec. I'm a little lightheaded." Lois said rubbing her forehead. She felt embarrassed as she looked around the restaurant and everyone's eyes were on their table. "I will be alright." she assured. "I just need to go to the Ladies' Room." she stood from her chair, putting her napkin on the table.

"Lois maybe I should-"

"I want to go alone." Lois brushed Molly off and rushed into the Ladies' Room barely making to the stall before her stomach gave an almighty lurch. She clutched her rolling stomach as she vomited, not caring about the stray of her brown hair that swayed before her eyes. It seemed like the vomiting would never stop. She just prayed that no one could hear her.

Lois clutched her stomach after it settled down and sat next to the toilet resting her head on the toilet seat. Her trembling hand pressed down against the flush beforegrabbed a strip of toilet paper wiping her mouth. It took for few moments before she supported herself on the toilet seat and forced her legs straight so she would stand up. Lois staggered to the sink, cupping water with her hands to wash her mouth out with. She lifted her eyes to the mirror ahead of her and stared at her reflection. Either stomach bug still ailed her after so many days or she was too stressed. Every time she was under severe stress and anxiety, she felt nausea causing her vomiting all the time. That day could be one of these occasions considering the news about Lex. As much as she didn't want to admit it to anyone and most of all to herself, he still haunted her life. Lois took a deep breath to compose herself and then she walked back to the table overwhelmed by a plethora of emotions that were flooding through her system that moment.

"Are you sure you gonna be okay?" Molly asked uncertain. It had been many minutes since Lois felt sick. Molly couldn't help but worry, despite her friend's reassurances that she was okay. Lois looked beyond exhausted; she had faint darkcircles under her eyes while her skin was unnaturally pale.

Lois took a bite of her meal and looked at her friend. "I'm fine." she answered as she put down her fork. "I really am."

Molly gave Lois a strange look. "Are you really sure?"

"Of course!" Lois insisted as she dabbed her mouth with her napkin. "Look I had stomach bug days ago and I didn't sleep well last night." she explained. "I'm fine really." she repeated as she picked up her fork again and poked at her pasta. Although earlier the smell and the thought of the food made her sick, that moment, for a strange reason, without knowing why, she wanted to devour it.

Molly eyed her friend for a moment. "Anyway." she grabbed one fried dipped with ketchup and stuffed it in her mouth. "You are not going to believe who I bumped into at the subway yesterday."

"Who?" Lois asked curious as she chewed a bite-size of bread.

"Linda King." Molly replied.

Lois placed down the half eaten slice on her plate, rolling her eyes. "Please. Don't make go to the Ladies' Room to puke again." she told further annoyed.

Molly couldn't help but laugh at Lois' statement. "Wasn't she in L.A. for that movie, considering Carpenter's fall?" she asked as she took a sip of her drink.

"Last I heard the movie deal fell through so…"

"So she came back." Molly concludedin understanding. "Anyway, back to my meeting with Linda. She told me that she had found out about Ryan and how she supposedly felt sorry about it." she rolled her eyes, remembering Linda's statement. "She didn't mention you at all."

"I wonder why." Lois said casually and ran her index finger around the rim of her glass. as she stared into the depths of the dark brick brown color liquid that pooled at the bottom.

"Oh come on, Lois!" Molly told incredulously. "What could she possibly say about you?" she wondered. "You are beautiful, successful and you have a wonderful, hot guy to love you." she went on. "You know how Linda is." she leaned against her chair. "She's trying to detect a defect or a weakness on you and then…" she held her open palms in front of her, facing them toward Lois. "She's taking advantage of it." she continued. "You are out of her league, now."

"Well. I'm not a Saint, either." Lois mumbled as dug her fork aimlessly around through the pasta, her eyes cast down into her plate in shame. She had completely let her down. During Ryan's supposedly death, when Molly needed her the most, she wasn't there, because her selfishness.

"Oh, come on." Molly rolled her eyes. "Does it still bother you that I called you self-adsorbed and judgmental?"

"Well, Dr. Friskin agrees with you." Lois admitted with a shrug.

"Yea, but I'm sure she knows this is you defense mechanism." Molly replied. "It's the wrong way." she pointed out. "But it's your way." she justified. "Now." Molly began as she leaned forward, placing her elbows on the table. "Tell me about you and Clark." she prompted, resting her chin on her fists.

Brothers Charged With Espionage, Attempt Of Murder

Lois stared intensely at the front page of the Daily Planet's morning edition with a photo of Superman escorting Ethan and Eric Press out the banker. As it turned down Eric was kidnapped by his older brother, Ethan. The older Press took advantage of his brother's computer skills in order to find a way to kill Superman who held him responsible for Luthor's imprisonment, his childhood hero. After he made his younger brother to hack into the Pentagon and steal the designs of the weapon that it could kill Superman, he forced him to hack then into Star Labs' files and get Superman's confidential medical files in order to find out his weaknesses. Thankfully, Molly who was already working as computer engineer there for a week, discovered the breach and, along with the authorities and Superman's help, arrested the brothers before anyone got hurt.

"I knew I'd found you here."

Lois put the paper down on the coffee table the moment she heard the husky voice behind her. "Clark!" she exclaimed, jumping off the couch and turned to look at him. "Where were you?" she asked in concern.

"I bridge collapsed and-"

"Clark, what the Hell!?" Lois shouted obviously upset at Clark's statement. "Dr. Klein told you not to use your super powers for couple of days until you're sure you're back at a hundred percent."

"I'm fine." Clark just shrugged it casually. "No big deal."

"Clark, the last couple of days you got blown up, you were set on fire, and you were shot with weapon that drained your energy, separated and almost destroyed your molecules. It is big deal." Lois shot back overwhelmed.

"Okay. You are angry."

"Don't you think you should have heard me and Dr. Klein?" Lois went on in rage, and plumped down desperate on the couch without another word, burying her face in her hands.

"I'm so sorry." Clark murmured with a sigh as he sat down next to Lois. "I really am."

Lois lifted her head and looked him right in the eye. "Clark, I know how hard is." she said with honesty. "I really do. I know that the World needs you, but like you told me few days ago, I need you too." she reasoned. "And so are your parents and friends."

"All I want is for you to take it easy for a few days at least, and let yourself recover." Lois requested. "Is that too much to ask for?" she asked after a brief pause.

'I don't care if you are three hours or two weeks away from me because of your Superman duties as long as I know that Clark will eventually come back to me.'

"No." Clark answered, then kissed Lois' temple.

"So, should I be worried that you will use superpowers the moment I walk out the front door?" Lois questioned with a smile.

Clark groaned. After his encounter with the Presses and his visit to Star labs, Clark went straight to the Planet, despite Lois' protests and Dr. Klein's instructions to rest. However, when Perry noticed how pale and tired he looked, he practically forced him to go home taking some time off.

"Clark." Lois looked at Clark in disapproval.

"I know, I know," Clark held his hands up in clear surrender. "But I was wondering if you can play hooky today." he suggested with a chuckle against her lips as he slid his tongue into her mouth and buried his fingers into her warm, silky, beautiful hair. "Tell Perry that I'm very sick and you need to take care of me." he murmured as he began to move his kisses away from her lips, teasing the corner of her mouth.

Lois' eyes shot open in surprise before they shut again as Clark began kissing down her jawline down to her neck. "I really need to go." she managed to say barely holding back a hum of approval.

"Don't go." Clark demanded with a growl.

Unable to respond, Lois let out a gasp and a broken whimper as Clark started biting and sucking on a spot low on her neck near her collarbone. They tickled her skin, giving her a sweet fluttering feeling in her chest and stomach. Then Clark's kisses got deeper. She could feel the wetness from what she could only conclude was his tongue peeking out of his mouth and licking the spot. This made Lois gasp. But that was nothing compared to the sound she made when she felt Clark's lips lock onto her skin and started to suck. "Clark," she moaned.

Clark made a noise of triumph, sitting up just enough to grin at Lois and give her a wink, before going back to working that one spot over.

The fluttering quickly turned to sparks in Lois' abdomen. As Clark sucked, she felt that small part of her skin being pulled at. Lois knew very well that would make one hell of a hickey but she didn't care; this fire burned with passion, smoke rising up into her brain, clouding her thoughts with lustful light-headedness. "Clark, I'm sorry, but I really have to go." she said apologetically as she stood from the couch. "I have deadline to meet and a Staff Meeting."

"Agh!" Clark growled in frustration. "You really know how to ruin a moment." he commented annoyed.

"I had good teacher on that." Lois fired back with a smile. "But I promise I will make up for it. Okay?" she promised and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips.

"Okay." Clark replied and kissed Lois back. He tilted his head back to look at the ceiling the moment Lois walked out the door, briefcase in hand. He winced looking down at his growing erection. He needed relief. He was ready to super-speed up to the bedroom and into the bathroom when he remembered his promise to Lois. With a sigh he climbed the stairs to the bedroom and into the bathroom and turned the shower head on. He quickly stripped off his clothes and hopped into the shower, curling his hand around the base of his erection very gently. Lois wasn't there and even the ice cold water wasn't having an effect on him. Clark needed to take matters into his own hands. Literally.

Lois sat in front of her computer, and ran her fingers back and forth over the keys at her overcrowded desk at the Daily Planet, finishing her latest article. After she polished it up and sent it to Perry, she opened her manila folder and her notepad in front of her and started updating some of the details for her next story. It had to do with Mindy Church and her unexpected release from the authorities the next day. Although she had told Perry that she would rather be buried alive than interviewing her, the editor left no room for argument. Sighing, Lois set the pencil down. She was exhausted. She rubbed her forehead as she stared blankly at the computer screen in front of her before she shut her eyes, burying her face in her hands. It had been weeks since she had suffered from stomach bug, yet symptoms like dizziness, nausea, an upset stomach and headaches still made her feel a bit under weather. Whether she liked it not, she would have to visit doctor's office one of these days. Lois raised her head and picked up her pencil to start working again on Mindy's Church story when her eyes fell on the two framed pictures in front of her. The first one was one of her and Lucy. She had always been very close to her, despite their differences and the fact that her little sister moved in California with their father. However, that wasn't the picture Lois was looking at now. Her focus was on the second photo, of her and Clark which was taken during the Daily Planet's Lane and Kent Campaign. It was the same pose from the Campaign photo but instead of looking at the camera they looked into each other's eyes with a smile. Lois smiled fondly; she had never believed she would love someone so much, let alone that she would be loved so unconditionally by Clark. Lois set her pencil down once more and picked up the frame to examine the photo more closely, caressing Clark's form on the picture with the tip of her index finger. She missed him that day at the newsroom. She missed his smile, his eyes, his voice, his touch. The sound of the phone ringing snapped Lois out of her thoughts, causing her to jump.

"Lois Lane." she said after she picked the receiver up out of its cradle, and put it to her ear, placing the framed photo back on the desk.

"Hey, Lois It's me." she heard Clark say through the phone.

"Clark, is everything all right?" Lois asked in concern.

"I'm fine." Clark replied quickly. "I really do." he assured as he lay on their king-sized bed. "I called because I was wondering how you were doing."

"You don't want to know." Lois told desperate. "Mindy Church will be released tomorrow and Perry forced me to interview her."

"Ouch." Clark mumbled.

"How about you?" Lois asked as she cradled the receiver between her ear and shoulder while reaching for her cup of coffee.

"I told you." Clark answered. "I'm fine I'm laying on our bed." he added "Staring at the ceiling, thinking of you."

Clark's statement caught Lois' attention. "Thinking of me?" she asked, raising her eyebrow, and took the receiver in her hand.

"Yea." Clark nodded. "I'm thinking what we could do, if you were here."

Lois shifted uncomfortable in her chair and looked around the newsroom, in case she was getting from her co-workers–those knowing, smirking looks whenever she and Clark where in the same room. "Clark." she whispered on the receiver.

"Tell me, Lois, what are you wearing?" Clark asked huskily and closed his eyes. "And I'm not talking about the business suit you wearing at work. I want to know what you are wearing underneath it."

"Clark, do you really…" Lois trailed off looking around suspiciously in case someone heard them.

"Listen to me, Lois." Clark asked as he opened his eyes. "Close your eyes." he requested. "Close your eyes and pretend I'm unbuttoning your pants." he murmured.

Lois' eyes opened wide. "Clark, we are not having phone sex right now." she shot back whispering. "You are breaking Rule #2."

"Screw the rules! Just close your eyes, Lois." Clark insisted.

Lois rolled her eyes. "Okay." she said and closed her eyes.

"Now, you know how I like to slip my hands in the back and push them down off your hips." Clark stated. "That's so I can feel your nice, tight butt and pull you up close to me. You do know that, don't ya?" he questioned.

"Aha." Lois managed to mumble.

"And of course I love getting you out of your pants. Tell me what color of panties are you wearing, Lois?" Clark asked.

Lois found she could barely speak. She tried to concentrate on holding the phone and speaking at the same time. "Burgundy." she managed to say. "I'm wearing your favorite lingerie in burgundy."

Clark swallowed hard and sat up on the bed, upon hearing Lois' answer. Although he had seen her wearing the particular lingerie, he couldn't help but stare into space and think how sexy Lois was in that lingerie. "I love that lingerie on you." he admitted slowly. "I love anything burgundy on you. Only you."

Lois opened her eyes and swallowed hard. "I know."

"I'm thinking of how wet you get for me, Lois." Clark started. "Of how I love to feel you so wet and hot for me before we even get started. Sometimes I can hardly wait to get my hand down there and touch you. Are you wet for me now, Lois?"

Lois gripped the receiver so tight that her knuckles turned white. "God yes." she said through clenched teeth.

"Remember how I like to wrap my arms around you." Clark reminded Lois. "How much I love touching your breasts and kissing you in certain spots of your body. How I love kissing, sucking and licking your tattoo on your back." he added huskily. "Can you feel me touching you? Feel my hands stroking the inside of your thighs. Teasing you." he added with sigh. "I love to tease you because you get so aroused for me. Can you feel me touching you, Lois?"

"Clark." Lois breathed.

"I can't wait for you to come home, so we can make love." Clark confessed.

"Me too." Lois admitted. "What about you, Clark?" she told further. "Are you hard for me?" she asked a when she made sure no one was watching her.

"Oh yeah." Clark chuckled as felt his throbbing bulge in his pants. "Tell me what to do about it, Lois." he urged Lois on to go on as he unzipped his pants, sighing with relief.

"You know what I like to do about it." Lois murmured. "I like to feel you pressing up against me knowing I'm the one that got you in that condition." she continued. "I love the way you taste, the feel of my hands on your chest and the way you feel pressed against me in the bed." she sighed. "But what I love the most is you moving in me and the two of us pressed impossibly close together." she murmured looking around the newsroom before she went on. "And I love your hands and mouth on me. The feel, the smell and the taste of you." she said on the receiver barely than a whisper. "I love how you make love to me, how you say my name, how you squeeze your eyes shut so tight and try so hard not to come before me." she squeezed her eyes shut.

"Oh yea." Clark admitted, swallowing hard and squeezed his eyes shut too. "And I love when you go down on me. I also love when I go down on you."

"You and me both," Lois affirmed as she opened her eyes. "For both. And I love how you cum inside me and how you hold me afterwards, touch me so gently and kiss me until I fall asleep." she mumbled.

"Me too, Lois." Clark admitted breathless. "Oh, God, Lois." he sighed.

"Look, Clark." Lois began when she managed to compose herself few moments later. "I have to hang up. We have a Staff Meeting in five." she informed as looked at her watch.

"I can't wait to have you in my arms, Lois." Clark confessed.

"Me too, my love. Bye."

"Whoa…" Lois said quietly after she ended the call with Clark and placed the receiver back on its cradle. Never in her life had she believed that she would have had phone sex with her boyfriend let alone in the newsroom during work hours. Rubbing her palm in her face, Lois groaned and slumped forward in her chair, resting her head on her crossed arms. She was in living hell. The rest of day at work would be a torture.

"More...Yes Clark...More!" Lois cried as she slammed her hips down, so Clark's member would go even deeper in her. She had never been so frustrated in her life. The effects of having phone sex with Clark were still evident on her. When she was still on the Planet, she tried to occupy herself by working on her story, and focusing on Perry's words and instructions during the Staff Meeting for the rest of day. However, it was pointless. All that she could think about was Clark and the way her body felt because of his words earlier that day. It was the reason she dragged him up the stairs and into their bedroom and had sex the moment she had stepped into the house two hours ago. "Don't be so gentle...Be rough!" she demanded. She wrapped her arms around Clark's neck and pressed her sweaty body against his, crying out as she felt their bare bodies rub against each other.

Clark did what he was told. He started to thrust into Lois harder and harder, grunting in pleasure from how tight her insides were. He sat up suddenly, his arms circling her waist, an action that drove him deeper insider her and his hips moved in sync with hers so he went much deeper when she came down. She was tight, very tight despite having sex the last two hours and he loved that feeling. "You're doing so good, darling. So, so good." he praised and leaned up to kiss her.

Lois closed her eyes and gave a throaty moan. Her breasts bounced at the fast movements while her fingers now dug into his shoulders. She was so fast that she almost lost sync. She was so needy, so desperate for him. "You could be better than that…Oh!" she threw back her head, crying out as Clark pushed into her again when he slipped out. "Baby, what are you doing- oh! Clark! Let me come on top of you!" she yelled out as they switched positions.

In one swift movement Clark had flipped them over, so Lois was lying under him with both her hands pinned above her in one of his. His body burned as if with fever, but he forced himself to pause and assess. Lois was clearly not feeling pain. Her head was tipped back, her face flushed, and she was arching against him.

"What?" Lois managed to say with a puzzled look.

"Nothing." Clark whispered. He positioned himself once more at her entrance, waiting for her to look at him and when she did he pushed in one deep, swift motion burying himself inside her. "God, Lois." he groaned as he wrapped her legs around his waist and slammed hard into her. His fingers dug into her hips as he held on to her, alternating his thrusts between long and deep and shallow and quick, angling her body along his for their mutual pleasure. Clark couldn't get enough of her. The feel of her walls on his shaft nearly made him lose his mind.

Lois' thighs squeezed Clark and pulled him closer to her. "Harder," she demanded, raising her head and glaring at him. "I need…I need more, Clark. Now!"

That was all Clark needed to hear and leaned to kiss Lois. Their lips met, tongues tangled together, teeth bit on lips while their mutual groans and moans filled the room bouncing off the walls as Clark's strokes became harsher, more demanding.

"That's it!" Lois chanted. "Oh God! Yes!" she felt the pain go through her, but that was replaced instantly with pleasure. He was so big, so thick, so harsh as he kept pounding into her that she thought he would tear her open.

Clark continued to move his hips back and forth, his thrusts so fast and hard that made the headboard rock and slam against the wall. He let go of one of Lois' hips and brought it up to her breasts, massaging them haphazardly. Sweat poured off her body, and without as second he leaned forward over her and began sucking on her erect nipples.

"Oh that's it!" Lois hissed in a pleasurable pain and grabbed the sheets as Clark flicked her sore and sensitive buds of her breasts with his tongue. "I'm gonna-"

"Come for me, Lois." Clark grunted repeatedly with each thrust so deep like there was no tomorrow. "Come for me for one more time tonight." He looked down where they joined then back up to meet Lois' lustful eyes, her expression in utter bliss. He could feel her climax starting to build, as she grew even tighter, her moans becoming high pitched and her grip on his back was like needles stabbing into him, but he welcomed the new sensations.

Lois' body tightened and she arched her back before she locked her legs tighter around his waist. She gazed back, pleasure mounting within her, eye contact with him proving more erotic than anything else. "Clark!" she screamed his name gracing her lips as she came hard on his cock.

However, Clark didn't stop. He was fast and furious, hitting her clitoris every time he thrust in, causing her to have a never-ending orgasm. "Lois!" a groan rumbled through him and his head snapped back, as he spilled into her, his own throaty cry of her name mingling with her sighs. Exhausted, he collapsed over her petite body, and started to roll onto his side when he felt her to stop him.

"Stay..." Lois whispered hotter and held him by his shoulders. "Stay like that." she said more calmly when the world around her came back into focus. She liked it very much when he lay over her body, when she felt him on top of her and when his sweaty body, which was adorned with thick muscles, touched hers. She wanted to feel him not only inside but on top of her, to fall asleep under him.

"This can't be comfortable." Clark observed puzzled by Lois' request. His eyes met hers, gazing deeply into her beautiful brown eyes before he stared at her slightly open lips. She didn't have to say anything else, because he knew what she was longing for without words, and without hesitating for a second, he kissed her soft lips. Still, during the kiss, he rolled on his back, pulled her, without ending it, and took her face between his two hands to deepen it.

Breathlessly, Lois rested her head on Clark's chest and cuddled up close to him. She could hear his heart beating as she felt him put his arm around her and pulled the blanket to her shoulders. "Where did that come from?!" as much as she tried to keep her mind sane, she was still a little daze by the mid-blowing sex she had with Clark.

"Look at you, Miss Innocent." Clark said in a sing-song tone. "You attacked me the moment you stepped into the house. That's where it came from."

"Can you blame me?" Lois purred as she crawled on top of Clark. "After your phone call all I could think of was…" she trailed off as she rubbed her entrance against his throbbing member. "I was barely listening to Perry during the Staff Meeting because my mind…" she let out a sigh as she lined up her entrance with the tip of his length. Lois groaned as sank down onto him, his cock seated deep inside her. She loved feeling him inside her, filling her, reaching every single spot inside her to make her see stars. She couldn't help but think when and how when on earth did she become such a sap and horny.

"Lois, really?" Clark asked in disbelief. "Didn't you tell me to slow down?"

"Dr. Klein talked about your super-activity." Lois reminded. "Besides, you didn't let me come on top you." she complained playfully. "And you know how much I like to be on top." she murmured. Drunk on the waves of emotion coming from him, caught in the tailspin of her own overpowering feelings for him, she began to move, sliding up and down his shaft, stopping to push her clitoris against his pelvic bone. Her breath caught in her throat as she looked down as she saw his cock slick with her wetness.

Clark clutched Lois hips, guiding her movements, making her circle his cock, giving her more pleasure with each grinding motion of her clit against him. Love emanated from him, flowing into her like an unstoppable river. Clark watched Lois as she continued to ride him, but soon it was not enough. He pressed her down to him and captured one nipple between his lips. He timed the movements of his suckling to the rhythm of her hips as she slammed against his body.

"Ow! No!"

Clark stopped moving and retreated from Lois' body immediately, with a look of hurt and concern playing over his eyes and face. "Oh, no. Clark's it's not you." Lois rushed to apologize. "My breasts. They are just very tender and sore." she began to explain and held his hand running it in back down her body, "This is not though, and what you were doing felt extremely good."

"Okay." Clark said hesitatingly and began to move in and out of Lois slowly, capturing her nipples alternative between his lips once more.

Lois threw her head back and pressed Clark's face closer to her, encouraging him to take more of her flesh into his mouth. She moaned when he bit down on her breast, breaking the skin and leaving yet another mark on her. She felt a little bit sore but the tingling sensation of his swat mixing in with hers was incredibly erotic. Pressed down on him as she was, each thrust of her hips meant that not only enjoyed the way he pushed deep inside her, but also that her clitoris rubbed against his pubic bone, creating the best kind of friction. It was wonderful. This was different than sex with Patrick. Different than sex with Claude. Clark was more. Clark, Clark was…magnificent. Truly. She couldn't get enough of him. Lois felt herself growing closer to another orgasm when she felt Clark's hand move close to her lower back.

Clark watched Lois' face as well as her emotions and her orgasm began to build inside her. He began sucking on her neck and thrusting upward, while the tip of his fingers traced Lois' tattoo. He sensed her peak approaching. Her muscles began clasping on his member; her emotions swirled in that wonderful mix of pleasure, lust, bliss, and euphoria. "That's it, Lois." he said, panting as he felt his own orgasm fast approaching.

"God, Clark, what are you doing to me." Lois murmured, shaking her head as if to clear it from her daze. His movements were almost hypnotizing. It was too much; his tongue on her neck, his member in her were slipping inside in perfect sync with him, entering her. She couldn't stop herself, she didn't want to. She began to move wildly, impaling herself on his cock. "Yes, yes, yes," she chanted, not sure if the words were only in her mind, or crossed her lips as well. She felt like she was on fire, the two of them locked in a sweaty and pulsating heat.

"Yes, Lois." Clark pressed her head against his neck. "You feel so good."

"Cl-arrrk" Lois moaned as her internal muscles clenched around him. Her eyes rolled back and her toes curled.

Clark kissed Lois to silence her screams as he slammed into her suddenly. "Lois" he groaned as he spilled into her.

With a final whole body jolt, Lois collapsed against Clark. "Do you know that they probably heard us down the block?" she said as she came down from the high and cuddled up close to him.

"Yea." Clark nodded and kissed Lois' forehead. "But I don't have problem with that."

"Me neither." Lois replied with a smile before they both burst into laughter. "Do you remember the first time we made love?"

"How could I forget?" Clark breathed, smiling at the memory. "Do you remember the first night we made love against the ceiling?"

Lois nodded. "How about that night I woke up and found you floating over me instead of sleeping next to me?" she reminded.

"You yelled and you woke me up, making me fall right on top of you." Clark laughed.

"You scared the living daylights out of me." Lois admitted laughing. "I mean I have flown with you, made love against the ceiling and mid-air…" she trailed off. "But seeing you floating over me…It was the reason I kept trying to push you off of me when you fell on top of me, but failed."

Sorry…" Clark apologized. "I should have told you that this could happen."

"It's okay." Lois assured. "Now I know."

"Anyway." Clark tilted upward so that he could get a better look at Lois' facial features. "Are you hungry?" he asked. "Because…." he trailed off as he rubbed his stomach slightly.

"Aha." Lois mumbled.

"Take out?" Clark chuckled.

"Nah, I wanna cook me that pasta of yours."

Clark smiled. "Al-right."

"What a day." Lois breathed the moment she climbed out of her car in the Planet's underground garage and leaned against her car after she shut the door behind her. Her interview with Mindy Church after her release that day in the Church Manor on the outskirts of Metropolis was a success. Although Mindy Church's words seemed sincere, Lois' instinct told her not to trust her. She found it hard for Mindy not to know about her husband's criminal activities, but then again, she didn't realize what kind of criminal Lex was until it was almost too late. "Look who is talking." she murmured to herself before she pushed herself away from her car. Lois locked her vehicle with her keyless remote control, then walked towards the elevators, the sound of her keyless entry and the finality of each click of her heels on the ground echoing through the underground garage.

"Hi." a familiar male voice said from behind.

Lois stood dead and turned to face the man. "What do you want now?" she asked with a sigh, crossing her arms over chest.

"I was wondering how you were doing." the man replied with genuine amusement in his voice.

Lois just rolled her eyes, uncrossed her arms and turned to leave.

"Lois, wait." the man grabbed Lois by the arm stopping her.

"Hey!" Lois shouted enraged and freed herself from the man's grip. "What is wrong with you?"

"I'm sorry." the man apologized, holding his hands up defensively.

"Dan!" Lois almost shouted. " . .HERE?" She was surprised to see him there after what happened the last time they met. Back she had made it clear that she wanted him to stay away from her, yet few months later. He was right in front of her. Momentarily, it crossed her mind to call Clark as Superman, but just as quickly as that thought came, it disappeared because it could only make things worse. Besides he was still recovering from his encounter with the Presses and she didn't want to take unnecessary risks.

"Look, Lois." Dan started defensively. "I was in town on assignment and I couldn't help but wonder…" he trailed off. "Look all I want to know is one thing and you will never see me again." he promised.

"What?" Lois asked with a sigh as she crossed her arms.

"Why him?" Dan asked. "Why you chose Kent over me?" He still couldn't fathom Lois' reasons for choosing Kent over him. What did Kent have that he didn't?

Lois leaned against a parked car. "Why I chose Clark over you." she mumbled with a shy smile and looked down briefly to the greasy smudge on the ground, before she looked back to Dan. "Simple. I chose Clark because he is Clark."

"Excuse me?" Dan raised his eyebrows questioningly, not quite understanding what she meant.

"You heard what I said." Lois said simply as uncrossed her arms. "I chose Clark because he is Clark." she repeated her previous statement. "He is the man that I had barely met few hours when he had come to the Planet, yet he knew me better than anyone, better than my own self." she began to explain. "He is the man who barely was working with me for one month yet he was running across the town to an after-hours drugstore to get my prescription while I was sick. He is the man who stayed awake all night outside my apartment building and saved my life the next morning when they tried to kill me." she went on. "He is the person that he never gave up on me, the only person I can trust and count on, the only person that he will back me up no matter what."

"So, you chose Kent because you feel safe with him?" Scardino asked incredulously.

"Is that what you think it is?" Lois laughed. "You are wrong." she shook her head. "I'm telling you those things to show you that I don't care about expensive gifts and great speeches but I care about little things." she admitted. "And Clark cares about them. He is the only man who really managed to crack through my thick exterior. He knows how I like drinking my coffee, how I like eating my salad. And the fact he makes me breakfast when he wakes up earlier than me and puts my pajamas in the oven on a cold night to warm them up for me when I come back home later than him."

"Wait, back up!" Dan interjected. "Are you two living together now?" he asked in disbelief.

Lois swallowed down her self-consciousness and nodded. She didn't often share these snippets of her relationship with people. Not even Molly or her sister Lucy. They were private. But I was also important, she realized, to give Dan in particular—a well-rounded view of who the man she loved was.

"You love him so much, don't ya?" Dan asked, a crestfallen expression plastered on his face as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his pants.

"I love Clark." Lois affirmed with pride. "I love, who he is, everything he's been, done, dreamed, thought; every second of his life up to now." she smiled. "And to be honest I don't think Love is word that can describe what I'm feel for him." she revealed. "What I'm feel for Clark is so strong and beyond any other feeling in my life that I don't think there is any word in the World to describe it." she went on with same proud tone in her voice. "Clark is the best thing in my life... and I almost missed him because I was too busy controlling my work, my feelings, everything. I got lucky. He made me notice him." she admitted. "But the worst thing is that I was emotionally invested in a fantasy, I almost got married to the worst criminal of the town and I got your hopes up that something would happen between us, because I couldn't accept from the beginning how I really felt about him." she confessed. "I think my heart knew all along what I wanted. And probably my head did too. I'm sorry that I pulled you into this, Dan." she apologized. "I know it's not enough but…"

Dan looked down on the ground thoughtfully, his sigh being one of mournful defeat. "It's okay." he said with a casual shrug as he looked back to Lois. "So, there is nothing else left to say." he announced using the same monotone, formal tone of voice that he used whenever he was talking to Lois about his feelings for her. The tone of voice that could only speak facts. "I'm going to go now and I promise I will never bother you again. Goodbye." he waved heartbroken to Lois for the last time before he started to walk away.

"Dan." Lois called softly.

Dan turned and looked at her.

"I'm really sorry." Lois apologized once more with honesty.

Dan just nodded before turned and walked away.

Lois leaned her body against the car and breathed a sigh of relief as that complicated chapter in her life had come to a true close. She closed her and rubbed her forehead trying to ease her tension when a gentle sound caught her attention, like someone clearing their throat. Immediately, her body snapped to attention, ready to identify any potential threats and flatten anyone who thought they might be able to take advantage of her previously distracted state. "Clark!" she almost screeched the moment Clark stepped out from the shadows of two black SUV's which were parked close. "You scared the hell out of me." she said, trying to regain control of her breathing. "What are you doing here?"

Clark looked down the ground awkwardly. "Look I… My super-hearing kicked in and I heard your conversation with Scardino."

"Ev-everything?" Lois asked hesitantly.

Clark looked back at her with a slight smile.

"And what do you have to say about it?"

"That I'm warming your pajamas up with my heat-vision, not putting them in the oven." Clark half joked, before his face turning serious. He just shoved his hands into the pockets of his pants and shrugged. "The truth is I'm…not sure I know what to say here…" he admitted, his words fumbling as they were voiced. He knew how she felt about him through her actions every day and the letter she had written to him, but hearing those words from her, that confession, it was overwhelming.

"Clark It's not-"

"I know exactly what it is." Clark cut Lois short and took a few steps toward her. "And I want you to know that I love you." he murmured as he cupped her face in his hands, making her meet his gaze.

"I love you too, Clark." Lois mumbled as she rested her forehead against Clark's. "I love you too."
