171A.N. I'm alive and i've written most of the next chapter, now some of you may have noticed i fixed the messed up luck. but more importantly, now that im not half asleep, i fixed magikarps stats. I completely undersailed my boy and all pokemon, there is a reason humans had to be very reliant on pokemon and technology in this world.
I pick up Jormungand and I notice how wet feeling he is but he has no water on him?. Huh. a question for later. Looking back to Sycamore to see him holding a camera in his hand, before a flash goes off.

At this point Jor jumps on to the floor from my arms causing a large THMP. Similarly the Chespin jumps onto the floor causing a much less impressive thmp. Ha, your fate is sealed.

Jor, use Splash now and cut it off in a second!
The green and brown rat starts running at Jor shoulder first while coalescing green energy onto its opposite fist and swinging it forward. Jor launches himself into the air while the Mole is running causing it to suddenly look up and almost trip on itself. The Chespin, not knowing how to change the momentum of his punch yet, whiffs it's attack while Jor slams on to it from above with increased weight. As Jor falls to the side the Chespin is forced into the ground face-first. While this is happening I cast [Heat/Cool] and recast it multiple times focused on Chespin, basically super-cooling the pokemon. God, I love Exploits in wording! The Chespin at this point moves lethargically and is hyperventilating, while Jor, whose species are more resistant to changing temperatures as well as being further from the epicenter, takes it much better.
"Ritter, why are you still down!? It's just a Splash!"

At this point, with Jor using Splash to launch himself up, and me recasting Cool on it, the Chespin looks ready to keel over.

And just like that a red flash of light sucks up our victim before we could finish it. Maybe it would Faint or maybe it would die, all I know is that I just beat a type advantage in a battle with a Magikarp only using Splash. Eat your heart out MDB. Now where's my Exp?

I'm being hounded by Decon Corp. for my research on Mega Evolution. And worst of all, I accused one of my new assistants of assault, with little evidence. Merde! I could lose my funding if this gets out and all of these people working in this lab could lose their livelihoods!
How did it spiral out of control so fast. Why is it that it's so easy to distrust that young man? Just looking at him makes me suspicious. I can tell i'm not the only one who feels this way judging on Dexio and Sina questions about him . That poor boy must be used to this, judging by his reaction. If that was me, I would've raised hell over potential homicide. What would Lysandre think of him?

Finding the exit to Route 5 took longer than it should've. That douche with the petition to replace the taxi system with Gogoats, followed me for way too long. Well, at least I got some practice with Stark Reality. Any who, supposedly Camphrier Town is forty miles away, plenty of time to grind and catch a new pokemon. I'll simply follow the cobblestone road for a few miles before splitting off to catch a pokemon. While I'm at it, i'll let Jor out to grind.
