Stranded

A/N: We are now down to the final five campers.

Anyway on to the chapter!

Kevin's P.O.V

Last night, Leshawna was voted off the Island by all the losers. I don't know why because if it was me I would have voted off Duncan or Gwen. The important thing is that I was now in the final five.

I've spent almost two months here on Total Drama, and I couldn't believe I made it here this long. I was in the final five. I also couldn't believe how much happier I was now since my parent's death. I never thought I would be happy again.

It has been raining all week, and it was so annoying. Like total nonstop, that was all it had been. Just rain, thunderstorms, and more rain. It has been awful I can't stand the rain. It was only three us three boys now with two girls.

"Listen up, campers!" I heard Chris's voice. "One of the most grueling challenges of any summer camp experience is the dreaded rain day. Where all activities were given the remote possibility of fun are canceled in favor in favor of the arts and crafts center.

"The forecast for tomorrow is rain, rain, and more rain followed by rain. See you all at the crafts tents tomorrow at 0700 hours." Chris finished.

"Crying like a big baby won't bring Leshawna back, you know," Heather said. "It'll just give you premature wrinkles. Oops, too late." Gwen stomped the floorboard.

"Why don't you do us all a favor and vote yourself off," Gwen said.

"Why don't you shut up and leave my Queen alone!" I said annoyed.

"In your dreams, nerd," Heather said.

"You know what I'm going to bed for the night," I said standing up. Heather gave me a small smile.

I returned the smile before walking into the boy cabin for the night. When I walked in I noticed Owen wasn't there. I just shrugged and got in my bed and went to sleep.

I slowly up and stretch my arms. I then saw Duncan get up from his bunk. I went ahead and up from mine also. When I stepped off the stairs, I unexpectedly fell into a massive amount of water.

I swam up and shook my hair to get the water out making my ponytail fall off.

"What in the world?!"

Gwen and Heather fell off of their beds.

"Where did all the water come from?!" Gwen asked.

"How should I know? Why don't you ask the leeches?" Heather asked, then screamed and shook them off her arms.

"You know, this is so ridiculous, it's almost funny," Duncan commented.

A shark then swam by us.

We all swam back to the cabin that I and Duncan slept in. The shark was destroying anything in the water he could get his fins on.

"QUICK, WE NEED SOMETHING BIG AND CHEWY TO SHOVE INTO HIS MOUTH!" Gwen exclaimed.

"OWEN!" Heather shouted.

"I haven't seen anyway," I said.

Somehow, the cabin drifted towards an island and we got off it there.

"Okay, is anyone else creeped out by this deserted island?" Gwen asked.

"Puh-lease, any goofball could see that this is one of Chris' cheesy production sets with fake props," Heather said and kicked a rock.

"Yo, drama queens, we've obviously just drifted downstream. The producers will send a search party. Let's just chill until the rescue team arrives." Duncan said, relaxing on a rock.

"What if there isn't a rescue team? What if the producers think we're dead?"

"Well I say we build a raft," Gwen suggested.

"Good call. Let's get more lost."

"We need to stay put," Duncan said.

"Build a raft," Gwen said.

"Stay put."

"Duh. We're not lost. This is just Chris's lame attempt at challenging our shipwrecked survival skills. I'M ON TO YOU CHRIS!" Heather yelled. "I'm going for a walk," Heather said putting on her sunglasses and walking off.

"I'm going with her," I said walking off with Heather.

/Kevin: I will admit things are getting tense. I'm not surprised where wet, starving and have no idea where we even are./

While walking we then saw a random treehouse.

"Not bad. Beats sleeping on the beach," Heather said.

"Yeah it does," I said agreeing with her.

"Nice view," Heather said as we were now standing at the top of the treehouse.

"Hey, you two! If you're done yelling at each other, I found us a place to rest!" Heather yelled opening the door and then scream and falling from the treehouse freaked out by the random skeleton.

She then started screaming again when she saw a giant skeleton of an animal head.

"So, still think we're downstream from camp?" Heather asked Duncan.

"Okay, I've been wrong before," Duncan said.

I helped Heather up from the ground and the four of us with up the treehouse.

"Wait a sec." Heather said tapping the skull's head." This is just like when they sent us to Boney Island. Don't you see it's so obviously a survival challenge. YOU CAN'T SCARE ME CHRIS!"

"What's obvious is that we're stranded on a deserted island and we'll die unless we build a raft." Gwen stared at Duncan.

"If we're stranded, then the producers will obviously rescue us," Duncan stated.

"What if the producers don't know where to look? They aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed in case you haven't notice."

I sighed not wanting to hear this argument again.

"Then let's make a new rule. Every camper for themselves." Duncan stated.

"You can do that but I'm sticking with my girlfriend," I said walking inside of the treehouse with Heather.

I was sitting down on the floor in the treehouse stirring in my journal. When I heard the door open and saw Heather with a bunch of sweets.

"Where you get all of that from," I asked.

"Owen secret stashed," she replied.

The two of us started eating the sweets while looking out the window to see what the other two were up to.

"Hey where you two get that chocolate?" Duncan asked carrying an egg.

"Oh nowhere. Just Owen's secret stash of junk food," Heather replied.

"That genius. I always thought his mattress looked lumpy," Duncan said.

"You got to share that with is man," Duncan said." Where starving."

"Oh, no. I believe you said w every camper for themselves. Except for the two of us because I'm not leaving my girlfriend here alone," I said.

"And since we're alone on the island-" Heather continued but suddenly a loud roaring noise came from the distance.

"Or not," Gwen said.

The roaring noise kept going on.

"It's just Chris freaking us out," Heather commented.

"Well, whatever it is I'm not sticking around to find out what it is," Gwen stated as she began to push her raft into the water.

"You don't even know where you're going," Heather said to us.

"Who cares. At least it's not here with you." Gwen stated.

"I'll trade you an egg in exchange for a ride," Duncan told her.

/Gwen: Riding with him was the last thing I wanted to do, but I was starving.\

I heard Gwen's stomach growl.

"DEAL." Gwen firmly said.

She then let Duncan onto the raft.

"HEY! You can't just form an alliance and leave me!" Heather yelled.

"Bye Heather. Good luck." Gwen said sarcastically and began paddling the boat.

"DON'T GO! DON'T GO! If you come back, I'll let you have Owen's chocolate bars!" Heather attempted to bribe them but they just ignored her. I could see her starting to freak out.

"Relax I won't let anything happen to you," I said placing a head on her shoulder.

After Heather finally calmed down. We were just sitting outside the treehouse when we saw someone with bread, causing Heather to scream.

She then started throwing the junk food at the guy. He just kept climbing up and I realize he looked just like Owen.

He then fell down grunting."Oh, um. Mallomars."

"Owen? Is that you?" Heather asked.

"I believe it is," I said.

"You completely freaked me out," she said heading down to him." And what is with that fake bread?" She asked pulling on it making him scream in pain.

Owen then started touching both of us to make sure we're real which was very annoying.

Suddenly we heard screaming and saw Heather and Duncan fall from the sky.

"Owen?" Gwen asked. He then picked them both treehouse up.

"Oh, my brethren!" Owen said. "At last we're together. I shall never let go!" Then a snake fell on Owen's shoulders. "Oh let me rephrase that. Run!"

We took off the treehouse as we watched the snake below.

"What's with the fake beard?" Gwen asked and pulled into it.

We all got onto the shelter. We didn't have a way down thanks to the snake. We all headed inside the shelter. Owen was playing 'I spy' to pass the time.

"I spy with my little eye something that is caramelly," Owen said.

"Malamar's?" Duncan answered in a bored tone.

"Hahaha. Right again. Okay, it's your turn Mr. Coconut." Owen said.

"He knows it's just a fruit, right?" Gwen asked.

"He probably went insane," I said just rolling my eyes at his behavior.

"THAT'S IT! I AM DONE WITH THIS GAME. I can't bond with you guys anymore because you're all crazy." Heather stomped then smiled at me letting me know she wasn't talking about me.

I smiled back already knowing she wasn't including me.

"You say that like you're not," Duncan commented.

"I and Kevin are the only ones left on this show with a shred of sanity."

"HA! And this is coming from the girl who changes friends more often than I change socks."

"Which is so not often enough by the way. At least I've got my game on."

"Game on? HELLO?! NONE OF US ARE IN THE COMPETITION BECAUSE THE PRODUCERS THINK WE'RE DEAD! WHICH MEANS WE'RE GONNA DIE ON THIS FREAKING ISLAND!" Gwen shouted.

"We are?" Owen asked then screamed." Heavenly hash! We're gonna die! and I've never even had a date."

I sighed as Owen went on about so many things he hasn't gotten to do in his life.

"UGH! Make him stop!" Gwen covered her ears.

Heather shoved a banana in his mouth to get him to stop talking.

"Thanks." Owen thanked Heather.

/Kevin: I doubt where going to die, but if I do then just means I get to see my parents again./

"Guys! You know what we have to do?" Owen asked.

"Run for our lives and leave you and Mr. Coconut behind?" Duncan stated.

"No. We need to confess our sins." Owen said.

We all gave him a look.

"Uh, not." Heather quickly refused.

"No, seriously. I confessed all my sins and felt great. Don't you wanna clear your conscience before you die?" Owen said.

Before I knew it, everyone began making confessions. We even figured out what Duncan went to Juvie hall for. Yeah, a lot of deep stuff going around. After Heather finished her story, everyone looked at me.

"What?" I looked at them.

"It's your turn. Everyone went but you." Owen stated.

"Oh, trust me. I have nothing to share you already know the one thing I'm not proud about Chris told you when we did the phobia challenge," I said.

"Nice try my knight, you aren't going to get out that easily," Heather stated. "I know there is probably something else."

"R-really. I don't have anything. I really don't do much."

"There must be something else in your life you aren't proud of." Duncan raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I guess, there is one other thing I'm not very proud of."

"Then tell us."

I glanced at all of them and sighed.

"Alright back when I was ten years two years after putting in the orphanage. I was so close to being adopted instead of accepting it I told them that I didn't want to be adopted by a pathetic family and to get lost. I wasn't adopted because I was boring it was because I was a jerk," I said.

"Is that why you are always trying to so nice even when you are annoyed or mad?" Heather asked.

"Yeah. It is."

"Ah, there. Don't you feel better?" Owen said laying down on a bed.

We all exchanged looks.

"No. I just feel more guilty." I said crossing my arms.

Owen then started freaking out about a spider and ran outside.

"Hey look. We got neighbors." Owen said.

We all joined him outside to see what he was looking at. There was smoke traveling up into the sky.

"The rescue team?" Duncan asked.

"Probably a trick courtesy of Chris," Heather stated.

"I know how we can find out," Owen said.

Owen ended up putting some sort of paint on our faces. Me and Duncan paint on our faces were similar to each other.

"I don't know about this," Gwen commented.

"We pretend we're the head hunters and scare the bajibers out of whoever's messing with our heads," Owen told us.

"There's only one problem. A 50-foot python with an attitude." Duncan pointed out.

"Oh, that." Owen threw at the snake, knocking it out.

"Why didn't you do that hours ago?" Gwen asked.

"What? And miss out on all our bonding? Come on. Let's go ooga boogie." Owen told us.

I just sighed and followed behind them.

"This is it, brethren. We might not come back alive."

We went running in like idiots. The only one of us that was probably threatening was Duncan. Turns out we ran into Chris and Chef.

"Hey, guys. It's about time you showed up." Chris said with a grin.

"Mr. Coconut. It's a mirage. They're just figments of my imagination." Owen said to .

Still don't understand why he's talking to that thing.

"Owen. It's not a Mirage. It's our production crew's secret location. Or was a secret until now." Chris said.

"But what about the t-rex skull?" Heather asked.

"And the prehistoric goose?" Duncan added.

"And the egg?" I added.

"Oh. Those are just leftovers from a dinosaur movie that was-" Chris started.

"You mean, while we were shipwrecked, you were here basking in the laughs and luxury of a mere 100 feet away?" Heather asked, clearly annoyed.

It suddenly started to rain.

"Yes, Heather. That would be accurate. Sorry, I'd invite you in, but there's only room for 7. See you at the campfire tonight."

I can't stand this guy he is such a pain

We were all sitting at the campfire pit.

"Well, it's been grueling day campers. Frankly, Chef and I are worn out. I hope you learned two valuable lessons. First, always make sure your cabins are securely fastened to the ground, and second, the 'every camper for themselves' idea sucks. Five heads are always better than one." Chris said.

"I think you mean, six." Owen corrected.

"Which brings us to yet, another dramatic marshmallow ceremony."

"Which brings us to yet, another dramatic marshmallow ceremony."

"Wait a minute. You have 5 marshmallows, that's one for each of us." Duncan pointed out.

"Excellent observation Dude. Heather, Duncan, Gwen, Lukas, Owen." Chris said, tossing us all marshmallows.

"Oh no. You don't mean-" Owen started.

"Yep, it's time for to walk the dock of shame," Chris said.

Chris took Mr. Coconut and threw him down the dock. I can't believe we had an elimination ceremony for a fruit.

"By the way, what we confessed back there, stays back there," Heather said.

"Oh yeah," Duncan added.

"No argument." Gwen agreed.

"Agreed." I nodded

I was laying on the ground staring at the stars when I heard a familiar voice.

"Kevin," The voice said.

I turned to see Heather walking over to me.

"Are you okay?" She asked. "You seem deep in thought," she said.

"Yeah I'm fine," I said. "It just after that confession I can't help but wonder if I will ever get adopted and have a family again or will I be alone for the rest of my life. I did have a few friends but most of them of my age have been adopted except for maybe two."

"Kevin you get a new family one day. You just have to keep believing," she said. "And even if you don't you won't be alone you will have me by your side, but I know you get adopted," she said kissing my cheek.

"Thanks, Heather I feel better," I said standing up and then kissed her goodnight before heading back to the cabin.
