Disclaimer: I don't own Phineas and Ferb!

After getting back to Isabella's house, Emma waited in the kitchen while Isabella supposedly finished something up. She was curious, so she went to her room and knocked on the door.

"Hey, what are you doing in there?" Emma laughed.

"Umm... just finishing this up." Isabella nervously replied.

"Finishing what? Sorry if I'm a little nosy..."

"Just this painting. You know what, I can finish this after we go to the mall. Let's go!" Isabella replied and opened and closed the door quickly. Emma was a little bit confused, but just went with it.

"Alright sounds good, I'm so excited! Hey, thanks for doing this for me!" Emma smiled.

"Anytime, Em! I can call you that right?"

"Yeah, sure!" Emma giggled.

"You can call me Izzy, by the way." Izzy giggled back and they opened the front door, but there was none other than Candace Flynn at the front door, about to knock.

"Oh, uh- hi, Candace..." Izzy said, flustered.

"Hey, Isabella, I was going to talk to you, but I see you're a little busy right now. Can you meet me at the park at 5?" Candace asked her.

"I-I guess I can do that."

"Awesome see you then! Enjoy your little playdate." she smirked and walked to the yellow house across the street.

"Who was that?" Emma asked.

"Oh, just my neighbor. I honestly don't know why she wants to talk to me I'm just her brothers' friend." Izzy replied, looking off into the distance, like she was distracted by something, and was woken to reality when Emma started waving her hand in front of her face.

"Isabella! Izzy! Hello? Earth to Izzy!" she said.

"Oh- sorry about that. Just a little distracted."

"So... she has brothers? Like plural?" Emma smirked.

"Yeah, but the red heads off limits!" Izzy said and then covered her mouth because she wasn't paying attention to what she was saying.

"Off limits? Like you're dating him? I wanna see!" Emma giggled.

"Well, no. He doesn't even know I like him. He's just so... oblivious when it comes to showing emotions." she sighed.

"Aww... I'm sorry Izzy! I know how that feels though. Getting ignored by someone you feel so much for is just painful." Emma frowned and looked at the ground.

"No, it's fine! I'm getting over him. That's actually what I was doing in my room. I made this painting to show that it was the last thing I will ever do until I accept the fact that we are just friends and that's all it will ever be." Izzy looked upset and hurt, and sat down on the front step.

"Hey, lets get going, maybe our trip to the mall will make you feel better! Shopping makes me feel better! But let's talk about this later, okay?" Emma smiled and held her hand out for Izzy to take it.

Izzy took her hand and smiled. "Thank you so much. I think we are gonna be great friends."

-Meanwhile-

Phineas was sitting on his bed in his room. He felt so alone, even though there were so many people he could be talking to. He didn't want to talk to them though. All Ferb ever did was nod or shake his head, because he wasn't very talkative, but Phineas figured he would try to rant a little bit.

"Hey Ferb, can I talk to you?" he sighed, looking down in the dumps. Ferb nodded. "No, I mean, really talk. Can you just give me a little conversation here, man?"

"Sure, go ahead and talk." Ferb said, in his deep British accent.

"Thanks, bro. Anyways, lately I've been feeling kind of... weird. Like not myself. I have no idea why. Have you realized anything?" Phineas asked, hoping for a response from his brother.

"It seems that you've started distancing yourself from everyone ever since Izzy went on vacation. Could you possibly have feelings for her?" Ferb asked, raising one eyebrow.

"I-Ferb! No, I don't think of Isabella like that. She's my best friend. Plus, even if I did, I wouldn't want to ruin our friendship." Phineas blushed and scratched behind his ear. "But... I do miss her. I just wish she would come over like she used to. Maybe I should call her. No, wait, I'll go to her door! That's it, I'll go see her!" He looked out the window with a smile on his face, but it quickly turned when he saw her walking down the street with someone. He couldn't quite make out if it was a guy or a girl, but he suddenly got this pain in his chest.

"Oh. Nevermind. She's busy, I guess." He frowned and flopped back on his bed.

-Flashing forward to the mall-

"This place is awesome!" Emma exclaimed while munching on a SlushyDog after touring the whole mall and carrying at least 7 bags of clothes and knickknacks. "I can't believe we don't have one of these back home! Our town was pretty small and old fashioned."

Izzy laughed and replied, "Yeah, Danville is pretty great! Just wait until you see what Phineas and Ferb are gonna do over the... summer... nevermind forget I said that."

"Who's Phineas and Ferb? Wait, are these the neighbor boys you're friends with?" Emma asks curiously.

"Yeah, but I'm taking a little break for a while until I'm over Phineas. I don't need those feelings rushing back right now." Isabella sighed.

"Well, maybe that's what you need? To see him? Sometimes the best way to get over someone is to see them and remember the pain they caused you. That's how I got over my ex." Emma suggested.

"You know what? You're right! I'm gonna go over there tomorrow!" Izzy smiled. "Thank you! Oh wait! Look at the time! It's 4:45 I have to go to the park to meet Candace! Wanna come with?" she asked.

"I would love to! You sure I'm not interruping anything?" Emma asked.

"No, not at all! You can meet Candace, I'm sure she'll love you!" Izzy took her hand and they ran out of the mall and to the park.
