1Mark and Sonic: Heroic Partners
Prologue
A Family of three Hedgehogs was sitting in their house, when it had begun to rain. But all was not as it seemed, these Hedgehogs were currently the ones protecting the legendary Chaos Emeralds. Unfortunately, the previous day, they were warned that someone was going to be after the 7 Chaos Emeralds that they possessed, and knew that they had to do something.
The Hedgehog with an azure blue coat, with blue eyes and a single red stripe on each quill spoke up. "What should we do, Dave? We can't keep the Chaos Emeralds here, they are in danger if they continue to be here, as this is the first place that they will look for them!"
The Hedgehog named Dave, who had darker fur, and a single green stripe on each quill, responded with, "I only have one idea we can possibly use, Katie, and it breaks my heart to say it, but we must use the powers of the 7 Chaos Emeralds and send them away, along with our only son, who will take care of at least one of them." he finished with a sad look.
Katie gasped, and said, "Are you sure we should do this? He will most likely lose us, and I don't want to have to put him through that." Katie said with tears in her eyes.
Dave nodded, "We have no choice, our son, Mark, must become the Guardian of one of the 7 Chaos Emeralds, although I have no idea where the Emeralds will send him, at least he will be able to keep one of them safe until the Emeralds decide to bring him back to where ever his friend Sonic is, as I don't think they will send him their right away."
Katie sighed, "Alright, I guess we don't have a choice in this, do we?" She chuckles lightly. "Let's just get this over with, as much as I hate the idea of sending our only son away, it's much better then the entire world ending at the hands of evil."
The Hedgehogs gather up the 7 Chaos Emeralds, and a sleeping Hedgehog, who has an Azure blue fur color, seems to be wearing rings on his wrists and ankles, and has one red and green on each quill. His name is Mark They then say the prayer sometimes used on the Chaos Emeralds, instead of absorbing them.
"The servers are the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Chaos is power, enriched by the heart. The controller is the one who unifies the Chaos." They said together.
What happened next, surprised them a little, the Chaos Emeralds started to float and circle Mark, and the Red and Green Emeralds shot out a faint beam at him, opening his eyes, and visibly changing his eyes to Emerald Green on the left eye, and Crimson on the right eye. The Red Chaos Emerald then floats into Mark, and then they disappear, with the 6 remaining Emeralds disappearing as well.
Katie sighed, "well, now what do we do?"
An unknown voice spoke up, "Now...you die!"

Silver The Swordsman: same here, and I'll admit to having minimal knowledge of the Sonic Franchise at best, and that's why I'm assisting Mark! I have some more writing experience, but that doesn't make Mark a rookie!
Grima: oh will you two stop with this stuff? Get to the main point already!
Mark The Gamer of Grima: who asked you, Grima?
Kai: Whoops! I think I wandered into the wrong author's notes again. I really should stop drinking before using my teleportation spells...
*faintly in the distance, we hear someone similar to Roman Torchwick yell* "get back over here Kai!"
Mark The Gamer of Grima: umm. Well then, I think we should end off here, before anything else crazy happens, agreed?
Silver The Swordsman: agreed. Also, who are these people? I don't think they're supposed to be here!
Mark The Gamer of Grima: I have no idea, though I sorta recognize the guy with orange hair wearing a white suit and a bowler hat. Anyway, with that said, See you guys for chapter one of Mark &Sonic: Heroic Partners!
Silver The Swordsman: Bye!
*Kai accidentally resists the Universe, but it seems our heroes are unaffected*
