2Ash had just gotten to the Galar region after fetching his Charizard from prof Oak and looking forward to the traveling he would do meanwhile Serena had traveled to there as well because she had called Delia to ask if Ash had gone to a new region and found out that he had and thus Ash was dumbfounded seeing Serena there.
Ash just stared at Serena with a flabberghasted expression decorating his face while by Serena there was a feeling of hapiness around Serena as she positively beamed at him even tho her heart did not calm down at all but she all but tackled Ash into a hug laughing out loud causing Ash to laugh with her they were so happy and then they seperated.
Ash : Serena how ya been I'm so glad just to see you oh now I'm now even more psyched to be here!
Serena : I am fine currently Ash but listen here Braixen has evolved into Delphox and by the way I missed you too.
Ash : Oh okay Serena I see what your getting at you want to battle huh okay Charizard I choose you!
Serena : Delphox show Ash how much you have grown now come on out and do your best!
Charizard came out and Delphox appeared in front of Serena while Charizard stood in front of Ash.
Serena : Ash if I actually win this I want to ask you something after I remind you about why I ask.
Ash : Alright then Serena now I haven't used Charizard in a long time but prepare to be surprised.
Serena : Delphox use Scratch!
Ash : Charizard counter with Slash!
The two part Fire types rushed at each other with their front paws pulled back to execute their orders and their claws clashed and glinted and they jumped back.
Serena : Delphox use Psyshock!
Ash : Charizard use flame thrower!
Charizard unleashed a powerful torrent of flames from it's mouth but Delphox somehow overpowered him causing quite a bit of damage and making Charizard stumble.
Serena : Delphox finish with Psychic!
Before Ash could even get another order out Charizard was overwhelmed when a blue glow surrounded it and sent it crashing into a tree after which Ash quickly returned him to his Pokèball
Ash : Serena you wanted to tell me...
Serena : Ash remember that day I kissed you,you know that meant I love you right, so please go out with me!
Ash : Serena well it seems I didn't have to worry, I love you too and I will definitely go out with you because I do love you too.
Then they kissed.
