7Happy Halloween everyone. This is something I've been meaning to do for a LONG time. Back in my first year of college I found this crossover of Rosario Vampire and Soul Eater where it was a Yuri pairing between Maka and Moka. I liked the pairing itself but sadly the fanfic itself left allot to be desired. With it's rushed story, abundance of fan service that would make the Rosario Vampire anime itself say to tone it down, it's choice in being based on the Rosario Vampire anime instead of the manga, and the biggest problem being the constant, and I mean CONSTANT, annoying author's notes throughout the story. The author, Sai Kunai Blade, took my criticisms and had admitted that he could've done a way better job on the fanfic with the reasons as to why he made it the way it was was because of his hatred for the anime, making me wonder why he made it in the first place, and his hatred of Tsukune and Kurumu. Due to his dislike of the Rosario Vampire anime he stopped writing the fanfic and had since put it up for adoption... at least he HAD until he deleted the fanfic when I asked if I could remake the fanfic my own way, to which he agreed to. If you guys want to read the original, someone else has the original on their author page from an author by the name of dustinhogan83. So if you guys wanna see what the original version was like, that guy has you covered. And I told him to never delete no mater what. And there's another one on Wattpad so there you go.
I have to preference this, the fanfic itself WAS in fact up for adoption, so if you guys want to make your own version, you are free to do so.

So to make this work this will be a full on remake rather then a word for word retelling of the original version. with one or two lines and actions taken from the original
Change Number 1: I will be basing this more off of the Rosario Vampire manga rather then the anime as i feel the manga is the superior version of the story. That and the anime sucks. I defended it in the past but I now acknowledge its faults and understand as to why people prefer to base their stories off the manga.
Change Number 2: The "spanking scenes" will also be removed. So for those who are into that sort of thing, look somewhere else.
Change number 3: No Author's notes in the middle of the story. Enough said.
Change Number 4: (the most important one of all) NO TSUKUNE! (Confetti comes out and party music plays in the background) Yes the literal worst harem protagonist ever will not be in this fanfic and most of his scenes will be taken over by Maka.
The Soul Eater side of things will be from the Soul Eater anime though, with one or two references to the manga, so Crona's not stuck on the moon, there's no "madness of boobs", and Death is still alive (ironically). The only thing carrying over from the manga is that the DWMA and the witches have made peace, though a certain someone will be misinformed. I'm using the anime and not the manga because it's easier and there's already enough fan service in RV as it is we don't need any madness of boobs. Though if i was using the RV anime for reference that would explain the obsession with with boobs in that show.
Anyways, why did I decide to do this? Well since we are on the day of spooks, scares, and frights, I figured why not do a crossover Yuri fanfic based on a terrible harem anime that was based on a decent harem manga... to which the manga will be used as it's source so I don't know why I said that, crossing over with an anime that has the most underrated and most over hated anime only ending, (Controversial opinion, the anime's ending is better then the manga's ending) that just feel right for Halloween. I mean Rosario has Vampires, Bats, Werevolves, and other monsters, and Soul Eater's art style itself is suited for Halloween ANYWAY! There's nothing left to say so LET'S GO SOUL RESONANCE!
PS: I will go into more detail as to why I prefer the Soul Eater anime's ending over the manga's ending at a later date.

Maka sighed as she stared out the window of the bus. She watched as the DWMA, and subsequently her home and Death City, got farther and farther away. Already she was beginning to miss her friends. Soul and Crona especially.
It was hard for her to say goodbye to everyone, but for her to continue her to complete her task given by Lord Death, she had to.
Maka sighed again, thinking back to how she got roped into transferring in the first place.
(1 Day Earlier)
It had two years since Maka had defeated the Kishin named Asura. From that day she had been declared a hero by many of the students of the academy. While Maka had, at first, liked the attention. It soon started to get old, and what became flattery, was soon turned to annoyance, and later indifference.
After two years though, the hype had began to die down, much to Maka's delight. In those two years though, the DWMA had made piece with the witches and no longer hunted them down. To make sure another Asura incident never happened again, only Kishin eggs and other monstrous threats were to be hunted down from then on.
After class had finished, Maka was in conversation with her friends, Tsubaki and Crona. Soul and Black Star had already left for lunch, with the trio not too far behind.
The two had been worried for Maka since the injures she sustained during her fight with Asura, one of which being him crushing her ribs, hadn't fully healed, not even in the two year time gap. Maka had assured them that she was alright, and she was still capable of fighting just fine despite the injury.
As the conversation went on, a speaker went off.
"Maka Albarn, please report to the Death Room immediately." It said.
The Trio took notice that it only called for Maka, and not Soul.
"I wonder why it only called for you Maka." Tsubaki said.
"M-maybe it a-another medical check up." Crona stuttered.
Ragnarok had popped out of Crona's back and started punching him with his small arms.
"You idiot!" He shouted as he kept punching and pulling Crona's hair, "if it was for that reason they would've called her to the nurses office you dumbass!"
MAKA CHOP!
"OW OW OW OW OW OW! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?" He shouted.
"Stop picking on Crona, and maybe I wouldn't have to keep chopping you. Seriously, after two years and you still haven't learned." Maka said sternly at Ragnarok while holding a book in her hand.
"Regardless, I hope it isn't too serious Maka." Tsubaki said worriedly.
"It'll be fine guys. It's probably just my dad wanting to see me again. I'll see you guys later." Maka said as she waved them goodbye, as Tsubaki and Crona followed after Black Star and Soul to lunch.
Maka made it to the Death Room and was treated with a familiar sight.
"HIYA HIYA MAKA~!" Death said in a goofy tone.
"Hello Lord Death, what's the problem?" Maka asked. She looked around, "Where's my dad?"
"Ah yes," he said as he cleared his throat, "I sent him and Stein to run an errand for me. Anyways, you're probably wondering why I had called you here alone without Soul."
Maka nodded.
"Well that's because this is something that only you can do on your own."
Maka looked at him confused. "On my own? What do you mean?"
"Maka, I regret to inform you but, for this task you need to transfer to another school in Japan."
Maka looked at him shocked. "WHAT!? What do you mean transfer!? Why do I need to transfer?! Are my grades slipping? Is it my injury? Has Soul done something stupid again?"
"Calm down Maka it isn't any of those things I assure you."
"Then why am I being transferred Lord Death?"
"I need you to go there to ensure the students don't fall under the influence of the lingering madness. Asura may have been defeated, but his madness is still all over the world. And the students are... shall we say, special circumstances."
"What do you mean by, "special circumstances"?" Maka asked.
"It's a school solely for monsters where humans aren't allowed. And since you're part demon weapon, you're sure to fit in."
"But why me? Why not send someone else?" Maka asked.
"Well I had thought about sending Crona, but I wasn't too sure if he could deal with it on his own. And they're only accepting one transfer student this year, so I can't send any paired students either. I thought I could get away with it with sending Crona since Ragnarok is part of him and as such they would count as one student, but like I said since he wouldn't be able to deal with it alone, I'll be sending you instead."
"But why not send any other student like Kim, Jackie, Ox, or anyone else?"
"Because you're a special case Maka," the goofy reaper continued. "None of the other meisters or weapons can really do much on their own. However since you're half human AND weapon. That means that your powers alone are enough to help you out of any jam without a weapon. You understand don't you?"
"I... I see sir." Maka said with her head hung low.
Death put a hand on her shoulder, "I understand you want to see your friends more, but this is a very important task for you, and you alone. You understand right?"
Maka nodded.
"I'll give one day to pack your things and be with your friends for a little while. Afterwards though, You'll need to be at the bus stop. Oh and one more thing."
Maka looked up.
"It would be much preferred if you try to keep your half human identity a secret."
"Why's that?" Maka asked.
"Well, as I stated before, humans are not allowed. But what I failed to mention is that, if they found out you were half human. They will kill you."
"... huh?" Maka said as her eyes became dotted, her body turned white, and a bead of sweat went down her head.
"Yes, unfortunately. Only the headmaster of the school knows as I have informed him and he is making an exception for you because you defeated Asura. No one else, not even the students or teachers, are aware of that exploit however, so please be sure to keep your identity hidden. It would pain me and your friends severely if you were killed there. Try to be careful is what I am saying."
"Yes Lord Death."
"Very good. You may leave now Maka."
Maka bowed and left the death room.
After school had finished she informed everyone that she would be transferred to a school for monsters in Japan. They took it well.
"WHAT!?"
Of course they didn't take it well.
"What do you mean transfer!?" Soul shouted.
"Exactly what I mean Soul." Maka said
"They can't just send our Maka away to some other school with monsters. Who knows what they'll do to her!?" Black Star shouted.
"I don't like it either Black Star but this is something I have to do on my own." She said calming everyone down.
Everyone sat in silence. The atmosphere had suddenly gotten thin as they all sat around in silence.
It felt like hours before someone finally spoke up. "Hey Maka." Soul said.
"Was is it Soul?"
"Remember when you and I went on that mission when we tried to hunt down Blair?"
"Oh yeah I remember. That was after we killed Jack the Ripper."
"Yeah, and when we went after Blair I fell on her while she was in the bath?"
"And then I kicked you in the face thinking you were just being a pervert." Maka giggled at the memory. "Man, I did not go easy on you back then huh?"
"No kidding, you kept accusing me of knowingly getting in the bath with her just cause I was a pervert. You said it was "Girls intuition right"?"
"Hey I was still going through allot of stuff back then. Let's not forget you aren't innocent in this either Soul. You tricked me into thinking you were gonna stay with Blair. You even dropped me from the roof we were hanging on."
"Hey I was only doing that because to throw Blair off guard and taken her by surprise. With your "Girl intuition" I thought you would've picked up on it. And that stupid crap you were spouting about men."
"Oh please don't remind me."
"What does he mean Maka?" Tsubaki asked.
"Oh you wanna know? She kept crying about how "All men are terrible because her dad kept cheating on his wife."" Soul replied mockingly.
"Jeez, I felt so stupid saying that after you revealed it was just a trick. In my humble defense however, you kinda put me on the spot Soul. Like seriously, saying that you're gonna leave your partner for a hotter chick isn't really something you would do if you were a reputable member of your community." Maka said laughing a bit.
"Hey like I said, you were all about your "Woman's intuition" that I thought you would've figured it out already. Not that it really matters, we still won that day."
"Yeah but you're kinda forgetting the fact that she wasn't really a witch so all of our Kishin souls had to be confiscated bringing us back to square one."
"Hey it ain't my fault that stupid sexy cat dresses like a witch. Besides you had soul perception, you could've figured it out by reading her soul."
"Yeah, I guess I really did screw the pooch there didn't I?" Maka said a bit embarrassed. Both she and Soul looked at each other and then started laughing.
"Wait that really happened?" Liz asked.
"Yeah, it's kinda the reason why Blair lives with us now."
"That ain't nothin'!" Black Star shouted, "Tsubaki remember when we fought that guy with all the swords? His name was Mifune right?"
"Yes it was Black Star. But that was after you announced to Al Capone who you were and gave away our location."
"How were they supposed to know who I was? I gotta leave an impression."
"That kind of misses the point in being an assassin Black Star."
"I've been meaning to ask, exactly what did happened on that mission Tsubaki?" Maka asked.
"Black Star flung himself into the room and used me like a microphone to announce who he was giving away our location and had both of us shot by Al Capone."
"Hey a big guy like me deserves to be noticed." Black Star laughed aloud.
Tsubaki sighed "There really Isn't much else to say afterwards. We fought Mifune and Black Star defeated him, Angela came and Black Star didn't want to take her soul."
"Hey she was a little kid, there's no way a big man like me would kill a little kid like her."
The conversations continued, with Liz and Patty talking about their adventure with Kid in the Pyramid of Anubis him abandon the girls to fend for themselves just so he could check to see if a painting of his wasn't crooked. As well the two being tied up in a... shall we say very explicit manner.
Everyone went into more stories of their adventures, from fighting with Zombie Sid and professor Stein, to Kid and Black Star finding Exacalibur, only for them to immediately put him back because of how annoying he was, Soul getting injured from his fight with Crona, Crona becoming friends with Maka, Crona's betrayal (much to his regret), and finally them defeating both Medusa and Asura.
After everyone shared their stories and laughs, they all fell silent again.
"We sure have been through allot haven't we?" Soul said.
"Yeah, we have." Maka said smiling weakly.
"So what now? You leave tomorrow don't you?" Tsubaki asked
"Yeah." Maka nodded.
"How about a party at our place?" Liz asked.
"Yeah it can be a like a going away party." Tstubaki said.
"Oh no I wouldn't want to intrude." Maka said
"Don't worry about it Maka. As long as none of you touch any of my things I am perfectly fine with it." Kid said
"Yeah don't worry about it Maka. This is for you." Liz reassured.
"YAY A PARTY AT OUR PLACE!" Patty said cheerfully.
"Let's make this the best going away party ever! YAHOO!" Black Star shouted.
"Guess there's no stopping them Maka." Soul said smiling.
"Yeah I guess you're right." Maka said as she laughed a little.
"Well Maka, how about we get this party started then."
"You got it Soul." she said as she gave him a high five.
This will be the last time she sees her friends for a long time. And they were gonna make it a night to remember.
(1 day later)
After the party, Maka had packed her things and went to the bus stop, with everyone following to see her off.
"I'm really gonna mis you guys. Honest. Crona, will you be ok without me?" Maka said. The pink haired boy giving her a sad look trying his hardest not to cry.
"I-I'm not sure how I-I'll be able to deal with you g-gone, *sniff*, but I-I'll try." He said, as Maka smiled and hugged him as he hugged her back tightly. "I-I'm gonna m-miss you, Maka." He stuttered as he hugged her tighter. "I'll miss you too Crona." Maka said smiling as she let go.
"Ragnarok, try not to pick on Crona while I'm gone." she said sternly.
"I make no promises."
"Do you want a Maka chop?"
"AH! Well in that case good riddance to you Maka!" Ragnarok said crossing his small arms.
Maka snikered, "I'll miss you too Ragnarok." She said to the small blob. Ragnarok didn't want to admit it, but he really was gonna miss her.
"Hey Maka, here." Black Star said giving her a piece of paper. "What's this?" Maka said as she looked at it. She opened the fold of paper and saw Black Stars name and insignia. "It's *sniff* my autograph." He said as he started to cry. "For whenever you're thinking of me." He said as he started crying cartoonishly.
Maka laughed nervously as she sweat dropped form her head, "Uh, thanks Black Star." She said as she and Black Star fist bumped after he had calmed down.
"You have all of my support Maka. Please be careful while you're there." Tsubaki said.
"We wish you the best of luck Maka." Patty said cheerfully. "Yeah keep in touch whenever you can ok?" Liz said trying not to cry.
"Thanks you guys."
"If there are any asymmetrical monsters there, make them suffer." Said Kid seriously.
"Uh, sure. I will don't worry Kid." She said laughing nervously while sweat dropping again.
Soul then stepped up with his hands in his pockets. He then reached his hand out for a high five. Maka took the sign and gave him the high five. But as soon as her hand got into Soul's grip, he pulled her in for a hug.
"Soul?" Maka said while he hugged her tightly.
"Be careful out there Maka." Was all he said.
Maka smiled and hugged him back. "Thanks Soul. You're the best partner a girl like me could ever have." She said as they let go.
The bus soon arrived and the door opened, revealing a man with his face shadowed and his eyes glowing white.
"All aboard." He said.
Maka grabbed her stuff and walked to the bus. "Well, I guess this is it guys. See you all next Summer."
"Group hug!" Patty Shouted and she hugged Maka, as did everyone else. Maka hugged back happily.
After she let go, she walked into the bus, and sat down, waving goodbye from the window with everyone else doing the same.
She then heard a VERY familiar voice.
"MAKAAAA! SWEETHEART! WAIT UP! YOU FORGOT TO HUG DADDY GOODBYE!" Spirit shouted with tears pouring out his eyes running towards the bus... causing Maka to shut the window immediately.
(Present day)
Maka smiled at the memory while still staring out the window.
"If you have any phone calls you'd like to make, you'd better make them now. Once we reach the area the school is at, the signal will be out and you won't be able to contact anyone until the semester is over." Said the bus driver, whom Maka just realized sounded allot like Professor Stein for some reason.
"Oh, no I'm good. I said all my goodbyes at the bus stop. Besides, I have alternate means of contacting my superior at least." Maka said as she pulled out a small mirror.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Well, you'd better keep that thing with you at all times then. The mirror's at the school aren't gonna do you any good. Monster mirrors aren't the same as regular mirrors"
Maka nodded as she put the mirror away.
After a while, Maka fell asleep while on the bus. After about an hour or so, the bus driver spoke. "Hey girl, wake up. We're reaching a tunnel, we're almost at our stop."
Maka yawned and rubbed her eyes and began to see rainbow colored streaks all over the inside of the tunnel.
"I wouldn't worry about the lights. We're just going through the barrier."
"Barrier?" Maka asked.
"Yes. To keep humans out this barrier was formed. You'll learn more when you get to class. The academy is on the other side." He explained.
After the psychedelic scene ended, she was greeted with the morning sun, meaning they were close.
The bus soon came to a stop. "This is our stop. All passengers please exit the bus."
Maka soon grabbed her things and got off the bus. "Good luck. You seem like a smart girl, but let me tell you, smart won't do you much good here." The bus driver warned.
"Thanks for the warning, I heard the gist from Lord Death. I'll be careful though." she said.
"Ok then, good luck, girl." the bus driver said as Maka soon got off the bus. The bus driver closed the door and soon drove off.
Maka took the time to look at her surroundings. Most of the environment was completely desolate and barren. The only kind of vegetation around was scraggly trees and some moss that grew on them. The shy was foreboding, offering no comfort. Even for Maka who took on monstrous threats on a daily basis, AND lived in a world where the moon and the sun had devilish grins on their faces and laughing. Another terrifying thing in the scenery was the almost obscene amount of tombstones that were littering the grounds.
'I guess this school REALLY likes playing up it's monster theme huh?' Maka thought to herself. 'Then again, this looks tame compared to the DWMA.'
While she walking through the forest she heard a noise, causing her bring out her arm blades. After a while, she dismissed it, withdrew the blades and continued walking. Right as she grabbed her luggage though.
"Watch out!" Maka turned to see a girl on a bike coming straight for her. She was about to move out of way.
CRASH!
But it was too late as the girl crashed right into her. Throwing them both on the ground.
"Ow... that hurt" the girl groaned. She soon found herself lying on top of Maka. She managed to get up seeing Maka on the ground with spirals in her eyes. "Oh my goodness I'm so sorry." She apologized.
"It's fine, I've taken damage worse then that.. why is the world spinning?" Maka said as she still felt dizzy as she started getting up.
"Wait, hold on! You shouldn't be mowing so fast." The girl warned holding Maka steady.
"I really am sorry for crashing into you. I got dizzy all of a sudden and lost control of where I was going." she explained.
"It's ok, really I'm fine." Maka said ensuring the girl. After getting a good look at her, Maka fully saw what the girl looked like. She had long pink hair, a choker with a cross hanging from it, and worn what appeared to be the uniform for this school. Maka remembered that she was given her own uniform, but Maka had decided to ditch the green jacket and just wear her sweater vest over the white shirt and neck tie, as well as her black trench coat and gloves, and her black boots. She had decided to wear the skirt though.
Maka noticed something else about this girl... she was very cute.
The girl then noticed some blood dripping on Maka's head.
"Oh, you're bleeding!" The girl said as she pulled out a handkerchief to wipe the blood off. Until...
"That... smell..." the girl said.
"Smell?" Maka smelled herself to check if she had stunk. It had donned on her that she didn't take a shower, so she had hoped it wasn't possibly any BO that was on her.
"I... I'm so sorry for this but..." The girl then revealed her fangs and bit Maka's neck.
Maka was stunned at this display and her body turned white for a second from the shock, her face turning red from the massive blush on her face.
The girl soon pulled away and bowed, "I'm deeply sorry for that. I smelled your blood and i just couldn't control myself. You see, I'm a vampire. You, don't hate vampires do you?"
"Well... I've never met a vampire before. I've met a werewolf, a snake woman, and my teacher from my old school has a screw in his head. But I've never really met a vampire so, if they're as nice as you are, I guess they're ok with me. Why did I have to say that? Now meaner vampires are gonna come after me I just know it." Maka thought to herself, holding her neck.
"That's great! If you're ok with me, will you please be my friend?"
"Sure, it'll be great to have some friends since I won't know anyone here." Maka said smiling. "It's my first year at Yokai Academy."
"Oh really? I had no idea, It's my first year too. Oh how rude of me, I never introduced myself. My name is Moka Akashiya." Moka introduced herself smiling
"I'm Maka Albarn, it's nice to meet you." Maka did the same smiling back.
"Wow, our names are allot alike. They're just one letter away from being the same name. I'll see you at school Maka. Goodbye for now!" Moka said running off waving at her.
Maka waved back. "She seems nice." Maka then held her neck again. "Maybe a little too nice. But I'm sure we'll work it out."
Maka headed straight for the school. Well, wasn't entirely accurate to call it a school, more like a castle or a mansion. "Ok I take it back, this place definitely makes the DWMA look tame." She said as lightening struck at the school.
After the entrance ceremony, Maka had given her belongings to some dorm movers, who had been sent by headmaster at Lord Death's request.
Afterwards Maka went to her home room class and took a seat near the window.
The teacher soon walked in, with hair that looked like cat ears. Maka took a quick look at her soul which kind of reminded her of Patty's. A hot pink-ditzy, but well meaning and good natured soul. This reminded her that she never got a look at Moka's soul, she'd have to check if she met her again.
"Hello everyone and welcome to Yokai Academy! I am your home room teacher, Shizuka Nekonome. Since we have a few new students here, I'll repeat some information to catch them put to speed. This is a school built for the sake of monsters to attend." She said. "Our current problem is that the earth has already come under the control of the humans! In order for us monsters to continue to survive, we have to peacefully coexist with them." The teacher said happily as Maka started taking notes.
"At this Academy, you will be studying "How to coexist with humans"! So for that reason, as a school rule. You will all live your lives at this academy in Human Form! Do you understand? It's a matter of being able to disguise yourself well as a human! This is the foundation of coexistence. You are never to allow any of your fellow students to know your 'true form' understand!?"
Maka continued writing notes on the lecture so she could keep this all to memory. She had just finished writing down when she heard a boy scoff right beside her.
"Bunch of boring rules." He said, leaning back looking like he didn't care about anything. Something about him got on Maka's nerves, and after a quick read of his soul, she began to understand why.
"And you are... Ah! Saizou Komiya correct!?" The teacher said.
"Yeah, anyway, would it not be better for us to eat up those puny humans? And in the case of the beautiful girls, better to molest them?" Saizou said, causing Maka to crush her pen, scowling and ready to either chop him or slice him up with her scythe blades.
"Oh! Incidentally, here at youkai academy, the teachers and students are allll monsters, so there's very little chance of that happening. You see, this school is enclosed in a giant barrier. Or in other words, a secret sacred world!" To those humans who come to know of our existence, they would be killed immediately!" She said happily.
"Can I still molest them though?" Saizou asked nonchalantly.
"Ok you are getting on my LAST nerve with that molesting thing!" Maka shouted at Saizou.
"Hey, they're weak babe. They deserve it." He slyly said.
"DON'T CALL ME BABE!" Maka shouted as her head got big and her teeth got sharp. Saizou then sniffed Maka. "Oh, so you're what smelled li a human." He said in a cocky manner, causing Maka to tighten her fist around her pen even more nearly crushing it in her grasp.
Just as she was gonna loose her tempter and slice him up with her blades, the door opened to reveal a familiar face.
"Sorry I'm late... After the entrance ceremony I kinda got lost in the school..." she said.
"Oh, thats ok, just take a seat." The teacher said.
"Ok." The girl said revealing to be Moka.
"Oh I almost forgot." She bowed, "I'm Moka Akashiya!" She said happily, giving off an aura of beauty that had all the boys head over heals for her.
Many of them started talking and gossiping as she walked to her seat.
"Who is she?"
"Such flowing hair! And big eyes!"
"Whoa beautiful!"
"Even if it's just her transformation, there isn't anyone who could transform into such a beautiful girl."
"Hot! She's too hot!"
"I'm so happy to be in the same place as this girl!"
As she got to her seat, she noticed Maka, and vice versa.
"Maka is that you?" She said
"Yeah." Maka replied.
Moka then hugged Maka tightly. "Ok Maka I'm so glad we're in the same class!"
"Ack! It's good… ack…. to see you too, Moka." Maka said as she tried to get some air from the bone crushing hug.
Saizou looked at the two and licked his lips.
The two girls walked around the school together. They both went to the vending machine and got a drink, but when they reached in, their hands accidentally touched causing the two to blush.
"S-sorry." Maka said blushing. 'What was that all about? All I did was touch her hand. Why did I get all flustered all of a sudden?' She thought to herself.
Moka giggled, then stood up. "You're so silly!" She said giving Maka a playful push, which accidentally sent her flying towards a nearby pillar, which Maka managed to stop herself with her elbows, to which Moka could've sworn she saw blades, but had disappeared leaving Moka curious.
"Sorry about that Maka" Moka said laughing nervously, "I guess I don't know my own strength."
"Oh no, it's ok Moka." Maka said, pushing herself out of the pillar, dusting herself off, thanking the gods that for her demon weapon half. As Maka was walking back to Moka, she felt a strange presence. A very familiar nasty presence that she had felt in the classroom.
"Well, well, well, two sexy ladies sitting here. Remember me? I'm your classmate Saizou Komiya! Salutations!" Saizou said. "How about we all get together for some fun."
"Leave us the hell alone!" Maka said enraged, getting in front of Moka, guarding her.
"What's wrong Maka?" Moka asked, concerned.
"Right before you came in, he made a bunch of comments about eating humans and molesting women!" Maka growled.
"Are you serious?" Moka gasped and glared at Saizou, "well in that case you can forget it! I'm having fun with Maka now!" She said grabbing onto to Maka, "So go have fun on your own. Come on Maka let's go somewhere else." Moka said, letting Maka go and walking away.
"Right." Maka replied, walking away with Moka, Saizou glaring at them both as they did so. "Hmpf, just watch me. I'll never allow a nice woman like you to escape..."
"That was surprising wasn't it? I got a little scared." She looked at Maka, who was fuming with rage. "Are you feeling ok Maka?" Moka asked concerned.
"I'd love to kick that bastards ass right now." Maka said still angry and started venting to calm down, even kicking the wall for a second and continued walking with Moka.
Moka frowned when she saw Maka angry. She didn't want to see her new friend angry like this. Then an idea popped in her head. "Hey I have an idea!" she said cupping the shorter girl's hands into hers. "How about you and I check out the the academy together. It'll be fun!" Moka said in a cheery mood causing Maka to blush slightly.
"S-sure," Maka stuttered, "It could help get my mind off things."
Moka smiled and took Maka's hand and the two began to explore the school, seeing things like gargoyle statues, art rooms, getting another drink from the vending machine, and all around just enjoying each other's company.
'You know, maybe this wont be so bad after all,' Maka thought to herself, 'This feels nice.' She looked at Moka laughing and smiling. 'Man, it feels like I'm on a date with her. I feel sort of giddy about all this."
"Look Maka! This is the school dorm we'll be living in!" Moka pointed out to Maka.
Maka sweat dropped as she saw what the building looked like. It looked more like an old abandoned hotel that no one inhabited for years then a school dorm.
"So cool~ Such a building full of dignity and character." Moka said smiling.
"I think you and I have different tastes in how dorm rooms should look Moka." Maka said, sweat dropping again.
"You don't like it even though you're a monster yourself Maka?" Moka asked. "Oh, speaking of which, what kind of monster are you?"
"O-oh, well uh," Maka stuttered remembering Lord Death's words "If they find out you're half human. They will kill you."
"Oh... letting your true form out is against the rules isn't it!? Sorry, I didn't mean to ask that question." Moka said smiling.
"Well, you revealed you were a vampire Moka." Maka said.
"Yeah but that was before I found out it was against the rules."
Maka smiled at her, "You know, I thought vampires were supposed to be scary. Come to think of it, I can't really see you as anything except a normal human Moka. Are you really a vampire? You just seem allot different from the movies and books I used to look at when I was a kid."
"Yeah, movies and books tend to over exaggerate what vampires are like, sometimes anyway." she said. "As you may have noticed, I'm not getting burned by sunlight, and I can enter any area I want without needing to be invited first."
"Huh, now that you mention it, I have noticed the lack of burning Vampire in the air." Maka said jokingly.
Moka laughed at the joke. "Yeah, that's right."
They both then laughed together.
Afterwards Moka went back to her point. "Anyways, right now I look pretty human, but..." Moka started as she pointed to the Rosario on her choker.
"Y'see, if I take this Rosario off my chest, I become the real thing, an evil and scaaaaary VAMPIRE." Moka said in a semi creepy way to scare Maka a little.
'Rosario?'
"Rosario's have the effect of sealing off a vampire's power since, in my original form, I was hated and caused conflict. I put in this Rosario on myself so I'd keep my vampire powers sealed."
'Seriously? Even though Moka looks cute and gentle... oh wait that reminds me.'
Maka then used Soul Perception on Moka to take a peak at her soul. What showed was a soul colored white, representing Moka's purity and kindness. It reminded her allot of her friend Tsubaki. She also noticed the soul had round pink eyes and cute little bat wings. As Maka looked more she felt semblances of another soul that she couldn't quite make out yet.
'Could that be her true power I'm feeling?' Maka thought to herself.
Moka got closer to Maka, causing her to blush a little. "Oh but if our power is sealed, we do end up craving blood."
She then bit Maka's neck, "My weakness~." She said causing Maka to turn white again. 'Why me?~' Maka whined to herself.
After Moka let go of Maka her face turned a little gloomy.
"What's wrong Moka?" Maka asked putting her hand on her neck to get some blood off.
"It's nothing. I'm just glad we're not in a human school." She said.
"Why's that?"
"I just... I hate humans." Moka said, no longer sounding happy and innocent, but slightly annoyed and offended.
"What?" Maka said shocked and equally offended. Earlier she thought Moka was standing up for both humans and not JUST girls.
"Yeah... I... I actually went to a human school up through middle school." Moka explained as she flashed back to her younger self in a black school uniform and her hair tied in a ponytail with manifestations of other kids laughing at her.
"I was isolated..." she continued
"Hey it's that weird girl."
"She says she's a vampire, so weird."
"Yeah, let's stay away from her."
"None of the humans believed in monsters, so I started thinking I was weird. That I was different from everyone that it'd be better if I wasn't there. That it'd be better if I Disappeared."
Moka smiled at Maka, "But... you said I was all right even though you found out I'm a Vampire and so... This is the first time in my life that I haven't felt alone!" She said in a cheery tone.
Maka understood her pain, she remembered how her friend, Kim Diehl, felt when they pretty much abandoned her once upon a time. But still, she decided to test something.
"Moka..." She began.
'I'm sorry Lord Death, but I'm gonna have to break that rule of yours.'
"What if I told you that I was half human? If part of me was one of those humans that you hate?..." Maka asked.
Moka looked at her new friend with her eyes widened and her face in shock. "What?!" She shouted in disbelief. "No!... There's no way you could be part human."
"... I guess that says all I need it to Moka." Maka said solemnly with her head hung low and her hair's shadow covering her eyes turning away from Moka. "That look on your face said it all. I guess we can't be friends after all."
"Maka... w-what do you mean?" Moka asked stuttering.
"Exactly what I mean Moka. You see, I'm actually half human. And If you can't accept me for what I am because of my mother..." Maka clenched her hands into fists. "Then we'll NEVER be friends!"
"B..but Maka, I.." Moka said stuttering.
"No Moka!" Maka shouted, making Moka jolt a little. "I was a fool to think I could ever be friends to a monster like YOU!" Maka shouted as she ran away from the shocked vampire in defense of her beloved mother, and her heritage as a whole. With tears pouring out her eyes as she ran.
Moka didn't even try to run after her. She had lost the only friend she had ever had.
Moka kicked a stone. "No way... No." She said solemnly. "Even though I finally made a friend." She said as she started tearing up. "Even though it was the first time in my life, I thought I had a friend." More tears began flooding out her eyes as she clutched her heart. The words Maka had said pierced through it like a spear.
Not just that, she also knew how much having a mother meant to her. Moka decided to go after her and apologize, hopefully regaining their friendship. Just before she could though, she heard a familiar sinister voice right behind her.
"Hey! Why is it that you're so alone!? Hm!?" Moka turned around and saw Saizou standing right behind her.
"S-Saizou!"
"You shouldn't be lonely Moka, when you can be with a man like me..." He said slyly as he licked his lips.
Moka slapped Saizou's hand away from her. When she looked at him again, he had a terrifying grin on his face and started to change his form.
"Mwahahaha... I am serious." He said as he began to change. "Your Beauty is incomparable to any one of those puny humans I have molested!" Moka gasped in shock and stared at him in horror. "I want you in all seriousness MOKA AKASHIYA!
Moka looked at him horrified, "Sai... Saizou?" She barely said seeing his more monstrous appearance.
"AARRRGH OHHH CAN'T STOP MYSELF LIKE THIS, MY BODY STARTS TO ACHE. WHEN I COME TO THIS POINT THERE IS NO STOPPING ME... I JUST CAN'T STAY IN HUMAN FORM ANYMORE."
He started to walk forward his stomps shaking the ground
"N... No someone, please help..." Moka said, backing away slowly.
Maka had stopped by a tree, catching her breath. She clenched her fist hard on the tree. "Damn it." She said to herself. "I got taken away from my friends at home, just to be heart broken by some vampire girl who hates humans?"
She then noticed more tears pouring out her eyes. "Damn it! Why are am I crying?" She said, wiping the tears off her face, but they still continued pouring.
She then sat down her back leaning on the tree. "This is the first time in my life I truly felt… alone." She said to herself. "Why did I have to be the one to be sent here Lord Death? Why did I have to be taken away from my friends just for this?" She pulled her legs up and rested her chin on her knees while hugging her legs.
"I might as well just leave. I'm sorry I couldn't do this task you Lord Death. I guess I'm just not cut out for solo jobs." She said to herself.
She reached into her pocket to pull out the small mirror to call Lord Death. Just as she was about to breath on it though.
KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Maka snapped out of her thoughts after hearing a loud shriek and immediately turned to see the direction the scream came from.
"That sounded like..." She started as sweat dripped from her face as she winded her eyes in horror. "Moka..."
She stood up and was about to run, but stopped herself, shaking in place.
She tried moving again, but paused again. "Why am I hesitating? She's my friend isn't she? But, she hates humans. And all the things I said to her. Damn it! What do I do?!" Maka frizzled her hair in frustration. She couldn't bring herself to face Moka again, after the nasty things she said to her.
Saizou got closer, and closer to Moka.
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HAH! I'M GOING TO ENJOY THIS LITTLE VIOLATION OF THE SCHOOL RULES." He said maliciously as he got closer to her and brought his long tongue out to wrap around her, with Moka shaking in fear and disgust.
'Maka...' Moka thought to herself. 'I wish I could've apologized to you sooner. I'm so stupid. I wish I hadn't said anything about my hatred for humans. I'm such an idiot. And now, I won't get to know you more. I won't be able to be your friend for real…. I'm sorry Maka.' Moka had given up on all hope, she drove away her only friend, and now she was paying the price for it.
"MOKA!"
Or so she thought as she heard a familiar voice call out her name.
Saizou look around, wondering where the noise came from.
SHING
Another noise and then Saizou's back started bursting with blood.
"GAAHHH! WHAT THE HELL!? THAT HURT! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?"
"MA... MAKA!"
Right in front of her was Maka, crouching on one knee, the other bent, and her left arm brought across her body with a long blade coming out the end of it.
Maka slowly stood up looking at Moka with fire in her eyes.
"Why?" Moka asked "Why did you come back!?"
"Because my friend was in danger and I came back to protect her." Maka said, causing Moka to look at her with shock.
Saizou soon got up, his injury healing. "DAMN YOU! YOU LITTLE BITCH!"
Maka turned around to face him, giving him a similar glare she gave to Asura during her fight with him. "Stay here Moka. I'll deal with this bastard."
Maka rushed towards Saizou as more blades came out from hands. Saizou threw his enough as fist at Maka, with Maka cutting hand with her blades with a deadly combo and blinding speed. She was able to dodge all of his punches, before retaliating with slices from her scythe blades. He rushed towards her and Maka ran with her arms behind her towards the trees, using the limited space and her small size to her advantage.
"HOLD STILL DAMN IT!" He shouted as he kept trying to punch on her the trees, but they kept getting his way. Her small size not making anything easier as she managed to keep cutting him up again and again.
Once Maka landed on the ground she felt a small pain in her side, causing her to grab onto it. 'Just, ignore the pain.' She said to herself.
Saizou however took notice. 'SO SHE'S INJURED THERE.' He thought to himself as he smiles maliciously. 'I JUST HAVE TO GET HER WHILE HER GUARD IS DOWN'
He slammed his fists down causing Maka to jump into the air. More blade came out of her back and her shoulder, using the tree to launch herself to him to land the finishing blow. She had him for sure.
"Maka!" Until she was distracted by Moka shouting her name when she followed after the two during the fight.
Saizou Grinned, "GOTCHA NOW!" Saizou punched her side where her ribs were. The very same ribs Asura crushed two years ago, sending her flying towards Moka, sending them to crashing to a tree, causing Maka to cough out blood on impact, making her scythe blades disappear.
Moka got on her feet and helped and tried to help Maka back back up. "Moka..." Maka groaned, "get out of here..."
"No!" She cried "I'm not leaving you!"
"Go!... I don't want you getting hurt!" Maka said as she got up only for her to stumble back down on the ground coughing out more blood and holding her side.
Moka saw how Maka clutched her ribs. "You're injured badly there aren't you?"
"It's an old injury I haven't quite recovered from. I Guess he used that to his advantage. Kinda pathetic right?" Maka said as she snickered a little trying to hide the pain.
"No it isn't Maka! I'm the pathetic one here. Even though you came all the way back for me, this happened..."
"Moka.."
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry for everything I said." Moka sobbed "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or disrespect your mother. Because I'm a vampire I suck blood of humans and just end up hurting people. The truth is... the truth is the whole time... I just felt like I wanted to make a friend. Even if it was just at a human school. But I guess it's impossible, since I'd do nothing but hurt you as well." Moka said as she continued sobbing.
"No Moka, It's alright. I overreacted. If anything, I'm the one who should be sorry for running off. And even saying those nasty things to you. I realized, It wasn't right running away and parting with you like that..."
Moka's eyes widened.
"Because I... want to be your friend Moka. Even if you're a vampire, I like you Moka." Maka said smiling weakly, tears streaming down Moka's face.
"AW, HOW SWEET," Saizou said mockingly, "IT LOOKS I'M GONNA HAVE TO KILL YOU BOTH. WHAT A WASTE THOUGH. I WANTED TO HAVE ONE GO AT ONE OF YOU GIRLS BEFORE I HAD TO KILL YOU. AH WELL. I'LL HAVE BETTER LUCK WITH SOME OTHER CHICK."
Maka stood up again in anger reached up for something to support her, when her hand grabbed onto Moka's Rosario. With and accidental tug, she pulled it off of her.
"Huh?" Maka said looking at the Rosario in her hand.
"My Rosario..." Moka said in shock as her entire body became enveloped in light. While Maka couldn't see what was happening very well, she could sense it with her soul perception. The power she had hidden within her soul began moving like a river throughout her entire body. As Maka's eyes began to get accustomed to the light, she saw the sheer amount of power began to change, not only Moka's power, but her appearance as well.
Her Pink hair turned silver, her skin became paler, her nails became sharper, looking like they could cut through steal, and her fangs grew more pronounced.
Maka only stared in awe at Moka after her transformation. She look so much different then her initial appearance, looking much more... sensual then before. Exuding the kind of energy that would make men drop to their knees. But Maka felt the true danger underneath.
Maka then remembered back to what Moka had said before. "If I take this Rosario off, I became a scaaaary true vampire."
'Could... could this be?'
Saizou began shaking in fear by what he was seeing. "WH... WHAT IS SHE... TH... THIS OVERPOWERING SENSATION... SHE'S A DIFFERENT PERSON! THIS ISN'T MOKA AKASHIYA!"
Maka looked at her soul again and now saw a completely new one. The original Moka's soul was white, representing her pure and kind nature. The new Moka's soul was silver. Silver represented allot of things, but for the new Moka, it represented grace, and sophistication. Her also had more menacing bat wings on it and piercing red eyes, symbolizing ferocity.
'This is.. a true vampire."
"JUST LIKE THE LEGENDS, RED EYES! AND INTENSE SUPERNATURAL ENERGY. THIS IS... THIS IS AN S CLASS VAMPIRE!?"
"What's wrong orc...?" The new Moka said almost in a seductive tone "You... want me right? Just try and take me... by force." She said as she reached out "Won't you?"
The orc man rushed towards Moka to grab her "UUOOOOOOOOOO!"
Saizou gripped her in his enormous hand.
"Attacking me with just this degree of power." She said as if unimpressed.
'WH-WHY DOESN'T SHE DODGE?! WHY DOESN'T SHE EVEN BAT AN EYE!?' Saizou thought to himself.
Inner Moka gave Saizou a cold stare, "You had better, know your place." She said before releasing a powerful kick to the orc's face. Sending him flying to more trees.
"A low class monster like you who has nothing to show for his size, doesn't even make for a decent opponent in a contest of strength."
After just one powerful kick, the orc was finally down for the count. The orc that had caused Moka and Maka so much grief, was finally knocked out cold.
Maka stared in awe at the display, still clutching her side, struggling to stay standing. 'I... I don't believe it. She was able to send that guy flying with just one kick? Wh.. what kind of overwhelming power is this? She's a completely different person from the outer Moka.'
Inner Moka so turned and walked towards Maka, causing her to stiffen up and shake. The inner Moka then grabbed Maka under her arms and lifted her up into the air like a little girl, looking at her with curiosity. "So, you're part demon weapon right?"
"Y-yes ma'am." Maka said scared for her life. The energy this Moka showed was on par with Asura.
Inner Moka sighed and brought the smaller girl closer to her, causing Maka to blush. "...What's wrong? Are you scared? Of this me? It's alright, I'm not gonna hurt you. You risked your own life to save my other self even after she had disrespected your mother. Besides, you fought with amazing power. Not to mention you don't even have a full weapon form and yet you were still able to fight that monster as hard as you did. On top of being severely injured the whole time. You fight in close quarters, nice and personal. We vampires love that. A test of our strength. You'd make a great mate as far as I'm concerned."
"W-wait, do you..." Maka asked still shaking in fear while in Inner Moka's grip.
"Don't misunderstand me, I might coddle you like a princess every now and again, but that doesn't mean I'll fall head over heals for you. When you show me more power that can impress even me, then that is when I will reserve judgement. For now though, we'll keep in touch my dear." She then put Maka down, and then toke the Rosario away from her. "And your blood is very delicious to my sleeping self."
The inner Moka then placed the Rosario on the chain attacked to the choker around her neck. "Until we meet again dear, you had better look after my sentimental other side. I will show no mercy if you don't. Understand?" She said as she glared at Maka.
"Y-yes ma'am, I promise." Maka stuttered still frightened by the inner Moka's presence.
The Inner Moka smiled as a bright light began to flash causing the outer Moka to come back... and immediately fall on Maka, and since Maka didn't have the strength at the moment to even stay standing. They both ended up plummeting to the ground.
"Ack! Moka."
"Sorry Maka, I'm just... so tired... Being my Inner self... takes allot out... of me..." Moka said tiredly as she wrapped her arms around Maka's waist pulling her closer, hugging her tightly.
'And just like that, the curtain has now opened to my new, most likely bizarre, academy life..' Maka sighed to herself. She then looked upon the sleeping Moka, and smiled. She hugged Moka back tightly. 'But at least I won't be alone. After all, I've got a new friend to look after.'
The Next Day
"HIYA~ HIYA~! How are things going so far Maka?" Lord Death said on the mirror. Maka had used it to report to Lord Death on her progress at the school.
"Nothing much to report so far Lord Death. No one in the school seem to be influenced by the madness yet." Maka said.
"Splendid! Splendid! But be sure to keep your guard up. You never know when that could change Maka. What about you? Have you made any friends over there?" He asked.
"You could definitely say." Maka said, sweat dropping.
"Oh? Who are they?"
And, as if on cue. "Mornin Maka!" Moka shouted, picking Maka up, hugging her tightly. "Wat'cha doin!?"
"GAH!" Maka shouted, almost dropping the mirror she was holding.
"Oh sorry, did I startle you?" Moka asked. She then looked at the mirror Maka was holding. "Wat'cha got there?"
"Oh is this your new friend Maka?"
"Is that mirror talking?"
"Moka, this is the headmaster at my previous school. Lord Death, this is my new friend, Moka. She's a vampire."
"Really? Hi mister headmaster!" Moka waved.
"Why hello there miss Moka. I see you two are getting along nicely. It hasn't been a day and you two already seem pretty close."
"Yup! Maka and I are getting along great!" Moka said, squeezing Maka tightly, much to the poor girl's dismay.
"Ack! Moka you're crushing me!"
"Oops. Sorry Maka." Moka said, putting Maka down.
"It warms my heart to see two friend's getting along so well. Well, you should be going now Maka. Class will probably be starting soon and I do not wish to keep you two. I'll let the others know you are doing well."
"Thank you Lord Death. I'll be sure to contact you if anything cha-"
"MAKAAAAAAA! Is that you! How is my baby do-"
Maka immediately cut the fead after her father showed up.
Moka gave her a confused look. "That was my dad in case you were wondering." Maka said in a monotone manner.
"Ah I see." Moka said, sweat dropping. She then blushed a little fiddling with her fingers. "H-hey, Maka?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you… for yesterday."
Maka blushed a little, "No problem. That's what friends are for, right?"
"Right." Moka blushed some more. "Oh my… I don't know what it is, but."
"Hm?"
"When I'm with you, my heart feels like it's about to burst out of my chest." Moka said blushing more as she walked towards Maka, and then started to bare her fangs.
"Uhhh, Moka? What do you think you're doing?" Maka said backing away from the pink haired vampire.
"I'm sorry Maka but…. I wanna suck your blood!" Moka blurted out running towards Maka.
"NoooooOOOOOO!" Maka shouted.
"Oh please! Can I just have one drink!?" Moka shouted, chasing Maka into the school
"I rather my blood stay in my body!" Maka shouted running away.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND DONE! Sweet rosemary the first chapter is finally done... out of like 100... oh... oh!... OH!...
Anyways, like I said, I've been meaning to do this for a while now ever since I promised Sai that I would take the fanfic in and remake it. Now usually I prefer someone else take a crack at it since I get more mileage out of it if someone else did it, but honestly I really don't mind continuing this one, I think I might actually keep writing this one... Assuming I Don't quickly lose interest like some of my other fanfics.
As many of you can no doubt tell I changed allot from the original including allot of the more Pervy elements. And yes, I meant what I said, Tsukune will NOT be in this fanfic and his parts will be filled in by Maka. Which makes me wonder how I'll handle the stuff with Gin but we'll get to that when we get to that.
BTW, if allot of you were are wondering why I kinda just skimmed over everyone recapping events in the anime, it's because I felt that the Soul Eater stuff was long enough as is and I felt we really needed to get to the Rosario Vampire stuff already, and I didn't want it to drag on longer then it really needed to. I felt as though it was like "ok we get it, everyone's gonna miss Maka let's get to the actual story now."
Anyways that's all I have for you guys today. Updates on fanfics are slow I know, It's just that I haven't had the same drive as I used to when writing these, so hopefully I'll be able to write more for you guys.
