"Tiffany you're here!"
"Yeah, I'm here Tina, what's up?"
" Johnny and I have some news"
"Well, what is it? Are you engaged?"
"Nope even better! We are all going to Europe!"
Tiffany began to stir, she was lying down on something soft and was covered with some sort of blanket. She was conscious but her eyes were closed.
"So I'm ... dead? Is this heaven? Is this a cloud?"
Tiffany felt a tear run down her face, if she was in heaven she just wanted to give her grandparents a big hug. Tiffany took a few deep breaths and opened her eyes
Only to find herself staring at a high ceiling.
She brought her hands up to her face and rubbed her eyes, she was alive! Ally tried to sit up quickly only to feel a sharp pain just above her right hip, she let out a yelp of pain before slapping her hand over her mouth and falling back down onto the bed. After calming herself down she felt her wound on her stomach, it was covered with a large bandage and through it, she felt stitches and the same thing on her back. The bullet passed through her stomach and missed her vital organs
Tiffany very slowly sat up and examined the room, it was a dark, gothic style with a desk and chair in one corner, a dark red and black couch, a large, glass double door that led to a small balcony, and of course the large bed she was lying in. An odd detail about the room were boxes were sitting in one corner of the room.
Tiffany slowly planted her feet onto the floor and began to stand up, gritting her teeth as she did so, only to find she was only in her underwear.
A large blush appeared on her face as she realized someone undressed her, a necessary evil for survival.
She couldn't find her clothes anywhere so she grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around herself, probably better than her dirty, blood-stained clothes. She limped slowly to one of the windows and looked outside, it was dark with the moon high in the sky, she saw her room was connected to a large, dark castle, surrounded by a dark forest in the middle of no-
*Scrape*
Tiffany quickly turned around as her breath quickened, her eyes darted around searching for the noise as she leaned against the wall. "W-Who's there?" she asked nervously. "Show yourself!"
She heard scratching on the rafters above her. Suddenly, in the darkness, a pink plume of mist appeared in front of her revealing a silhouette of someone. Slowly she stepped forward into the light
Revealing a young teenage girl.
? POV
I was just taking a walk around the forest surrounding the hotel just before the sunrise. The silence and refreshing air felt pleasant just before turning in for the morning.
I looked towards the path leading up to the road where guests arrive from the Outside world where humans lurk. Well, it is far away from any human villages, "Why not?" I thought.
From a distance, I saw a vehicle and some humans too "No Way!" I thought as I turned into my bat form and hid among the dead leaves of the forest floor. These humans seemed to be having an intense argument…
'Wait, is that a gu-'
*Bang*
I quickly covered my ears. Holy rabies that was loud!
*Thump*
"Are you INSANE!" one of the humans cried out "YOU SAID YOU WOULD JUST SCARE HER!"
"HINDSIGHT 20/20 LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!"
I remained under the leaves as I heard their vehicle drive off. Once they left I turned back to normal and I saw the human girl writhing and sobbing in pain whilst muttering something under her breath.
I walked up to her, she looked up and raised her hand at me. "P-Please help me," she pleaded before falling limp on the ground.
"Holy Rabies! What do I do?!" I paced back and forth trying to find an answer, Yes she's a human and dad would kill me if I brought a human to the hotel, but she's going to die if I leave her here! Would I be any better than those humans that left her here?
With my final decision made I moved her so I could carry her in a bridal fashion. "Don't worry, I'll save you" I told her while I ran back to the hotel.
I ran into one unused room as it was the furthest away from the lobby and most other used rooms. I saw a desk and set the human down on it, I flew to my room and grabbed a needle and thread, a piece of cloth, and a pair of scissors. When I got back I slowly took off her clothes as they were on the way. I turned into my bat form, rinsed my claws, then wrapped the cloth around my mouth before threading the needle. "Okay, I can do this, I got this" My claw with the needle began to shake I grabbed it and made it stop, "I think"
*Mini Timeskip*
"There we go," I said as I covered up her stitches with some bandages. I put my head up to her chest to hear her heartbeat, still normal carefully I laid her down on the bed. After I cleaned up the blood on the desk and some on the floor. Now I just have to wait for her to wake up.
I flew up to the rafters and hung upside down, soon my eyelids began to feel heavy and before I knew it I fell asleep.
When I woke up I saw the bed was empty, I gasped and quickly scanned the room and saw her standing next to the window looking outside keeping her weight on her left foot, I shifted to get a better look at her, she was wrapped in a blanket, then my foot slipped I flapped my wings to reposition my self when she turned around looking for me "W-Who's there?" she asked nervously. "Show yourself!"
Nervously, I let out a deep breath, turned back to normal, landed on the floor, and stepped into the light.
