Nadja: It's the first day of summer break in Paris. (Mr. Damocles closes the door of Collège Françoise Dupont. Election posters for the two candidates, Caline Bustier and Armand D'Argencourt are displayed by the stairs.) Classes are barely over and the campaign for the mayoral election has already begun. (Caline hands out campaign flyers to Parisians with the help of Gisèle, Mylène Haprèle and Ivan Bruel.) Tourists have already started arriving from all around the world to savor a taste of Paris, taking advantage of the good weather and making great memories in the company of family and friends. (Customers are gathered in front of Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie. In another shot, many people are shown spending time in a park.) Good weather also prevails in London, where Adrien Agreste and Kagami Tsurugi arrived yesterday. According to a statement from the Gabriel brand, the couple will be pursuing their successful modeling careers there. (Photos of Adrien and Kagami leaving their private jets, surrounded by reporters and adoring fans are shown.) A story by our correspondent in the UK right after this message. (An advertisement featuring Adrien and Kagami begins to play.)
Ad voice: For flawless skin and flushing out toxins. (The real Kagami throws one of her sneakers at the screen in frustration.) Perfection — the drink that hydrates... to perfection.
Scene: Gabriel's lair. Gabriel Agreste is on call with Tomoe Tsurugi. He monitors all the rooms in the London lab, including those where Adrien and Kagami are staying, using a camera system.
Gabriel: Now that our children are safe in London, we can launch the Perfect Alliance.
Tomoe: One day, they'll understand that we did this all for their own good. Take care of the poison while I prepare the remedy.
Gabriel: Nooroo, dark wings rise! (Transforms into Monarch.)
Monarch: (Turns a butterfly into a megakuma.) Dark wings fall. (Detransforms.)
Gabriel: Akumatize me, dear megakuma! (The megakuma infects Gabriel's Alliance ring. He becomes Nightormentor.)
"This is the first phase of their evil operation: Mr. Agreste re-akumatizes himself back into Nightormentor and he will sprinkle his magical nightmare dust to the entire world, therefore everyone in the world will be tortured by their nightmares in their heads," Angel explained the first phase of Operation: Perfect Alliance much to everyone else's fear and anger.
Nightormentor: Mullo, Orikko, Kaalki, your powers are now mine. (Absorbs them using his blowpipe.) Sublimation! I choose the power to fly. (Touches his torso with the orange energy orb around his hand created by the superpower.) Multitude! (Splits into 42 clones.) Voyage! (Nightormentor's clones teleport to large cities all over the globe. Using their abilities, they spread nightmare dust over the cities in flight.) After spreading bad dream dust all across the world, I will awaken the dormant nightmares in each human's mind! (He finishes spreading the dust.) Voyage! (Teleports back to his lair.) Fall in! (Merges with all his clones to become one person again, then breaks out of his akumatization.)
Gabriel: (Walks back to the holographic screen.) The nightmare has begun.
Tomoe: And our wish to bring our children together can finally come true.
Scene: Agreste mansion — Marinette's nightmare. Marinette, dressed in a red knight armor with black polka dots, drives up to the Agreste mansion's gate on her scooter. She speaks to the camera at the gate.
"Just a heads-up: this is your nightmare, Marinette. It's not actually happening," Angel noted to the blue-haired girl and everyone else in the audience who all nodded in understanding.
Marinette: I want to see Adrien!
Gabriel: (through the camera) You'll have nothing more to do with my son!
Marinette: We'll see about that! (Grabs her sword and breaks down the gate with it.) I'm coming, Adrien! (Tall, thick, thorny vines spring out from the mansion all the way into the clouds. Marinette finds Adrien tied up at the top.) Adrien! I'm going to save you! (A large dragon appears and attacks Marinette with a gust of flames. The girl fights back and defeats it. The dragon turns out to be Gabriel Agreste akumatized. He detransforms and falls onto the vine, unconscious.) Mr. Agreste? (Trips.) WOAH! (Falls over and accidentally touches Gabriel with her sword, making him disintegrate.)
Adrien: Father, NO! (crying) Why did you do that, Marinette?
Even though they're aware that it's just a nightmare, everyone in the audience gasped in shock and horror at what happened on-screen. Marinette begins to tear up at the thought of it, but is comforted by Adrien as he cuddles her tenderly.
Scene: Marinette's room.
Marinette: (Wakes up in a panic.) Adrien! I have to free him from the dragon, I mean– from his father! Gah!
Tikki: He's in London now, Marinette. Remember? (Marinette experiences a sudden headache as the background flashes purple.) What's happening?
Marinette: Tikki, I need to find out where Mr. Agreste has sent Adrien. I need to free him, I mean... to talk to him. (Experiences another sudden ache.) At least to make sure that he's okay... (Grabs her phone and dials Adrien's number.)
Adrien: (pre-recorded voice) Hey! This is Adrien's voicemail. Leave a message. (Marinette hangs up and sees no new calls from Adrien. Then, a pop-up with Tsurugi Industries' logo appears on her screen.)
Marinette: What? (Opens it and the pop-up turns out to be another advertisement with Adrien and Kagami, this time, for a perfume.)
Ad voice: Use Perfection, the fragrance.
Tikki: His father won't tell you a thing, will he?
Marinette: He won't, but maybe his assistant Nathalie will. Adrien told me that she was always kind to him. Let's go and talk to her.
Scene: Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie, living room.
Marinette: (Runs downstairs and passes by her parents watching TV on the way.) I have an errand to do. See you later!
Tom: (Blocks the door.) A-Aren't you going to eat something before you leave?
Marinette: I'm not feeling very hungry, Dad.
Sabine: (Puts her hand on her husband's shoulder.) It's understandable that Marinette would have a poor appetite after Adrien's departure.
Tom: But breakfast is the most important meal of the day! (Pulls out an enormous bag filled with croissants.)
"Dad, even when I'm starving, I'm not that starving," Marinette noted with a wince towards her father who looked down in embarrassment while everyone else laughed hard in amusement.
Marinette: Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, don't worry, I– (Experiences another flash of pain and grabs her head. Tom and Sabine look at their daughter with concern.) This has... nothing to do with Adrien. I'm fine! I promise. Besides, he's just in London, he's probably doing great, there's no reason to worry. I was just heading out to meet up with my friends. (Takes the bag of croissants from her dad.) And that mountain of croissants comes at a perfect time. Love you both! (Walks out. Marinette's parents follow her outside and watch as she leaves from the top of the staircase.)
Tom: (Grabs his head in pain.) Ah, I've gotta tell you, I had the most horrible nightmare. Marinette was so sad that Adrien was gone that she stopped eating! And she became so teeny, teeny-tiny that a mouse gobbled her up!
"That would explain the mountain of croissants I just made," Tom groaned as everyone else chuckled in amusement at the thought of the man's nightmare.
Sabine: I had a nightmare too! You were so worried about Marinette that you were akumatized into Werebaker! You trapped Marinette inside a giant brioche and an army of croissants had to protect her! (The pair hugs.)
"No offense to you two, but those nightmares sound more weird than horrible," Alix noted to her friend's parents in which everyone else chuckled in agreement while the Dupain-Cheng couple frowned in embarrassment.
Scene: Outside Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie. As Marinette walks outside, she bumps into Alya and drops her croissant bag.
Alya: Marinette! I've gotta hide at your place! Monarch is about to find me and I'm terrified I'm gonna blab your– (Gasps and grabs her head.) Your secret identity! Oh no, it'll be even worse if I hide at your place. (Grabs her head again and falls down on the ground in pain.)
"Is Monarch trying to create another Scarlet Moth incident, but worldwide this time? With everyone in the world feeling negative emotions from being tortured by their nightmares in their heads?" Marinette guessed in which the audience murmured in curiosity as well, seeing the logic in the girl's theory.
"That's a pretty great theory, Marinette, but that's not it. You'll all eventually see what he and Mrs. Tsurugi are planning," Angel answered in which the audience turned their attention back to the screen in fascination.
Marinette: Are you okay, Alya?
Alya: Yeah, it's just that... we can't be seen together! (Runs off.)
Marinette: Aly– AAH! (Winces in pain.) Tikki, I... I can't think... AH! (Tikki looks on, worried.) I just... need to talk to Nathalie... (Picks up the croissant bag.) Once I know Adrien is fine, we'll go see Alya. (Stuffs the bag into the basket on the back of her scooter. Tikki sees a hole exposing the contents of the bag and enters the basket. Marinette puts on her helmet and drives away.)
"You're gonna pig out over those croissants, are you Tikki?" Marinette teasingly asked her kwami in which everyone else chuckled in agreement.
"What can I say? Your parents' croissants are irresistible!" Tikki said, defending herself making everyone else laugh harder while the Dupain-Cheng couple smiled in pride over their croissants.
Scene: Streets of Paris — Adrien's nightmare. Adrien, akumatized into Anticat, sits on the ground holding a dead Ladybug. The sky is red, the moon is shattered in half, the city razed to the ground and every citizen turned into stone.
"Now, we're back to your nightmare again, Adrien," Angel noted to the blond boy who began to tear up at the sight along with everyone else after being reminded of what happened.
Anticat: I've destroyed everything... It's my fault.
Monarch: (telepathically) Anticat, there is only one way to repair all of this. You're going to give me Ladybug's Miraculous... and yours.
Scene: Adrien's room, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in London.
Adrien: (Wakes up.) NO! (Hyperventilates.)
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Adrien: (on the camera footage) Open the door, NOW! (Bangs on the door of his room.) LET ME OUT!
Gabriel: It's time to begin distribution of the antidote to these nightmares.
Adrien: (on the camera footage) Open the door!
Scene: Tomoe's lair, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in Paris.
Tomoe: (Scans her handprint on her console, then presses a button.) The process has launched. (On the map of the world displayed in front of her, a meter begins filling up.)
Scene: Adrien's room, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in London. From the wall, an assistant robot emerges.
Adrien: OPEN THE DOOR! (A compartment inside the robot opens. There is a small box with the Gabriel brand logo on it inside. Adrien walks up and opens the box. Inside is an Alliance ring. The teen turns it on.)
Alliance Kagami: We all have nightmares.
Alliance Adrien: We all have fears.
Alliance Kagami: Unfortunately, these negative emotions can lead to the worst.
Ad voice: After months of research, Tsurugi Labs have found the antidote. The Perfect Alliance app will allow you to find inner peace thanks to relaxing activities proposed by Kagami and Adrien.
Alliance Kagami and Adrien: Whatever your level of anxiety, you'll find serenity again with us.
Ad voice: To download your app for free, say "Perfect Alliance". (Adrien grabs his head in pain, then tries putting the ring on. He stops halfway through.)
"Here's the second phase of the evil operation: Mrs. Tsurugi has created an antidote app on the Alliance ring that will hypnotize everyone into calming themselves down and mellowing out to soothing images of Adrien and Kagami doing random activities," Angel explained the next phase of the evil operation on-screen as her audience winced in confusion.
"How does that exactly benefit them?" Kagami asked on behalf of everyone else about her mother and Mr. Agreste on-screen.
"The main objective of this phase is that everyone is led to believe that you Kagami and Adrien really are the perfect pair. And that will lead to the final phase of the operation which will be bad. You'll see," Angel said as her audience turned their attention back to the screen in fear and fascination.
Adrien: This is insane! My father is out of control! (Throws the Alliance on the floor.)
Plagg: That is a pretty accurate description of your father, yes. What are you waiting for? Transform and get out there! Besides, we'll never find any cheese here.
Adrien: (whispers) Plagg, hide! There are cameras everywhere!
Plagg: Relax. May I remind you that kwamis cannot be filmed or have their voices recorded? (Plagg sticks his tongue out, makes weird faces and shakes his butt in front of the camera. In Gabriel's view, he isn't visible.)
"No, but they can hear me and see me transform," Adrien reminded his kwami as he and everyone else chuckled at Plagg making fun of the cameras on-screen.
Adrien: (Grabs his head.) But my father could hear or see me transform into you-know-who!
Plagg: Hmm... (Flies into the wall and disables the room's cameras.) There! No cameras, no problem.
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Gabriel: Tsurugi-san, could you activate the camera on the robot in my son's room?
Scene: Adrien's room, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in London.
Plagg: Shall we?
Adrien: No, Plagg. (The robot drives up to Adrien. Its built-in camera turns on. Adrien becomes visible once more. The compartment with the Alliance opens up again, with a new ring. Adrien takes the ring and turns it on.)
"It's official: I'm trapped with no way out!" Adrien said in exasperation as everyone else murmured in agreement with frowns on their faces.
Ad voice: To download your app for free, say "Perfect Alliance". (Adrien turns the ring's volume up, then covers the robot's camera with the ring.)
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Ad voice: To download your app for free, say "Perfect Alliance". (Irritated, Gabriel turns off his display's sound.)
Scene: Adrien's room, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in London.
Ad voice: (repeating) To download your app for free, say "Perfect Alliance".
Adrien: (Covers his ears.) I cannot transform... (Looks at his ring and tries taking it off.)
Plagg: What are you doing?!
Adrien: I'm not in my right mind. I'm too angry — at myself for falling short of Marinette's love, at my father for sending me here in London, at this stupid app and these rings that use my image... It makes me sick! This nightmare is giving me the horrible feeling that, if I transform, I'll get akumatized and destroy everything with my Cataclysm — Marinette, Ladybug... (Takes off the ring and hands it to Plagg.)
Plagg: Surely Ladybug can help you.
Adrien: If I ask her for help, I'd have to give her information that would jeopardize my secret identity... and I can't. (Plagg grabs the ring.) We'll see each other again, my friend. I know it. In the meantime, the only thing I can do is not get akumatized. (Plagg flies out of the room through the vent. Feeling defeated, Adrien finally puts on the Alliance.) Perfect Alliance.
Alliance Kagami: Adrien, focus on the thing you like the most — the soothing, peaceful sound of the foils brushing against one another.
Scene: Gabriel's lair. On his cameras, Gabriel sees both Adrien and Kagami on their beds, using the Perfect Alliance app. Their stress levels are being measured.
Tomoe: The stimuli that Adrien is receiving on his ring are relaxing his nervous system. The images he's watching are now associated with the feeling of well-being. He's forgetting all about the nightmares he'd previously been obsessing about. Soon he'll calm down and later, fall sound asleep.
Gabriel: Perfect Alliance is a success, dear Tsurugi-san.
Scene: In front of the Agreste mansion. Marinette arrives on her scooter and parks next to trash cans. She opens the basket. Inside, Tikki has eaten all the croissants and relaxes herself. Marinette smiles at her, then hides inside a trash can.
"Well, at least all the croissants I made didn't go to waste," Tom said as he and everyone else chuckled as well as being shocked at Tikki eating all those croissants on-screen.
Tikki: Marinette, wait! You know that using your superpowers for personal reasons has never brought you any luck.
Marinette: It isn't personal this time, it's for Adrien. Tikki, spots on. (Transforms. Ladybug swings over the fence and inside the mansion with her yo-yo.)
Scene: Bridge over the Seine — Nathalie's nightmare.
Alliance Kagami: We all have nightmares.
Alliance Adrien: We all have fears.
Alliance Kagami: Unfortunately, these negative emotions can lead to the worst.
Ad voice: After months of research, Tsurugi Labs have found the antidote. (Nathalie looks around to see Perfect Alliance ads displayed everywhere. The messages keep repeating. Suddenly, a giant Monarch appears in front of her.)
Monarch: (Laughs.) Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous are finally mine! At last, I can make my wish! (The two Miraculous merge together. A white ball of energy erupts from them and consumes the entire city.)
Scene: Nathalie's room.
Nathalie: (Wakes up in a panic, then grabs her tablet and turns on its recording feature.) Adrien, when I'm no longer here– (Grabs her head.) ...Your mother told me, one day, when your father hired me, aagh… (A Tsurugi Industries pop-up appears on the screen.)
Ad voice: After months of research, Tsurugi Labs have found the antidote–
Nathalie: (Swipes the pop-up away.) He's going to finally do it… (The woman looks at the crossbow on the wall in her room. With great difficulty, she walks towards it and takes it with her.)
"What's Nathalie doing?" Adrien asked in fear and curiosity as well as everyone else in the audience.
"Believe it or not, she's actually trying to stop your father from his evil plan," Angel explained about Nathalie on-screen in which everyone else widened their eyes in shock.
Scene: Adrien's room. Ladybug looks at a photo of herself (Marinette) with Adrien with a sad expression. She hears mechanical noises. Through a crack in the door, she watches Nathalie walk downstairs, crossbow in hand.
Scene: Thames River, London. Plagg flies away from London with the Black Cat Miraculous.
Scene: Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie, living room. Tom and Sabine relax with the Perfect Alliance app.
Alliance Adrien: That feeling when you're kneading dough... making bread relaxes me so much.
Tom: See, Sabine? I always told you that Adrien would make a great baker…
"See what the Perfect Alliance antidote app does?" Angel asked as she pointed to the screen as her audience looked at the screen wide-eyed in shock.
"I haven't acted this goofy and mellow since I was 18 and I experimented with mariju…never mind!" Tom noted, but then stopped himself when the other adults frowned at him for what he's about to say in front of teenagers. However, the teenagers (except for Adrien and Kagami who winced in confusion) knew what he was talking about and chuckled to themselves.
"What does your dad mean?" Adrien whispered to his girlfriend in curiosity with Kagami whispering the same question to Luka. Marinette and Luka quietly answered their question to their ears as the two sentibeings nodded in understanding.
Sabine: Yes, you're right, Tom, and Kagami is very gifted too…
Tom and Sabine: Adrien and Kagami really form a perfect alliance...
Scene: Over the English Channel.
Plagg: If I'd known it'd take so long, I would've made myself a cheese sandwich for the voyage!
"Really perfect timing for Kaalki to be captured!" Plagg sarcastically said in exasperation as he saw himself flying over the English Channel. "No offense!" The kwami quickly said afterMarinette, Adrien and Tikki frowned at him.
Scene: Nathalie's room. Ladybug enters Nathalie's bedroom to investigate. She looks at the explorer outfit in its glass display case, then at an old photo of Gabriel, Nathalie and Emilie on an expedition. She realizes the outfit is the same one worn by Nathalie in the picture.
Ladybug: Nathalie?
Scene: Over Paris. Plagg finally arrives in the city.
Scene: Outside Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie. Plagg looks through the living room window, but only finds Tom and Sabine hypnotized by the Perfect Alliance app.
Plagg: Drat, where is she?
Scene: Marinette's room.
Plagg: Marinette? Marinette! (Comes across a photo of Marinette with her friends on the Liberty. He chooses to head there.)
Scene: Tomoe's lair, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in Paris/Gabriel's lair. The meter on the screen in Tomoe's lair is nearly full.
Tomoe: Eighty percent of the Alliance users have already downloaded the app.
Gabriel: Good, let's move on to the next phase.
Tomoe: I recommend that we wait until as many users as possible are dependent on the antidote before we deprive them of it. Otherwise, the shock won't be great enough to provoke the next phase of the plan.
Scene: Liberty. Plagg arrives to find Marinette's friends laying on hammocks and couches, all focused on their Perfect Alliance apps.
Plagg: Ah, Alya!
Alya's Alliance Kagami: As proven by our investigative journalism, there isn't any problem anywhere, is there, Adrien?
Alya's Alliance Adrien: Not a single one. Everything's fine, Kagami. (Mylène stumbles onto the boat.)
Mylène: Friends, I had an awful nightmare. All the trees on Earth had been uprooted by extraterrestrials. What if it was a prophetic dream? What if the world is in danger?
Nino: Put this on, Mylène. (Holds up an Alliance ring.) You'll feel better.
"Look at that! We're all acting goofy and mellow too from the app!" Alya said in shock along with everyone else towards her and her friends' behaviors from the antidote app on-screen.
Mylène: I refuse to touch an object that was made without respect for the Earth's resources. Besides, these rings broadcast bogus images of Kagami and Adrien. (Spots Ivan using one of them.) Ivan! What's gotten into you?
Ivan: I had a horrible nightmare that you were leaving me to go take care of a polar bear whose habitat was threatened.
Mylène: I'd never leave you! You're my teddy bear! (Hugs him.) Come on, you can take that ring off. (Ivan takes his Alliance off, but his nightmare instantly returns.)
Ivan: No! I'm sorry, I can't!
Mylène: (Looks at him, stumped.) Hey, wake up people, that thing's got you all hypnotized!
Alya: The ring isn't our enemy, Mylène. True, the app is lame, but Gabriel Agreste is like us, he's just looking for a way to help Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Nino: It makes you chillax. You forget all about your nightmares, your negative emotions. I can see you're stressed out. Put it on, and then no more risk of you being akumatized. (Mylène hesitates, but once her nightmare causes her pain again, she gives in.)
Mylène: If this means fighting against Monarch... (Turns the Alliance on.)
Mylène's Alliance Adrien: Kagami, how about a walk in the forest?
"No!" Mylene shouted out to her on-screen self for giving in and using the Alliance ring along with the app for herself.
Scene: Tomoe's lair, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in Paris/Gabriel's lair.
Tomoe: Ninety-nine percent download. We may begin, Gabriel.
Gabriel: Nooroo, dark– (An alarm goes off in Gabriel's lair.) Give me a minute.
Scene: The Crypt. Gabriel runs in and turns four switches on Emilie's cryogenic pod back on. He stands in front of the pod and speaks to his wife one last time.
Gabriel: Emilie... I've given up on everything. My dreams, my ambitions, my morality. But I never gave up on you, my love. I only have a few hours left now... but nothing will stop me from seizing Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous. I will unite the magic jewels so I can make the wish that will bring you back to me. (The bushes behind Gabriel rustle. Nathalie comes out of hiding, pointing her crossbow at Gabriel.)
Nathalie: I can't let you do that... if you make the wish to bring her back, someone will have to go in her place. Emilie would never have agreed to this!
Gabriel: Do you think I'd be monstrous enough to sacrifice a human being? This is terrible! All these years working together and you really think that I'm a monster? (Gabriel walks towards Nathalie. She backs off, terrified. He smiles at her compassionately, but suddenly...) Nooroo, dark wings rise! (Gabriel becomes Monarch and knocks the crossbow out of his assistant's hands. She loses her strength and faints. The supervillain picks her up and takes her with him.)
The audience (especially Adrien) gasped in shock and horror upon seeing Mr. Agreste knocked the crossbow away, making Nathalie fall and faint on-screen. He's really become a monster! Everyone in the audience thought in their heads.
Monarch: There's nothing you can do to stop me now.
Scene: Nathalie's room. Ladybug looks through the drawers. She takes out a tablet and turns it on.
"This is the big dramatic moment where you finally learn the truth about Mr. Agreste, Marinette," Angel pointed out to Marinette, giving a heads-up to her and the rest of the audience as they quietly gasped in shock.
Ladybug: The tablet stolen from Master Fu? (The superheroine walks over to the bed and picks up Nathalie's tablet instead. She opens a random folder and finds scans of pages from the Miraculous spellbook as well as information about Miraculous holders whose identities were revealed in "Miracle Queen".) It can't be… (The door opens. Monarch walks inside and places Nathalie down on the bed. Ladybug observes them from hiding.)
Monarch: Dark wings fall. (Detransforms. Ladybug gasps when she sees her greatest enemy is the famous fashion designer.)
Gabriel: I knew that you would betray me, Nathalie. I was prepared.
Ladybug: (typed message) Cat Noir, Gabriel Agreste is Monarch. I'm waiting for you at his place. We'll only have a shot if we fight him together.
Gabriel: I knew it as soon as I realized that you were instigating Adrien's defiance. When you started insidiously supporting his ridiculous fling with Marinette Dupain-Cheng. (Ladybug looks angered and determined. She prepares to hit 'Send' on the message.) You will be loyal to me until the end, after all. (Nathalie grabs her head in pain. He puts an Alliance ring on her and turns on the Perfect Alliance app.) As for the rest, let bygones be bygones. Just think of it as a horrible nightmare. You can relax now... (Walks out.)
Ladybug: (Walks up and takes off the ring from Nathalie's finger.) Where is Adrien Agreste, what have you done with him?!

Nathalie pulls out a phone from underneath her pillow and shows Ladybug a photo of Emilie.) Stop Monarch at all costs. That's what she would have wanted… (Ladybug is mortified.) Transform back, transform back! (Closes her eyes.)
Ladybug: What? Why? Wake up! Wake up!
"Nathalie, no!" Adrien quietly exclaimed in despair with tears flowing out of his eyes upon seeing his father's assistant who has become like a mother figure to him suffering on-screen. Along with the blond boy, everyone else started tearing up upon the sight.
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Gabriel: Nooroo, dark wings rise! (Transforms into Monarch.)
Scene: Tomoe's lair, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in Paris.
Monarch: Proceed to the next phase of the plan. (Tomoe scans her handprint once more, then presses a different button. The world map turns red.)
Scene: Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie, living room. Tom's Perfect Alliance app turns red. Avatars of Ladybug and Cat Noir interrupt.
Alliance Cat Noir: So you two think you can do better than us?!
Alliance Ladybug: You think your Perfect Alliance is stronger against akumas than Cat Noir and Ladybug?! (The superheroes drag Kagami and Adrien away.)
Alliance Adrien: Help! Please save us!
Alliance Kagami: Please, leave us alone! (Every Alliance ring in the world turns off.)
"And that's the final phase of the evil operation: an illusion has been created of Adrien and Kagami being kidnapped by Ladybug and Cat Noir. And wait till you see what they're gonna make you all do to "save them"," Angel explained the final phase of Operation: Perfect Alliance which made her audience murmur in fear and panic.
"Kinda strange to see me kidnapping myself," Adrien noted which made the audience chuckle a little in agreement before they turned back to fearing what will happen next.
Scene: Liberty.
Ivan: No! Mylène, I'm scared! (As the teenagers try to turn their rings back on, a sudden news report is broadcasted.)
Nadja: Don't be bemused, it's just the news. Ladybug and Cat Noir have just abducted Adrien Agreste and Kagami Tsurugi, the perfect couple! (The friends all fall into despair and grab their heads.)
Rose: There's nothing left to protect us from being akumatized now!
Alya: Ladybug would never do that! (Takes off her Alliance.)
Kim: You saw what we all saw!
Alya: Trust me, we all know Ladybug because she saved each and every one of us at least once! We all owe something to Ladybug and we know she would never kidnap anyone, and neither would... (Notices Plagg on the ship.) Cat Noir? (Plagg gestures to Alya with the ring.)
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: I carefully held onto the magical charm that your guardian, Ladybug, had entrusted to Gabriel Agreste... (Places the charm on a special pad on his control board.) unaware that he was me. And the Cataclysm that your friend, Cat Noir, inflicted on me won't have served only to destroy me in the end. (Places his exposed left hand on a second scanning pad.)
Scene: Tomoe's lair, Tsurugi Industries lab in Paris.
Tomoe: The Cataclysm dust and the magical charm has provided us Ladybug and Cat Noir's quantum imprint. (The two pads scan the charm and Gabriel's hand.)
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: Such irony... they've personally provided me with the weapons to defeat them. Transfer! (Every kwami's magic is absorbed through tubes into the control board. Tomoe presses a third button. Around the world, Alliance rings turn back on.)
"What's going on?! How is the magical charm and the dust from Cat Noir's Cataclysm weapons?!" Marinette asked curiously in fear and panic as well as everyone else.
"It will help locate Ladybug and Cat Noir, at least when you two are transformed. It's kind of like when a dog sniffs something that belongs to their target and they track their target down with their scent," Angel explained, making her audience nod in understanding but didn't stop their fearful looks.
Scene: Liberty.
Alliance Gabriel: Hello, I am Gabriel Agreste, designer of Alliance and father to Adrien. My son and his friend Kagami are victims of Ladybug and Cat Noir. If you want to help me save them, say "Alliance, Miraculize me!" (The rings turn off.)
Ivan: Alliance, Miraculize me! (Ivan is engulfed in a black-purple ether and becomes Miraculized.)
"What's happened to Ivan?!" Mylene asked in panic and fear along with everyone else what happened to her boyfriend on-screen.
"Ivan's been Miraculized. He's turned into a hypnotized soldier of an army hunting down Ladybug and Cat Noir in order to "save" Adrien and Kagami. Anyone with Alliance rings have the option of doing so," Angel explained as her audience began to murmur in more fear and panic.
Alya: Take off your rings! It's a trap from Monarch, he's found a way to take control of Alliance!
Mylène: Ivan!
Miraculized Ivan: Join me, Mylène! Let's find Ladybug and Cat Noir and free our friends! (Makes a few punching motions.)
Mylène: Ivan, take off your ring!
Nino: Wait up, dude! (Nino, Kim and Nathaniel begin struggling with their Miraculized friend. Alya uses the opportunity to run to the back of the ship and meet up with Plagg.)
Alya: (whispering) Where's Ladybug and why aren't you with Cat Noir?

Ladybug: Cat Noir, I need you right now! I'm at– (Another alarm blares. The windows of the room are closed with metal plates as part of the mansion's security system. Before they fully close, Ladybug catches a glimpse of some Miraculized people on rooftops by the mansion.)
Scene: Tomoe's lair, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in Paris.
Tomoe: Ladybug and Cat Noir's quantum imprint detector activated.
Scene: Rooftops. White beams of light are emitted from the Miraculized's Alliance rings. They all point to Nathalie's room.
"Those white light beams tell the location of Ladybug and Cat Noir. In order to get rid of the light beams, you two would have to detransform," Angel explained, which made the audience nod in understanding, but are fearful on behalf of their superhero friend.
Unnamed Miraculized: Ladybug's in there!
Scene: Tomoe's lair, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in Paris.
Tomoe: A Ladybug imprint has been detected in your home, Gabriel!
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: Ah, she's probably trying to flee from the Miraculized by hiding here. How very ironic.
Scene: Nathalie's room. Voyage portals open all around Ladybug.
Miraculized: Release them! Ladybug! Release them! Where are Kagami and Adrien?!
Ladybug: What?
Unnamed Miraculized 1: Venom!
Unnamed Miraculized 2: Clout!
Ladybug: What on earth are you talking about? (Ladybug fends off the supervillains' attacks. More portals open behind her.)
Miraculized: Ladybug, where are Kagami and Adrien?! Release them! (Ladybug is surrounded.)
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: You're trapped, Ladybug. In a moment, your Miraculous will be mine.
Scene: Tomoe's lair, Tsurugi Industries laboratory in Paris.
Tomoe: I can't detect any imprint for Cat Noir. She is alone.
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: That will make things even easier.
Scene: Nathalie's room.
Miraculized: (repeating) Where are Kagami and Adrien?! Release them! Ladybug, release them! (Ladybug fights off the attacks of the Miraculized army. She drops the chandelier in the room on them, then escapes into the hall.)
Scene: Rooftops.
Plagg: (Spots the Miraculized all heading to the Agreste mansion.) Ah, there! At least you can always count on the villains to find the superheroes. (Flies through one of the Voyage portals into the mansion hall.)
Scene: Agreste mansion hall. Plagg hides near the staircase. Ladybug runs from the Miraculized, struggling to hold them off.
Miraculized: (repeating) Ladybug, release them! Where are Kagami and Adrien?! (As Ladybug closes the door of a room filled with her enemies, she remembers Nathalie's last words.)
Nathalie: (flashback) Transform back!
Ladybug: Of course! (Swings away and runs into the kitchen.)
Scene: Agreste's kitchen.
Ladybug: (Runs in and hides in one of the cupboards.) Spots off. (Detransforms.)
Scene: Rooftops. The white trails leading to the mansion all disappear.
Unknown voice: Quantum imprint lost.
Scene: Agreste mansion hall.
Miraculized: Where'd she go? Where did she go? Where is she? (All teleport away.)
Scene: Agreste's kitchen. Marinette and Tikki look at each other, concerned.
Scene: Gabriel's lair.
Monarch: Hah... hah... Ladybug is still here, I can feel it! She must have transformed back! She's vulnerable! (to Tomoe) Make sure that the others keep looking for Cat Noir, I'm going to give a personal, proper welcome to Ladybug. After all, I am her host. But before I meet her, you, nice kwamis, are going to give me the power to fight her and make me invulnerable! Stompp, your power is now mine! (Absorbs the kwami into his Ox Miraculous ring.)
Scene: Agreste mansion hall.
Monarch: (Teleports in.) Oh, LADYBUG!
Scene: Agreste's kitchen.
Marinette: (Feeds Tikki.) I can't get a hold of Cat Noir or transform... (Grabs her head in pain.)
Monarch: (from the hall) Ladybug!
Scene: Agreste mansion hall.
Monarch: Where are you? (Walks to the dining room. Plagg flies into the kitchen.)
Scene: Agreste's kitchen. As Plagg enters the cupboard, the ring can't pass through the door with him, so it falls on the ground.
Scene: Agreste mansion dining hall. Monarch hears the ring dropping and stops.
"UH-OH!" Everyone in the audience exclaimed in fear and panic that Monarch will shortly find Marinette on-screen.
Scene: Agreste's kitchen.
Plagg: Sorry…
Marinette: Where's Cat Noir?
Plagg: He fell victim to that wretched Alliance ring. What are you doing here?
Marinette: This is where Monarch lives. (Plagg reacts with shock and fear. He looks at Tikki, who just nods. Marinette slightly opens the cupboard door and picks up the Cat Miraculous off the floor)
Monarch: (Opens the cupboard door and drags Marinette out) Found you! (Marinette, determined, looks back at Monarch with a smirk, and Monarch is in shock when he finds out who Ladybug is) Marinette Dupain-Cheng?!
Marinette: No. Tikki, Plagg, unify! (She kicks Monarch in the face, flips back, and stands up)
[Transformation Sequence]
Bug Noire: Call me Bug Noire.
"Alright, onto the second part which is called Re-Creation which you could say refers to the Ladybug Miraculous. This is it, everyone! The final battle between Ladybug or Bug Noire against Monarch!" Angel announced to her audience who were shaking with excitement and anticipation as she played the next part of the finale.
