Ground Zero Summoning Chapter 2
What is this feeling, everything is so weird, why is everything red? I feel so weird, but also so energetic.
Louise held her bloodied hand still soaked from her wound to her face. She couldn't resist the urge to lick it.
So good...
"So little girl.. Could you be a bother and open up a portal back to my world?" Said the tall lanky red coat wearing vampire.
Louise was paying no attention to the Vampire, she was currently too overwhelmed by the smell and taste of blood. She was a Valliere though! Drinking blood was definitely a no no, but right now she was in a resetting loop of time. Perhaps giving into her craving wouldn't be a bad idea..
Alucard, the greatest of all Vampires, was starting to get pissed at being ignored. Turning around he saw his new Vampire pupil sucking the blood from a barely alive red head...
"God Fucking Damn It!" Alucard cursed as he went to pull Louise off Kirche.
Drinking Kirche's blood was way better then her own blood! It didn't concern Louise at that moment she was finishing off her fellow students dwindling life force.
Crash!
It was so fast. Before Louise could realize it she was grab and thrown into a stone wall. What surprised her even more was that she had gone through it and barely felt a thing.
Shouldn't I have broken bones, and what happened.
She looked up. "Master."
Why did I say that! Louise internally shouted.
"My little vampire puppy! You know how pissed Integra is going to be at me when she finds out I made a vampire who is creating ghouls!" Alucard shouted down at her.
"Eeep!" Louise whined as blood leaked down her chin.
"Oh great she's dead." Alucard looked over to Kirche.
"Integra is never going to let me keep a puppy like you." He sighed.
"Still I'm going to need that portal first." As he went to get his pistol.
"Look out!" A voice inside Louise's head shouted.
Barely in time Louise dodged a large caliber pistol bullet that shattered a large chunk of the wall behind her.
"Why Master!" Louise shouted, seemingly finding it strange yet not to call him as such.
"Sometimes it so hard to put a puppy down..." Alucard said as he tried to aim his pistol again.
Why is master trying to kill me! "Why!" She shouted as she somehow dodged another bullet.
"A puppy that won't obey his master should be put down... It's the Hellsing way. Now die!" He said pulling the trigger on his second pistol he drew.
"I won't let you!" Yelled the voice inside Louise.
Abruptly a large amount of fire sprung fourth from Louise melting all the bullets in their tracks.
"Kirche!" Louise shouted.
"About time you recognized I was in here, not that I really understand what is going on.." Kirche spoke to Louise mentally.
"Oh... I see you have attained a familiar. A fledgling Vampire taking a soul right after being born, you are my child alright. So I guess that means I can't hold back?" Alucard stated as he formed into a large mass of black.
I need to get away! Master will kill me!
"Louise use my power, well try and escape!" Kirche internally shouted.
I don't even need a wand for this! "Fireball!" She shouted.
The spell erupted from the palm of her hand but fizzled against the black mass that was her master.
It didn't work! Kirche any other bright ideas?
"Everyone else is dead in the courtyard Louise, I don't even understand what is happening and I feel a weird undying loyalty towards you, but it feels comfortable."
This is not how I wanted to attain a familiar.
"I know, I can feel that Louise."
Aren't you mad I killed you?
"I was already dying Louise, besides I'm already filled with joy just being with you, its weird."
Well it won't matter soon because of the reset.
"Reset?" Kirche asked baffled.
Another voice appeared in her head. "Good night puppy!"
The black mass that was Alucard formed into a terrifying beast and devoured Louise flames and all.
*Ground Zero Summoning*
Louise sprang forward in her bed. A pounding head-ache and sweat poured from her brow.
That was intense!
"Tell me about it, I thought we were goners for sure!" Kirche stated inside Louise's head.
"What!" Louise shouted throwing off her blankets.
"No need to shout Louise. I'm right here inside of you, you know." Kirche stated.
"But but... We reset!" Louise fumbled her words.
"This isn't possible!" Louise shouted.
I thought the reset would prevent this, does this mean I'm still a Vampire?
Louise checked her pulse. Thankfully her heart was beating again like normal.
"I would think you are, as I'm still here, not that I have much other choice then to be your familiar. What is this whole reset thing you keep mentioning by the way?" Kirche asked.
Louise calmed down. What was the best way to describe this to Kirche..?
"You know I can hear what your thinking right Louise?" Kirche stated in her mind.
"Get out of my head Zerbst!" Louise shouted.
"Kind of stuck here you know..." Kirche deadpanned in response.
Before being able to speak her mind Louise bedroom door opened.
"Me!" Kirche shouted inside Louise's head.
"Zero, why you making such a racket right before class? As much as I'd like to get inside that head of yours. I can assure you that other then teasing you I have no such plans..."
What how. The reset!
"Now I really need to know what this reset is!" Kirche demanded inside Louise head.
"I'm not even changed yet, get out of my room Kirche!" Louise shouted at the buxom red head.
"Was that anyway to treat me?" Inner Kirche asked Louise.
"Fine Zero, just don't forget to show up to class, I can't wait to see what you summon." Kirche stated as she left Louise's room.
"Now tell me Louise, what is this all about. Whats a reset! How did we survive?" Inner Kirche offloaded her questions to Louise.
I guess you will have no choice to believe what I tell you. I kind of found out I'm a void mage and it gets more complicated from there.
"How complicated?"
Well I might have tried to attack an invading army a few months from now and accidentally triggered magic spell to cause time to keep repeating in a loop.
"..."
Every time I die, fail to summon a Familiar, or some other criteria, time resets back to waking up for the Familiar summoning ceremony.
"And how long has this been happening for?" Kirche asked nervously.
Quite a few times already, I've been slowing figuring out how to move time forward. Every time I think I'm getting somewhere I end up resetting.
"Have you tried researching time magic in the library?"
First thing I tried, worst yet I can never predict what I will summon, and it seems the runic array is pointless to begin with.
"Kind of makes all that studying we did pointless, huh Louise."
Yeah. But I really just want to summon back Saito.
"Who."
I summoned him in the original timeline... You all laughed at me for summoning a commoner.
"That sounds accurate."
Turns out he was a legendary swordsman, we got married before he died. Then Tristain fell.
"I'm sorry.."
Well your counterpart tired her best to help, you fought alongside me and Saito right up until the end.
"So what now?"
Maybe I can see what other Vampiric powers I retained?
"You can retain powers!?"
Yeah, though not like they were before the reset... I guess I shouldn't be surprised you came with me...
"See if you can summon my fire magic!"
That's brilliant Kirche!
"Thanks." Kirche blushed.
Here goes!
"Fireball!" Louise yelled.
A small flame no bigger then a golf ball shot from her palm. The fire bolt struck her dresser scorching a hole through it.
"Wow Louise you finally cast a good spell! Well besides the whole time magic thing."
Louise let the insult pass, she had fire magic now, sure it wasn't powerful like her void magic. Hell the magic wasn't even a tenth of the power before the reset. But! This fire magic was wand-less and at least close to dot mage status.
"I'm a great familiar right Louise!"
And there her mood went back down again. You just had to mention that I was borrowing your power didn't you...?
"I'm sorry master!" Kirche yelled.
Why did you call me master?
"Well that's how I see you... Odd when did I start thinking like that? Oh well it's probably not important Louise!"
Not important... Not.. But Kirche I forced you to become my familiar, I've literally trapped you inside my head!
"Well in a way you haven't I mean I was just in your room a minute ago right. I think I'm something else, maybe lovers?"
"Don't you dare joke like that Zerbst!" Louise internally shouted while stomping her foot.
"Relax Louise, I don't think I'd rather be anywhere else. It's very comfortable in here."
Somehow I just find that more disturbing Kirche.
"Well its the truth Louise! You will just have to come to learn to love me!"
No no no. An unlimited amount of resets while trapped alongside the Zerbst!
"Hey!" Kirche shouted.
*Ground Zero Summoning*
After finally getting dressed Louise found herself on the familiar courtyard fields by the void tower. Her classmates were already taunting her.
"Did we always taunt you this bad, even on the way here several students teased you."
I don't want to here that from you Kirche!
"Fine master!"
And so the ritual proceeded as before, albeit now with Kirche's commentary included, much to Louise's annoyance.
"Louise can you not summon something that will kill everyone this time?" Inner Kirche pleaded.
It would just get reset anyways, not like I can control what I summon. Besides it can't be bad as a mage, giant fox, stone statue angel, or even a mother fucking Vampire...
Kirche winced at each mention of Louise's previous summons.
"You will have to tell me about them later, I do believe it's about to be your turn, if I remember correctly."
If you remember correctly?
"Hey! I was busy being mauled to death you know, hard to keep your head straight when that happens princess!"
Princess...
"Don't let a slip of my tongue go to your head master!"
Before Louise could think in reply, her nemesis outside her head, Zerbst, pointed out it was her turn to summon a familiar.
Like that many times before now, she yet again prepared for the ritual. Kirche even offered some advise.
With her chant, an explosion followed.
As the smoke cleared, a man stood at the center of the crater. Apparently her explosions were still overpowered by the fox spirit...
The man was fat, oh lord did he not diet, he was worse then some nobles, still he looked healthy enough. He had an orange hat, blue pants, and a green t-shirt. Honestly his clothes reminded her of Saito a bit. The sandles were a bit odd, and his hair was scruffy and brown sticking out from his odd orange hat.
"Master is that Saito?" Inner Kirche asked.
No no, that's not Saito, but I think it might be another commoner.
"Ummm, Excuse me, but how did I end up here?" Said the man.
Louise felt it nostalgic to here the Japanese language translate into Tristain's language. She only noticed this time because it took a moment for the spell she cast to start translating. But wait she didn't cast it in this reset, not since Saito! How does this work!?
"Master perhaps it's because you did it before, it sounds like your spell... No, a Void Spell has been translating for you since then."
Was that even possible? It would explain how she could understand the Vampire in the previous reset. Then again at first she could have sworn he was speaking Albionese.
"Maybe the Vampire's language was similar to Albions?" Inner Kirche commentated.
Possible...
*Ground Zero Summoning*
Impossible...
There was lots of murmuring by these strangely dressed foreigners. Or at least her thought they were. They were oddly all dressed in cosplay, not that daru-kun was against that. Faris-Tan was the best after all! Had he been Isekai'd? What would Okabe... No what would Houinin Kymou have to say if he were in his shoes? Probably something about this being the choice of Steins Gate or something.?
"Ummm, Excuse me, but how did I end up here?" Asked Daru-kun.
All of the cos-players looked at him funny, some even laughing, though not seemingly at him. Their attention seemed aimed toward a honest to god Loli. Wait, no. If she was the same age as the rest of them she might be a legal loli! Daru-kuns nostrils flared hot air. Some of the girl cos-players seemed grossed out by this behavior as his, as his eyes darted between them all.
Eventually his eyes came upon a busty red haired girl with very loose fitting clothing a large boobs!
"Boobs for the win!" Daru shouted loudly in his mind.
*Ground Zero Summoning*
"Master what have you summoned this time?" Inner Kirche commented as she watched the fat man ogle her flesh body with his eyes from within Louise's head.
I'm honestly afraid to ask.. He might be worse then that elf skirt chasing Brimir!
"Well you kind of should answer him, not just leave him there making a fool out of you, you know?" Inner Kirche pointed out.
Your right... Louise internally huffed.
