4Jaune's consciousness and Pyrrha as an angel stood atop Beacon tower staring down at the chaos as Grimm of all kinds prowled along the once bustling Academy and Vale,the Wyvern frozen over them,Pyrrha looked up proudly,Ruby's work... she did not blame her for getting to her too late,she'd chosen her destiny.
Pyrrha knew Ruby was there at the moment she died,she had wanted to weep at the thought of the girl having to watch tired and helpless as someone she had come to view as an older sister in all but blood die because as her soul left her body that was turning into hot ash she heard Ruby's heart wrenching scream.
Pyrrha looked over to Jaune who was still staring down at the academy a far off look in his eyes she remembered Ruby telling her how much she also cared about Jaune like Pyrrha had herself cared and still now does,Ruby had also seen the potential that Jaune had,she remembered the last talk she and Ruby had held.
Flashback
"I'm going to tell you this Pyrrha because... I trust you,I grew up with one family member dead back when I was a child."
Ruby said fully looking Pyrrha in her eyes,the obvious compassion in Pyrrha's green orbs unmistakable."
That sounds really terrible Ruby,I had no idea,but... why are you revealing that to me?"
Pyrrha kept eye contact with Ruby's Silver eyes and saw the trust the younger girl held for her.
"I see you as an older sister of sorts so I now have an older family member extra,basically."
Ruby said her eyes tearing up a little after finally getting that off her chest,releasing a breath."
Well then it's the same for me,you're like the little sister I never had Ruby,thank
you."
Pyrrha replied also getting a little teary eyed,she then grabbed the younger girl into a hug suddenly.
"And thank you too Pyrrha,you are a hero in a big way,you taught me how to be a hero too."
Ruby said not even missing a beat she really did look up to Pyrrha as the benchmark of heroism"
"You and Jaune are a lot like that,you both have the potential for becoming the best hunter ever."
Pyrrha said drawing a comparison,their grit,sense of justice and also total selflessness,it was hard to really miss it."
Speaking of Jaune,one prodigy to another... I know you have your eyes on him but I... also like him..."
Ruby said fully expecting Pyrrha to be at least lightly annoyed at that unexpected revelation.
"I already knew,you look at him same as I,we won't fight over him though,his own decision is final."
Pyrrha said reassuring the rose themed reaper,she had a feeling her own time was very limited."
I am glad then Pyrrha,I wouldn't wanna lose someone who is like a sister to me."
Ruby replied relieved,she did not wanna end up visiting the grave of another loved one.
Flashback end
'How ironic' Pyrrha thought deeply saddened at the very much painful irony of Ruby's words,she does not have a body to be buried so Ruby would be visiting an empty grave of course which naturally Pyrrha believed would make visiting it that much more painful in the end for Ruby,Pyrrha looked over to Jaune.
Jaune has grown so much since my life had ended,I am glad the brothers made me an angel.
Pyrrha thought idly, Jaune's own thoughts were running rampant with some emotions negative and some positive,he felt deep regret over his own weakness that lead to Beacon's fall and sorrow too over all of the innocent lives that are forever lost, Pyrrha's included,he had hope though and joy at Pyrrha's now being an angel.
I don't know what kind of divine power returned Pyrrha but with her by my side I can actually be at my very best.
Jaune thought with a thankful feeling,he felt Pyrrha's eyes on him and smiled at her getting a smile from her in return,those gorgeous green eyes of hers were
something that he had missed but now here both stood,he blushed remembering their activity back in his mind scape, but then he started reminiscing.
Flashbacks starts Flashback 1
Back at initiation
Jaune was standing with Pyrrha, her hands on his shoulders while calmly chanting
"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all. Infinite in distance and unbound by death, I release your soul, and by my shoulder, protect thee."
Jaune felt himself get a fairly warm feeling stirring in his soul all while Pyrrha was chanting.
Timeskip flashback
Flashback 2
JNPR dorm
"Jaune,I've told you lots of times I believe that you can reach greatness,chin up,you'll get there."
Pyrrha said encouragingly,her heart ached every single time Jaune voiced all of his many doubts.
"I know,I really appreciate all the work that you're putting in to me, you really are perfect."
Jaune said smiling at Pyrrha,he knew that she knew he saw her as one of the few real ones
"I don't know if there is a higher power out there but even when I'm dead I'll give you my full support."
Pyrrha said smiling right back,she suspected some powerful being or more will give guidance to them.
"Well unless I die,I get it though,after all,legends never die,not forever,even the sharp claws of death can't keep them"
Jaune replied feeling all emotional,he gave Pyrrha a hug showing all his total appreciation.
"That is correct, I will be as the aura chant says,unbound by death,you can be the same,you're a good person."
Pyrrha eventually replied after a couple of seconds,she hugged Jaune right back in enjoyment.

Flashback 3
Somewhere in Beacon
"I finally caught up,why did you run away,I don't understand, please tell me what is wrong."
Jaune said out of breath,still feeling the effects of being flung into a wall and running.
"I am sorry but I can't tell you,I just can't,you aren't ready for the truth of the world,not right now."
Pyrrha replied,her heart clenching in emotional anguish, she felt all conflicted,yet resolute.
"Alright,but just remember,I will always be there if you want to talk about anything at all."
Jaune said directing an encouraging smile Pyrrha's way,she just smiled right back at him
End of flashback
"Ruby certainly did quite the number on that Wyvern a few months ago when she was seeing you die huh?"
Jaune said trying to start a little conversation with his discovered angel partner,it still felt really unreal to him.
"Yeah,she really did,to think Ruby would have all of that power,she might just save Remnant from the threat it faces."
Pyrrha said standing right next to Jaune, she took his hand and they linked their fingers together as if natural.
"I do know what you mean,but,this massive wyvern still seems to be attracting Grimm to Vale."
Jaune said looking at the Wyvern in concern,something about the thing frozen there didn't sit right at all with him.
"My theory is that the Wyvern is basically petrified as in frozen in a magical way, Ruby's Silver eyes are magical it seems."
Pyrrha said while giving Jaune's hand a reassuring squeeze,that death has not come to the Wyvern is apparent.
"I guess that makes sense... I am feeling really uneasy,this being the place your life came to an end really sucks,I am sorry."
Jaune said feeling dejected as the thought was occuring to him,sure hey Pyrrha's an Angel,but,he felt so weak.
"Jaune, I told you that none of the things that happened here to me were remotely your fault,chin up,I am here aren't I?"
Pyrrha said and put two fingers of her free hand under Jaune's chin,the angel leaned in and they had a chaste one second kiss.
"Wow,I don't know what to say to that Pyrrha, I have been blaming myself for far too long,but if you are sure then thanks."
Jaune replied, the words 'chin up' once again reminding him of the first time she said it,he studied her in wonderment.
"You are welcome,you really need to learn to let things beyond your controle go though,I am not leaving you again Jaune."
Pyrrha said reassuringly,she gave him a hug which he quickly returned,they stayed in the hug,Jaune felt comfortable now.
"I know and with you by my side again I think that we could get on the fast track to total victory,I love you,Pyrrha,always."
Jaune replied and gave Pyrrha a squeeze in the embrace that they were sharing,he felt much better than he did earlier.
"I know and,I love you too Jaune,I can feel your body waking up,now when you see them tell Ruby,Nora and Ren that I say hi."
Pyrrha told Jaune as she felt the pull on Jaune's subconciousness,she felt him nod as they squeezed each other...

In the waking world
Jaune stirred,his eyes opening slowly as he knew well by this point to adjust to the sunlit day that naturally no doubt he would be noticing as the unwelcome UV rays the sun gives off,he sat up as his eyelids became unglued from each other, he noticed the rest of team RNJR were up already so he got up,rubbed the sleep remnants from his eyes and pulled the team into a group hug,they hugged back.

Hey guys I know it has been way too long now but I've been having a serious case of writersblock,look,I know this chapter is really not much but those of you who follow the fic,I do hope it isn't too much of a disappointment,please let me know in the comments what all your thoughts are on this chapter,I would appreciate your feedback,this was the last chapter,I have absolutely no inspiration anymore,sorry for ending this abruptly,this is FKYouHackers and I am signing out.
