Summary: Eve has baby news for Malcolm and their relationship reignites from there.
Notes: The baby is born. This is the last part I know I only focused on a few things but this is what my muse gave me. I hope you liked it let me know if you did.

Malcolm was in awe as he held his daughter for the first time. A part of him was still in disbelief until he had heard the first sounds of life and then he knew then he'd become a father.

"Eve I can't believe you did that," he told her.

"Thank you, I think," Eve responded, tiredly.

"She needs a name."

"That's proving difficult."

"She's perfect," he marveled.

Eve smiled, the baby already had him wrapped around her finger and she was thrilled about it. "What about Brielle?"

"Brielle Sophia Bright?"

"I like it."

"Me too. It seems you have a name." He caressed her cheek softly and she made a soft sound. "I think she likes it."

"I think so too."

He gave her back the baby and there was a knock on the door and a moment later Jessica was in the room holding a gift bag.

"Jessica you've already gotten her so much," Eve said, motioning to the bag.

"Nonsense dear, I have a granddaughter to spoil," she replied. "She's beautiful, she looks just like you."

"Do you want to hold her?" Looking through the bag and finding a few onesies inside.

"Of course. Has she got a name yet?"

"Yes Mother, we named her Brielle," Malcolm replied.

"Brielle that's different but I like it." She took the baby from Eve and a smile crossed her lips unlike anything Malcolm had seen in a long time, the baby melted her heart. "She's perfect. I'm your Glamma little one."

"All eight pounds two ounces and sixteen inches of her," said Eve. "Glamma?"

"It has a certain ring to it and I'm not going to be Grandma or Granny."

"All right Glamma it is."

There was another knock at the door and this time Gil came in. Malcolm was glad he'd come.

"Our granddaughter has a name," Jessica told him.

"Our granddaughter?" asked Gil, surprised.

"Of course you're her grandfather," Malcolm assured him. "If I have anything to do with it she'll never know about Martin Whitly. And she's named Brielle Sophia Bright."

"Wow I'm a grandfather," marvelled Gil. "I love the name, it's so unique."

Jessica and Gil visited for a while longer until the members of the team started to arrive; they didn't want to hog all the time with the baby. Edrisa came in first with balloons one with "it's a girl" written on it and a bag with a gift for the baby.

"Thank you Edrisa," said Eve taking a pink teddy bear from the bag.

"No problem. She looks just like you."

"That seems to be the consensus. I think she has some Malcolm in there."

There was a knock on the door and JT came in also with balloons. "Is this a bad time?" he asked.

"No, come in," Eve assured him. "She's sleeping right now though."

"That's fine, babies don't like me much. Congratulations she's beautiful."

"Thank you," both Eve and Malcolm said at the same time.

Dani joined them not long after with a gift bag in her hand. She gave it to Eve who took out a little multi coloured tutu.

"That's so cute thank you Dani."

It felt late when Malcolm and Eve were alone again. They were thrilled about their new baby as nice as it was to share her with their family. There was something to be said about being alone as a small family.

The End

So that was that I hope it worked for everyone. It's odd not having reviewers to thank at the end of a fic but thank you for any support all the same hugs and hearts -Trista
