94Chapter 3 Friends and Changes
That Night at Kuso Residents, Naruto's room
"And just when he thought he had me, I pulled out Frame Fire and toasted that Subterra Mantris." Naruto explained as he sat in a chair staring at the computer with Leonidas on his desk dancing talking to his four friends. On the computer were four screens, in each were four people: One boy and three girls.
The first one was Runo Misaki, a feisty one, a peach skinned 15 year old girl having long sky blue hair in pigtails with green eyes, a slim figure with C-cup breasts, wearing a yellow midriff shirt and a white skirt with a pink belt, maroon wrist gloves that are fingerless, orange and white stripped knee socks, and brown shoes.
The second one was Julie Makimoto, a total babe, a tan skinned 15 year old girl having long pinkish-white hair that is in a side ponytail with blue eyes, a curvy figure with D-cup breasts, wearing a pink midriff shirt and matching shorts with a purple-white studded belt that had a yellow trimmed heart shaped buckle, white fingerless gloves that covers her forearms, white and blue headphones around her neck, and a portable music player attached to her right shoulder, and white boots.
The third one was Alice Gehabich, sweet, sweet Alice, Naruto couldn't admit it but he always loved the girl, yet never would tell her, a peach skinned 16 year old girl having long orange hair with brown eyes, a fit figure with C-cup breasts, wearing a yellow dress that had a green blouse underneath, a pink hooped bracelet on her left wrist, white shorts, and small white and green boots.
And finally one of Naruto's only male friend Marucho Marukura, the boy with big brains, and the youngest out of all of them being only 14 years old having short blonde hair with blue eyes that had a pair of red glasses over them, wearing a blue and white sweatshirt with a blue hoodie, blue fingerless gloves, dark blue-black shorts, and blue and white shoes.
"Even though the battle was over I still tried to show good sportsmanship, but the guy was a sore loser." Naruto sighed scratching his head. "Some people can't accept lose with grace."
"Well some people would be sore losing a battle to you with someone of your talent." Runo said earning a confused look from Naruto. "I mean you are ranked in the top three." Naruto nodded at that. The world rankings were to show which one was the best Bakugan brawler. When he first started he ended up being in the top twenty, but thanks to Leonidas and his Bakugan he was now in the top three at rank number three.
"Yeah, but I'd never get there without my Bakugan." Naruto smiled at Leonidas that jumped up and down.
"I guess that's true. But man! I'm so jealous!" Runo pouted.
"Don't worry, Runo. Your ranking will skyrocket before you know it." Naruto assured making Runo smile.
Julie suddenly shock gasp, making everyone to look at her.
"Oh my god Naruto, you made it into the top three?! That earns a victory kiss from Julie." Before Naruto could say anything Julie learned forward and kissed the screen making him blush at the site of Julie kissing the screen, while Leonidas was taking it's chance and pecking the screen.
"Dirty Bakugan." Naruto thought dryly looking at it.
"Julie, while I enjoy the affection and attention they're not really necessary." Naruto said chuckling sheepishly rubbing the back of his head.
"You go Naruto! I will always be your biggest fan in the world!" Julie said causing Naruto to blush even more.
"Who knows, Naruto, at the rate you're going you might soon surpass Shuna. She is after all the number one on the ranking." Marucho informed making Naruto's eyes widen at the girls name. Shuna was a childhood friend he knew back when Miyoko adopted him. She usually kept to herself, and was very sarcastic at times, but she was nice.
"Naruto what do you think your gonna do once you reach number one?" Alice asked in her sweet tone, causing Naruto to blush, before regaining her composure.
"I'm not really into it for the title, I just want to meet new people as well as new Bakugan and have some fun brawls." Naruto said. He wasn't in this whole thing for the title, he was just in it for the battles to meet new people and Bakugan, plus he wanted to see what he can do along with Leonidas.
"I'm just glad you're not overconfident with your ranking." Marucho said.
"Please, that last thing I want to be is overconfident. It leads to you being easy to beat and humiliated." Naruto said leaning back against the chair putting his hands behind his head.
"Do you think you can take on Shuna? You know as you are now?" Runo asked making Naruto hum in thought.
"Dunno. Like in life, in Bakugan battles anything could happen. I'll just have to wait and see." Naruto commented, making everyone nod in agreement.
"Oh and Naruto." Naruto turned to Alice's screen, seeing the girl face closer to the camera. "Maybe sometime you can come and visit?" Naruto's eyes widen at the idea of visiting Alice.
"I-I uh... I would lov-I mean like that." Naruto quickly corrected himself, causing a giggle from the girl.
"Hey! What about me?! Can't you visit me too, my darling Naruto!" Julie wailed throwing her arms out as if to hug Naruto.
"Don't worry, Julie. I'll try to visit you too." Naruto smiled making Julie cheer.
"Don't forget Mui, too, y'know." Alice said reminding Naruto of his other friend.
"Right. I'm surprise she didn't add on to the chat." Naruto said as Alice shrugged her shoulders not knowing either.
Before he knew it he let out a yawn, realizing he was very tired.
"Well I think I should hit the shack. It was nice to talk to everyone, hopefully we can talk tomorrow." Everyone said their good nights as Naruto turned off the camera.
"Come on Leo, time for bed." Naruto said as he grabbed Leonidas before setting it down on the night stand, sat on his bed wrapping his blanket around him as he settled into his bed.
"Tomorrow is a new day." Naruto said as Leonidas landed onto the bed, and rested next to the pillow as Naruto closed his eyes and went to sleep.
Unknown Place
"If only these humans understood that Bakugan is not just a game." A familiar voice said from within some sort of realm that was consumed in flames. It took the form of a massive red orange fox with red eyes that had slits in them and nine flowing tails behind him. Staring out into the void as it watched it's brethren fight for these children.
"They're only scratching the surface. An even larger battle is taken place in my new home universe, Vestroia." It thought to itself as it thought of its new massive dimensional home for the past nine years. "A universe fueled by six worlds, each with their own elements. The Earth element called Subterra." It thought before moving onto the next place.
"The element of Light, Haos."
"The Dark element, Darkus."
"Aquos, also knowned as the Water element."
"The Wind element, Ventus."
"And the Fire element, Pyrus... my home." It thought before something caught its eye. From the flames nearby he saw it, another bakugan taking the form of a skeletal, split-nosed with a seeming cleft lip and palate, white scaled wyvern and dragon-like form. However he realized what it was doing, and needed to stop him.
"Naga! Wait!" It roared as it stood in front of the creature that was Naga.
"Out of my way Kurama." Naga growled. The Bakugan, now known as Kurama, glared at the Bakugan he once considered his friend.
"Why are you so obsessed with gaining all this power Naga? You know it will only lead to your ultimate destruction." Kurama said trying to make him see reason.
"SILENCE!" Naga roared in anger. "You have no idea what I have been through, what we feel inside." Kurama glared at him.
"I suspected you had something to do with the human they call Michael. What I like to know, where did you find him?" Naga instead laughed instead of answering before holding up a black card within it's claws.
"Do you know what this is?" Kurama did not answer, but he knew what that card was. However he was surprised when Naga threw the card, causing it up to form a portal from thin air.
"A portal?!" Kurama exclaimed.
"Yes!" Naga roared as he flew into the portal. "It leads to the source of power!"
Earth
Naruto yawned after another day of school, glad it was over after such another boring day. Leonidas relaxing on his shoulder as they made their way home.
"Man, I wonder if someone will challenge me today?" Naruto said out-loud looking at his Bakugan. "You think Ventus would be good to start off a battle?" He asked, however the thing he got from Leonidas was the Bakugan jumping up and down. However it's entire body color started changing from fire red to obsidian black and purple. Unlike most Bakugan Leonidas could change it's attributes which Naruto had never seen before.
"You think Darkus huh?" Leonidas nodded it's head in confirmation. Naruto smiled as Leonidas started jumping up and down again waving around as if trying to talk.
"Man would that be a day." Naruto thought looking out at the horizon. "Talking to my Baku-"
"HEY!"
Naruto looked up to see Shuji and Akira standing in front of him.
"Shuji? What do you want?" Naruto asked.
"I want a rematch." Shuji grinned.
"Seriously?" Naruto deadpanned.
"That's right! And this time I'll cream you!" Shuji said smugly.
"Look, I need to get home so..." Naruto tried to decline the offer for a match.
"Either we brawl or I let my fists do the talking." Shuji threated brining his fist up.
"Yeah!" Akira said.
"Fine." Naruto sighed as he and Shuji took their cards out.
"Bakugan! Field open!"
A few minutes later(The same thing that happens to Dan does to Naruto, I know it might seem lazy, but I decided to skip that)
"What the?"
Naruto found himself floating in a realm of fire.
"Where am I? I know I was battling Shuji, but then this happened." Naruto mutters.
Suddenly something shot passed him showing a massive red orange fox with nine tails fighting a black and purple figure with large claws.
"A fox Bakugan with nine tails? A Kyuubi?" Naruto said shocked.
In a flash of light Naruto saw he was back at the battle with Shuji, his Pyrus Serpenoid, a red snake/serpent against Darkus Stinglash, a black and purple scorpion with a human head.
"That wasn't normal. At least by my standards." Naruto breathed.
"It's time to end this battle! Darkus Stinglash attack!" Shuji said as he was now using Darkus Bakugan to fight with as Stinglash attacked Serpenoid but it dodged and wrapped inself around the scorpion-like Bakugan.
"Sorry, Shuji, but I'm turning this thing around." Nauto said. "Command Card: Quartet Battle activate!" As Naruto's Gate Card opened. "Time to add a few more Bakugan to the party."
Suddenly two Bakugan shot out the card showing they were the same ones Naruto saw earlier, and they were in a struggle.
"Those were the same Bakugan I saw in my vision." Naruto said.
"Snap out of it Fear Ripper!"
Naruto was shocked that the Kyuubi Bakugan spoke.
"The negative energy from the Silent Core is overpowering your mind! Making you go crazy!" Kurama shouted at Fear Ripper, but it wasn't listening.
"But wait, why does that voice sound familiar?" Naruto thought.
"Fine! If you won't listen..!" Kurama growled kicking Fear Ripper away before a fireball appeared in front of his mouth. "Kyuubi Booster!" Kurama launched the fireball as it transformed into a large fox head and engulfed Fear Ripper.
There was a big flash and Naruto, and Shuji were back in the real world as Naruto was the victor and Shuji was the loser once more.
"I lost again!" Shuji wailed.
"What?!" Akira exclaimed.
"I wonder what that was all about." Naruto thought as he stared at the new Bakugan in his hand. "Is there something more to Bakugan than what I first thought?"
Kuso Home
Naruto sat on his bed staring at the Bakugan deep thought, in all honesty he was really trying to figure out what happened. Meanwhile Leonidas was in ball forms sleeping on his pillow. After researching all the Bakugan he knew he couldn't find any of them that had the same form the new one had.
"Man I looked over all I could and nothing. Not to mention when I heard it spoke. Maybe the news has something over it." Naruto said out loud. "Maybe I can call Alice. Or Runo or Julie? I wouldn't mind talking to them more often." Naruto said letting out a dreaming sigh.
"Ah man there he goes again." Naruto's eyes widen at the sudden voice. He looked around trying to find the source but saw no one in here with him, and it didn't sound like his Mom. Thinking he was just hearing stuff he laid down on the bed and relaxed. "Everyday I hear 'Oh Alice. Oh she so pretty.' Or 'Runo what a feisty and amazing girl.' Or 'Julie how about I show you the wonders of being my fan.' And all that crap. Ugh!" The voice groaned.
"What the..." Naruto muttered as he tried to find the source.
"Seriously why not just take all three girls and show them a good time. Hehehe." Naruto didn't know how to respond, but his cheek flushed red at the suggestion he heard. He stood up from his bed and started searching his room for anything out of the ordinary.
"What is he looking for?" The gruff voice asked.
"I... I think I've lost my mind." Naruto declared.
"Yeah and my name isn't Leonidas!" The voice snickered.
"Leonidas?!" Naruto said turning around towards his bed, his widen as he saw his Bakugan out of ball shaking its head.
"What Naruto?!" To his shock Leonidas turned to him, and as if he could tell his expression he could tell Leonidas was shocked. The two stood in silence as they tried to comprehend the situation. Naruto was at a lost, for the longest time he could not believe what he was hearing. His Bakugan, the one he had used in most battles was speaking in front of him.
He had to pinch himself to see if he was dreaming
"Ouch!"
He was not.
"..."
"..."
"...
"... So... how's it going?" Leonidas asked.
"Uh, f-fine." Naruto chocked out
"That's good." Leonidas said.
Silence.
"Beautiful night, dont'cha think?" Leonidas said trying to ease the tention.
"I think my normal days, at least normal for me, are over." Naruto thought.
He had no idea how right he was.
So there's chapter 3. Next like I said I plan to update the other three stories. Kind of been going in overdrive here. Anyway, til next time.
