57Answer to the riddle:
an echo
With Lucy
Meanwhile, Lucy and Happy have reached the village.
They inform the villagers, "A man named Lyon and his cult are believed to be responsible for your transformation into demons."
"And they are coming here to destroy the village!" she announced.
"Why so much commotion is there?" the village chief Moka asked.
"There is going to be an enemy attack here, I want everyone to evacuate this village right now." Lucy informed the chief, crouching to meet his height. Murmurs of uncertainty were heard among villagers.
"I don't care!" Moka said, throwing a tantrum, "I just want that moon to be destroyed!" while pointing his finger toward the moon.
The villagers, Lucy and Happy sweatdropped.
"I want the moon to be destroyed! It killed my son Bobo! destroy it! why have you not destroyed it..." Moka repeated, pointing toward his culprit.
"Calm down chief." said a villager trying to get a hold of the chief and is taken away by villagers to calm down.
A light bulb lit inside Lucy's brain. Yeah, she could do that!
Lucy described her brilliant plan to everyone present. The villagers were not sure of this plan. "This plan is not gonna work, Lucy. No one is gonna fall for that." Happy told her in an incredulous tone. Thinking, how can she come up with that kind of plan.
The time comes for Lucy to put her plan into work, "Don't worry everybody, I'm a Fairy Tail mage, leave everything to me!" she boasted and muttered quietly, "I wanted to say that for so long.~~"
So she summoned Virgo. The villagers stared at Virgo sceptically, "What is your request princess?" she asked in her emotionless voice.
Lucy described her plan and asked the loyal sprite to execute it.
Happy eventually told her, "You are an idiot for thinking that anyone will fall for that trap." still conflicted between that Lucy is mad or insane. The villagers also look doubtful, the hole that celestial sprite dug at the entrance of the village gate looked ridiculous to them. There were many disapproved opinions about the pitfall trap but Lucy shushed them all by saying, "Old tricks are still used for a reason."
She was positive of her plan, even in the face of almost everyone's disapproval.
Footsteps were heard by everyone.
'someone was coming.'
The gate opened.
Gray woke up. He felt nauseous, his world was upside-down, a stronghold on his waist and a feverishly warm body. He remembered what happened at the altar and begin crying, no matter what or who was carrying him. He remembered that day he took the worst decision of his life.
"No Gray, you can't beat him! Deliora is far out of your league Gray!" she told him sternly.
"But I wanted to learn magic just to defeat that thing!" argued Gray angrily.
Natsu was keeping quiet, he knew that the ice mage needs some time to heal emotionally and physically. Gray cried, "I'm sorry Ur, I'm so so s-sorry."
Natsu then assured him softly, "It's ok Gray." and patted him on the back. Hearing an unfamiliar voice caused Gray to stop crying.
He tried to recall this unfamiliar voice but failed.
"Who are you?" he jerked his body upward and hissed in pain.
"You should not move when you're injured." came a piece of unwanted advice in Gray's opinion,
"Who are you? tell me or I'll freeze you!" he threatened. A snort was heard.
"Natsu." came a simple reply.
"Huh ...who?" Gray could only see Natsu's pink hairs, though that was all he needed to know. "You're that pink-haired jerk? where are you taking me?" he asked, trying to get off Natsu's shoulder and sulk somewhere.
Gray heard a sigh, "You're moving to much Gray." stated the Pinkett.
"Stop irritating me an-" before he could finish his rant, Natsu knocked him unconscious. Reaching the village closer with each step.
Natsu later reached the village, still carrying Gray. The gates opened and knowing there was a trap at the entrance, he threw Gray in it.
"OOwwww." Gray howled in pain pulling out some grasses and twigs, waking up. He eyed up to see a crouched Natsu smirking at him from the opening of the hole.
The smirking face of this man irritated him, "What is the problem with you!?" Gray finally snapped, "Sometimes you help me, sometimes you try to kill me!? what's wrong with you!"
Lucy stood there agape seeing the stranger carrying and throwing Gray. "My plan...didn't work." she slowly said, in disbelief.
Happy puffed his cheeks to control his giggling and murmured, "I told you."
Natsu turned to look at Happy after hearing his voice. The blue feline saw him and was shocked to notice those eyes. The yellow reptilian-eyes. The Pinkett started walking toward them leaving the ice mage to struggle.
Lucy didn't know what was happening, she was bewildered.
Gray came out of her pitfall trap, behind the scarred man and tried to punch the stranger.
The Pinkett tilted his head toward the right and caught Gray's fist with his right hand. "You know that you are wounded yet you try to hit me?" slightly amused Natsu, justified with a raised eyebrow.
"Wait wait wait," Lucy interrupted, trying to understand everything, "Who are you?"
The villagers were gawking at them, especially the scarred man. The Pinkett looked at Lucy and sighed, slightly annoyed. Before he could reply, Gray yelled, "All this jerk knows that he is Natsu." Natsu gave him a long look.
Lucy laughed awkwardly, "Hello Natsu." she waved in greeting. He gave her a look and nodded. What else could he do?
"Have you defeated those enemy mages, Lucy?" Gray asked, ignoring his throbbing injuries.
Then it hit her, 'Why have those mages not arrived yet? they left before me so they should be here, right?'
"No, but they left before me. They should have been here before me, you know." she told him.
Soon, the gathering saw Angelica, the huge rat. Natsu grimaced. The rat was carrying Lyon's team and an enormous bucket, a huge drop of some thick green liquid managed to fall from the bucket.
Everyone present watched it fall in anticipation as it hit the ground and vaporised the soil in a spherical mould.
Lucy guessed this liquid will be used to eliminate the village. "They're going to throw an entire bucket of that thing!?" Gray yelled incredulously.
"What have you become Lyon." he whispered to himself. Gray was sulking while Lucy was not able to find a way to escape via Happy.
The villagers were in a panic as they were in the centre of their home. Being the first to die from that jelly.
"Villagers," came a straight voice bringing everyone back to earth, "You have to leave this area for now, as soon as possible." Natsu said, taking charge.
"And also," he added and walked toward Gray, "Take him with you."
"Wha-" Gray was again knocked unconscious by Natsu while the villagers took him.
"I will not leave Bobo!" cried Moka clinging to his son's grave like a child to its beloved toy. "Chief we have to go." pressed a villager and took him away.
While everyone was leaving the site, Lucy and Happy stood there. Looking at the strange Pinkett, who called himself Natsu.
"The cold Emporer would be so happy, wouldn't he Toby?" Yuka asked his dog-looking friend.
"OOnnnnn, yes. Hurry up Sherry!" he yelled at her.
"Angelica please do the honours." came Sherry's high-pitched order.
A splash was heard.
Lucy and Happy saw Natsu walking toward the centre when the poisoned jelly was splashed. He once again stared at them as if examining something, then nodded to himself. Looking upward, he smirked. Poison huh?
The poison blanketed the entire village. Sherry, Yuka and Toby looked proud. Sherry praised Angelica, "My beautiful warrior of Love- Huh!?" she starred in shock along with every mage present at the site.
A sucking sound was heard. The green poison jelly was gathering in the centre and was engulfed by a vortex. The jelly cleared and everybody saw the centre of the vortex to be Natsu's mouth.
"Sweeeet!" Natsu said licking his chapped lips, "never had poisoned jelly in my whole life." he mocked them calmly.
Natsu had converted poison jelly into magic power and stored it in his body.
Lucy stood there, jaw dropped. Happy was so shocked that he fainted before Natsu even finished his feast. Angelica stopped flying her propeller tail while Lyon's team fell on the surface.
"Wha-What was...that!?" Lucy shuttered. Her eyes held terror and her legs trembled. She knew that the guy before her was powerful even though not a trace of magic power from him was felt. Like he was a non-magic user, a normal human being. Natsu folded his scarf and wore it in a classic loop style.
"Yuka, Toby that boy is the one I caught earlier." Sherry said, pointing a shaking finger at that odd person.
The Fairy Tail Mage was then confronted by Lyon's team, "So they both are Fairy Tail mages, huh?" Sherry assumed.
"One village and couple of mages in just 15 minutes." Yuka foretold arrogantly, trying his best to ignore that poison drinking freak.
Toby howled. "Angelica let's go and find those demon children. Let us give them eternal rest from this world, in other words, 'Love'~ " Sherry said, a strange glint in her eyes. She climbed onto the back of her pet. The giant rat started her tail-propeller.
"Lucy! go and stop that filthy rat from reaching the villagers." Natsu told and eyed her. she seems familiar to him.
Lucy nodded and leapt at Angelica and clung to her claw. She cried anime-tears when she noticed where she was. The rat was soaring high. The pink-head turned, hearing a shriek and saw the blond girl from before.
"What are you doing!?" Sherry yelled.
Hearing the gothic-lolita girl, Lucy decided to be crazy like her guild. Tickling the rat in the claw.
Angelica began giggling, much to Sherry's disbelief. The trio of females fell somewhere in the forest.
Seeing the girls gone, Natsu raised an eyebrow at the remaining two mages waiting for them to strike. Happy analysed the Pinkett and decided to go after Lucy.
The blue-haired mage Yuka smirked, "You will be much easier to defeat," sticking a hand out in stop motion, "Toby you just stand back and watch me defeat him."
The scarred boy grinned slightly, "You are daring," he said.
Yuka smirked and spoke, "You know, I'm also from a famouse guild. The guild is also considered the greatest enemy of Fairy Tail. We have a strong mag-"
"I'm not in Fairy Tail." Natsu interrupted and added, "Stop your babbling." giving him a look as if bored.
A vein popped on Yuka's head, "You should listen to when people are talking! anyways, as I was saying that mage is the star of our gui-"
"I told you, stop prattling."
Natsu then dashes toward Yuka, fist coated with a little bit of magic and punches the blue-head on the face. But his fist hit something hard, like a wall and saw a blue-coloured circular shield-like projectile in front of Yuka. He felt his magic leave his fist. Humming to himself, he ran toward Toby and gave a blow in the gut.
Toby spat some blood and flew back. Turning toward Yuka, "You use some sort of nullification magic, don't you?" he inquired.
Yuka smirked and cleared, "So you have figured out the nature of my magic already."
"All mages are powerless against me I can nullify any magic." he finished boasting. Natsu gave him a disinterested look. He can beat him with or without magic. It solely depends on Natsu what to use.
Natsu again bolts toward Yuka, this time at extreme speed, only the flap of his cape was heard.
In a blink of an eye, he was in front of the other mage. He elbowed Yuka in the chest, flew backwards and kicked him in the gut.
The blue-head fell on his back and coughed some blood, "You-argh-will pay!" Yuka tried to intimidate his opponent. Though he, himself was shaking from the cold staring Natsu gave him.
With that, he fell unconscious.
"Tch wh-" "Onnnnnn how can you defeat Yuka! oonnnnnn" came a howl.
Natsu turned and saw Toby, eyebrow raised. "Now I will show you what my paralysis claw mega jellyfish can do!" Toby grinned wickedly, "You don't know what it will do to you. Ha ha," he spread his hands and displayed his elongated claws.
"Paralyse you? duh!" Natsu revealed indifferently.
"HOW Did you know THAT!" Toby exclaimed, eyes about to pop out.
"What an idiot." Natsu muttered and told him, "You have something of your forehead...yeah here."
Toby scratched his forehead and got paralysed. Natsu grinned slightly at the display of stupidity. He was enjoying this showdown.
Lucy has fallen in the middle of the forest, rubbing her aching head. She heard someone sobbing and discovered Sherry crying her eyes out.
"Now Lyon won't love me!" she wailed, " Look at what you have done to Angelica."
"My poor, poor Angelica." she screamed.
Sherry promised in fury, "I will never forgive you, for what you have Done!"
Lucy responds, "It is fine by me." and added, "Bring it on!"
Sherry instantly used Doll Attack: Wood Doll on a random forest tree. And orders her possessed tree to attack Lucy but she dodged it. In mid-air, she summoned "Open gate of the golden bull: Taurus"
Taurus quickly cuts Sherry's Doll with his axe. Without any perverted compliment, much to Lucy's shock.
Sherry is surprised, "You are a Celestial Spirit Mage, on top of that, you own a Golden Key!?" she asks in a tone that pissed Lucy of. Who is she to judge Lucy's ability!?
Suddenly Taurus squealed, "Luuuucccyy your body is the best." with hearts in his eyes and rubbing his hands. Lucy facepalm.
Sherry remarked in disgust, " You're making your Celestial Spirits say highly indecent things to you? and you enjoy it?"
"I don't make my Spirits and I doesn't enjoy them saying these things." Lucy countered, eyeing Taurus checked her out.
Sherry smiled disturbingly and informed Lucy, "Celestial Spirits Mages are at a disadvantage against me."
Lucy only directed Taurus, "Go and defeat Sherry."
"Will I get a smooouuuch if I do that?", he asked Lucy while dashing at his target but stopped on the way. "Why did you Stop!?" Lucy yelled.
Sherry grinned. Taurus turned around and run toward Lucy and attacks her with his axe. She almost dodged it.
Lucy cried, "Taurus, what is going on!? Why are you attacking me?" but he just pinned her down without saying anything.
"I can't control my booddyy, Luucy." Taurus told her in frustration to an astonished Lucy.
Sherry explained, "You are now in control of my Doll Attack. I can easily control anything that is not human." she added, "Since Celestial Spirits are not HUMAN I am able to control them." she smirked.
She ordered Taurus, "Strip her down."
He replied, "It would be my pleasure!" with extra excitement and hearts in his eyes.
Lucy asked incredulously to her spirit, " Are you really being controlled!?"
Taurus apologized. while she tried to do gate closure, "Close gate of the Golden Bull." But was not able to.
Sherry laughed and said, "You cannot close the gate one-sided. Both, Mage and Spirit, have to close it with both of them in agreement."
Lucy asked, " Taurus close your gate." but his eyes held a strange golden colour and began pulling one of her arms away from her body.
Sherry challenged, " Are Fairy Tail Mages only at this level."
Lucy gathered her determination and ordered, "Close gate of the Golden Bull", this time it closes, and Taurus disappeared.
Lucy screamed in joy, "I did it."
Sherry was surprised, "She was able to use Forced Gate Closure." "I had miscalculated everything."
While Lucy exclaimed, "I have reached a new level because, I am a member of Fairy Tail!" happy with herself, she got herself ready into a stance, eager to fight.
Lucy stood, confident in herself and said, "The real match starts now."
Sherry only tells her, "Don't forget that your Celestial Spirits don't work on me."
Lucy knew it is her last chance, "Okay so it is time for 'IT' to come out." Sherry knew she was going for a big mistake by summoning a powerful spirit and anticipates.
Lucy took out a key and summoned " 'Open Gate of the Dog constellation the Canis Minor', Plue!"
A white, cute spirit appears, his appearance matching that of a snowman with a carrot-like nose.
Thinking about her previous thought, Sherry instantly uses her Doll Attack: Puppeteer to control Plue. Plue becomes 'evil Plue' and began attacking Lucy, doing absolutely no damage to her.
Lucy attacked Sherry with her whip, but she dodges it.
Sherry cancelled Plue's manipulation, "That was a very cheap trick." she screeched and used "Doll Attack: Rock Doll", which began attacking Lucy.
Running away, she wondered out loud, " If only, I possess Spirit that can break such a rock."
Sherry sat on her Rock doll and hunted Lucy until they get to the sea. Lucy muttered to herself, "Water! I can call Aquarius there, but water can't break rocks. Aquarius usually washes me away with her attacks..." Lucy gets an idea, a dangerous one.
She reached the beach, near the water and summoned, "Open, gate of the Water Bearer, Aquarius."
Sherry was surprised that Lucy has such a powerful Spirit. "Aquarius to take care of that Sherry-girl." Lucy commanded her spirit.
Aquarius stated, "You are noisy as ever and that is why you will never get a boyfriend." she teased not-so-innocently.
Sherry used her "Doll Play Attack: Puppeteer" on Aquarius and taunted, "You should've closed her gate already. Now that she is in my control."
Lucy denied, "Aquarius is still my trump card." Sherry ordered the possessed Aquarius to obliterate Lucy.
Aquarius replied, "I was going to do that anyway." and produced a giant wave that entangled Lucy along with Sherry. They get thrown away from the beach then closed her own gate.
Lucy, now dizzy, explained, "Aquarius always attacks friends and foes, no matter who." she didn't notice the background sounds at all.
Sherry had swirls in her eyes too, said, "You were was careless..." and added, "Aquarius wasn't able to defeat my Rock Doll." she finished. She collided with something soft and fell on her knees.
Lucy skipped a step in dizzyness, "I don't have to, because if you are unstable then you can't control the Doll." she laughed.
They both began to fight in a little-girl-kind-of-way.
Lucy finishes it by hitting Sherry with a finishing blow of her arm. Clappings were heard and laughter too. She whirled around and saw that she had somehow reached the villager's base camp. Several tents were there, then she realised the reason for each villager's laughter. Red colour flew to her cheeks.
"Angelica will avenge me! Angelica!" Sherry called.
The giant rat jumped from behind Sherry in full rage. Seeing the rat the entire village became a frenzy. People started running, knocking out tents. In one of the tents, the ice mage slept. Waking up to the sound of screaming and checking his surroundings, he came out of the tent.
Lucy shrieked as Angelica suddenly leapt at her. She closed her eyes in fear and prayed, "Oh god please help me! I never did anything wrong..." she bit her tongue, "Maybe sometimes, but that's totally fine!" She again shrieked as Lucy smelled the ridiculous fragrance from the rodent's mouth.
Shivering and feeling cold, she opened her eyes and witnessed the frozen form of Angelica. Lucy checked herself for injuries only to further notice her lack of clothing, she stood only in her tube top that was hiding some of her modesty.
Getting up, Lucy saw the kind of ice that trapped Angelica. So it was...
"Gray, you shouldn't be doing such a powerful spell in this condition." she told him in concern.
Gray stood there, his hairs shadowed his face and torso covered in bandages. "It is all my fault," he said slowly, crystal tears slid down his cheeks. "Damn it! is all my fault! I should've told Lyon before, that Ur. Is. Alive!" he yelled and looked up in ferocity. "Ur. Is. Alive!"
Lucy blinked at the sudden outburst. "What? I don't understand what are you saying."
"Luuuuccccyyy!" a blur of blue crushed Lucy in a hug. "I was so worried for you and Gray." Happy cried sneaking into her chest.
Gray started, "Since childhood, Lyon's only intention is to surpass Ur. As I told you earlier, that Ur was the one to imprison Deliora."
Lucy nodded, "So to surpass someone who's dead, you have to defeat the last thing they fought, right?" she suddenly asked, "But wasn't Ur dead?"
"Right, that is what I'm saying, she is alive..."
Gray began to recount what happened in the past.
In the sea
A redhead was heading toward Galuna Island, she held a red angry aura around her. Her angry red eyes glowed in the dark like a demon, scaring the pirates behind her.
Absolute rage leaked out of her. "They will be punished!" she yelled as her sword sliced a wooden barren in cubes.
The pirates behind her shrieked.
"Hmmm..." Natsu hummed, "What should I do with this demon?" he asked himself. Looking at the ice-encased demon, he contemplated.
Hearing the sound of footsteps, he hid behind a rock and commanded some rocks to conceal him using his Rock Dragon slayer magic.
In came a short masked man, but his scent told a different story altogether.
It was that lavender perfume again.
He sighed soundlessly. So this is a woman in disguise?
"Ur..." the disguised woman said, a strange shimmer in her eyes like tears. She was covered in golden light.
Natsu squinted, rubbing his scarred eyes slightly. So it really was a woman. And she also knew Ur?
The golden light cleared and there stood a full-figured woman with silky purple hairs flowing on her back. She wore a white kimono that reached her mid-thighs, revealing her legs.
Suddenly "Beep, beep, beep, bee-"
The woman took out an orb and picked up the magic call.
"Seigrain I told you not to call me whe-" she started
Another blue-haired man on the other side interrupted, "Yes I know Ultear, but I wanted to know the stats about Deliora. When will it be revived?" the man asked with interest.
"It will be revived tonight or tomorrow night." Ultear replied.
"Then you will take control of this demon and-"
"Shhh!" she shushed. Someone was coming and she quickly left the cave while disconnecting the orb. Natsu came out from hiding, he knew it was Gray and that blond followed by that exceed.
"I will find Lyon and tell him that Ur is alive." Gray told Lucy and Happy while coming into the cave. i
"Indeed she is, half alive." Natsu hummed in agreement.
The trio stopped upon hearing the Pinkett. He said nothing.
Turning toward Deliora, "Should I kill this demon or not?" he again muttered. Something fast came at Natsu, he held it just inches away from his indifferent face. And stared straight at the red eyes Gray.
"Don't you DARE do anything to this ice!" he snarled. "That precious ice is Ur! my master! don't yo-"
Raising an eyebrow, Natsu threw Gray into the pool and told him calmly. "Look at that water, that is Ur. You're standing on her. You feel the humidity and the air you are breathing? that is Ur. Eventually, when you will drink water, that will also be Ur."
Gray stood in the knee-length water eyes wide.
"Stop crying and mourning and sobbing for those who are gone. Care for those who are with you, Gray. She gave up her life so you could live, don't waste her sacrifice." he scolded. Gray's eyes were wide like a saucer as the realization hit him. He wanted to die in guilt, not even thinking that Ur's sacrifice would go in vain. Somehow, Natsu began seeing a bit of himself in Gray.
Opening his eyes Gray was greeted with the sight of the one and only...
"Erza? ..." he said lazily, then realised, " holy! Erza!?" and tried to get up but felt something sharp at his chin. The sluggish feeling instantly left, he saw Erza had a sword at his chin. She looked ready to kill.
"I assumed you know why I'm here Gray?" she asked curtly.
"Wher-Where's Lucy, Happy and tha-that... Natsu?" he asked, recalling Natsu's words.
"Who's Natsu?" she asked getting off-topic, "Anyway, get up. We have to leave and I've got Lucy and ..." Showing Happy hanging upside down from her left hand, "...Happy is here."
Now only, Gray analyzed his surroundings. It was obvious to him that he was inside some sort of house. He got up.
She said, "Gray, let's go back to the guild."
Gray's hairs shadowed his face, "No. We have to help these villagers"
"What of it?" she asked coldly. "I was not asking." Erza stated while pointing her requiped sword at Gray.
"You, Lucy and Happy have already broken the guild rules by taking this illegal S - Class quest and my sole reason is to retrieve the rule-breakers to master Makarove." she explained bitterly.
"But we can't leave these people like that." the ice mage tried to justify.
"I don't care, other guilds have also been sent this job request."
She threatened, "You won't get away with it. You lot have to be punished!"
Gray told her, "You can do as you like," taking the sharp blade of Erza's sword and pressing where his heart is supposed to be, "But this is the path I chose."
Erza and Gray had a staring competition, neither of them willing to yield.
Grudgingly she lowered her sword and stormed outside of the house and hauled a Lucy crying anime-tears inside. Cutting her binds, she informed, "But remember that you will be punished severely."
Concurrently, Toby and Lyon are in the throne room.
"So only you are left out of my team?" Lyon asked about Toby's defeat to Fairy Tail.
"There was a pink-haired man ..."
"Oh, I see, that pink-head, I think his name was Natsu?" he remembered the last word Natsu said to him, "went there, after escaping with Gray." Lyon smirked.
Suddenly a short masked man entered the room. He bowed to Lyon and announced, "Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail has arrived." and added, "The ritual must end tonight."
Lyon claimed, "I will not be defeated easily, Zalty" in arrogance.
The momentarily known Zalty, informed, " I know my lord but you have to save your magic to fight that demon. For that, I would also fight those mages." he finished while bowing.
A surprised Toby asked, "You can fight?" Lyon also expressed his interest in Zalty.
He admitted, "I have a bit knowledge about Lost Magic, sire." and snickered creepily.
Lyon and Toby looked at each other.
Gray stated, "By defeating Deliora, Lyon thinks he would defeat Ur, but what he doesn't know is the fact that Ur is still alive."
Erza nodded silently after hearing the whole story.
Lucy and Happy were running behind them. In Happy's case, flying.
The rustling of leaves and bushes were heard. An alert Erza signalled them to stop.
Halting to a stop the redhead requiped a sword, "Someone's there." she whispered.
A silhouette of a figure was standing. Two shiny eyes were sparkling, Erza felt it was opening its mouth for an attack. She quickly held her sword at the human figure and was about to strike. The only sound she heard was, "Ah, so we cross paths again."
But still, Erza had not retracted her sword. Gray identified the sound, "Natsu?"
Natsu stood there, removing one dry leaf from his hairs. Raising one eyebrow, "You can withdraw your sword." he told the redhead. From behind the Pinkett, another figure came wearing a dark cloak and tried to attack him.
Kicking the person, breaking their femur on impact. The person fell unconscious.
Lucy, Happy and Gray walked behind him and saw several more unconscious cloaked people. "They were the survivors of Deliora's destruction, just like Gray and Lyon." Natsu informed them. Erza was still on her guard, though she withdrew her sword and eyed the stranger.
"Who are you?" Erza asked the scarred man straightforwardly and continued, "Why are you here, are you with Lyon's cult." she began her interrogation.
Natsu ignored her and continued walking to nowhere, though the Guild mages were following him only. Natsu requiped an apple from nowhere, it was so fast that no one noticed and began eating it while sitting under a tree, "You should go and fight with Lyon or something, stop disturbing me. Don't you see I'm eating."
Now Erza got angry, "First you answer my QUESTION! or else..." she held a threat in the end.
Natsu continued eating and gestured Lucy to elaborate, "His name is Natsu." she told in a tiny voice, she was scared of Erza's anger. "And no he is not with Lyon's cult or anything." she finished.
Erza glared at Lucy, that can make anyone piss their pants off.
"Let's go then stop wasting time already." Gray yelled.
"Ah, Gray!" Natsu called, "Lyon would be inside the temple." and took another bite of the apple when Gray nodded.
Gray remembered the battle between Deliora and his mentor.
She told Gray, "It is my duty to seal your darkness."
Before they know it, the Fairy Tail mages were already at the temple.
Gray quickly went inside the temple in search of Lyon. He believed in Natsu's words. He knew what to do.
Meanwhile, Lucy was knocked unconscious by something. Erza only heard a yelp and turned and saw no one, not even Happy.
"Lucy? Happy? Whe- urgh!" with that everything went black for Erza.
