A/N: Hi! It's me again, and I hope you are all enjoying this story. I will be posting two chapters a time most likely from now on. So without furthur ado, enjoy this story and please please please review! This chapter will focus on Pinger and will most likely be the last in this story. Btw I do not own Gilligan's Island or its characters.

The Professor sat alone in his hut trying to figure out a solution to the problem at hand. Gilligan and Mary Ann had switched bodies. Although he was a renowned man of sciecnce, he had never encountered a problem such as this one. Usually, he was dealing with facts. Hard, cold facts, not the supernatural. You couldn't be confused by facts.

"Hi, Professor," Ginger sauntered into his hut. "Whatcha doing?"

"I'm just trying to figure out how to unswitch Gilligan and Mary Ann," he replied. "I've never had to deal with anything like this before."

"You've got to figure out a problem fast. Who knows all the things that can happen when a man and a woman switch bodies," Ginger smirked.

"You're right, but I don't know how to deal with curses and witchcraft."

"I can help!" she volunteered. "I saw a movie once where something like this happened. A girl got cursed by a spell to put them to sleep on their sixteenth birthday."

"Well how did she get rid of the curse?"

"True love's kiss."

"A kiss? Ginger, that stuff only works in fairytales. Real life is much more complicated. There are all sorts of implications that can come with a kiss. Not to mention the various forms of bacterial transfer."

"Will you just forget about your bacterial transfer?" Ginger joked.

"What did I don't get is how that rock switched their bodies. According to the message that was written on it, it is supposed to bestow whoever finds the rock with what their heart desires. I don't know much about what goes on in Gilligan's mind, but I doubt he desired to have switched bodies with Mary Ann."

"What were the exact words on the rock in English?"

"It said this exactly 'He who awakens me will become what his heart most desires.'" The Professor replied translating from Papuan.

"Hmm, he who awakens me will become what his heart most desires... What would that have to do with him and Mary Ann switching bodies?"

"That is exactly what I'd like to know. How would a rock that guarantees fulfillment of a desire equate to a curse?"

"What if it wasn't meant to be a curse?"

"What do you mean?"

"The rock says that you'll become what your heart desires, not that you'll get it." Ginger was beginning to put the pieces together. "If Gilligan became Mary Ann then that must be because he was desiring Mary Ann when he found the rock!"

"How did you understand all of that?" The Professor asked in amazement.

He was shocked and a little bit disappointed that he hadn't figured it out first himself but proud that Ginger had. He had known all along that the movie star was smarter than most people gave her credit for.

"It's no secret that Gilligan has a thing for Mary Ann. It's pretty obvious. He's always making eyes at her or complimenting her. And the rock says that you will become what your heart desires. So if Gilligan really did want Mary Ann, then the rock turned him into her. And because Mary Ann probably also desired Gilligan, she became him." Ginger beamed, proud of her discovery.

"You really are smart, Ginger."

"No one's ever said that to me."

"I find that surprising."

"You really think I'm smart?"

"I know that you are. No one who wasn't capable of such intelligence could've figured out all this that quickly. Memorizing facts isn't anything if you can't put them together."

"Oh! Thank you, Professor!"

Ginger was elated at the compliment. Not only because she had never been called smart before but also because the Professor had noticed her intelligence. She ran up to him and kissed him. And the Professor didn't object because of how intelligently she had solved the curse and because of how pretty she looked that day.

The two were kissing each other passionately. It definitely wasn't the first time they had kissed. They always seemed to find one way or another to kiss each other. Whether it was for the sake of a rescue plan or under the pretense of romance lessons. But this time was different. They hadn't kissed because they had to, they kissed because they wanted to. And they had both wanted to do this for some time now. They were so engaged in their kiss that they didn't even notice when the Howells passed their window.

"I'm sorry, Ginger. I shouldn't have done that. It was likely a result of our enlightenment at detecting the cause of Gilligan and Mary Ann's apparent curse."

"I don't know what you said, but it sure sounded romantic," Ginger said winking.

The Professor couldn't explain why it was suddenly so hot in his hut. The movie star always did something to the man of science who claimed he was untempted.

"Uh, I was simply saying we got a little too excited. We should go and tell the others what we found."

"Oh yes! They'll all be really happy with what we've found!"

Ginger and the Professor exited his hut.

A/N: Keep an eye out for the sequel of this story. It will be called Unswitched!
