Chapter 3! I'm feeling really good about this story so far, and it's a good excuse to rewatch WandaVision XD. I've almost got the last chapter written, so watch out for that. I'm thinking that I might do an epilogue, but I haven't decided yet, so feel free to give me ideas for it!

The next morning, Peter had a distinct feeling that he should go down by Ellis Avenue. At first he shook it off, but the feeling kept growing until it was all he could think about.

He slowly made his way down to the forbidden street, and was shocked with what he saw.

An honest to God circus was in full swing. There was everything you could imagine, from trapeze artists to clowns to lion tamers. How had he not noticed this?

He walked over to one of the tents, where he saw an escape artist and a clown arguing with another man.

"She's not going anywhere!" The man shouted, and tried to grab the Escape artist's arm. To Peter's surprise, the artist punched the guy in the face and knocked him down.

The artist and the clown ran off and got into a truck, despite the other man's protests. Then they drove off.

Peter laughed. What a way to elope.

The man who just got punched in the face rubbed his sore nose and spotted Peter. With fury in his eyes, he ran over and tried to assert dominance by puffing out his chest. Needless to say, it wasn't working.

"You can't be here! The show doesn't start until Monday!"

"I'm sorry sir, I'll leave."

"Yeah, you better."

As Peter walked away, he had a feeling that he wouldn't be there to see them perform on Monday.

As Peter walked back, he saw someone familiar heading to the neighborhood.

The woman jumped at the sound of her name. "Oh, Peter! How are you?"

"I've been better." Peter admitted. "Where have you been? So much has happened!"

"I've been out of town, per say. Do you know where Wanda is? I need to talk to her."

"I think she's at home."

"Is her home still at the same place?"

"Of course it is. Why would it change?"

"I don't know." Geraldine sighed. "Things change, sometimes much quicker than expected."

"Do you want me to walk you back?" Peter offered.

"How Gentleman of you." She chuckled and let him lead the way back to Wanda's place.

Once they got there, Geraldine thanked Peter and gestured back to his own house. "You should probably go inside. Things are about to go down."

"Alright. Will you be okay?"

"Of course I will. Thank you for your help." Then she walked inside Wanda's house without another word.

Peter went inside his house and immediately opened the window, feeling slightly guilty. He knew that whatever was going on with Geraldine and Wanda was private, but he just couldn't help himself. Privacy seemed non-existent in Westview. It was almost like someone was in his head.

He waited a couple of seconds before Geraldine was thrown back outside, with Wanda close behind her. Geraldine was floating and being choked by something. Peter knew that he should be surprised, but honestly, this seemed normal at that point.

"All you ever do is lie!" He heard Wanda snarl before throwing down her hand, which also caused Geraldine to fall.

Peter covered his eyes for fear that he would see Geraldine splat on the sidewalk, but nothing happened. When he opened his eyes, Geraldine was kneeling down on the sidewalk, completely unharmed. But that wasn't even the crazy part. The crazy part is that her eyes were glowing blue.

Geraldine stood up and faced Wanda. "The only lies I've told are the ones you've put in my mouth."

What did that mean? Was Wanda spreading rumors about Geraldine or something? Girls are weird.

"Go ahead. Kill me." Geraldine invited Wanda, but she did nothing.

"See, that's where you and Hayward differ." Geraldine continued. "He will burn down Westview to get what he wants. Don't let him make you the villain."

"Maybe I already am."

Oh snap. Shit's getting real.

Monica sighed and continued. "I'm not afraid of you, Wanda. I lost the person closest to me, too. The worst thing I can think of has already happened to me and I can't change it. I can't undo it. I can't control this pain anymore. And I don't think I want to, because it's my truth. Wanda, you have to-"

Before she could finish, an angel by the name of Agnes chose the perfect moment to present herself.

Agnes grabbed Wanda gently by the shoulders and turned to Geraldine with a frown. "Young lady, I think you've overstayed your welcome. Poor Wanda's been through enough, please don't cut her strings. Run along now."

Agnes started leading Wanda to safety, but Geraldine wasn't done. "Wanda, you have to take it down!"

Wanda spun around and pointed her finger accusingly at Geraldine. "Don't. Don't make me hurt you."

And that was that. Agnes led Wanda inside, Geraldine was left outside, and Peter was utterly shocked. The odd thing was, no one else that was present for the fight seemed to notice it. The Mailman kept going on his route, and Dottie kept tending to her rose bushes.

Maybe Peter was exaggerating, but that was the weirdest thing he had ever remembered seeing. But to be fair, his memory only went back a week and a half.

Still confused about everything, Peter decided to go to a movie. There were 3 options, but he ultimately decided to see The Empire Strikes back. It sounded good.

After the movie ended, Peter went outside and found Norm sitting on a bench.

"Hi, Norm! How are you?" He asked, sitting next to the man.

"I'm good! Just sending Herb an email about the fundraiser."

"What fundraiser?"

"I read somewhere that there was an explosion in a town called Lagos. About a dozen people died."

"Oh, that's horrible." Peter was getting serious Deja Vu.

"Yeah, it is. So me and some other people are raising some money to help them out. You want in?"

"Sure! Always feels good to do a good deed."

Norm was about to agree with him, but just then there was a whoosh of wind and two figures appeared, one right next to them and one on the roof.

The one next to them was clearly Wanda, and she looked terrified.

An oddly cheerful voice rang out from the roof. "Wanda, you've never been up against another witch before. Did you know there's an entire chapter devoted to you in the Darkhold? That's the book of the damned. 'The Scarlet Witch is not born, she is forged. She has no coven, no need for incantation.'"

Wanda looked up at the figure. "I'm not a witch. I don't cast spells. No one taught me magic!"

The person continued. "Your power exceeds that of the Sorcerer Supreme! It's your destiny to destroy the world."

"I'm not what you say I am."

"Oh, really?" The figure started chanting in a mysterious language, and there was a gasp of pain. Peter spun his head around to find none other than Dottie with her hands on her head. She stayed like that for a little bit, then she brought her hands down and walked over to Wanda.

"Wanda?" She asked, looking Wanda over.

"My name is Sarah," Sarah said, slightly more determined. "I have a daughter. She's eight. Maybe she could be friends with your boys. If you like that storyline. Or, uh, the school bully, even. Really, anything. If you could just let her out of her room. If I could just hold her, please." Sarah was crying now.

Wanda looked up at the figure with Fury in his eyes. "What are you doing to her? You're making her say this."

The person laughed maniacally. "She's your meat puppet, I just cut her strings."

I just cut her strings. The words echoed Peter's mind. Where had he heard that before?

"Wait, Agnes?" He shouted up towards the figure.

"Front and center, dear!" Agnes shouted. Then she started chanting again, this time much louder. In less than an instant, Peter's head exploded with pain and he sunk to the ground. So many Memories came flooding into his brain, it overwhelmed him.

2 weeks ago"Spiderma- Spiderman's real name is Peter Parker!""What the Fu-?!" Peter shouted, hands on his head in disbelief. Everyone on the street watching the broadcast looked at him and started shouting various things, some of which was not appropriate for a high school student to hear.Peter looked around in fright before swinging down and grabbing MJ from the mob. The two teenagers swung over to the only place that they would be safe - The New Avengers Compound. After Thanos, Pepper Potts and Colonel Rhodes had worked together to build a new compound where Superheros could come and go as they please. Most of them came for supplies or backup, but some of them (mainly Bruce and Peter) came to make conversation. It didn't feel the same without Tony or Black Widow, but it was a safe place nonetheless.Fortunately, Nick Fury was already there waiting for them."Alright, so obviously there's an issue here." Nick said once Peter and MJ landed in front of him. "I think it's safe to assume that Mysterio isn't dead, so that's problem number one. I sent Hill to go pick up your aunt and your friend Ted. They should be here soon. Now, thankfully, I've done this thing before, and we already have a safe house ready for you, Parker. It's in New Jersey, in a town called Westview. It's the last place that anyone would look.""What if the people there sell me out?" Peter questioned."I don't think they will. It's such an isolated town that I don't even think they know who Spiderman is. Besides, a cabin in the woods or somewhere else hidden is the most obvious place that you would go. You're going to hide in plain sight while we figure this out.""And how are you doing to figure this out, exactly? Because you sure have done a stand up job so far." MJ quipped."I like her." Nick chuckled. "Anyway, what we're going to do first is find Mysterio. We'll get him to confess that Peter isn't Spiderman.""And if you don't find him?""Then we'll improvise. We'll talk about it later. Right now, we need to get Peter to New Jersey.""What about Ned and MJ, and my aunt?""We have another place that they'll be staying. We have to split you guys up because you're the one who's in prime danger. If we're lucky, then the police won't think that your aunt and your friends are involved.""Alright." Peter stood up straight and fought back the tears of frustration that threatened to come down. "New Jersey it is."

"What are you hiding, Peter? I'm just kidding, I don't care. Bye!"

"You're the Spiderman, from YouTube!"

"I just respect him a lot. Hey, what's up, Dickwad?"

Aunt May.

"I thought you could sense that with your, y'know, Peter tingle."

Uncle Ben.

"With great power comes great responsibility."

Nick Fury.

"Stark said you wouldn't get that because it's not a Star Wars reference."

"Whatever's going on with you, Peter, I hope you figure it out."

"You need to wake up!"

Tony Stark.

"Ah, that's not a hug, I'm just grabbing the door for you. We're not there yet."

Doctor Strange.

"I'm sorry, I'm confused as to the relationship here. I mean, what is he, your ward?"

"The walls are thin here."

"Alright kid, you're an Avenger now."

"I'm a Survivor."

"C'mon Spiderman, C'mon Spiderman!"

Peter Parker.

"Spiderman's name is Peter Parker!"

Peter Parker.

His name was Peter Parker. He lived in Queens, New York. He had a loving aunt, a caring best friend, and an amazing girlfriend. He was dead for five years, after he fought the mad Titan Thanos and lost. When he came back, he lost his Mentor. He was in Westview because he was framed for the murder of a supervillain and had to go into hiding. And most importantly, he was Spiderman.
