4Hello guys. This is my letter of appreciation for Telletale. Recently I replayed a lot of ´´The Walking Dead´´ telletale games and I forgot how good they are. They are some of my favorite's games of all time and I finally decided to put them together in one story. This will be interesting in seeing the fables interact with survivors of the waker apocalypse.
This take place in mid episode four of season one and this take place before the game The Wolf Among Us.
In the current safe house;
Lee had just finished to talk with the rest of the group to see what is next about their plan. The boat is almost ready and soon they will leave this place and go to somewhere safe. Right now he wanted to check on clementine and see how she was doing.
''Hey sweet pea.'' Said him
''Kenny is working on the boat.'' Said her.
''I know.'' Said him
''What are we going to do? After he fix it? Where will we go?" Asked Clementine.
''Someplace safe.'' Said him.
''Ok.'' Said her still seen a little sad.
''Hey clementine what's wrong?'' Asked Lee
''Is Ben going to be ok? He doesn't seen the same, since he got back.'' Said her and Lee could understand the frustration.
''Well, he´s been through a lot, clem. He´s just gotten a little overwhelmed that's all. I´m sure he will be fine.'' Said Lee
''Ok, but before we leave tomorrow can we still look for my parents?' Asked Clementine.
''Yes, but before we go.'' Said Lee trying to cheer the girl.
''Really?'' Asked her.
Lee only feels bad for lying to her but he didn't want her to feel sad at this time.
''But I we need to be quick and don't waste much time.'' Said him
''Do you think they are still alive?" Asked her
Lee didn't know how to answer, how do you tell a little girl that her parents are dead?
''Let's see. Go get some sleep I will call you in the morning.'' Said him
''Sure.'' Said Clementine a little sad as she went to sleep.
As Lee see Clementine go to sleep, he only feels bad for what he said. He had done bad things in the past but right now in this hellhole clementine was everything for him, he would lie and do whatever it takes to keep her alive.
''Oh boy I hope they end up ok.'' Said a mysterious figure watching those scenes through a mirror of some sort.
The next morning
Lee waked up early as he promised and was going to do the quick look with Clementine, but they need to be quick before Kenny and the others comeback.
''Clementine?" Asked Lee looking for the girl at the spot that she went to sleep.
He looked all around and got worried because he wasn't finding her anywhere.
''Clementine!'' Said him.
He looked all around and then saw outside to see if there she was there.
''Where is she?'' Asked him.
He was about to go outside when the little girl voice was heard.
''Lee.'' Said her making him feel calm.
''Oh, there you are. I was looking for you.'' Said him worried.
''I was using the bathroom.'' Said her.
''Ok but don't go before warning me.'' Said him.
''I´m sorry.'' Said her.
Lee didn't want to feel angry at her, is just at this situation she could be in big trouble just by being off n a couple of seconds.
''Where is Kenny and the others?" Asked her.
''They went out to find supplies for the boat.'' Said Lee
''that's nice.'' Said her.
''Yeah, and maybe, they can get us some food.'' Said Lee
''I´m hungry.'' Said her.
''Me too, but you are the one that needs the most.'' Said him
''No, I will share with you.'' Said her.
Lee only smile at that, clementine was truly a sweet girl.
''Is ok I still have some dry fruits from the other day.'' Said him
''Fine Lee, but I will still share my portion with you.'' Said her
While they were waiting inside for Kenny and the others the time was passing and Lee was starting to get worried of the lateness of the group.
''Where are they?" Thought Lee looking at the time.
''Lee is something wrong?'' Asked Clementine
''Yes, they should have return by now.'' Said him.
''Should we go look for them?" Asked her
''No wait.'' Said Lee going to check how was the situation outside.
Lee open the gate of their safe house at the moment to see how the situation was in the streets. So far, no walker was found but soon he heard a weird noise.
''What is that noise?" Asked him.
Soon not only he heard the weird noise but smell something awful too.
''Huh?" Asked Lee confused and then is when a Walker appeared out of nowhere.
''ARGH!'' scream a walker ready to eat Lee.
''AAAAAAH!'' Scream Lee in horror.
The Walker try his best to bite Lee, but the man was meaning to hold him back.
''Get of me!'' Scream him shooting the walker in the head.
SHOOT
The noise of the gun caused the other walkers to see what was going on and in a spend of a few seconds Lee saw more Walkers.
''Oh crap.'' Said him now scared.
Soon more and more walkers appeared it was like an army of the dead ready to eat him.
''No, no.'' Said Lee running toward the house.
''Lee…'' Said Clementine seeing that.
''GET INSIDE!' Scream him locking the door.
''Are you ok? Did you…'' Asked her worried.
''No, I wasn't bitten.'' Said Lee making her feel calm.
''What do we do now?'''' Asked her.
Lee saw in the window that the walkers were getting near the house and in a few minutes, they would be infestation the whole place.
''Stay near me Clementine.'' Said him.
The two stay near each other, Lee had his gun as Clementine stayed behind him for any case.
While this was happening the same figure was watching the two in the mirror and fearing what will happen to them.
''Oh no what is going to happen next?'' Asked the creature.
Back to Lee and Clem.
Lee saw that the Walkers got to their door, but they are still not entering in.
''I only get a few bullets. Crap why it had to be now?" Thought Lee worried.
''Lee they are breaking inn.'' Said Clem now scared.
''Come with me Clementine.'' Said him.
The two rushed to upstairs to have a little more time to escape but they know so far that no matter how up you go they would still follow you.
CRASH.
''Shit.'' Said Lee seeing the Walker got in.
As more walkers enter it would be clear that this house would be infested with them in a few seconds.
''What now?" Asked Clem in horror.
''To the roof!'' Scream Lee
The two rushed toward the window that could get to the room and Lee helped Clementine climb first.
''Come on!'' Said Lee helping her.
''lee.'' Said Clem now helping him get up.
''Thanks.'' Said Lee.
Now on the roof the two were saved for now but they knew that wasn't going to last too long.
''What we do?" Asked Clem.
''Let me think.'' Said Lee
Lee looked all around to try and find his group but no such luck. He couldn't find them or the boat, they couldn't have bailed them, something must have happened.
''Where are they?'' Asked Lee now worried.
The worry turned into horror as the walker were starting to break and getting to the roof.
''Lee!'' Scream Clementine scared.
The walkers were getting near them and if they were smart, they would be eaten in a few minutes.
''We can't stay here. '' Said Lee
He then look the distance between the roof and the ground and well…he had no other choice.
''Is our only chance.'' Said Lee all serious.
''what is…'' Asked Clem but Lee was quick on his answer.
''Clementine, I know this will sound scary, but I will jump to the ground first. When I will the signal, I want you to jump too.'' Said Lee to the girl.
''No Lee I am not going to do.'' Said her crying.
''Look we have no other chance! We need to do what we can, don't worry I will catch you. The soon I get up there you can jump, and I will catch.'' Said Lee
''You promise?" Asked Clem.
''Yes.'' Said Lee
''Alright I trust you.'' Said Clem.
''I will be there for you. It will be quick.'' Said Lee
The girl understood and let Lee jump so they could escape.
Lee did that and hit the ground although still hurt his legs a little bit.
''ouch, a little pain for now.'' Thought him
''Ok now is your turn!'' Said Lee
Clementine was still a little scared of jumping but was either that or being eaten. Before she could think to jump a walker grabbed her by the arm.
''aaaah.'' Scream her.
''Clementine!'' Scream Lee in horror.
The little girl managed to escape the walker grasp and ended up losing balance and falling.
''aaaaaah.'' Scream her hitting the bushes.
BUMP
''Clem! Are you ok?" Asked Lee
''I think I broke my foot.'' Said Clem in pain
''Oh crap.'' Thought Lee worried that was the worst time for this to happen.
Soon the walkers started to appear again and more and more.
''aaaaAAAH.'' Scream the walkers.
''I will carry you.'' Said Lee.
''No, I can run.'' Said Clem.
''No time.'' Said Lee carrying the girl on his arms.
Lee carried an injured clementine as the streets started to get filled and crawled with walkers. He had a few bullets in his gun and in any minute, he would be empty and with no life.
''Dammit where are they?" Thought him in horror looking for Kenny.
He soon saw that most of the street would be filled so they would have to hide and quickly. Lee then found a store with an open door that they could hide, it was a mirror store.
Mirror World
''Come with me.'' Said Lee still holding Clem.
He enters the store with Clementine and upon putting the girl on the floor he would hold the door with as many heavy objects as he can.
''Quiet.'' Said him
''But Lee.'' Said Clem in pain.
''I said quiet.'' Said him in rush to block the entrance.
After Lee barricaded the entrance with all the heavy objects that he could find he felt a little more safe and thought it would be a good time to relax for a few minutes.
''Ok this must be it.'' Said him all calm.
''Ouch.'' Said Clementine in pain
''Clementine how are doing" Asked him.
''It hurts.'' Said her
Lee tried to find something to help Clem feel better, he looked all around and found some bandages on a drawer.
''Ok I found something.'' Said him.
Soon he patched Clementine and feel a little beet.
''How do you feel?" Asked him
''A lot better.'' Said her.
''Well, I´m glad to hear that.'' Said Lee
''Are you going to leave me alone to find the others?" Asked her.
''never say that. I won't leave you for a second do you hear?" Said Lee
''Ok.'' Said Clem hugging Lee.
The two listens to the walkers all marching outside as they seen to forgot about them.
''What we do now?' Asked her
''We are staying here until it is better for us.'' Said Lee.
''And how this is going to take?" Asked Clem.
Lee had no idea what to say. Walkers didn't sleep, didn't breathe or need it to drink, they were monsters that were immortal and lived to extinguish human life.
''I don't know.'' Said Lee all sad.
Hours later.
Lee kept looking through the crackles if he could find Kenny, Ben or someone else but nothing only walkers.
''Where are they?" Asked him
His stomach started to grumble and hard. He hasn't eaten in almost a day.
''What I would give for a hamburger.'' Said him remembering the good food before this nightmare started.
He went look for any kind of food left in that place like anything. He then found something in another drawer.
''Donuts.'' Said Lee finding a box of donuts.
They looked pretty old and had some mold but nothing that a little dust off couldn't handle.
''Is not much but is better than nothing.'' Thought him.
He them ate 2 donuts and while they taste horrible it was enough to keep him awaken and with energy for a few hours.
''Clementine, I found something for you to eat.'' Said him.
''Really?" Asked her with a smile.
''Yes, some donuts.'' Said Lee
''They look pretty old.'' Said Clem.
''I know but is all we have. I already ate mine all this is yours.'' Said him.
''OK Lee.'' Said Clementine
Clem ate her portion and while the donuts didn't taste all that great it was better than pass huger.
''Is your belly full? "Asked Lee
''Yes.'' Said her.
''Good now we can concentrate.'' Said Lee going to check the perimeter.
Soon he looked through the crackles to check how the situation was outside.
''Is safe now?'' Asked her.
''Let me see…'' Said Lee looking at the others arears, so far, no walkers.
Lee thought that maybe the walkers moved on or found someone else to chase so if that is the case, they need it to move now.
''I guess we can sneak and…'' Said Lee and soon a walker breaks in the barrier and grabs Lee.
''aaaah!"' Scream the walker.
CRASH
''LEE!'' Scream Clementine in horror
''DAMMIT GET OUT!'' Scream Lee shooting the walker three times in the head.
SHOT SHOT SHOT
The sound of the gunshots attract the other walkers and soon they saw the man and the little girl.
''Oh no.'' Said Lee worried
The walkers were now all gather and going towards the mirror store as Lee tried to defend clementine but he knew that he would die there.
''Clementine save yourself!'' Scream him.
''No, I won't leave you.'' Said her.
''There is no time for that. RUN!'' Scream him
Clementine didn't wanna leave Lee alone but while this was going, she saw two walkers that looked pretty familiar to her.
''Mom, dad.'' Said her seeing her zombified parents.
Lee saw that scene and felt even worst for the poor girl.
''No. Not now.'' Said him all sad.
He look back at all the walkers coming and soon he felt that he would have no escape.
''Clementine, please do as I say…'' Said him
''Lee!' Said Clementine
''Run.'' Scream hm.
Clementine try her best as she could with her broken foot but soon more Walkers started to pop out and she felt with no other exit. It could mean her end.
In another realm.
''No, you can't leave her Lee.'' Said the figure.
Back to the store.
Lee was using all the bullets that he had to kill as many walkers as he could but he soon found himself with a empty gun.
''I guess this is it.'' Said him all sad
''Lee.'' Said Clem pushing his arm.
''Come with me. Maybe we can...'' Said Lee with some hope.
However, their exit was also creamed with walkers. The zombies were everywhere and with no other way to leave.
''We are corned.'' Said Lee
Soon it became pretty clear that this it.
''Lee what we do now?" Asked Clementine in pure fear and Lee all could look at her with a sad smile.
''I´m sorry.'' Thought him.
''Clementine, I want you to do one thing.'' Said him.
''What is it?'' Asked her
''Close your eyes.'' Said him and Clementine look at him in shock.
''What.'' Said her.
''just do this and I when you open, we will be safe.'' Said Lee
''You promise?'' Asked her.
''Yes, I do.'' Said Lee
''Ok.'' Said Clem believing him.
As Clem close her eyes Lee embrace her and was ready to face the army of the dead going to get him.
''I´m sorry for all the sins I have done. Now I am ready to go.'' Thought him embracing the little girl.
Lee was a different man that was before the apocalypse, he was accused to murder someone and then became the guardian of this little girl. He meet all kind of people and made all kind of choices and now it became pretty clear that this was the end.
However, someone in another realm was not seeing this way.
''No, I can't see them like this.'' Said the figure that was watching Lee and Clem.
''Wait you flying buffoon what are you doing?" Asked the mirror.
''Saving the day.'' Said the figure flying away.
Back to Lee and Clem
Lee was embracing Clem very hard; she was starting to cry and he couldn't blame her.
''Ok other life I hope there is no walkers there.'' Thought him ready to die.
However, when the walkers were ready to attack they stepped back because of some bright light in the background.
''What is…'' Thought Lee confused.
He turn around and saw the mirror glowing. Somehow the mirror behind him was glowing pretty strong.
''What that…aaaaaah.'' Said Lee confused but that got even weirder when he was dragged by the mirror.
Soon he and Clementine were now following to what appeared to be a big hole.
''Lee!'' Scream Clem now scared.
He didnt know what was happening all he knew that it wasn't the walkers that were going to kill him…this fall world
''What is going on '' Thought him all worried.
Soon it got even worst when Clementine open her eyes and saw that they were not in the store anymore, they were falling down a rabbit hole.
''Leeee"' Said Clementine all scared.
''Clementine don't be scared.'' Said him trying to comfort her.
''What is going on?" Asked her
''I don't know.'' Said Lee
They would go down and down for a good five minutes. Soon they would end up in a place not filled with walkers but with things that are equally as dangerous.
