"I want to be a symbol. A symbol not like All Might and his promise of peace. I want to be a symbol of protection, so anyone who sees me will know that I will be the wall that stands between them and danger, between the innocent and the evil… I will be… Their Guardian."

"Sooo… as third year students," The teacher in class begins to say in an almost bored tone. "Its time to start thinking seriously about your futures and what you want to do with your lives. I could pass out some career aptitude tests, but why bother?" This gets almost everyone in the class pumped up, each one of them starting up their Quirks. With a flourish the teacher throws the papers in the air without a care. "I know you all want to go to the hero track!" Almost everyone begins cheering and displaying their Quirks. "Yes yes, you all have some very impressive Quirks." While he says that, its questionable what some of the students Quirks being called impressive, such as being able to stretch your eyes out of your head, inflating your head, stretching your neck and so on. "But no power usage allowed in school! Get a hold of yourselves." He finishes to calm down his class.

"Hey, teach." The golden child of Alder Junior High school begins to say, his spiky blonde hair and red eyes blazing with cockiness as he lays back in his chair with his feet kicked up on the table. "Don't lump me in with this buncha of losers. I'm the real deal, but these guys'll be lucky to end up as sidekicks to some busted D-lister. Heh." Bakugo Katsuki finishes speaking with a laugh.

This sparks the ire of the class of course as they all shout in anger and even through some threats of fights right then and there. "Huh. You've got impressive test results. Maybe you will get into U.A. High." The teachers words makes everyone freeze and only makes Bakugo's eago soar higher.

"He's gonna try for the national school?" One female student comments above all others amidst the chatter.

"That place has only a two percent acceptance rate."

"Its impossible to get into."

"That's exactly why it's the only place worthy of me." Bakugo cuts through the chatter before flipping himself up and landing on his desk before adopting a stance. "I aced all of the mock tests. I'm the only one at this school who stands a chance at getting in. I'll end up more popular than All Might himself, and be the richest hero of all time!" He loudly and gleefully declares before gripping his hand into a fist. "People all across the world will know who I am. And it all starts with U.A. High!"

"Oh yeah, Midoriya, don't you wanna go to U.A., too?"

"Guh!" A small meek squeak can be heard. Izuku Midoriya, having had his head down on his desk and trying to keep out of everyones line of sight, slowly peaks his head up, his eyes peaking through the black and green tipped locks of his hair as he notices all eyes on him in a moment.

"… HAHAHAHAHA!"

And just like that, almost everyone in the class begins laughing out loud at the idea of Quirkless Izuku getting into U.A. of all schools.

"Midoriya? You're kidding, right?"

"There's no way you're getting into the hero course without a Quirk!" The students dogpile on him like that.

"Well, actually, they got rid of that rule." Izuku stands up to address everyone amidst their laughs. "I could be the first one." Even so as he speaks one could tell the nervousness he has.

Of course one person is far more angry than amused by this turn of events. Bakugo growls as he slams his palm into Izuku's desk, making it explode and forcing him to fall back onto the ground. "Listen up, Deku!" Izuku stares up in fear at seeing Bakugo standing over him. "You're even worse than the rest of these damn rejects, you Quirkless wannabe. You really think they'd let someone like you in when they could have me?!"

"And also… Takeda Jason you too, right?"

Everyone shuts up at the next name drop. Nearly everyone freezes as they slowly turn their heads to the person sitting to the right side of Izuku, sitting there impassively with his arms crossed, sitting straight with his lips pressed together.

Bakugou turns, angrily staring at the person as subtle explosive pops can be seen from his hands.

The neutral look he has changes to subtlest hint of smirk on his face, his blue eyes taking a small sheen to them in readiness as he turns around.

There you have it everyone. Went ahead and decided to start up my own My Hero Academia/Boko no Hero Academia story. Been watching this anime for awhile now and my thoughts have been swimming with so many ideas time and time again that I just caved for myself decided to go ahead and put the story into words. This anime has been an amazing experience to watch after awhile and I can safely say that this show has had me on the edge of my seat and made me feel so many emotions, which is something only a rare few shows has ever done for me in a long time.

Thank you reading the prologue chapter, as short as it is, but hopefully it was enough for you to wet your appetite and give this story a chance in retrospect. I've got several chapters already written up for this story and the next chapter should already be uploaded as well. Over the course of every couple of week's, I will post the next chapter in this story to give people time to read them, as well as spread out the content since this is my first time having had several chapters in storage at a time. I've had too many times where I've had stories with long pauses between updates and I want to give people giving this story a chance at least some semblance of a consistent upload time.

And as a disclaimer: I do not own Boko no Hero Academia/My Hero Academia. The only thing I own is my OC or possible other OC's and that's it. I have NO say in the creation and writing of Boko no Hero Academia's written literature or work of the anime. Cover image does not belong to me.

Thank you all and have a great day.
