Hargeon in X780
A young man cheerfully walked into the only magic shop in the place. He immediately unveiled his gray hodie once inside the room, exposing messy golden blonde hair over his shoulders, and headed straight for the cashier.
"Good afternoon~" said the young man cheerfully as he raised his hand and put the silver key on the front desk of the little old man who kept the cashier with now a bored looks in his face.
"How much can you pay for this thing?"
A key to the celestial spirit contract.
The young man walked out of the shop quietly, there was a commotion welcoming him at the front and people began to crowd and whisper loudly. But he didn't spend enough time caring enough and finding out what was going on, he was too busy trying to stay out of it.
His job is not to attract attention.
"OWW!"
He blinked while straightening his gray hood before stretching out his hand to help the little girl who had bumped into him. "Sorry, are you all right?"
Red hair
Kizmizi
Silver armor and swords.
A little girl, maybe not more than fourteen years old. Feels somewhat familiar.
Where has he seen her?
"I'm fine sir." The girl looked up slowly from her position as if nothing had happened. Refusing his help and rushing towards the crowd, looking for something or someone. The blonde remained frozen in place for a while before taking a quiet step away from it.
Fiore Kingdom A neutral country with 17 million people. This is a magical world where magic is bought and sold there every day. It is an inseparable part of the life of its inhabitants. And there are some of them who use magic for a living. These people are referred to as magicians. The magicians joined different guilds, they did the work on demand for rewards. There were a lot of guilds in the country, and in certain cities there were certain guilds
A guilld of various legends that was once born or rather, will continue to be born and continue into the future. And the name is: Fairy Tail
"Ah, I'm Naruto Dragneel" The blonde youth smiled kindly.
"Drag-neel ...?"
"Is there something wrong?" He asked, still smiling.
"Mnn ... No, I guess. I am Erza Scarlet, a magician hired to catch the bandits behind you, sir" she replied politely as she introduced herself.
Naruto nodded his head in understanding as the battered mens behind him let out a sad whimper, clearly terrified. He took note of the information the red girl in front of him gave him and then grimaced at the most familiar guild mark on the girl's arm. Silently hissed 'Fairy Tail' under his breath.
The Fair Tail's Magican?.
The world must hate him.
On his quiet and peaceful journey, Naruto had just decided to take a shortcut and started to get a little lost then somehow ended up in the forest when a group of 'armed' men likely a bandit confronted him. He was about to issue some kind of early warning before crushing the spirits of the big babies with innocent ignorance of who they was againts when the red and silver blur broke through and 'saved' everyone.
It was the excited little girl who ran into him this afternoon.
Getting 20 grown men out without a scratch wasn't a problem for him, but it was still a big achievement especially for a little girl aged fourteen, amateur or not.
So Naruto took out his sincere compliments and offered some Jewel (In case you forget, its fairytail's official money) in return for the little show, which she stubbornly and stubbornly refused. But Naruto doesn't give up either, the blonde counts it as a debt and clearly remembers where the little witch came from made him shyly reluctant to deal with future fairy tails and start arguing childishly. They then ended up with an agreement that was mutually agreed upon.
Naruto had to take Erza back to Magnolia because the girl was lost. The problem is that because of various things like pride he also forgets that he is also lost.
Only God knows where they ended up placing themselves with the navigational abilities of the two which turned out to be terrible.
His legs trembled on the sand, the saltiness of the sea water filled his mouth, his whole body was shivering with exhaustion, the thin clothes he wore didn't promise him anything either. The wind blew as if trying to knock him down and with the last of his strength he raggedly walked away from the shore, taking occasional breaks along the way to ease his burden. Then he started walking again, this time entering the thick dark trees in front of him.
The blond fifteen-years old was very tired, his face and skin had all drained of their color and were now as pale as paper. The result of sea water immersion. Someone will think of seeing spirits or ghosts and even zombies when they see his current state. But the young man did not care and tried his best to find civilization among the forest and the strange environment where he was stranded without knowing anything.
Thus he fell more than a few times. when his legs were too tired to move, and his body did not have the strength to continue, fatigue and hunger dominated him, at that time he thought that all waiting for him was death. He's tired ... Very tired...
In the end he found nothing. Right ... he's too tired. But he needed to live. The sight of his village burning in his heart flickered. he had to live, so he crawled. Continue like that and again he reaches his limit.
The wind brushed against his skin, once again his body trembled as he shivered. His ears buzzed at a strange sound. Whispers of uncertainty around him. His blue eyes were too hazy to see anything, but he felt like something breathing above his limbs, seemingly trying to sniff them out. What he identified as something sharp pressed against his chest. He choked hard, trying to grab anything in front of him. His hand stopped in the air, suddenly everything became too dark for him and his consciousness disappeared at that instant.
ooo
The blue eyes feebly slid open as their owner slowly returned to the world of the living again, his vision blurred by the dominating black spot, struggling to recognize the alien environment he was in. He was leaning against the stone slab of a cave; if the high ceiling and the gigantic rock around it weren't part of his active imagination, or at least he thought it was. The place was a bit too big and spacious. It was not that strange actually considering that some of the caves in Douper, the village where his adoptive family came from, had many caves; which although smaller than this place, was also very spacious and was said to be able to accommodate dragons. But who lived in a cave this big, more precisely what brought him to that place. When, how ?.
"Oh ... You're wake up" He could hear the gruff voice typical of a teenager speaking in a sarcastic tone nearby, a young man, perhaps not several years older than him, crossing his arms over his chest with his eyes closed, sitting on another rock comfortably. Hid skin was dark with strange markings on his face and his arms maybe his body too, his hair was a long spikes of black... he couldn't tell properly because his vision wasn't clear. "Did you sleep comfortably." He mocked.
They were silent for a few moments without doing anything else until finally the black-haired(?) young man raised his head to face the pale blue eyes of the young man. "Oi, What's your name?" "Name...?" "You humans usually use it to refer to each other right." "..."
"You're not human?"
"Tsk, just answer it human!" the older of the two was getting impatient.
"Ah ... My name is Naruto."
"Na-ruto?."
"Yes, how about you"
('Heh! I am, the greath and mighty being you measly human wont understand. Do you know what've you trying to ask? a death?... However, I, will give you this exception!')
"Its Acnologia." He finnaly said. The older boy got up and jumped on the ground. Naruto was still watching him as he started walking away "Where are you going?" He asked"Hunting." The blonde was silent for a few moments before he gasped with a realisation "Wait!" he exclaimed frantically trying to get up and chase after the older youth but immediately fell and hit the stone floor below.
ooo
What ... Where is this? What happened? How about the village? How about the others? Zeref ... Natsu ... . . Acnologia To Naruto the name sounded strange, not something familiar anywhere he could remember. The older boy emphasized that he rarely had contact with the outside world given his condition, attitude and ignorance of many common things Naruto mentioned in some of their conversations. Naruto wasn't stupid after all, so it was hard not to notice much about it. but he never mentioned it and chose silence. They get along and become close easily within a few days. Naruto doesn't have much trouble following the Acnologia's wild lifestyle, roaming the giant forest, hunting for food and facing wild predators four times the size of an adult human to avoid being eaten. That didn't stop him from worrying about a lot of things about his family, so he started to wonder. Suppressed many nightmares that woke him up. Acnologia told him that he didn't know anything about Douper when he ask that, at one time an older youth said about dragon activity that was becoming more frequent on the surface and seemed to be preparing for war.
Then it is said that the dragon festival will be happening soon, at that time ...
Naruto begins to freak out at the realization in his last memory invading. Blood scattered where there were corpse scattered about filled his vision and he started screaming in despair ... Everything became even more real, even the giant forest around him disappeared back into a burning ground. Everything was burnt with the red flames of hell around him. He felt very helpless for the first time in a very long time since he was saved. Holding his head in his hands, he let the tears he had built up inside him for so long spilled out. He needed to cry, he needed someone who could comfort him. ... he needs her family by his side to say everything is fine.He felt Acnologia stood there, watching, but he didn't say anything and ...
The memories in his head continued to flash and his breath picked up as he tried to calm himself down. His nails dug into his scalp as he swallowed the lump in his throat, he was terrified ... and he was left alone ... Zeref Natsu Mother... D-dad ...
Naruto gasped, awakened from his dream by a violent slap that stung his cheek. Erza loomed over him panting with her hands raised ready to throw another slap to make him wake up.
He slowly got up and rubbed his wet face, tears still running down his cheeks.
"You finally wake up, bastard!" snapped Erza harshly.
But Naruto smiled faintly as he recognized the tone of relief in the girl's voice, helping him distract from the dream that was the memory fragment of his failure.
It was night, fog surrounded them offering a chill air that felt like it could freeze ice easily. Reminded him that they had still not managed to find the warmest buildings of the closest civilization that shouldn't be difficult to reach in a country with forests that were more like playgrounds. And it had been more than a few hours since they had been convinced that Hargeon was too far behind. That doesn't help at all.
"Water?" Erza offered
"Thank you" Naruto accepted gratefully.
They had been sitting for a while, deep in their own thoughts. The rest of the bonfire between the two had disappeared, couldn't offer anything anymore and the night was getting colder every second or it could be called morning because the sky was getting brighter than Naruto remembered last time. And the fog started to dispute.
There were some shifting sounds in the air that made his ears twitch, some presence in the air, a scent every warrior could recognize. Erza turned towards him seriously.
"I guess there is a house of bandits or maybe a dark guild not far from here. What are we going to do?"
"They will find us sooner or later. What do you think?"
A smirk lazily played on Naruto's lips as Erza looked at him with a confident and excited look. The girl also smirking.
Definitely not a bad thing for them.
"Let's check it out and ask them for directions."
"Of course."
That is the quickest shortcut.
To Be Continued.
